Welcome to the Oddity Shop, where the Bizarre is Always on Sale!  This Week we are opening the doors and sharing YOUR stories back to you

Jamie's story stops us in our tracks—after her grandfather passed away following complications from heart surgery, she received a mysterious text message showing a single Bud Light beer.  Just the day before, Jamie had promised her grandfather they'd share a beer when he got out of the hospital.

Wildlife photographer Jennifer shares how she felt inexplicably drawn to contact the widow of her town's only sports photographer after he passed away. Their meeting led to an instant bond and the widow gifting Jennifer her late husband's professional printer. Now Jennifer feels his presence guiding her as she steps into his role in the community—a touching story of spiritual succession.

We hear about unexplained scratches appearing after a funeral tap from an invisible presence, and Kaylee's vivid sleep paralysis encounters that go far beyond typical experiences.

Have your own odd, strange, or unexplained story? We're waiting to hear it. Call in or write to us—no tale is too small or too strange for The Oddity Shop.

Speaker 1 (00:03):
I want to dance with the mothman at the ID shop,
bathed in the moonlight at theID shop.
Creep through the graveyard tothe ID shop.
The door's always open At theOddity Shop.

(00:29):
What's up, oddballs?
Welcome back to a very specialepisode of the Oddity Shop
podcast where we usually tellyou creepy, odd words, strange
stories from around the world.
But this time, after months andmonths and months and months of

(00:50):
begging for listener write-insand voicemails, we're reading
your oddball stories back to you.
Hello, curator Kara, those arestill stories from around the
globe.
They are.
We're just not the ones telling.
It's not us telling you.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
It's you telling us All right, all right, all right
all right.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
How are you?

Speaker 2 (01:06):
I am fantastic.

Speaker 1 (01:09):
You'll never guess what I did today um stole the
declaration of independence Iwish.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
Okay.
So I shared with zach a fewdays ago that my like health app
thing told me that I um, whatdid it say?
My resting heartbeat haddropped at least like eight,
whatever, basically saying thatI lowered stress.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
And we're so proud of you.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
I am very proud.
I like started crying and Isent it to Zach, and I'm like
you might think this is stupid, even though I know he doesn't,
but I'm like I am just so proudbecause I've been really trying
to reduce my stress.
So, anyway, I bought four books.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
Ooh what books?

Speaker 2 (01:52):
I don't have them by me, I can't tell you Two of them
.
When I was listening toliterally listening to Morbid
this morning, they recommendedtwo books and I was like you
know what, let me do thatbecause Elena is an author and I
love her books.
So if she has a bookrecommendation I'm going to go
read it.
And then Target had buy twobooks, get one free.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
So are they like self-help ish books, or is this
more?

Speaker 2 (02:17):
vampires oh.

Speaker 1 (02:19):
I didn't know if it was like in line with that shit.
No, but I'm just saying butreading reduces stress there you
go.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
Well, I had bought a.
I had bought one book like lastweek and I've been reading that
.
So when I saw that Target hadbuy two books, get one free, I'm
like, OK, well, theyrecommended two books and then.
So I just kind of picked onebook out.
So that's what I've been tryingto do You'll have to give us

(02:45):
like a little book review at thebeginning of the episode.
Girl, I'm not Julia.
Julia should come on here andgive us all her book reviews,
because that girl reads, therewe go.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
She was just reading one that she said we should read
, called Never Whistle in theDark, and it's all four stories.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
Do I not tell you that I've always said don't
whistle in the dark to you, andyou're like why?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
Oh, I thought you meant about the book.
I'm like no, you've never toldme about that.

Speaker 2 (03:01):
But that sounds amazing and I will actually look
that up and read it, becausethat sounds really good.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
There you go.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
OK, well, that's, that's me.
You, what do I?

Speaker 1 (03:08):
have I just had.
I know it's a couple of weeksafter it when this comes out,
but the really nice Fourth ofJuly weekend up north hanging
out with Mark and Denise, theawesome parents, and my sister.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
And your sister doesn't have a name oh, Emily.
Hey Emily.

Speaker 1 (03:24):
And my brother-in-law , Sean.

Speaker 2 (03:25):
There you go.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
It was nice.
We had like a nice really justkind of chill, relaxing weekend
and I kayaked a bunch and I gotsuper sunburned and you failed
the hot dog challenge.
I did.
I had a goal this year ofeating 11.
Last year I did nine and Ithought last year was 10.
Last year was nine.
I went up a couple and I onlygot to seven before I hit a wall
.
But I also, dad, made chickenand pork on the Blackstone.

(03:51):
I couldn't say no, I didn'thave that dog in me.
But you and Delilah did come tothe rescue and each had one.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
So I appreciated that .

Speaker 1 (03:58):
We had corn dogs.
So, as the oddity shot, we hadnine.
Yeah, it was fine, all right, all right?

Speaker 2 (04:04):
Well, let's get into.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
It All right, what's our first story?
Let?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
me get a drink of water, because this is a long
one.
Hoo wee.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
I'll drink with you in solidarity, there you just
had a smoke it's fine had a puff.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
I just sat here and drank my water.
Oh, I thought I literally wasvaped.

Speaker 1 (04:21):
No, I was drinking in solidarity.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Good job, all right, this write-in is from Jamie.
Thank you, jamie.
Are you ready?
Now he's puffing.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
You said it now.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
All right.
Hey guys, I recently stumbledacross your podcast Thanks to
Lauren the Mortician.
Wait, that's awesome.
I did not read this.
You guys.
That's so cool.
I just listened to your podcastabout the digital afterlife and
mysterious messages from beyond.
This really hit home.
As I have had a similarexperience, I would love to

(04:55):
share with y'all.

Speaker 1 (04:56):
I love that episode too.
That was such a creepy Good one.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Okay, March 27th 2008 .
My grandfather suffered amassive heart attack and
required emergency quadruplebypass surgery at the hospital
where I happened to be doingclinicals for my physical
therapy.
Oh God, Can you imagine theearly morning hours of 328,?
They had to reopen his chest tofix a leak as he was losing too

(05:23):
much blood.
Then, after the next day, theypulled out his breathing tube
and he had a stroke.
About a week after that, heexperienced respiratory failure
and required CPR to bring himback to life.
By this time he had atracheostomy performed and also
had a feeding tube placed.
His body was very sensitive tothe tube.

(05:44):
This is important.
Later he was recovering welland on April 18th he was set for
a transfer to the transitionalcare unit, kind of like a
skilled nursing facility withinthe hospital.
After my clinical like everyday he was there I visited him
before I left for the day.
That's actually nice, though, that you were there so that you
could do there.
I visited him before I left forthe day.
That's actually nice, though, that you were there so that you

(06:06):
could do that.
Oh God.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
I hate to say it this way, but you don't have to go
out of your way to do it.
It makes it very convenient forhim to have somebody there,
exactly.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
I had a Dr Pepper with me and he kept gesturing
that he wanted a drink.
I told him no, Pops, you can'thave this.
I'm sorry, but I promise whenyou get out of here we will have
a beer together.
I'm going to start crying, Okay.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Hold it together.

Speaker 2 (06:30):
That seemed to cheer him up, as he grinned and shook
his head.
Yes, nurses then came in theroom and told me that he was
switching units and the new unitwould want to do an assessment
on him when he got there.
So I told them I loved him andI would see him tomorrow, gave

(06:51):
him a kiss and left.
The next morning my mom callsme in a panic, stating that Pops
is in terrible condition and Ineed to get there right away.
Unbeknownst to us, the new unithad changed his tube to another
brand, which caused him to gointo organ failure, respiratory
distress and another heartattack.
Long story short, he passedaway shortly after I arrived.
Okay, but he held on to see you.

Speaker 1 (07:12):
That's so terrible, that is true.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Oh, y'all are trying to make me cry, okay.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
The tears are welling up in her eyes.
For anybody who cannot see her,I'm really drying.

Speaker 2 (07:23):
I keep looking up and like opening my eyes wide so I
can't cry.
Okay, I was completely shocked, devastated and heartbroken.
My mom, her siblings and all mycousins went over to my uncle's
house, but I went home insteadto be by myself.
I felt super guilty for leavinghim the night before and not
staying because I was going tomeet up with friends.

(07:44):
That is not your fault.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
No, no, that is 100% on the hospital.

Speaker 2 (07:50):
Oh God, maybe I could have caught the mess up.
Anyway, I laid down in my couchand I tried to fall asleep.
I tossed and turned, unable tosleep, so I just laid there
motionless staring at theceiling.
Oh God, I have goosebumps.
My cell phone chimed.
A text had been received.
I literally have full bold.
I looked at my phone and it wasfrom my aunt, laura, who is

(08:11):
married to my mom's brother, whose house everyone was at.
I opened the message and it wasa picture of a single Bud Light
beer in a cooler with watereddown ice in it.
I thought, oh, that's weird anddecided to drive over and be
with everyone I get to theirhouse and I asked my aunt what
was up with the picture.
She texted me she had no ideawhat I was talking about.

(08:33):
I showed her my phone and shesays I didn't send that.
I don't even know how to usethe camera on this phone, let
alone to send a picture from it.
Oh my God.
Mind you, this was about thetime cell phones just started
having cameras on them asstandard.
I checked her phone zeropictures and zero text messages
to me.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
That is so wild.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Then it dawned on me, my grandpa drank Bud Light.
This was his way ofcommunicating with me about
having that beer together whenhe got out of the hospital,
because he was actually out ofthe hospital and I think too,
like he, that was a.
The way it came from the aunt'sphone was like a way to get her

(09:16):
to get out of her head and go bewith the family exactly because
if it would have came like, say, from his phone, it would have
been a different story.
So right, oh my god, it stillchokes me up to this day to
share this experience I had thepictures.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
If it would have came like say from his phone.

Speaker 2 (09:29):
It would have been a different story, right?
Oh my God, it still chokes meup to this day to share this
experience.
I had the picture.
We're choked up too.
I can't.
I had the picture saved in anold email for years, but it has
since been deactivated, so Ilost the picture.
Oh, I really wish I would havedone more due diligence to
keeping it safe or that it wouldbe mysteriously sent to me
again.
I have other stories similar tothis with loved ones
communicating via electronics.
If you'd like to hear them.
Hello, why did you not sound?

Speaker 1 (09:50):
them.
Uh, yeah, no, Jamie, we want tohear them, all of them, in fact
.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Oh my god, you can use the story as you'd like.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Wow, thank you, jamie , because that is that's a deep
one for sure.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
But no, that's, it is so that mixes both of our
episodes the call beyond thegrave and then the email, one
kind of yes, like a text message, video or whatever picture
message it's interesting howspirit has the ability to like,
manipulate electronics, and Ithink we've seen enough of it,
though, that it's like but Ilove what you said because it's
like it came from the aunt, soit's kind of like it was almost
like a hey and nudge, like alittle thing, like hey, come on
over, we're celebrating it'stime to be with fam

(10:30):
yeah, and if it would have camelike from him, it would have
been more of like a freak out ohI, I'm just chilling up so hard
.
It would have been more of likea holy shit type of deal,
versus her just going therehaving fun with her family to
celebrate his life and thenbeing like, oh, I did say when
he got out of that hospital Iwas going to have that beer.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
And Jamie, I'm so sorry that you don't have that
picture anymore, but if it everwould make it up to you, we'll
have a Bud Light with you.
You reach out to us, I would100%.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Where are you?
Where do you live?
Do you know what I would do ifI were you?
I don't know if you're a tattooperson.
This is so what I would do.
What I would do is I would getlike a polaroid.
I would get a tattoo that lookslike a polaroid picture yeah,
and then a bud light can in itand then like empty cooler or a
water down cooler.
No, I think I would just do thebud light can in a like polaroid
looking picture there you gowhatever, do whatever you

(11:20):
perfect.
I think that'd be so freakingcute.
Somebody draw that for jamie.
Put it in the comments thankyou, jamie, appreciate you thank
you so much and I love it thatyou found us from lauren, that's
so fun all right, you ready forthe next one?

Speaker 1 (11:33):
this is give it to me a listener voicemail oh hell,
let's go have their voice going.
This is from jennifer, so we'reto drop that in right now.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Okay, so I moved to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
and I am a wildlife photographerand I decided I saw some really
cool sports photos on TikTokand so I decided I was going to
buy some off-camera flash andtry to recreate these TikTok
photos that I've seen.
So I made my kids go outsideand we made some really cool

(12:06):
sports photos with the fog andall that.
Well, I was in clinicals forrespiratory therapy and we got
called down for a code blue andit happened to be the only
sports photographer in our area.
Well, I had this really crazyfeeling that he wasn't going to

(12:26):
make it and I had a feeling thatmy phone was going to blow up
after that, which I wasn't readybecause I was a wildlife
photographer and I wasn't tryingto pursue any anything with
dealing with the public.
So, unfortunately, that personpassed away.
I'm going to call him Mr Blackand honestly, that's what

(12:47):
happened to me is my phone blewup and I started getting all
these bookings and peoplewanting me to do all these
sports photos, all thesebookings and people wanting me
to do all these sports photos.
So some weird feeling came overme that I needed to call Mr
Black's wife.
I had no idea.
I've never met her.
I don't even know why.
I don't even know what I wasgoing to even say to this woman.
She just lost her husband and Ijust kept having this feeling

(13:10):
that I needed to call her.
So I got a phone number fromsomebody and they told me that
that was her number.
So it took me a couple of daysbut I finally sat down and I was
ready to call her.
So I called the number and Ididn't even know what I was
going to say to her but ended upbeing disconnected.
So I decided, well, maybe it'sjust not that time.

(13:30):
So three days later she callsme.
I didn't even know if she knewwho I was because, like I said,
I just moved here from downstateand she asked me to come over.
Okay, so here's part two,because I didn't know if I was
at my three minutes.
So Mr Black's widow has me comeover to her house and we sit
down.

(13:50):
I have no idea what this isgoing to be about or what it's
going to be like, but she justtold me that she's heard all
about me and she feels like shewanted to meet me.
And we seriously sat there andcried and laughed and we totally
bonded and she said well, Iwant to give you something.

(14:13):
So she takes me back to hisoffice and she gave me his
printer.
And I'm telling you, this thingis giant, it's a giant photo
printer.
And she blessed me Like it justfelt like that he would have
wanted her to do this and eversince then her and I have been
super close and I feel him withme all the time when I'm doing

(14:37):
all these sports photos and it'sdefinitely some big shoes to
fill, but I just think it's kindof interesting how I was there
when he passed away and I hadthose feelings of connecting
with this woman and now we havean amazing bond and she tells me
she's my adopted grandma.
But I just thought I'd sharethat story with you.

Speaker 1 (14:59):
That is so weird to me.

Speaker 3 (15:02):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
And the way that, like he, it seems like two such
like disconnected things, butsomehow it feels like maybe you
were finding your calling withthe photos more and he just kind
of gave you that push that, butalso like it's.

Speaker 2 (15:19):
It's kind of like reincarnation to me, but not
from birth.
Oh, okay, like he died and thenshe took over his like oh, I
don't know if I want to saylegacy, but like, and that's why
there's such a bond with herand his wife.

Speaker 1 (15:34):
I also love that.
I'm like I don't know how hegot.
She got Jen's number Right, buthow like?
It's almost like he facilitated, you know you were new to the
area.
She needed a friend you know, obviously she's lost her husband
like kind of facilitated a goodlittle relationship.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
Oh, I love that.
That's so sweet, though, because you know that that
printer probably holds him in it.
You know what I mean in someway, and so he's probably, like
she said, like kind of watchingover and like guiding, like the
photos, like I like it okay, solike that technology trend going
we do so.
The first, though, when I wasfirst listening, I thought she
said not sports photos.

(16:15):
I thought she said stork photos, and I'm like, oh god, here we
go.
Is this gonna be like a bird?
And then I was like, oh, sportsokay that makes sense.

Speaker 1 (16:25):
Oh, as long as it's not sandhill cranes.

Speaker 2 (16:26):
I know that's what I was thinking, though, for you,
and then, like I was like soengrossed in the voicemail that
she said like I'm thinking myphone's gonna blow up.
I thought she actually meantthat her physical phone was
gonna fucking blow up and then Iwas like oh no too literal cara
too literal, I was like reallyinto the voicemail though that
was crazy, though I love thatthat's a fun one.

