It's October once again and Casual Chats is going in a spooky direction with Old Spook Lane Creepy Chats for the third time. In this episode, Arun and Patricia discuss about the 2024 horror comedy film Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, the long awaited sequel to the 1988 film Beetlejuice directed by Tim Burton. Taking place 36 years since the original, Lydia Deetz is now a full grown adult who has a very successful TV series where she talks to people who are haunted by ghosts. However, she has an strained relationship with her daughter Astrid. When they receive news that Lydia's father Charles had passed away, they return to the old house by Winter River for the funeral. Meanwhile in the Afterlife, Beetlejuice receives news that his ex-wife Delores is after him for revenge. When the film premiered in theaters, it made over $377 million dollars out of a $100 million dollar budget receiving mixed to positive reviews from critics and fans. Was it worth the 36 year wait?
