There are renewed calls for major safety improvements on the Clar Road and along the N15 in south Donegal.
There have been ongoing concerns in both areas due to a high volume of junctions.
Some works are due to begin this week on the Lough Eske/Townawilly Intersection with the N15 while assessments are continuing at a number of other problem areas.
Independent Cllr Jimmy Brogan feels that a lot more work will be needed to address a large number of issues:
