Famed reggae singer Bob Marley preached love, peace, and unity of all humankind in his music that spanned the edge of the world. In his bid to stop the violence burgeoning in his home country of Jamaica from two opposing political groups, Bob came together with his band The Wailers and held a free concert promoting peace. But before the concert, he would be gunned down in his house with his wife and bandmates viciously and just barely make it out alive. Today we dive deep into Bob Marley's rise to fame, what happened during this assassination attempt, and what came about his life after.
