Step into the shadow-filled world of cryptozoology and paranormal investigation with Robert and Steven from Bigfoot Club, two researchers who've spent decades pursuing the unexplained. Robert shares his background as a former investigator with the Texas Bigfoot Research Center and case director for a paranormal group, while nephew Steven recounts the childhood experiences that shaped his perspective on the supernatural—from terrifying nights in the woods to unexplainable encounters that still give him goosebumps.

The conversation takes a particularly haunting turn when both men share parallel experiences of encountering the same ghostly hospital patient while Robert was critically ill. Steven describes seeing an elderly man sitting in an empty room who vanished within seconds, while Robert later reveals spotting the same mysterious figure walking with an IV stand during the night—only to learn from nurses that no mobile patients were on that floor.

Beyond the spine-tingling tales, Robert offers fascinating scientific insights into how materials like limestone, quartz, and water serve as conductors for paranormal energy, and why locations near electrical connections often experience the most supernatural activity. Their approach to Bigfoot research proves equally methodical, focusing on water sources and using electrical right-of-ways as tracking opportunities across counties.

What elevates this discussion is the balance between genuine investigation and compassionate understanding. For Robert and Steven, paranormal research isn't about proving skeptics wrong—it's about helping witnesses process unexplainable experiences and providing a therapeutic outlet for those who feel alone in what they've seen. Whether you're a longtime believer or a curious skeptic, their perspectives offer both comfort and compelling reasons to reconsider what might be lurking just beyond our understanding.

Bigfoot Club.
Now I know that all of ourlisteners know who you are
because I was on your podcastand I'm confident everyone
listened to that.
But just in case we have somenew listeners, why don't you
tell us what you guys do?

(02:59):
Bigfoot Club is a podcast.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Bigfoot Club is a podcast Give us the summary of
why you're interested in BigfootClub, why you do a podcast
about it and where you're atwith it currently.
Okay, I started it in.

(03:22):
Was it 2019?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Yeah, 2019.
You were a year before us whenwe started in 2019?
Yeah, 2019.

Speaker 4 (03:26):
You were a year before us, when we started in 20
.

Speaker 5 (03:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:29):
Yeah, so we started in 2019.
I used to be a Bigfootresearcher for a group here in
Texas, north Texas, called TexasBigfoot Research Center, and so
when I started, it was like thelate 90s, early 2000s.
I was probably like in my 30sand Steven was always with me
all the time is my nephew, so Iused to take him out on outings

(03:51):
all the time so he would go withme.
He's actually done more.
He's actually been in the woodsmore than some of the other
Bigfoot researchers.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
Wouldn't that be fun to go in the woods and try to
find Bigfoot?

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I feel like that's a jam.
It wasn't fun when you're sevenyears old it's terrifying.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Yeah, he was.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
He was pretty terrified because I, you know,
like I was a kid and I was like,oh my god, bigfoot's existed.
What I thought, it was like anurban legend.
Yeah, you know he was he was hewas.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
He was pretty scared a lot but I had to reassure him
all the time that I go hey, you're gonna be okay, bigfoot's
not that violent at least Idon't think he would always do
that every time yeah so I usedto be a bigfoot researcher and
then I was a case director for aparanormal group here in uh
north texas as well uh called uhparanormal investigations of

(04:42):
north tex.
So I was a case director forthem for 10 years.
I was recruited by KendallRubio and so I've done a little
bit of Bigfoot and theparanormal and so the podcast is
like our version of justcritiquing people now.
So I kind of equate it as thesports illustrated for the like

(05:05):
the cryptids and like theparanormal.
So I've done a bunch ofresearch and like in the field
I've done, you know, x, y and z,and so it's our way of kind of
like critiquing other people orjust kind of bringing people who
had experiences on like to ourshow and kind of just like
explain their, their situationand try to help them out, at

(05:26):
least steven.
What do you think?

Speaker 3 (05:28):
yeah, I think we, we kind of give them different
avenues of uh and thoughtprocess of why they witnessed it
, you know, because they're alllike I was just camping, I don't
know what I, what I did wrongand I don't know why it was
angry.
I mean, you know, there's acouple reasons why.
Uh, you know stuff like that,or if they just built new
property on on a, like a landand stuff, and then this you

(05:49):
know all these this change, thismassive change to their
environment.
You know you kind of just buildproperty on on a bigfoot's like
living room so of course they'regoing to be like curious or
aggressive or whatever.
So we kind of you know pinpoint, you know ask questions of you
know what day it was, was it atnight?

(06:10):
Was it a day, you know, did youhave any food out?
And you're burning trash stufflike that.
So we we're like I guess we'reso resourceful on that when it
comes to like that, because Imean they don't.
You know these people.
They didn't ask to witness.
You know to like that becausethey don't.
You know these people.
They didn't ask to witness.
You know situations like that, absolutely yeah.
They don't, you know, they'reterrified and they're talking,

(06:32):
you know, talking out loud andit makes them sound they feel
crazy, you know, and theyshouldn't, because they saw
something that is unexplainable.
So I think, yeah, we're, Ithink we're kind of therapeutic.

Speaker 4 (06:43):
Yeah, a little bit.
Yeah, A little bit, yeah, causewe let them know I was like hey
, it wasn't your fault, you knowit's so happens.
So I wanted to add on as wellsince I was with the TBRC and
the uh Pentex I I've interviewedhundreds and hundreds of people
and and sometimes I would bringcases home and I would talk to

(07:07):
Steven about it, about this, orhey, uh, they saw this on.
You know this, this part of theriver, this part of the lake or
this part of the creek, and sowe we kind of like bounce stuff
off each other and so at a veryyoung age he's got he, he was
like, uh, you know, he was rightin that, that.
Think of it, of just likefinding out I was a sponge.
Yeah, you were like a sponge, and stuff.

Speaker 2 (07:25):
So and you liked it, but you were scared of it at the
same time I was terrified.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
It like I wanted to be like, uh, not in the front
lines, like I wanted to be inlike a command center in a van
that was safe uh, that was fullyarmed, just in case.
But no, like I, I was just atthe same time I wanted to be
close to my uncle, just in casesomething happened, I don't know
.
Just at the same time, I wantedto be close to my uncle, just
in case something happened.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
I don't know why, I'm a kid he, you know he says all
that he was scared.
But there's been like manytimes where we were like in, uh,
you know, native american, uh,tribal area and I would get out
of the vehicle at night to go dosomething, and we had some,
like some people with us to gowhere you going and steven would
just jump out of the car andjust jump, just run with me

(08:07):
because I want to be with myuncle, you know, in case
something happens yeah, likebecause at the time you know,
safe right like you were at thetime.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
I didn't know, like anyone, you know, if something
were to happen to him.
I'm like there's other stuff inthe woods snakes there's,
there's's other types of stuffthat I could help him walk on.
Bigfoot.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
I don't know.

Speaker 3 (08:29):
Yeah, this one, I think at that instant we're in
Oklahoma.
Right, we're in Concho Concho,Oklahoma.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
So I know there's coyotes out there and all that
stuff, but yeah, I was like no,I want to be right next to him,
just in case something happens.
You know that's all it is.

Speaker 4 (08:44):
So it's basically we just like to talk about the
subject and we talk about otherstuff.
Like you know, when weinterviewed you you know you
didn't have anything withBigfoot, I just was.
I was interested in yourpodcast she did have something
with Bigfoot.

Speaker 3 (08:58):
Oh yeah, she did Very , very awesome, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
As a young child, my brother, I'd put him in the back
of my Power Wheels, bigfoot andthen he would flop off the
tailgate.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
And technically, it was your brother that had the
Bigfoot sighting.
Yeah, Apparently he got ranover by it.
Well, you know.
Oh yeah, what did it look like?
Did it smell?
Bad it was moving fast.
It was moving fast.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
I wonder if he has a negative association with
Bigfoot.
I'll have to ask him.