(16:47):
Yeah, I wonder if the rest ofour stories are going to be
electronic related we'll see,we'll see okay, so this next one
comes from spooky?
no, it does not yes, it does it.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
Oh, it does.

Speaker 2 (16:58):
This is an alias one okay, it comes from spooky scary
skeleton yes, the spooky, scaryskeleton, I love it so the
subject is wacky funeralexperience.
Okay, we already talked aboutlauren the mortician, so let's
see if this is something likethat.
All right, I was gonna say thislooks like a short one and it
literally says this is a shortlittle story.

(17:21):
I was at a funeral when itstarted.
While there, I could have sworn.
Someone tapped me on my side.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
Nope.

Speaker 2 (17:34):
When I look around.
No one was close enough to meto have done it.
On the drive home, I noticedsome red on my thigh.
I discovered two scratches, onearound four to five inches and
running on my thigh and around, and another shorter one one inch
closer to my knee.
And they were what this?
I'm sorry, this is reallythrowing me off.

(18:01):
That's so scary that I don'tknow if I think it's scary, okay
, okay, we'll finish it up andthen let's discuss.
And they were deep scratches, like they should have been
stinging or maybe bleeding, butinstead the area was numb, kind
of trippy.
Okay, what's your thought?
Just somebody trying to gettheir attention?

Speaker 1 (18:13):
I think that's exactly it, and I think, even in
the way this is written, it'swritten as wacky funeral
experience, so even the personwho wrote this doesn't seem to
be afraid of it, and I thinkthis is one of those things
where, when spirit is trying togive us a sign, especially if
this is the person they werevisiting, who is a rather fresh
spirit, they don't know, theymight not know how to

(18:36):
communicate yet, and what if youknow, you're just trying to put
your hand on their leg and youend up scratching or something
like that.
Like, and it doesn't seem thatthe person took it as like a
horrifying experience oranything yeah, uh, I know you
haven't watched supernatural, but this is just going to my
head.

Speaker 2 (18:49):
There's this whole thing about like the longer
you're a spirit, the better youcan like actually like do things
and like pick things up andhold things.
The fresher spirits like don'thave that much of an ability, so
they kind of like do stuff likethis, or they need to attach
themselves to an object that wastheirs and that's the only way
that they're able to come alongwith you so that kind of makes

(19:11):
sense.

Speaker 1 (19:12):
Yeah, actually it.
Does you gotta get used to nothaving a body, I imagine?

Speaker 2 (19:15):
well, yeah, because you've never had to like tap
into those quote-unquoteabilities, like you're just soul
.
It's just soul and around.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
You know solo, you're solo and around all right,
spooky, scary skeleton, if youhave a follow-up.
Have you had any moreinteractions since?
This one, because I know we gotthis right in a little while
ago, so if you got that followup, you got to hit us with it
Please.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Okay, so we have another voicemail.

Speaker 1 (19:44):
I'm loving this.
I love hearing your guys'svoices on here too.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
We need more of the voicemails.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
We hear enough of it.
All right, I got to edit it all.

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Yeah, this is from Kaylee.
Okay, are you ready?

Speaker 1 (19:56):
I'm ready.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
Hi, zach and Kara.
This is Kaylee from Portage andI wanted to start off with
saying thank you so much for theshout out on your last episode.
I literally was so happy.
That meant so much to me.
I have fallen in love with yourguys' podcasts ever since.
I listened to Lunar Lunacybecause I'm obsessed with the

(20:18):
moon, and I was sold ever sincethen and I was actually
recommended that episode by someold family friends of yours,
zach, if you remember James andRaquel Russell, and I've been
working with him doing modelingfor his photography for a few
years now.
I know his kids, sean and Sarah, and I just thought I would
share working with him doingmodeling for his photography for
a few years now.
I know his kids, sean and Sarah, and I just thought I would

(20:39):
share that with you because it'sjust so cool how small the
world is sometimes.
But really, why I'm callingtoday is because I listened to
your Shadow People and SleepParalysis episode and I have a
few sleep paralysis stories ofmy own to share.
And, as a little side notebefore I get into some of those

(20:59):
stories, I do see shadow catssometimes, zach, so don't always
write them off.
I strongly believe that I amseeing my childhood cat, olivia,
and it always just warms mysoul when I see her Definitely a
lot less terrifying than someof my sleep paralysis episodes
are.
I have been having sleepparalysis since 2017, when I

