pod listening back so here we are to prop it up again.
There he is. Man, you're lucky you haven't
been dropped to the Rezis. Back to the seconds.
That's what they thought. That's.
What last week was? Yeah, basically in.
Fact with chat like that, if anyone wants to put their hand
up and become a full time member, let's see how let's see

(01:18):
if you just can replace yeah. Please.
Already been done, Morgan. He's across the table.
Yeah, thanks. Having me back, me and Billy got
swamped when we did it for if wehave a week with Hendo, we
basically got swamped with requests to pretty much.
Run your Chuck Chuck. Pete into the into the falls.
And rightly so. It's interesting.
Tonight we've got Speaking of Billy, he's down the end of the
table. Hello.

(01:39):
Making yourself look. Thanks.
For joining us, making captain, good skipper.
And we got 2 maroons people. Yeah, celebrating A2 Let's.
Go, let's go, baby. 21V not. Two, let's go, baby.
Let's get it, Let's get it. Beautiful, beautiful.
Come back. What a game, what a game, what a
game, what a coach, what a bloody tell you what.
What a feeling. What a Tommy Dearden, what a.
Feeling. What a boy Tommy Dearden is.

(02:01):
That was the best game I think I've ever seen him play.
Amazing. Hmm.
Just hair bouncing and flowing. Man of a match, man of a series,
man of my life. What kind of club team look like
that? Ohh God, you imagine.
He kind of did on Sunday. No, I just didn't have 16 people
going with him. Tom, Tommy must come back.
I I mean the whole team, yeah. Not, not just Tommy.

(02:22):
Tommy is fine. Tommy must come back and go.
Where's my boys? Where's my boys?
You're not here where you're meant to be.
You're fucking letting people through gaps.
Like where's my boys? Yeah, and he gets bullied at
training. Like, oh guys, here's the big
show. Probably.
Probably, but Jackie wore his medal in.
You'd wear your medal in with the training you'd have.
To a. 100%. Yeah, he would.

(02:42):
Yeah, I'd walk in Conor McGregorstyle.
Yeah, yeah, He would just open, open the can of Pepsi with your
medal, like just oh, sorry, but was it denied his hardest?
But he had two, he had the the Lewis medal in the man of the
match. You just have them clanging.
Yeah, clanging. Coming down the hallway, Yeah.
And even if they weren't clanging, you'd, you'd you'd
move them. Yeah, you'd just bashing them
around. And he gets up.
Champ is here. The champ is here.

(03:04):
Gets up the front and says I'd like to apologise to absolutely
nobody. Yeah, Double Champ does what he
wants that. Is an amazing pro mobile Connor
back in the day when he was actually a good guy.
Who? Connor McGregor, of course.
Yes, back when he was a good guyon the ranch. nq.myshopfire.com
hats panicons. Not many left stickers.

(03:25):
They're going out the door. Out the door, run out sale.
Run it well, there's no sale. But could you say it's Rob's
Persian drug company? Pete's Persian Rug Company.
Pat, that's a good rhyme. Pete's Persian.
Rug. He's the one that comes up with
the merch. Ideas.
That's what he is so. If you've got ideas, Persian
rugs. Yep.
That's not bad. I wanna keep on dancing.
I haven't. Pete's Persian rugs.

(03:46):
No, that's terrible. Can we just delete that?
Let's start again. Yeah, get rid of that.
Well, that could be a ringtone. Look crazy from.
Patreon.com look crazy. You used to have to pay a dollar
for that song. People bought it.
They did. They did a good 40 odd minutes
of chatter. Good chatter.
Helping keeping the lights on a.Little bit of TVA, little bit of
a lot of cars, a little bit of nostalgia.

(04:08):
Quite a bit of cars in 90s and early 2000s nostalgia.
How we all grew up. Yeah, I'll tell you what take.
Some of us. Sorry, Bill.
Take Yeah, I wasn't born yet forthe most part.
Yeah, as I said, I was in primary school during the early
2000s. Yeah.
So was I, Yeah. Yeah, exactly.
We're we graduated together. Yeah.
But for real, Yeah. Settle down.

(04:29):
Settle down anyway. That's brought to you by ESPF.
That's ES property and finance. If you go to patreon.com, that
is brought to you by ESPF. Yep, property and finance if
you're selling or buying. Contracted to say that that's
part of my deal. Oh.
Is it? Is it in the fine print?
Did you DocuSign that? No, I don't DocuSign anything
like share subscribe. Going to note down the Times Now

(04:49):
just so I can just put that in make it look really good.
speedpipe.com slash on the ranch.
Send us a thought, send us a message.
We've got a special way of making that happen this week.
And we'll describe that one downnear the tipping comp and it's
it's, you're going to want to it.
Sounds exciting. It sounds exciting.
You're going to want to. Yeah, you're going to want to.

(05:10):
And I think actually mix it up alittle too.
I've got an idea to mix it up, make it equal plan.
It on the fly. On the fly.
Is there ideas man over here? I remember it by the end of the
night. Marty McFly maybe?
Hello. 10 bucks have. You got 5 minutes if I regal you
with a tail, if you don't mind. It's about Marty McFly.

(05:31):
Here we go, now he's. I might just go get some beasts.
No, no, this is you want. To Fast forward through this
section. Sort of involves everyone on
this one. So this guy, come on.
Marty McFly, played by the greatMichael J Fox in Back to the
Future. Written and directed by Rob
Zemeckis. Unbelievable.
Sounds like Titanic trivia. It's a bit like that, but it's
not really. So in 1985, Marty finds himself

(05:52):
in a DeLorean from some crack wise man, Doc Brown, played by
great Christopher Lloyd. How did they meet?
Don't know. That's a weird one.
Yeah, that is a weird one. I mean, they meet in 1955, so
you can understand that friendship from dockside.
I get that side. Yeah, Wiley old scientists, I
think. Miley old, wasn't he?
And a young punk. Teenager.

(06:12):
Punk teenager. I think I had like a shed
somewhere and I think Marty was poking man in a.
Shed or something Marty was smoking something in it was shed
or whatever. Stay away.
Careful what you're saying. Stay away from George and
Lorraine anyhow, so in in 1985, he he gets back in the future in
a in a homemade backyard DeLorean to 1955, where Biff

(06:36):
Tannins there, played by the great Thomas Wilson.
And obviously there's a lot of stuff that happens and and shit
goes. If you haven't seen it, just go
watch back to the future. One of the greatest movies.
Spoilers, people. Wasn't that?
One of the greatest movies. Well, it's in the title now.
That was in 1985, and he went back 30 years to 1955.
Yep. Now, if there was like an an

(06:58):
Australian Marty McFly, let's just call him Morgan Holmes
Evans for argument's sake. Like Gavin?
Or a Gavin or a. Bravin, Smith, Gazza.
For a Baza 1. 100 and you could have chosen from.
And he hops into a homemade backyard DeLorean and goes back
30 years. Or be a bit.
To 1995 right yeah 1995 is when the Cowboys entered the entered

(07:22):
into the comp and there was a lot of wrongs that could have
been written right Allah same principle as as Scott Bakula
played Sam in quantum leap everytime traveled back and he left
from place to place trying to read right wrongs where once
weren't right Yep. And each leap trying to find his
leap home. If you could travel back to

(07:43):
1995, what changes would you would you just tell them, hey
guys, don't sign Martin Bella, don't don't get this guy.
And we don't need chains. We what?
What would you? What would you?
You had pass on Shane's. That'd be my biggest.
But mind you, it wasn't Shane's fault.
I mean like, I don't care. Can can we introduce a better
club culture? Can we make 1995 Cowboys like a

(08:05):
Bellamy Hard School of Knox where you go into a trade for a
bit as well? I reckon first up I would have
invited Renee to a school dance in year 7/19/95.
That was a mistake not doing that regretted to this day.
Secondly, I wouldn't have hired this day to this day.
Shout out Renee, you know I wouldn't.
Oh, Lee, you're engaged. Shut out.

(08:26):
I I would have not signed over the coming years all of the,
let's call them Dad's Army and would have tried to play the
play with young kids and do a bit more organic.
Getting their retirement fund. With their retirement village.
Yeah, yeah, maybe tried to get through the young kids a bit
more. That theatre, correct?
Yeah. I would have gone more local.
I would have pissed. I would not have gone anywhere

(08:47):
near Shane's. Yeah, that could have been I.
Think he was, Yep, divisive I. Think he would.
We've tried to have. Hey, look, I know super leagues
coming. You're probably going to sign
with them, but don't asshole, Kerry boasted.
He was the main drive behind here and after six weeks you
asshole him, maybe don't do that.
Yeah, a few things. There'd be a few things you'd
sort of, you know, but 2020 hindsight.
Yeah, that's what I mean, like 30 year anniversary, we could go

(09:10):
back into 1995. 1999 That's whenI finished high school.
I've got a question for you guys.
That's when I finished primary school.
Off the Dome. We haven't prepared this.
If it wasn't gonna be called North Queensland Cowboys, what
would you call the team? We'll.
See, this is the other thing when you can try and travel back
and you can create your own team.
Other names. Yeah.
You got any ready to go? Like anything you've always
liked. Queensland, but you can't have
crocodiles. I mean, that's the obvious.