Speaker 3 (09:27):
Yeah, he's terrified of Bigfoot just because of that
incident.
Thanks, kelly, bigfoot almostkilled me.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
It ran me over multiple times.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
You were a certified Bigfoot.
Yeah, if he wants to come onthe show on Bigfoot Club.

Speaker 3 (09:41):
We'll help him out.
Let him know.

Speaker 2 (09:45):
Maybe he needs to work through that trauma.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
You guys could be there, maybe from that situation
have you ever seen bigfoot heck, no, no, maybe, but I would
never know oh, you would know, Ithink you would know I mean,
like what if she was like reallyreally far in the woods and
like I was like, oh, what wasthat?
And I was like, oh, it'sprobably just a deer.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
Maybe you never know.
Maybe, but usually people willsee.
So if people do see Bigfoot, don't they usually see like a
big creature?

Speaker 4 (10:15):
Yeah, I mean there's other things that are associated
with.
There's, like you know, theylike whistle, grunt, howl,
scream, mimic, they mimic otheranimals as well.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
Yeah, remember, Stephen, you told me that one
time you heard Robert, but itwasn't him.
It was.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
Bigfoot.

Speaker 5 (10:38):
Do you remember?

Speaker 3 (10:38):
Well, he does go by, Bigfoot Bob.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Tom, what's in that?

Speaker 2 (10:44):
I swear you told me a story where you you heard him
and then you, but he wasn'tthere and or maybe that was
other people that were hearingvoices you were with like a
bunch of people.

Speaker 3 (10:53):
I think I think it was another person where they
heard something else.
Okay, no, I would remember that, because that would.
That would terrify me, yeah, like mentally, like oh shit,
that wasn't him.
Oh, I'm sorry, do we, can wecurse?

Speaker 2 (11:04):
I'm so sorry.
Have you heard Mackie'slanguage?
You can swear.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Oh that's right, that's right, he's a certified
turtle.
It's okay, certified cursor.
But no.
I think, yeah, we've heardgrunts Me and him heard grunts
and rocks thrown at us.
Sticks, sticks, spikes, spikes.
We've heard grunts, me and himheard grunts and rocks thrown at
us.

Speaker 5 (11:27):
Sticks, sticks, spikes.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Spikes.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:31):
I know so yeah no, I think.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
I mean I would never know, because I've never like no
signs of it.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
So you only believe.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
I'm not like against it.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Do you only believe in things that you've seen?

Speaker 1 (11:40):
No, I'm not against it, but you're not against it or
against it.
I'm not against it, like Idon't even know what to think.
Okay, yeah, well, I will saythis.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
Mac, your, your state has a lot of water and that's
what Bigfoots thrive on, and soany any place that has water and
it has big game, it's probablygoing to have a Bigfoot Probably
.
And it has big game, it'sprobably going to have a big
foot Probably.
So that's just my fieldresearch, doing stuff, and so I

(12:12):
don't know, like in Texas, wehave these electrical
right-of-ways that kind of gothrough counties.
I don't know if you have thatthere, kelly where there's like
a big electrical poles that kindof go through the woods and
there's like a clear cut throughthere.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
Yeah, we don't have big.
I know what you're talkingabout because you've been to
Texas.
You've probably seen it.
I've seen that, but ours isn'tset up quite like that.

Speaker 4 (12:35):
How about gas right-of-ways, where they have a
gas line cut through the groundand there's a clear cut through
the counties and stuff likethat?
No, no.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
Okay, I'm sure I mean I'm probably not the best
person to know that, but I justknow, that ours don't look like
yours, but we probably have somekind of system like that.

Speaker 4 (12:55):
Cause, like I w, I would just say cause, like in
Texas, bigfoot's use that likeas a sidewalk to walk through a
County.
You know, anytime there's aclear cut.
If you were looking forfootprints or scat or broken
branches or something like that, that's usually where you end up
finding them, because it's likeI said, it's almost like a

(13:17):
sidewalk going through a county, and so I used to tell people
I'd go, just go look forelectrical right-of-way, gas
right-of-way, you'll findwhether there's Bigfoot there or
not.

Speaker 3 (13:28):
So can you imagine if you came across one like a
Bigfoot huddle?
A Bigfoot huddle, like they'rethere and they're telling like,
okay, this is what we're goingto do.
You're going to go down thereand you're going to take
Bigfootie over there, junior, and you're going to take Big
reminds me of.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Did you see?
I am legend and, like all, thezombies are like huddled
together.

Speaker 3 (13:47):
That's what I envisioned that's where I was
going with a big foot huddleyeah, that's what I was thinking
.
You came across that, and thenthey look at you like he knows
too much that would be kind ofscary that would be scary yeah
do you guys believe in ghosts?

Speaker 4 (14:07):
scary.
That would be scary.
Yeah, do you guys believe inghosts?
Oh yeah, uh yeah.
Oh yeah, I was like I said, Iwas a.
I was a case director for aparanormal group for 10 years,
so, um, yeah, we've, we've, I'veseen stuff, and I know steven
I've seen stuff more thanbigfoot.

Speaker 3 (14:18):
I will say that yeah, um and you want to.

Speaker 4 (14:20):
You want to say a couple stories on that, oh, the
only times that.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
I guess there's one where, come on, I'm going to use
this one.
I think you know where I'mgoing with it.
When my uncle Robert, wheneverhe was sick and he flatlined for
seven minutes, I'm pretty surewe told you that one, kelly
right.
Yeah, he was on.
They brought him back, they hadhim on the ventilator and he

(14:49):
was like out and one of the daysthat we're going to take out
the ventilator I wanted to gosee and make sure everything was
going to be alright and allthat stuff.
And I was going to his room andthe room next to him and the
it's the ICU, right, it was CCU,ccu.
Okay, one of the rooms next tohim was empty and they just like

(15:12):
folded up like the blankets onthe bed or whatever, and I saw a
guy in like one of thosehospital gowns sitting next to
the bed.
He looked confused and I waslike walking kind of quick to go
to the room.
I just happened to look in thatroom.
It was empty, but I saw the guyin there.
Then I passed, I looked and Igo.

(15:34):
Why is that guy just sittingthere?

Speaker 5 (15:39):
looking at the bed.
I went back.
He was gone.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
Within two seconds.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
Do you think he had just passed?
And then was like confusedabout?

Speaker 3 (15:50):
yeah, I, I think so, and I think that was like the
most heartbreaking thing afterlike, because it was replaying
in my mind and I didn't want totell robert you were in no like
condition to be.
Hey, you know this all goes, man, you're gonna be like what,
hey, no, tell me that nowespecially after yeah, no, so
that lined and in hat you meanyou were, you had passed.
Yeah, yeah, yeah at that time, though, he did not know that he

(16:12):
passed yeah okay uh, no, nobodywanted to tell him that and we
were like we just asked him hey,do you remember anything, or
you're just like?
No, I just I remember I fellasleep.
It was like a dream.
Okay, that's all we're gonna.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
We're not gonna tell him yet yeah, my, my older
brother was telling me uh, oneof my older brothers was saying
hey, did you see, uh, dad?
Because my dad had passed in 03and my sister steven's mom,
passed in, uh, you know, 06.
And they said hey, did you seedad, did you see sandra?
And I go, what, what are youtalking about?
And they were like like shh, don't say nothing.

Speaker 3 (16:47):
So yeah, I just remember seeing that and I think
you saw him too.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
Yeah, like right before they took the ventilator
out of my you know, out of me Icouldn't talk, so I couldn't
communicate with anybody.
But I would wake up sometimeslike at three, four o'clock in
the morning and I was like therewas no nurse.
I was right by the nurse'sstation but I could hear them
talking but I couldn't see them.
And there was this old manwalking by with one of those IV

(17:15):
stands.
He was walking with it and hewalked by like two or three
times and after they took theventilator out, I asked one of
the nurses.
I said, hey, how's that old mandoing?
I go see him, like walkingthrough at three in the morning
and she looked at me likeconfused and she goes, baby,
there's nobody on this floorthat can walk.
And I go, what?