(21:24):
left for college when I wasabout 18 years old, and I've
been having them on and off eversince then and in that whole
time I've never actually seenthe Hat man or the Old Hag.
I've seen many different shadowpeople and even a clown once,
but never the Hat man or the OldHag, so I think that's really

(21:46):
interesting.
I wonder why it's different foreveryone, or why I saw some of
the things that I saw which I'llget into more in part two when
I send that to you guys, becauseI definitely had some really
spooky stories that make me evenquestion if it's sleep
paralysis.
But every time I do get sleepparalysis, I have the same exact
feeling in my body overall.

(22:07):
It's not always just a weighton my chest.
I feel it start in my legs andin my arms, where my whole body
can't move.
I can't scream or anything.
It's so bizarre and I can'twait to share some of those
stories with you.
So I'll call you back and letyou guys hear about those in
part two.
So whenever I get sleepparalysis episodes, it's not

(22:31):
always just a weight or apressure I feel on my chest
episode.
It's not always just a weightor a pressure I feel on my chest
.
I can feel the paralysis set in, first through my legs, then up
through my arms, my whole body,to where I can't scream, move
or anything right.
And there was one instancewhere the paralysis set in and I
looked around my room and itwas filling with water and I

(22:54):
could feel my body being draggedinto the water, thrashed around
.
I couldn't breathe, as if I wasdrowning.
But looking at my physical body, I wasn't moving, I was fully
stuck in paralysis.
But I felt all the sensationsof drowning.
So that one was definitelyreally scary.
But these next two still giveme chills.

(23:16):
I was over at a friend's houseone night and I was sleeping in
her bed with her and I had theside that faced out into the
rest of her room and there was awindow further down the wall,
on the same wall where my headwas facing, and there was a
white curtain on the window thatstarted billowing in the room

(23:36):
from the wind and in the fabricof that curtain was a sheer
woman in white and she startedmoving from the end of the
curtain up to the window.
And when she got to the windowshe turned her head, looked at
me and I felt her pounce onto meand crush my body and start

(23:57):
whispering incoherently into myear.
And it went on like that for afew minutes.
I got up after it stopped, checked the window and it wasn't
open.
There was no way the curtaincould have been moving, so that
one freaked me out, and thislast one still gets me too.
I used to sleep with one AirPodin my ear for some music and as

(24:21):
I was falling into sleep I couldhear out of my other ear in the
bathroom like the bathtub watersounded to be like bubbling and
thrashing.
And then all of a sudden, inthe ear that had my music
playing, the music stopped.
I heard a little girlwhispering, again incoherently.
I couldn't tell what she wassaying, but as soon as the

(24:43):
whispering started I felt like Iwas being lifted out of my body
.
Yet I could still see in myparalysis that it was not moving
, but it felt like I was beingpulled to sit up.
And as soon as I was sitting,or feeling like I was sitting
upright.
It stopped, so I'm not surewhat those were.
Definitely creeped me out.

(25:04):
It seems a little bit differentfrom like typical sleep
paralysis, but I thought I'dshare those stories with you
guys because I get chills.
But thank you guys again, andif you need me to type out these
stories instead of doingvoicemail, I can certainly do
that.
So take care.
Thanks for listening.
Bye.

Speaker 1 (25:23):
Well, that was a journey, Whoa.
That's a lot.

Speaker 2 (25:29):
First off, she caught me off guard when she said
sometimes she says a clown I wasthinking about that.

Speaker 1 (25:35):
What was the hobo clown uh?

Speaker 2 (25:37):
I don't remember, but listen, no, absolutely not.
And what is it with her andwater?

Speaker 1 (25:43):
I don't know, but I love that you like.
Those are all horrifyingexperiences that you just read
in the most bubbly voice ever.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
She really did.
I was like what are we?

Speaker 1 (25:51):
I'm like horrified listening, but that's how you
know, it happens to her a lot.

Speaker 2 (25:56):
Yeah, she's just like used to it.
That's so funny, though, howshe knows people that like.
That's so crazy.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
And no, kaylee, keep calling them in, Do not have to
write them out or anything likethat.
We love hearing it and alsolove the russells, so thanks for
the shout out for them, becausethey are amazing human beings.
I do love this small world ofit.

