Today, I got daryl moore withme and I got tim scott, my dad
and man.
We're just gonna shoot a littleupdate video.
See what's all going on.
Uh, you know, we just got backfrom road to pro.
There's some tough fishing.
We're learning some stuff,though.
Uh, really is great stuff,though a lot of interesting
things are happening on thefishing world right now.

I would say fishing in generalright now is very tough, so if
you don't know what you're doing, you're not catching nothing,
so you're probably gonna watchus struggle in this first little
bit here, that's what I'm doing, catching nothing.

Oh dude, I'm struggling all the way yeah,
that was that first road to prowas tough like I feel.
Like I mean we went, went twolakes, went lake fort and then
to distract the darbone and lakefort, uh was tough, it's not
hyped up what.

I mean you got in the fish, butme and tim were over there

year to fish, and we're fishingwith tyler stewart.
He's teaching us how to do itand we're trying to learn, but
we're also not doing very good.

I think we're learning at thetoughest part of the year,
though you know too.

so we should be, we should, should be good after all
this Just ask yourselves thisokay, how would we be doing if
the fishing was good?
The fish were biting, I thinkwe'd have bigger bags, for sure.

But it's well.
We got 11, 12-pound bags.
I mean, it's tough fishingScraping them.
Yeah, we're not that bad of afisherman, but it seems like we
are yeah, I don't know.

Maybe we are good, maybe we arebad you guys got to watch the
series when they come out.
We're gonna be releasing thatjanuary, so definitely keep your
eyes peeled for that.
Let's talk about some otherthings that uh, just recently
happened.

Like you just came back from florida, yeah, so yeah
, last week I uh we got doneroad to pros and I flew out to
icast.
Um, if you don't know whatICAST is, it's the Super Bowl of
the fishing world down inOrlando.
So got to go down there, playedin the golf tournament Yeti has
a big golf tournament, fishingholes, and it was a real big
good time.
Everybody, like industry, wasthere Got to play with Jacob

Wheeler MDJ.
Did they give you any fishingtips?
Oh, they gave me a lot offishing tips, you know we can
talk about some of those too,but we gotta give them a five
pound penalty on the next one.

and talk to a couple of those guys and kind of tell
them we had going.
So you know the road to proscene.
They loved it, they thought itwas gonna be something big, you
know, and I think hopefullymaybe get those guys out there,

You know we were fishing a lot of those golf
course puns.
And like the day before beforeJacob got there and MJ, I was
fishing him and I caught likesix fish, you know, and I was
like hitting like 12 puns, yeah.
So then our numbers were notgood and so I'm like, golly,
maybe I suck a little bit atfishing than I on my team.
Obviously they're the ones thatfish and I'll be the one to

And dude, they weren't catchingfish at first and I'm like,
maybe I don't suck as bad as Ithought.

You know they end up walking him and Mark.
So the rules were you had tofish the pond on whatever hole
that we're fishing holes Really.
Yeah, that's cool.
There's only five holes.
You can fish on L13 to playgolf, so we got to like and they
put us on hole one, soeverybody got to fish all the
ponds before we ever got to anyof them.
So we're like we got screwedanyway because they they didn't

see any bait, and so like we,finally we get to a pond and
they're looking at it andthey're like, they're like
they're strategizing, they'relike they're pulling baits out
of the box.
This bait falls like this I beteverybody's already done this.
I'm'm sitting there like, oh myGod, there's a lot more of this

They're cutting stuff like oh my God, who taught this

They're breaking leader lines.

They were taking it serious and I'm like y, the pond
is like right here.

Next thing I know I see thesedudes going across the road,
across the bridge, and I'm likewhere y'all going?
They're like well, the rulessay we gotta fish a pond and
there's a creek.
Wow, really wow.
That's the difference betweenguys that are like bro that's

guys that are serious about it.
They literally look straight atthe points like the fish are
over there and literally wentacross the road and started
catching fish.
I wonder why they thought I meanthey were just, I mean like
literally, looked at the points,like the fish aren't there.
They're down this creek rightnow.
How do you know that?
As boom, you hear him yellinggot one golly man.
What made him think of that?

And the dude's like nobody hascaught a fish on this whole day
that's insane, crazy man.
If he might as well figure itout.
I mean, yeah, they catch onethere, catch two, um, and I
ended up.
I birdied the hole.
So then we ended up getting atwo on a par five because they
caught two fish.
You take two strokes off ohyeah, yeah.

So that's cool tournament.

So they were like then, all of a sudden, we oh, we
actually got a chance to winthis thing, yeah we got this,
we're not.
How'd you guys finish?
I think we ended up fourth.
Fourth we shot 11 under and wegot fourth.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
That's not bad, but definitely because we caught the
most fishes while we finished.
Well, somebody could play somereally good golf, five fish, oh
wow you think they were in aposition, just a better part of
the, uh, yeah, well they got to,so they got to hole 17, which
the best point on the wholecourse before we did they really

the group in front was, and oneof these in their team is a
fisherman too yeah, so, like hejust started, so the whole
tournament was focused aroundfishing and golfing.