(17:37):
And she goes, there's nobody onthis floor, because maybe he
came off another floor.
I go, yeah, maybe, yeah, thatstill gives me goosebumps.
And so after, after all thatstuff happened, steven told me
this story and I go holy shit, that's what it was the same guy.

Speaker 3 (17:51):
Yeah, he had, he had side hair on his.
He was bald on top, yeah yeah,he looked like in his 60s maybe
yeah, yeah, he'd look, he lookedlike he was, like he was lost,
yeah.
He had a blank stare in hisface and I still remember that.

Speaker 5 (18:05):
Just by looking at the side of him.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Yeah, and I it still plays on my mind because I'm all
like man, like why did I seethat?
And I I took that as a kind ofa negative warning sign.
I was worried too and I waslike man, please, like, we just
got him back, please don't.
Whatever it is, I, we just gothim back, Please don't.
Whatever it is.
I don't claim that negativeenergy.
I don't want it.
I'm just going to just see itas some unlucky soul that was

(18:31):
confused.

Speaker 4 (18:33):
If you ask me, I think you just have energies
that other people don't have.
That's just what I think.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Yeah, and at that time I was through so much
emotions.
I think it just channeled thatfor me to see it you were like a
Roman candle.
Yeah and uh, I just happened.
He looked like.
He didn't even look like aghost, he just looked like
sitting down, yeah.
A full apparition of him justsitting down and um.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
you said at the time when you saw it, like you
weren't thinking like oh thatman looks weird or like
translucent or anything likethat.

Speaker 3 (19:07):
Yeah, no, I just well , I just thought it was weird,
Like why is he sitting byhimself and I something told me
to walk back those three steps?
That I did, and I walked backthree steps and he was gone.
I was like, why did I do it?
I should have just kept walking.
I don't need this.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
Yeah, cause like the, the angle that I had kelly was
like I was laying on my back, Icouldn't move and I could see my
feet and I could see like theheadboard and it was one, there
was like a two doors and it wasone door open and one door
closed and so I saw him maybelike two or three seconds as
he's walking by and I could Icould hear like the wheels on

(19:42):
that, on that ivy thing, kind ofshaking a little bit.
So I knew he was there.
I go okay, he's walking.

Speaker 5 (19:49):
He's walking.

Speaker 4 (19:50):
That's cool, yeah, right on, and so I just didn't
know it was something thatwasn't really theirs.

Speaker 2 (19:58):
Yeah, have you ever seen a ghost?

Speaker 3 (19:59):
Yeah you know no.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Remember that one time, when he's a cat, was it a
ghost?

Speaker 2 (20:07):
ghost I was running, we can tell that story you're so
freaked out?
You said you saw a ghost catyeah, well, so I when, when we
first got bunnies, I had like acamera set up in the house so I
could see them like and justmake sure like I don't know.
They were fine and I forgot.
So then one night on the camera, like you know, you get in

(20:28):
motion.
If there's any motion, thatlike gives you an alert, like
there was motion at this time.
And so I'm like, oh, that'sreally weird, I wonder what
motion was detected at you know2, 30 in the morning and all of
a sudden I like see this crazything like run by and it looks
like a small child.
I am like what the fuck wasthat?
I've never gotten any kind ofghost vibes in this house.

(20:51):
Everywhere else I've lived Ifeel like I've had ghost
experiences, but here I've neverfelt that.
I've lived in this house for 19years.
Anyway, I'm showing the girls atwork.
I'm like you've got to see thisvideo.
I'm so freaked out, I don'teven want to go home.
And everyone is like, oh my God, yes, that is a small child.

(21:13):
And I was like, oh my gosh, I'mso creeped out.
And then, and then I'm thinkinglike who is this small child
ghost Like why are they in ourhouse?
Where did they come from,whatever?
So anyway, I, it was Chucky, itwas Chucky.
So I show the video at home andthey're like we were watching my

(21:40):
sister's cat and I totallyforgot about that and it was the
cat's tail that went whippingby the camera and I was like, oh
my gosh, I feel so stupid andonce I knew that's what it was,
I could totally tell it was justthe cat running behind its tail
.
It was like it's falling apart.

Speaker 3 (22:00):
Yeah, so that one was debunked.
Debunked, debunked.

Speaker 1 (22:07):
You said that you used to feel jima yeah, like I
always do random, like noises onmy bed, it was so weird yeah,
but how?

Speaker 5 (22:14):
did you, how did you, how did you?

Speaker 1 (22:18):
I want to do it, or like there's a big noise like
you know when you sit on a bed.
Sometimes it creaks.
Yeah, I'd be like that noiselike randomly and you said that
you could like.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
If you looked you'd see like an indentation of like
where she was sitting yeah, sometimes, yeah, maybe it was
like obvious mackie, did youfeel like love, or did you feel
scared?

Speaker 4 (22:39):
I mean, how did you feel?
Do you recall?

Speaker 1 (22:43):
I mean I was like oh okay, I was like probably loved
most, if anything, I rememberwhen it was happening and we
were talking about it, like yousaid.

Speaker 2 (22:51):
Well, I just know it's jima looking after me and
I'm not scared yeah, because itnever happened until like she
wasn't like there, no more soshe died yeah yeah, it's like a
ghost thing, though.

Speaker 4 (23:02):
That's what we're talking about did it happen like
right after she had passed, II'm.
If it's like a ghost thing,though that's what we're talking
about.
Did it happen like right aftershe had passed?
I'm.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
If it's too sensitive , I'm sorry but it was probably
like I don't know like monthsafter.

Speaker 2 (23:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:13):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
Still fairly new yeah .

Speaker 2 (23:16):
It's fair he was like so nonchalant about it.
Like I remember we like oh yeah, I see G-Ma, she comes and
visits me in my room when I'mand watches me play video games.
And I was like what?
And then he told me what hejust told you and I was like oh,
I like that.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
Do you have Kelly?
Do you have any safe keeps ofher?
Do you have like jewelry, necklaces, rings?

Speaker 2 (23:37):
Yeah, I have a lot of her stuff and I even have her.
I mean, she's in this bedroomwhere I'm in my room right now,
and she's in my room.
I have her ashes, so I talkedto her all the time.

Speaker 3 (23:49):
Yeah, yeah, big source.
So ashes.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
So that you know, because, like we always believe
that, like wood, stone, metalobjects can retain energy.
Sometimes metal objects canretain energy.
Sometimes, like wheneversomeone says my house is haunted
, and most likely it's probablylike the ground, like it's
either like underwater, likewater, like a creek under their

(24:15):
house, because water is a bigconductor of energy.
Limestone, quartz, quartz is abig conductor of energy.
So if someone died violently inthe house, there's a lot of
emotion and energy there andsometimes it gets trapped and so
it's almost like a like a likea vhs tape just constantly

(24:36):
playing over and over.
So and you know, you have a lotof her safe cake, you know her,
her items, and then you have herashes there.
Yeah, so that's understandable, that Mac felt a lot of that
stuff, so it's like a conductor,so she had a lot of love for
him, a lot of love for her, soit's just going to constantly

(24:58):
flow.

Speaker 2 (25:00):
Yeah, we always welcome her presence.
If she wants to show up, mybrother will say he'll smell her
, he'll get whiffs of her,that's powerful.
I don't get that.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
That's a lot of energy, yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
Yeah, wow, but all of us siblings have a lot of her
things.

Speaker 4 (25:21):
Yeah, and I also tell people a lot of times whenever
they're talking about somethinghaunted in your house.
I always ask them all the timeI said where does the power come
in from the electric pole toyour house?
Because sometimes that cornerof the house will have more, it
will harness more energy thananything.
So ghosts, in theory, uh, needenergy to be seen or heard or

(25:44):
smelled or whatever.
And then I ask them hey, where's the electrical box at in
your house, like the circuitbreaker?

