This week, we are welcoming another family member onto the bus! In Episode 21, Cammi’s brother, Don Granato, joins us! Donny is currently the Interim Head Coach for the Buffalo Sabres and has spent his entire life around hockey. He has played goalie and forward, been a coach at every level, college, AHL, NHL and Olympic, worked with the US Development Program and scouted. He’s done it all!
In their conversation with Donny, the three talk about his position with the Sabres and getting the team back on track, his battle with cancer and his sudden illness last year, how a coach can help build confidence in players, the benefit of going through adversity, AJ and Cammi pick his brain for the coach's perspective, he tells a few stories from when he and Cammi were growing up and we had to ask about his new nickname from Sabres fans, “Donny Meatballs.”
Catch all this and much more on the bus!
