BREAKING: Two Navy Aircraft Crash in South China Sea + Trump's Canada Tariff Strike
Two US Navy aircraft from the USS Nimitz crashed in the South China Sea within 30 minutes of each other during routine operations. An MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter and an F-18 Super Hornet both went down on Sunday afternoon. All five crew members were safely recovered. The Navy says there's no indication of hostile engagement, but serious questions remain about military readiness and the aging aircraft carrier on its final deployment.
Plus, President Trump slapped Canada with an additional 10% tariff after Ontario ran a $75 million ad campaign featuring Ronald Reagan criticizing tariffs. The Reagan Foundation called the ad misleading, and Trump terminated all trade negotiations with Canada. When Ontario Premier Doug Ford refused to pull the ad before the World Series weekend, Trump hit back even harder.