Speaker 2 (26:15):
It is such a small world but I'm like that was like
all over the place.
But also, what I do want to sayis like, because she made it a
point to say that she's likeit's not typical sleep paralysis
.
But right, I think if youactually look into sleep
paralysis, there people justpick out the more commonality of
it all.
So I don't, I don't think thatit's not typical, if that makes

(26:36):
sense.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
Now, what I do think that I mean, is there anything
typical in the paranormal?

Speaker 2 (26:41):
No, but what I do think that we could get from
this is that this might not belike the um scientific, whatever
clinical version of sleepparalysis, where this might just
actually be something else, like this really could be
visitation all just straight upparanormal yeah, sorry girl if

(27:01):
you ever kind of figure out whatthe message is they're trying
to relay, let us know but also Iwonder why it started like it
didn't start till she went tocollege either oh yeah, I kind
of forgot about.
I don't know that's so weird,but I'm wondering what the water
is, because two of thosestories were water like drowning
and then the bathtub.
So I'm like, what is it?
Is there something that you'relike suppressing about water?
Or like a family thing yeah, oh, you should look into that yes,

(27:24):
let us know if you do look intoit.
We have to know what you findout and also if you want to
write more stuff into us, youcan too, please we always need
more.

Speaker 1 (27:32):
We love doing these, we love sharing your stories.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
Back, we need more of it, more fun.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
I like it okay, so that was it.
We had two voicemails, twostories for you this week.
We already have one on deck.
So, with that being said, callin, write in.
If it's any of our prompts, from our episodes, awesome.
If you just want to share yourown spooky, odd, weird, strange,
bizarre tale, uh, share that aswell, because we love.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
Honestly, I think people overthink what we're
asking.
You can tell us anything, evenif you don't think it's, if it's
just like a conspiracy thatyou've thought, even if it's
about your grandma, if it'sabout like just this weird thing
about your family, like it doesnot have to be, what's the?

Speaker 1 (28:17):
weirdest thing you believe in.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Right, it doesn't have to be like this theatrical
thing, and I think that's whereour listeners are probably
stopping themselves from sharingsome of their things.
It does not have to be that.
I promise you.
We talk about so many things inthis podcast.
We will literally read anything.
We want to hear everything thatyou guys have to tell us Truly.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
I second all that.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
Yeah, and, like I was just telling Zach, today I
reached out to our good friendLauren Hans, because I just
before, while we were recording,I said I just have this feeling
all day that I've needed totext her and I have to stop
pushing those away, even if youget stuff like that, and then I
text her and she's like girl, yeah, I just had to set some
crazy boundaries with somebody.
Thanks for checking in and I'mlike I got you boo boo.

(29:00):
So even if you get weird stufflike that and it just always
happens.

Speaker 1 (29:03):
Trust your intuition, but then tell us about it.

Speaker 2 (29:06):
Let us know, Even if you got some tea.
If you have some family dirt wedon't have to share, you can
just email us.

Speaker 1 (29:13):
Okay Now Kara just wants to hear all your nosy.
I want to hear everything.
She's just being nosy.
I want to hear all the littlestories.

Speaker 2 (29:19):
They hear everything about us.
I want to hear about ourlisteners.

Speaker 1 (29:22):
Very true, and if you want it to be like like, don't
share, we won't share it, justlet us know, alrighty.
Well, there we go.
You guys know what you have todo for us.
We would love it.
And what else do we need to doto close out this little bonus
episode?

Speaker 2 (29:36):
Well, what I do want to add is that I've been working
really hard on our TikToks.
So if you don't already followus on TikTok, follow us on
TikTok, because I've been doinga lot of work.

Speaker 1 (29:46):
She's going to train me soon, guys, don't worry.

Speaker 2 (29:48):
It's okay, he doesn't want to do it and it's all
right.
I think it's fun.
But, yes, I'm going to make himdo some stuff.
But I've been working hard onTikTok.
So if you have a TikTok, followus, but also follow us on all
the other things.
But the most important thingyou can do for us is to creep
Goodbye.