Speaker 2 (25:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:53):
And a lot of times that corner of the house will
have sightings more than anyother house.

Speaker 2 (25:59):
Yeah, that's interesting, sorry, yeah.
Yeah, so do you have anyquestions about bigfoot or
paranormal activity not anymore.

Speaker 1 (26:11):
No no nothing, you know, I mean you can.

Speaker 4 (26:13):
You can ask us questions about games.
Steven's really big in thegames.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
What game do you play , steven?
What's like your go-to videogame?

Speaker 3 (26:22):
uh, right now, I've been playing this is gonna sound
bad, but I've been playingready or not?
Uh, because I I recently, uh,through the help of my wonderful
uncle, uh got a gaming pc oh mygod um, and I started playing,
ready or not, and it's a it'slike a swat base type game and

(26:44):
they put you in real lifescenarios of like hostage
situations and you have to.
It's very realistic very, veryrealistic, every this you can go
through the side and the backof the door, whatever, and then
you press a certain key to tellthe suspect to go.
You know, put your hands up andall that stuff you want to say
no, no, tell them what othergame you're playing too.

Speaker 4 (27:04):
What other game were we talking about earlier?
Marvel arrivals?

Speaker 3 (27:08):
no, um, about the, the podcast oh yeah, there's
another one called searching forbigfoot oh yeah that's a tv
show too, isn't it?

Speaker 2 (27:21):
that's finding bigfoot I'll find you um yeah,
but it it's.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
It's the same premise .
Uh, yeah, but it's.
Uh, it's a, it's an indie videogame.
That are video game that youstart off in the middle of the
woods near your van.
You get your stuff, your camera, your flashlight, nightstick,
the night glow stick.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
Oh yeah, and you walk through the woods.
I watched the video on film.
Play that game.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Yeah, you walk through the woods and you find
like it's realistic too, becauseI played like the first hour
nothing happened, Nothinghappened.
And I was like, yeah, that'stypical, yeah, Typical.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
It's hard to find them in a gaming family.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
It's an infinite.
It even says it on thedescription.
It's an infinite like wood andyou're in the woods and it's
just an infinite woods.
Yeah, you find river and I'mlike, okay, I'll stay on the
river and I'll walk the riverline and see if I can find a
Bigfoot.
Nope, nothing.
The first like 72 minutes ofabsolute nothing.
And then I had to go pick upthe boys from school.
I was like, oh, I was kind ofhoping I would see Bigfoot.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
So the game board never ends it just kind of like
repeats itself.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
It kind of like repeats itself.
It kind of repeats itself untilyou find, uh, until you find
bigfoot, and it'll tell you too, like you, you've been smelled
by bigfoot, you're you're weird, you're being stalked by bigfoot
and I was like, oh crap, likeit's supposed to, like it's
supposed to give you that fear.
And then it has your heartmonitor on the side too, and
it's like it speeds up um, andthen I guess, at the very end,

(28:50):
if he finds you, he's likeyou've been found by Bigfoot,
yeah he kills you without youeven noticing.

Speaker 4 (28:55):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Because I started the game recently and I was like,
okay, apparently you can carry abunch of batteries for your
flashlight and you need that.
So I was just getting batteriesand I got up to 60 and then the
screen went red and said you'vebeen caught by bigfoot.
Maybe you should have not beenin the dark for so long.
I was like what?
I was gathering batteries,gathering batteries.

(29:18):
I was like this bigfoot's acoward face me.

Speaker 4 (29:22):
But what, uh, what do you win?
The game you have to find.

Speaker 3 (29:26):
You win it by he finds you yep nice, that's
interesting so what was yougonna say?

Speaker 4 (29:33):
I was gonna say what other?
What other gaming system areyou playing?

Speaker 3 (29:37):
oh man, I have, uh, I have the gaming pc, and then I
have a playstation 5 and also Ihave xbox and also I have a
switch so what games are youplaying on those?
On the the PlayStation 5, I'mplaying like Elden Ring, Silent
Hill 2.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Silent Hill that movie was.
I couldn't even watch thatmovie.
I had to fast forward throughmost of it, the movies.

Speaker 3 (30:02):
They don't do it justice.
I mean, the first one is okay, the game is scarier.
I think the game is scarier.
Silent Hill 2 is like one of myfavorite horror games because
it's psychological horror.
Um, what else?
Uh?
Resident evil 7.
Resident evil 8 village.
On the playstation 5 xbox I'mplaying the indiana jones the

(30:24):
last circle and that one'spretty good, um, but yeah,
mostly on the gaming pc now doyou play online or do you play
like by yourself?
I play mostly by myself, but I'mnot like I'll play with online,
like with if I'm close topeople and they're like, hey,
you want to play some, like youknow, call of duty or or

(30:44):
whatever other multiplayer gamethat we play.
We mostly play like indiemultiplayer games, like we're
playing, uh, nuclear nightmare, and that's like you're in alaska
and you're trying to find, uh,you're trying to get out and
you're being chased by, likethis alien entity and it's, and
it kind of reminds you ofsomething.
I'm not going to say what it is, what is it?

(31:05):
What does it remind you of?
The Thing?

Speaker 2 (31:08):
Yeah, the movie John Carpenter's the Thing.
That's literally the Thing.

Speaker 3 (31:13):
Yeah, and it mimics you too.
So if it'll like the gamerecords your voice, so it'll.
If I go, if my character goesaround looking for something and
my other group's not payingattention, it can mimic me and
then go to the group and thenyou can hear my voice.
It's like he'll be like heyguys, what are you doing?

(31:33):
What are you doing?
And it goes like real deep andthey're like david, is that you?
And I'm like no, it's not me,it's not me, it's creepy run do
you ever get creeped out whenyou're playing those games?
yeah, that one was creepybecause we were playing and
thinking, oh okay, and then Iheard my voice talking when I
wasn't talking and I lookedaround, I go what the shit, what

(31:54):
the?
Shit is that?
And then they were asking mehey, is that, is that you?
I go no, I'm over here, and oh,that's not steven.
So it's yeah, that one's a goodgame to play how do you find
those indie games?
Uh through the great uh steam.
It's a program.
It's where you get all the gamesand they're really.

(32:16):
They really they have everygame that's available, but
there's like a lot ofindependent games that are not
on console and they're awesomeyeah, I was gonna say it's like
the quality of them good yeah,it's not bad for it being
independent, like there's somereally really awesome indie
games that I'm starting to lovemore than triple a games.

(32:36):
So it's, yeah, it's I always.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
I was walking on him while he's playing games and I I
try to commentate you know, commentate all the time, like
he's he's doing something, I go,hey, jump over there, he's
already doing it.
You know, all the time, likehe's he's doing something, I go,
hey, jump over there, he'salready doing it.
Hey, hey, shoot that guy.
He's already doing it.
And like, like the third orfourth time I'll say it, he'll
stop the game and look at me andgo really.

Speaker 3 (33:00):
No, you like, you like.
The one I remember is when Iwas playing Resident Evil
Village and there was like abunch of those lichens and I
just threw a grenade right atthat.
No, I had a grenade launcherand I shot at that little flame
barrel or whatever and it bleweverybody up and you go, that's
awesome, and you walk to it yeah, I tease him a lot whenever

(33:24):
he's playing video games youdon't play.
Robert.

Speaker 4 (33:30):
I used to when I was younger.
I, I, I kind of I can't, youknow I started with you know
it's gonna, it's gonna age methe, you know, atari and super
nintendo and nintendo andnintendo 64 nintendo 64
playstation one I I got thefirst playstation and then after
that I kind of quit.
I got into comics and I kind ofjust put my money in comics.

Speaker 3 (33:53):
But the awesome thing was that all those consoles he
gave to me yeah, I gave to him.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Oh, that worked out good for you.

Speaker 4 (33:58):
And then bought him consoles later.

