John Orfanidis- mainly known as Johnny O is just a lab guy that was very fortunate to be at the right place at the right time . was involved with 3M lava in the early stages and had one of the first invivo articles published in the U.S for lava. He was involved with bringing the first haptic run digital system for dental with the first partial software from sensible technologies .He was running a small lab in Boston and began doing research on zirconia and had papers published for the 3 year and 5 year study for zirconia . At that point he was a research associate at tufts university school for dental medicine and later became the digital trainer of all systems at the school for the post graduate prosthodontic department under Dr. Hiroshi Hirayama, during that time exocad decided to enter the us market and was started in his lab with Larry bodony who is still the President of exocad North America.. he now has a lab with 2 partners - Ralph rega and richard chun in tampa named Ameri-dent . Ameri-dent - designed and manufactured in the USA-
