An estimated 1 in 5 college students experiences food insecurity, and that statistic doesn't stop at College Station city limits. The reality is that food insecurity is more widespread than we assume it to be, but The 12th Can is on a mission to lighten those burdens in Aggieland.
As a student run food pantry on campus, their mission is to provide access to nutritional food, hygiene items and more to students, staff and faculty at Texas A&M University. With friendly service, neighborly love and a dedicated force of Aggie volunteers - the 12th can is fighting food insecurity through awareness and selfless service every time someone steps through the pantry doors.