Speaker 5 (34:02):
It hasn't changed.

Speaker 4 (34:04):
I spoil him, I swear, I spoil him so much.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Like you, you're spoiled all the time.
I like it a lot.

Speaker 3 (34:12):
But I'm not a certified turtle.

Speaker 2 (34:13):
What game are you playing on Xbox right now?

Speaker 1 (34:18):
Right now I'm playing a lot of GTA oh okay.
Ooh.

Speaker 5 (34:22):
And then are you playing both of your buddies?
Yeah, Okay.

Speaker 3 (34:26):
And then, what are you playing on PC?

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Well, on PC I play a lot of Lethal Company and
Buckshot Roulette.
Lethal Company what BuckshotRoulette?
Yeah, it's like a shotgun andit's like it'll tell you, like
how many duds and live roundsthere are, and like you get like
items to like win the game.

Speaker 2 (34:45):
Okay, you're not like killing somebody.

Speaker 1 (34:48):
No, you don't actually kill somebody, you
fight versus like a bot orsomething okay see, I've learned
something new.

Speaker 2 (34:54):
I didn't know that you're playing those games.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
Yeah, logan really played a lot.
When he comes over, he always,he always turns on my pc and he
always plays that the buckshotroulette yeah mac I was gonna
ask you on Grand Theft what typeof music is playing on those,
because usually they play musicright yeah, sometimes there's
like actual music and then likea lot of their music is like

(35:20):
made up, like it's not real,it's just like like fake country
music unless you have like theradio on in the car yeah, and
sometimes like there is somelike the baby songs, Kendrick
Lamar, there's a lot of thatsongs in there but I doesn't
play very often on the radio.

(35:40):
Got it, he's big into music sohe doesn't often know, Huh.

Speaker 4 (35:48):
What type of music do you guys like?

Speaker 2 (35:51):
Well, I like, my go-to is rap.

Speaker 4 (35:54):
Same.
Yeah, Because you're alwayssinging.
I always hear you singing onyour podcast.

Speaker 1 (36:00):
I love all music.
Yeah, your white girl songs.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Especially my white girl songs.
What?

Speaker 1 (36:06):
does that mean Like what?
Like basic white girl songs.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Like what Like like what?

Speaker 1 (36:10):
like Taylor Swift yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (36:15):
Lainey Wilson no, I mean, I'm not a huge country
person.
I don't even know if I couldsing you a Lainey Wilson song.

Speaker 3 (36:21):
Neither am I, but I love Lainey Wilson yeah, well,
she's really pretty.

Speaker 2 (36:25):
If that's what you're talking about.
Do you love her voice or otherthings?

Speaker 3 (36:30):
I love her voice.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
Nice, try I'm married .

Speaker 3 (36:35):
She just has a wonderful voice.
I'll leave it at that, okay.

Speaker 2 (36:40):
Boring.
I love like 90s country.
I could sing you every 90scountry song, old music, because
I know I am old and I listen towhat my parents listen to.
So I just feel like I don'tknow a lot of new music.

Speaker 4 (36:56):
I'm not as good as that as like old stuff I know, I
know, whenever I listen to yourpodcast you're singing and I
can hear matt goes, oh god, orhe goes, he goes, go you like
Tom goes.
You don't know that song.
He goes.
No, mom, I don't know it.

Speaker 2 (37:13):
Well, sometimes like we'll be in the car and all of a
sudden he'll start singing thewords and I'm like because you
sing it over and over.
And he's like well, mom, yousing it all the time and I'm
like you actually listen, listento me.
Aww, you do pay attention.
Of course I pay attention.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
Mac, I just wanted to tell you your mom's pretty
amazing.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
I just want you to know that, oh, I know my mom's
amazing.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
Not a lot of moms will do a podcast with you and
always be interested in whatyou're doing all the time,
because I think that's supercool and I laugh so hard
whenever I listen to y'all.

Speaker 2 (37:50):
He's going to listen to our podcast all the time.

Speaker 4 (37:57):
Oh man.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
But yeah, you like 90s country or earlier country
than that, or it doesn't matter.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
I feel like 90s country is what I grew up
listening to, so I feel like Iknow a lot of that better.
I don't know that I necessarilylike, choose to listen to it,
but like at work, we'll listento.
So I'm the dj at work in my newjob because, yeah, because I
have, you know, like pandora, and so then I'll just be like

(38:24):
what do you what, what do youwant on the playlist today, and
then I'll just shuffle whateveryone likes.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
That's smart.

Speaker 2 (38:31):
And a lot of the girls like country, so then I'll
put in country and then I'llknow every song and everyone's
like how do you know?

Speaker 4 (38:37):
every song At this job that you love a lot right.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:42):
It's so funny, it's so cute.

Speaker 2 (38:44):
Like, if I'm not there, they'll be like, oh it.
Like if I'm not there, they'llbe like oh, so quiet without you
and your music.

Speaker 1 (38:50):
I'm like, oh, I'm glad you guys look forward to
that yeah.

Speaker 5 (38:55):
Mixmaster Kelly up in the house.

Speaker 3 (38:58):
I love it.
Yeah, we tried to find a.

Speaker 2 (39:01):
DJ name.
But we couldn't.
I I'm just not a person who hasnicknames Like I am always just
Kelly.
So we tried to, at work, findme a DJ name.
Nothing sounded right, nothingfit.

Speaker 4 (39:15):
We'll find something.
Yeah, give us time, we'll findsomething for you.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Make it be nice, because that's the thing.
A lot of them are ridiculousnames and I'm like no, of course
, you're like one of ourfavorites.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (39:29):
We, of course.
You're like one of ourfavorites.
Yes, we'll figure out a name.
Yeah, of course.

Speaker 2 (39:32):
I'm all of your friends' favorite yeah that's
true.
I am the favorite mom of allthe friends.

Speaker 4 (39:38):
I'm not surprised Laid back.

Speaker 5 (39:43):
Not surprised.

Speaker 4 (39:47):
But yeah, I think uh listening to your show it's uh.
I know some of my other friendsthat I listen to your show and
they're saying hey, man, youhaven't been listening to our
show lately and I go what?

Speaker 3 (39:59):
what happened.
I'm trying to be on my bestbehavior, so, and they take it
literally.

Speaker 2 (40:06):
Oh okay, I guess we're bad that's, like you know,
the name of our podcast On OurBest Behavior is very sarcastic
Because we are never on our bestbehavior.
We try to just be super broad.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
What, what?
I didn't say nothing.
What happened?
You're crazy.

Speaker 2 (40:24):
You're never on your best behavior.
Oh, that's just.
That is how you normally talk.
But I don't say you can't dothat on the podcast, because
that is who you are.
I don't say you have to be onyour best behavior.

Speaker 1 (40:36):
That's a good point.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
Yeah, so that's why it's a facetious name.

Speaker 1 (40:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
Facetious, yeah, facetious.
Very misleading I always thinkI'm mispronouncing that when I
say it, it's facetious.

Speaker 2 (40:49):
And then it's funny because some people will send me
like DMs and they'll be likeMac was not on his best behavior
, the whole point.

Speaker 4 (40:59):
That's the whole point.
I think I've DMed you beforeabout that too, yeah maybe.

Speaker 2 (41:03):
Yeah, I get that often from people.
I'm like well, you know he iswho he is.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
What can you do as long as?

Speaker 2 (41:12):
he knows where and when, that's totally fine, and
he doesn't get in trouble atschool, so he must know where
and when.

Speaker 1 (41:19):
He'll never get in trouble at school.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
Whenever we have conferences, they're like oh,
mackie is such a kind, sweet, good kid.
I just wish that we had moreMackies.
Well, they call you McCoy.

Speaker 1 (41:30):
Mackity, mack.

Speaker 4 (41:34):
I'm like, oh, if you could only see him with his
headset on.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
That's a different story.

