Speaker 2 (01:39):
We're a brigade of roughly twenty one hundred soldiers dispersed
through the continental United States. Have four different locations. Right now,
we have soldiers that are forward at the southern border.
Our brigade is actually the first folks done at the
border at the beginning of the support to our federal
and local state law enforcement brethren. We also have folks
(02:00):
over in Europe, and we also send soldiers out to
the Pacific and the Peninsula and South Korea. We're kind
of spread all over the place. We have very diverse
different mission sets and we're here to enable and support
our maneuver units, both combat and others.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Community integration is a part of this. Or you've got
partner cities that do include Austin and lad Passes.
Speaker 2 (02:24):
Yeah, we do. We partner with schools and other organizations
to enhance and build the trust between the military and
our local communities, something that we pride ourselves in doing,
and we really enjoy some stuff that we do with
them as local annual breads, Memorial Day remembrances. We go
to different schools and our soldiers read to the kids
(02:44):
and it seems to be a very good program that
everybody really likes, and we do that quite often. Now.
Speaker 1 (02:49):
There's also a partnership too with Baylor University's athletic department.
Let's discuss that just a moment, sir.
Speaker 2 (02:55):

ball salutes. We attends with them that choose our commitment
to the communities and appreciation to what they do for
the military and what we can provide each other.

we are still in the fight, YEA.
Speaker 2 (03:13):
So we are. We have more than fourteen hundred soldiers
from Fort Hood currently deployed around the world. They're in Europe,
South Korea, South America, Africa, and the Middle East. We're
doing very diverse mission sets. We are working alongside and
partnering with our allies and partner nations to ensure security
and peace across the globe. And Fort Hood and especially
(03:35):
Third Armor Corps soldiers are very much involved in that
and we'll continue to be involved in that.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
And we would appreciate if you keep all of our
soldiers that are deployed, as well as their families in
your thoughts on prayers for sure.
