Speaker 3 (01:10):
Yeah, yes, sir. So that's being held next week and
it'll be from six to nine pm on October seventh
at the Fan of Warriam Stadium. The event is hosted
by the Director of Emergency Services and the Cavalry Family
Housing and this aims to raise crime prevention awareness and
strengthen the police community partnerships. This is a family friendly event.
It's open to all residents of Fort Hood, including those
(01:31):
living in the Bear, and it should be a very
good event to build camaraderie and community interconnectedness.
Speaker 2 (01:38):
Community resources, family activity. So there's something for everyone involved
with that. Yes, sir, we're speaking this morning with Lieutenant
Colonel Michael Pasqually, eighty nine Military Police Brigade Deputy Commanding Officer.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
Sir.
Speaker 2 (01:50):
Let's talk just a moment about eighty nine MP and
more specifically protecting border security and the fact that you're
in Europe as well.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
We were actually the first activeduty military to go down
to the border to secure the southern border alongside our
interagency partners such as Department of Homeland Security and Customers
and Border Protection. It's been about nine months since I've
been down there. We first started across the entirety of
the border, and then we kind of reconsolidated and moved
over to California and Arizona and still parts of Texas.
(02:22):
We were looking forward to get in the units back
at some point. They've been down there working pretty hard
with our interagency partners to help bolster and protect and
secure our southern borders of our nation. And we also
have units out in Europe. We routinely rotate out to
Europe and at times into Pecon. We currently are serving
in Eastern Europe and working with our allies and our
(02:44):
partners to help secure and create a more security focused
environment out there and to build and become closer to
our allies and partners.
Speaker 2 (02:55):
We're still in the FI Just as a reminder, more
than eighteen hundred soldiers currently deployed around the world. Please
keep our soldiers that are deployed, as well as their
families and your thoughts and prayers as they continue to
serve our great nation. We've been speaking this morning with
Lieutenant Colonel Michael Pasquale, eighty nine Military Police Brigade Deputy
(03:16):

have a wonderful weekend.