Speaker 2 (41:39):
That is a different story.
Sometimes, when I hear thethings that you say when you're
video gaming.
I'm like I'm going to pretend Ididn't hear that.

Speaker 3 (41:54):
Rage quit.
Yeah, yeah, no, it's like.
Oh man, did I sound like that?
Because when I hear the boysthey play fortnite a lot and
then they are super loud on theheadphones I'm like, hey,
everybody in the neighborhoodcan hear you.
Okay, what exactly?

Speaker 2 (42:07):
on the weekends, you know we'll be trying to sleep
and I can hear him like he'ssitting right next to me and I'm
like texting him like bro, yougotta be quiet.
Other people are trying tosleep, like if you want to stay
up, be considerate of others no,it's like exactly we.

Speaker 4 (42:25):
We always tell ricardo to put one ear on one
off.

Speaker 1 (42:28):
That way he knows how loud he is all the time, and
that still doesn't help.
It still doesn't help.

Speaker 3 (42:35):
It does not help.
So he'll be saying, like theweirdest things, like skibbity,
toilet, and I'm all like what, what does that even?

Speaker 4 (42:43):
mean.
This kid the F-bomb is strong.
No, not Mackie.

Speaker 1 (42:51):
He's always on his best behavior.

Speaker 2 (42:54):
Yeah, that is his best behavior.
Sometimes I'll be like youcan't say fuck anymore.

Speaker 3 (43:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (43:02):
Bro, why you maxed out on the fucks today okay.

Speaker 3 (43:04):
Yeah, you maxed out on the fucks today, okay.

Speaker 4 (43:08):
Yeah, you know, every time I talk to your mom, Mac, I
ask about y'all all the time Igo how's Mac doing, How's he
doing?
Because it seemed like Ilistened to y'all so much I feel
like.
I know y'all so well, I mean, Ithink that we can say that we
know each other well.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
Now, at this point, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, so.

Speaker 3 (43:31):
But yeah, did I ever do?
Was I ever loud on because Iplayed the 360 with?

Speaker 4 (43:37):
Yeah, you didn't have headsets that much back then I
did.

Speaker 3 (43:40):
I had a headset, but it was the one that was only
covered one ear, mm, and I don'tthink I was ever loud and with
the ear and the mic.
Yeah, the ear and the mic, andthe mic had a huge, like you
know, Q-tip ball, yeah, like acall center headset yeah like a
call center, exactly, and, yeah, like that thing lasted forever.

(44:01):
No, you weren't that loud.
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:04):
You weren't that loud .
I just had to tell Steven onetime.

Speaker 3 (44:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (44:07):
I go.
Hey, you weren't that loud I.
I just had to tell steven onetime yeah, I go.

Speaker 3 (44:09):
Hey, man you're too loud, he goes okay.
Yeah, yes, sir, because therewas like a couple times where
like it was the weekend and youwere like going to bed early or
normal time yeah, and I wouldstay up like till three in the
morning with jabron or somethingand we'd either spend the night
or I'd play with him online.
The stars won, and the starsthat was our Kelly, that was our

(44:30):
thing, that we figured that meand my best friend figured out,
if we ever wanted to spend thenight, or you told his house or
him, come over, the stars willbe playing.
And I was like man, the starsare playing If they win.
He's in a good mood and and andwe tested it out many times and
Robert never knew, we didn'ttell him this until later and he
never noticed it.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
But yeah, it'd be like You'd say yes if they won
and no if they lost.

Speaker 3 (44:54):
Yeah.
So there were times where like, okay, star's lost, let me see,
let me test this out.
I go hey, robert, is it cool ifJaron comes over?
I go over to his house and hewould like, he would like do his
face like a scrunch face, andthen he'd be like, nah, you
gotta, you gotta D that one.
Uh, one report card two weeksago and now you need to.

(45:18):
I need you to know we're nottonight and I go well, that
works.
And then the next weekend thestars are playing, they won.
I go okay, let's, let's see ifthis whole D thing brings up.
Hey, is it okay if Jabron comesup?
Oh, yeah, you guys want toorder pizza?
I was like oh shit, he wouldcome over and he would look at
me and go, I guess that's athing, now that we're in, I can

(45:45):
come over, and then we're likewe tested out, like we don't
really want to order pizza, let's go Jack in the Box.

Speaker 4 (45:48):
Yeah, come on, get in the car, we'll go in case you
didn't know, I'm a big DallasStar fan, so yeah, I figured
that out just now.

Speaker 2 (45:55):
Yeah, is that baseball?

Speaker 5 (45:58):
huh is it baseball?
No, it's hockey, it's hockey,it's hockey yeah.

Speaker 3 (46:05):
So if the Stars won, we we took that as our advantage
and stuff.
And you would ask me too, because hey, he's bitch, that's
the way I go the stars.
He goes the stars playingFriday.
I had to play Wednesday, sohe's usually still kind of mad.
So we'll, we'll, we'll test itout too.
And sometimes he said yeah, sometimes he said no.

Speaker 5 (46:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (46:26):
But it was.
If it was the night before orthe night of and they won, you
were in a good mood.
Yeah, I'll go pick them up.
It was funny, those dudes.

Speaker 2 (46:37):
I tell Max's friends now that I have to see their
report card grades if they wantto spend the night, because they
have to have Caesar better, otherwise they can't come.

Speaker 1 (46:46):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
Well, we're going to never have you dude?

Speaker 4 (46:51):
So come on now, yeah, that's why he's not probably
gonna come over anymore.
Oh, oh, geez.
Well, I I used to tell steven, like all steven's friends, like
I like if steven had a friend Ihad to meet him, I have to talk
to him, I have to quiz him, Ihave to ask him questions.
I said he goes.
Hey, I got a new friend,charlie.
I said I don't know thisCharlie, I don't know what he
does.
You can't hang out, okaygodfather.

Speaker 3 (47:11):
Okay, he's calling the godfather.

Speaker 2 (47:14):
Mackie doesn't really have a lot of friends, so, dude
, I do.
I usually am like, oh yeah, sure you have a new friend dude,
I have a lot of friends.

Speaker 1 (47:22):
You just don't know a lot of them.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
Your last friend, I saw me, I didn't know, called
you a homeless.
Oh yeah, noah, yeah, he saidyour last friend I saw called
you a homeless.
Oh yeah, noah, yeah, he said, you look like a homeless.

Speaker 1 (47:31):
I've known him for like a while, though.

Speaker 4 (47:34):
Mackie, do you have a girlfriend?

Speaker 1 (47:36):
Heck.
No, that's too much work for me, dang.

Speaker 2 (47:41):
Do you have a girlfriend, Robert?

Speaker 4 (47:43):
Oh no, no Strong words from a strong man.
I'm going the Mackieackie vibethere, so no all right.
Well, we have a couple ofsingle bachelors up in the
podcast yeah well, shoot yourdms if you want to go on a date

(48:03):
mackie I I tell your mom lasttime we talked I go if, if you
got out of control for her tosend you down to Texas to hang
out with us.

Speaker 3 (48:16):
No, I don't think we'll be good role models.

Speaker 2 (48:19):
Down to Texas.

Speaker 4 (48:24):
You can play Fortnite .
You can play Fortnite over here.

Speaker 3 (48:27):
Yeah, you can play Fortnite with twin boys that are
eight years old that say SkippyToilet a lot, skippy Toilet For
no reason.

Speaker 5 (48:34):
Mackie said Poopy Jack a lot when he was little.

Speaker 2 (48:37):
You said a lot of weird things too, when you were
younger, and you would think itwas so funny Poopy Jack.
And you always said it was whatit sounded like Poopy Dick,
yeah, and he always said Poopydick.

Speaker 3 (48:52):
Yeah, yeah, ricardo had to get, not get after him,
but I had to like, because hewas like saying words and he's
like me and you, we always likeChange the wordings, or
something like that.
So he was like saying, likeHarry Potter, harry Potter.