Yeah, so it's pretty cool, so it'd be decent above
yeah, the thing was like if it'sfish is not good or you're not
good at golf, you can stillenjoy it and fish it's time to
take like the stress out of itoh, that's pretty cool.
So it was cool.
They had like a card goingaround and uh, did jacob play?
Golf, or I mean yeah, he played, yeah, they played golf oh,
they do play golf no, not likethat but he just started.
Oh yeah, so he wasn't justhorrible.

He wasn't, he was great but he's so competitive he
kind of reminds me of y'allbecause he's like.
So I got to figure this outLike I'm not losing.

I sat in the yeti booth for,like you know, 15 minutes or

I mean, people just walk up andlike asking that and like it's

card well, I feel that way withfishing, especially with Lasko,
I think I think we're down inthe dumps right now.

particular boat, and it was justsomething that we'd never

So got to go down there, playedin the golf tournament Yeti has
a big golf tournament, fishingholes, and it was a real big
good time.

So they were like then, all of a sudden, we oh, we
actually got a chance to winthis thing, yeah we got this,

How'd you guys finish?
I think we ended up fourth.
Fourth we shot 11 under and wegot fourth.

That's not bad, but definitely because we caught the
most fishes while we finished.
Well, somebody could play somereally good golf, five fish, oh
wow you think they were in aposition, just a better part of
the, uh, yeah, well they got to,so they got to hole 17, which
the best point on the wholecourse before we did they really

the group in front was, and oneof these in their team is a
fisherman too yeah, so, like hejust started, so the whole
tournament was focused aroundfishing and golfing.

Yeah, so it's pretty cool, so it'd be decent above
yeah, the thing was like if it'sfish is not good or you're not
good at golf, you can stillenjoy it and fish it's time to
take like the stress out of itoh, that's pretty cool.

people just don't really slowdown enough to just really pay
attention to the boat.

And we were talking earlier this week because you
know we're just beating andbanging on it all week long
figuring stuff out and you knowwe even.
I remember we said at one pointit's like people would
understand boats a lot more ifthey understood water better.
You know, it's not necessarilythe boats you got to think about
, you know, because a boat issimple.
You know you got the bottom ofthe boat, you got different

designs and stuff and it affectsthe water differently, but you
got to understand the water.
If you want to understand howwater works, then I mean you can
get your boat running, you knowit's like a dam, you know the
water goes to the dam yeah, youcould do a lot of things with
water when it's

pressurized like that , so a boat's no different.
That boat's on top of the water.
Yep, how she rides on the wateris how it's set up, you know.
So it's crazy, uh, waterpressures and lift and props and
tilt angle, and even the tiltangle of the prop in the water,
what it does.
There's so much to it, but thisvideo that we're building right

now, though, is pretty unique.
It's a little different.
It's crazy what we actuallyfound out, the issue with this
particular boat, and it was justsomething that we'd never
really paid attention to.

Yeah, boat, and it was just something that uh, we'd

We've never ran into this issueand not fixed it by a different
course of action, like we fixedthis issue with itself.
I mean what you got to watch avideo to really make this make

was doing that.

Yes, yes, you just really broke into it.
Took us three days yeah, it wasthree days going to like
running, making adjustments,looking at, looking at the
situation, not understanding thesituation.
Uh, adding weight, take awaynow whatever, um, you know
setting.
You know you guys beenlistening to our podcast where
we talk about the bounce pointof the boat, shifting it back,

then building your boat withyour trolling motors or whatnot,
uh, so we break this down thewhole way, uh, kind of showing
you guys, uh, the steps of doingthis.

And we ran into a problem we did a problem and it
stumped us.
It did for for about a day anda half a day and a half.
It stumped us we tried fixingit with different things, and
you know there, and we justcouldn't get it out.
It has to be something thatdoesn't usually happen.

I don't think we slept for two days.

I remember at the end of day two we're like I'm
thinking, dude, I don't evenknow what I know and don't know.

I'm, like my brain is so messed up right now that I'm

So we explained to her.
She's like that's weird.

problem like we're shooting a setup video here,
like we know what we're doing.
I mean I would say, I would say, we know a good thing or two
about boats.

then we run into this problemand we're all like well, we
picked the most odd situation.

We're like okay, we're gonna run this motor with
this boat yeah I mean, it'sdefinitely a hard setup and we
kind of did that on purpose.
But we're thinking, damn, thisis hard I was like man yeah so
what the world?
It's always it's.
It's interesting because youknow you build all these boats.
You got all these and differentprops and everything else, and

I'm convinced that props arebuilt around problems.

I think somebody develops a prop based off of
problems instead of fixing theproblem.

Yeah, like hey, I got this problem.
Let me build this prop.

I need to hold more water or I need to release more
water.
I need to lift the back of theboat because the boat's doing
something.
It's definitely.

And the technology and the turndowns is such a
