My friend Aaron Sullenger and I are addicted to the outdoors. Our podcast revolves around real-time, in the field experiences. We record in the field to show what actually happens during a hunting and fishing trip. No topic of discussion is of limits. Fresh off a pike fishing trip Aaron and I discuss the inner workings of the mind of a turkey. From making the right call (as in the sounds a turkey makes) and making the right call (the correct decision for the moment), all the way down to decoys and reaping. We give some examples of both and discuss why we believe certain tactics work and what decisions we made and why in specific situations.
This week Aaron and I sit down and go over his experience at pheasant fest. We talk about the American Brittany Rescue and Aaron’s role in spreading the word about it. Other subjects discussed are haunted AirBnbs and Brittany’s vs other dog breeds.

This week we went for a quick morning coyote hunt and realized right away that recording a podcast during a coyote hunt is pretty much impossible if you intend to be successful, so we opted to record while we checked the trap line. I hope our tips for success help you in the coming seasons!

As hunters it’s important to shed positive light on our hobby and lifestyle, but that’s easier said than done. In this weeks episode Aaron and I hang out in the garage and boil his deer head for a sweet euro mount and talk about tips and techniques for introducing the topic of hunting to those who have never experienced it.