Speaker 2 (49:05):
You do that too, do your British bonkers.

Speaker 1 (49:11):
Absolute bonkers.

Speaker 4 (49:13):
That's pretty good.
Go on it.

Speaker 3 (49:16):
Absolute bonkers, absolute bonkers.

Speaker 4 (49:22):
Yeah, man yeah.

Speaker 5 (49:25):
Well, is there anything else that you guys?

Speaker 2 (49:26):
want to talk about.

Speaker 4 (49:31):
No, not really.
I mean, this was just aconversation.
Yeah, it was just aconversation um.

Speaker 2 (49:38):
I know the only thing I wanted to say we spent the
day at the mall of America todayoh, that's huge, though, right
yeah, but it's so big like itkicks your butt how many square
feet is that place?
I don't know, over a million Idon't, I don't know, I don't
know the square footage of it,and I lost my phone as because I

(50:01):
lose my phone about nine timesevery day, and so I lost it
right before he sat down and Idon't know where it is.

Speaker 3 (50:08):
Oh, no, he's like mom , you struggle, but let me tell
you what did you call it.

Speaker 2 (50:13):
The Mall of America is not heated.
They use all of the skylightsand body temperature and light
fixtures to heat the whole joint.

Speaker 4 (50:24):
What the heck?
That's weird.
That is weird.

Speaker 2 (50:27):
I don't even know how I feel about that.
They don't have heat and it'salways hot in there.

Speaker 1 (50:32):
Yeah, it's always hot in there yeah.

Speaker 2 (50:36):
So, Wow.

Speaker 4 (50:42):
The only thing I wanted to mention, kelly, was
that my older brother you know Idon't know if I told you he
does a comic book called El GatoNegro and he's actually got
onto Amazon.
They actually did a series onit.
So they're going to release itthis year I don't know when.

(51:03):
So I'm pretty excited aboutthat.
That's huge.
Yeah, I'm writing for his comicbook right now.
So, um, I'm helping him.
I'm not writing for the show,I'm writing for his comic book,
but, um, but he, he's going tohave that.
And so Stephen and I are goingto do and we're going to create
another podcast where we're the.
We're going break, like, breakdown each episode and just talk

(51:33):
about it and hopefully get someof the actors on to uh,
interview them and stuff.

Speaker 3 (51:36):
so yeah, that would be awesome yeah, it is we?

Speaker 4 (51:41):
I'm so happy for him and uh, he, he, you know he has
this one character and then he'strying to expand it.
So he's kind of got me writingother characters and creating
other characters for him.
So I'm trying to expand hisuniverse.
And so he asked me to write astory about an Aztec sun god
called Tanatu.

(52:01):
And so I did that, I wrote itfor him, and then he came back
to me and says hey, can youchange it to a movie script?
And I go, I've never done itbefore.

Speaker 5 (52:13):
I go yeah.

Speaker 4 (52:13):
I guess.
So I wrote it, I changed itfrom a comic book format to a
movie script, and so he'spitching it now to MGM to see if
he'll possibly make it.
So I'm pretty excited aboutthat, that's crazy, crazy good,
yeah, yeah, yeah.
So that's the only thing I gotgoing in.

(52:35):
You know our podcast and that'spretty much it.

Speaker 2 (52:40):
How about you, Steven ?

Speaker 3 (52:42):
I'm not writing any comic books, I am.
I am I'm trying to read like alot of books right now and we're
, uh, we've had the the pleasureof having a author on, sean
Warner Um, who's a terrificauthor.
He's local here and he he wrotetwo books and he's writing two
other books and I've just beenworking that, like you know, he

(53:05):
he sends it to you early, right, yeah, he sent me his last book
like three months before it cameout, and so I was really happy
about that.
I go, man, I've never been apart of like a book club that
will you know, get a early copyof the book before it's like
published.
Yeah, so, um, and he loves ustoo, right?

Speaker 4 (53:24):
yeah, he, he, he, he pushes us as much as he can.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (53:30):
Well.

Speaker 4 (53:31):
I mean to be honest with you, I thought at first we
were kind of stalking him atfirst.
Yeah, cause like you know he hewas on Tik TOK and he got
really viral and Steven came upto me and goes, hey, we should
interview this guy, sean Warner.
He's local, he's doing like a,a like a paranormal book.
I said I go reach out to him, see, see if we can.
Yeah, so steven reached out tohim.

(53:51):
He didn't respond and like Ithink he was like gonna be at a
couple of books something like.

Speaker 3 (53:56):
I forgot what it was called.
It was in dallas, uh-huh.
It was like a.
It was a swap meet, swap meetand they have like shoes there
and he was the only author there.
Yeah, right, yeah, and he wasright and we're like, hey, you
know, we took the boys with usand they had to go to the
bathroom.
I was like man, we got to findhim.
It's a big, it's kind of like abig building, and we're like
let's go to the bathroom.
He was like right there.

Speaker 4 (54:14):
I was like oh, he's right there.

Speaker 3 (54:27):
Let's go.
Hey, I wanted to buy your bookand I was flat out honest with
him.
I go, but I want to buy it fromyou because I don't know how
all of it go to you.

Speaker 4 (54:32):
Amazon was getting a big cut out of it.

Speaker 3 (54:34):
He was like oh, I appreciate it, he goes.
No, all of it goes to me.
I go oh well, I just wanted tobuy it from you personally.
Then we clicked from there.

Speaker 2 (54:44):
Did he sign it for you?

Speaker 3 (54:46):
Yeah, clicked from there and yeah, and did he sign
it for you?
Yeah, yes, of course, yeah, um,so I signed it.
And uh, we've bought books fromhim and all that stuff.
So, yeah, no, his wife's anauthor too right.

Speaker 4 (54:55):
Yep, she's lovely.
She's lovely too, so yep, she.

Speaker 3 (54:58):
I always joke with her because she doesn't want to
read dune.
She says it's boring.
So I was like she's like, ohyeah, I want to find, I want to
read like a real big book.
I go dude, no, I don't want toread them it's boring, yeah,
she's.

Speaker 4 (55:12):
I mean they're both sweet, yeah, and they like.
He was actually doing ainterview at a.
Was it a bookstore in?
yeah, pentigo and pentigo okayand like we walked in late and
he was being interviewed at thisbookstore by another podcast
and he started talking about usas we walked in.
Oh wait, hold on.

(55:33):
So he said he was.
He was like inner beinginterviewed because oh big, uh,
bigfoot clubs here and you knowthey did one of the best
interviews.
I go, oh my god, jesus christ,he's telling them that we did
the best interview and he'sbeing interviewed by someone
else, like I go, oh my God, Ifelt so bad yeah.

Speaker 2 (55:49):
What I would have felt so good.

Speaker 4 (55:52):
I mean I was happy, but I felt bad for the lady that
was interviewing him.
So I don't know, I kind of yeah, that was us I have simply.

Speaker 3 (56:02):
But no, I think that's the only thing I'm doing.
I try to to read like booksfrom independent authors.
I don't um cause they theywrite really, really interesting
stories, because if you're afamous author like Stephen King,
you already know what he does.
He goes off the wall sometimesand I was like, I mean, I love
Stephen King, but I was like man.

(56:23):
I like horror books andpsychological horror books and
grief books, which Sean Warnertouches base on.

Speaker 4 (56:29):
He touches base on teen grief A lot of grief stuff,
yeah.

Speaker 3 (56:34):
And when I was a teenager, I went through a lot
of grief and I'm processing itand dealing with it in my own
way and I was, like man, I wishI had these books whenever I was
a teenager, because it's really, really highlighted all the
stuff I felt and all that stuff.
So, yeah, I love sean warnerhe's.
He's an amazing author he is.

Speaker 4 (56:51):
And I wanted to add also with this, kelly, that you
know, whenever I'm, whenever Iam writing stuff and I get stuck
, I'll walk over to steve and Isay, what do you think about
this?
Or I want to do this, I don'tknow how to get to this, and he
gives me feedback and like wetalk about it, and then he gives
me a good idea and then I I runwith it.
So if he says he's not, he'snot a writer, really, he kind of

(57:13):
is, cause he helps me wheneverI get stuck.

Speaker 2 (57:16):
Yeah, you're always so modest.

Speaker 3 (57:20):
I, it's just I have a couple ideas of books I want to
write.

Speaker 4 (57:29):
I books, I want to write.
I'm just too lazy.

Speaker 3 (57:30):
I feel you he's got a pc now so he he doesn't have an
excuse.

Speaker 2 (57:31):
I know, I know, damn it he does like he probably gets
distracted playing games on thepc and then he doesn't right,
yep, yep, there's so many gamesto play, it's a little time you
can relate to that

Speaker 1 (57:44):
mac, yeah, I can't relate to that never enough time
in the day, no or the nightnope, nope, mackie.
What do you?
What do you want?
To do whenever you grow up, Iwas thinking of plumbing or an
electrician.

Speaker 4 (57:59):
Okay, yeah I would say it was, if it was my.
If I were to go back in timeand do it again, I would be a
welder if it was my if I were togo back in time and do it again
, I would be a welder.
They make a lot of money.
They make a lot of moneyplumbing and hac yeah they, they
make really good money.
But if I were to go back intime, I would.
I would go back to be a welder, that's just me plumbing and

(58:21):
electrician do both.

Speaker 2 (58:22):
Yeah, start a company that doesn't I don't know like
you can make so much like sidemoney doing that, because
there's always somebody lookingfor that.
But yeah, we got him.
He's all set up.
Next year he's going to go tothe tech college that's by us
for part of school and so thenhe can use that credit towards

(58:43):
his college if it's somethingthat pertains that credit
towards his college.

Speaker 3 (58:48):
If he, if it's something that pertains, so he's
kind of getting a head start onthat stuff and make sure that
he likes before he dives all theway in.

Speaker 2 (58:53):
So then you can kind of get a feel.
For if he wants to do plumbing, electrician cabinetry, I think
they have welding, they haveconcrete like a bunch of stuff,
so he'll kind of get to dabblein all of that and then decide
if that's anything that he'sinterested in.

Speaker 4 (59:09):
That's awesome.
Yeah, that is awesome.
See, I knew Mac was a good kid,I knew it.

Speaker 2 (59:16):
I mean, I think he's the best.

Speaker 4 (59:18):
Macety Mac.

Speaker 2 (59:20):
Macety Mac Don't, mac back Don't.

Speaker 3 (59:23):
Really Macety.

Speaker 4 (59:26):
Mac, don't Mac back Mac.
Do people call you Big Mac?

Speaker 1 (59:29):
yeah, actually a couple of people when he was a
baby.

Speaker 2 (59:34):
I called him Baby Mac , baby Mac, little Mac.

Speaker 3 (59:39):
Macastoris Macula Macadocious there's so many
Macaroni Manicotti.
Yes, so delicious macadociousthere's so many macaroni
manicotti yes mackinoy, ahoymccoy iMac, macbook Pro, imac,
they're just infinite nicknames?

Speaker 2 (59:58):
yep, yeah, I have no nicknames, and this kid has a
bajillion answers to anything.

Speaker 4 (01:00:03):
Give us time, kelly.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
We'll work on you, we'll work on you and we'll and
if Mac talks back, you're alllike are you talking to Mac?

Speaker 2 (01:00:09):
Yeah, Don't be talking, smack Mac.

Speaker 1 (01:00:14):
Oh my God, you just don't stop thinking of mom.

Speaker 3 (01:00:19):
Once we get rolling, we kind of just keep rolling.

Speaker 4 (01:00:23):
That's Bigfoot club style.

Speaker 2 (01:00:24):
Yeah, see, that's me Bigfoot club style Some.

Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
that's me Bigfoot club style.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
Some people are like Big Willie style, but we're
Bigfoot club style oh, show forlife.

Speaker 4 (01:00:35):

Speaker 4 (01:01:05):

Yes, sorry, sorry, I had tocorrect that so that way they
can find it monica gallagher.
Monica gallagher, yes, she isamazing.
Yes, you guys follow her oninstagram so I can find her from
there.
Yeah, I think she's at?

Speaker 2 (01:01:17):
she's at monica comics?
I think so.
At monica comics.
Yeah, I was excited last night, robert.

Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
I was excited to see what some of her artwork looked
like it's awesome yeah, it'sreally unique, really good yeah,
no, what you said you wanted toyeah, she cusses a lot too, so
it's kind of cool.

Speaker 4 (01:01:32):
I love that because she asks this is it okay if I
cuss, I go.

Speaker 2 (01:01:37):
Yes, god damn it cuss that's right, better fucking
cuss damn it yeah, so she'ssuper amazing.

Speaker 4 (01:01:49):
I, I don't know, I can't can't say enough good
things about her, so I'm gettingjealous peeps so what's?
What's funny is that my, myolder brother doesn't know her,
but he told me he goes, hey, yougot to get her on your, your
show.
And I told her that.
I said I got my older brotherhe does like an indie comic too
and he told me I had to have youon.

(01:02:11):
So you know, I'm asking you tocome on.
So did?
she know him no, she don't knowhim at all, so he just saw her
work and yeah, yeah, he saw herwork and he just said hey, you
need to cause like he'll do thatto me, he'll call me, he goes.
Hey, you should get this personon your, on your show and I go
okay.

Speaker 2 (01:02:29):
People do that to me all the time I tried to get um.
I tried to get Kylie Kelsey onmy podcast.

Speaker 4 (01:02:47):
And then instead of her coming on our podcast you
inspired, her in a way?

Speaker 2 (01:02:52):
yeah that's what.
That's what my friend told me.
She's like, look at you, you,you put the bug in her and now
she's just doing her own podcast.
I'm like, well, she could haveat least agreed to do an
interview with me.

Speaker 3 (01:03:02):
I mean, that would have been fair right, yeah, she
looked at it goes.
I don't want to be on someone'sproject.

Speaker 2 (01:03:06):
Probably got the idea from her husband, but I mean
whatever.

Speaker 3 (01:03:11):
No, we're going to give you credit.
Kelly Zurich.
Yeah, we're going to give youcredit on that one.

Speaker 4 (01:03:17):
Thanks, how's your chicken baby Good?

Speaker 2 (01:03:20):
but she's the first one to hatch and I just feel
like she's the first one tohatch and I just feel like she's
so lonely I gotta bring herupstairs Sometimes she's down
there like chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp, and
I'm worried, like is she okay?

Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
Yeah, she probably is lonely.

Speaker 2 (01:03:37):
So I'm like come on, other babies start hatching and
then they'll probably all hatchat the same time and then it'll
be chaos.

Speaker 5 (01:03:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:03:49):
Oh be chaos.
Yeah, oh crap.
I want to be lonely again, didyou like?
That usually thriving chaos, because then I have to deal with
it versus like oh it's fine,I'm fine, everything's fine
paisley.
yeah, lonely, lone bunny.
He's noisy at night.
Yeah, we have a, we have ahouse bunny and he, yeah, and he
just we call him the trollunder the bridge because he just
basically lives under my bedand then comes out to eat.
But he's old, he's like eightand a half.

(01:04:11):
That's old for money, but helikes food.
That's all he cares about.
And if I, he always gets like asalad at night with like
carrots and blackberries, andthen if I get to bed and I
forget to give it to him, he'lllike stomp at me.
Bitch, go get my salad.

Speaker 3 (01:04:30):
It's funny when they get angry.

Speaker 2 (01:04:31):
It's like a tantrum.
It is Thumper.

Speaker 3 (01:04:34):
Okay, thumper Jeez Like dang.

Speaker 4 (01:04:40):
How long do you do a show?

Speaker 2 (01:04:43):