(09:31):
Yeah, you wouldn't have the Crocs.
You couldn't. But I would.
I would I. Would be a bit of a missive.
Hey, we're going the Crocs game.Yeah, no worries.
We'll meet you out at Dairy Farmers.
Everyone's at the entertainment centre.
Might be known to go the Suns at95 that might have been
available for. The.
Suns. It's not bad 'cause it's hot up
here. North QLD.
Suns. Well, you could have gone the
well the fire. Yeah, fire is pretty good.
But now you've got the town. You guys having military right

(09:53):
you go a north QLD commandos or the no?
Commandos. North QLD.
You take Blackhawks before. Blackhawks That makes a lot of
sense, doesn't it? Blackhawks it's right in front
of. You.
Yeah, yes, yeah. Or you just like Northern pride?
Yeah, Northern pride is good. Northern pride is bloody good.
Tell you what, cake like cane? Cutters.
Cane cutter Pride and the Blackhawks sees they've played

(10:14):
off their regions. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
They've done a better job. They've they've done well.
Not that Cowboys is a bad. I do like the Cowboys, actually.
Like it? Yeah.
I struggle. Are you?
Are you? I used to struggle quite a bit
of the Cowboys. No.
But see, I like, I like it. It's just got an image down
South, you know. But yeah, you know, it's got a
bit of a. Oh, 'cause we were shit for so
long so everyone called us Cowgirls, that's why.

(10:36):
To the point where it's a bit. It's a bit out, a bit menoising.
Now they bring out as entertainment for the VA.
It's the PBR. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Lean into it. And they're like, oh, this is
appropriate for the regions. Like, well, I haven't seen
anybody bull riding down the middle of Flinders St.
Well, yeah. We have the PB.
I have seen cows before. I've seen that.
I've seen. Seen plenty of cows down

(10:56):
Flinders. Street.
I've seen a few. Sorry, I mean, there's just one
on Matt the Mad Cow. Yeah.
Yeah, yeah. Shout out to Mad Cow by.
The way when you but when you think of team got.
A big shout out during the week in the podcast.
It's. Been around for 30 odd years.
Yeah, yeah, go mad, cow. Big shout out during the week in
the podcast. Yeah, on one of the The Storm
podcast. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
Yeah, they told the story about you spelling me Hughes asking

(11:17):
the Yeah, but most of my Hughes want in the bottle of red in the
mad cow. You see that?
Oh, I didn't see that. 10 OK. I don't know.
They were telling the story about Bellamy getting the lost.
Getting the lost up on Castle Hill.
Well, the quick version is they, you know, I've got the section
for the storm pliers, right? And they will go in there in a
little section and, you know, the Macau post who's like, you
know, what do you want, boys? What are you going to drink?
Yeah. And I think it's huge.

(11:38):
He goes, what Reds have you got?And she goes, guys, it's yeah,
for Macau. Like we're not, we're not a wine
bar, you know. Yeah, Yeah.
She told it better. He told it better.
Yeah, yeah. Actually the Mad cow was the
after party for the supercars as.
Well, yeah, speak FO yeah, yeah,I saw that very green, very
green. That's.
What they do, they call it the Green Room.
Do they? Yeah, That's, that's a surfing

(11:58):
thing. The green room.
Yeah, the green room, when you're in the in the tube, right
in the wave, you're in the greenroom.
Is that what they call it? Yeah, because you're in a tube.
That's a tube. No, because it's green.
The water's green, but blue ocean, it's green and you're in
the green room. Is that right?
Yeah, we're going way off topic.I like the Townsville, the North
Queensland Can cutters. North Queensland mad cows.

(12:19):
That's good too. I still like the Cowboys, like
we got a good mascot. Like we can wrangle shit like
actually being like a Roosters. Like I like sad little.
Our mascot is a. 1 foot 1 foot high.
Chalk, our mascot. Not a bulldog, a bloody cattle
dog. It could have been the cattle
dogs. It's pretty good.
That's something. That's something it's.
Too closer to. Bulldogs.
I would have liked the crocodiles if we hadn't got to

(12:41):
it before the basketball did. Well, actually, because.
The basketball was around before.
No, but that was the sun still Crocs went till 9697.
It was not a big. Crocs.
Now the Crocs were 93. You're true.
Oh. The Suns.
Now, the Suns were. Yeah, well, Crocs found in 93.
I don't know, I think. If a cans type hands, that's a
good name. I know that's what that's
saying. That's so good.

(13:02):
That is a good name. But but I reckon that's.
Why Northern Pride? I don't think you can beat it,
but Northern Pride, it says everything about everything.
There's no mascot, there's no thing like.
You can make it. You know, at least you can go
and kick a chalk or you. Can roll Bob Cutter out Northern
Pride? You can fish for some shark like
a Panther is like. Have you met someone with more
Northern pride than Bob Cutter now?

(13:24):
Mascot is is the hat the cowboy hat?
It's just a cowboy. Hat, and that's what we are.
We're Cowboys because it's just a bit of northern.
I mean, being the Cowboys does encapsulate that that.
Whole region. It does, and I've grown into it.
That's the whole belt. Yes, yeah, that's.
It's the northern belt, yeah. Like a Ryan.

(13:44):
Why is that a bad thing? Because it.
Was pretty much the belt of Kennedy.
Well, it's. There be some people wanting up
for that. Well, that's pretty much.
The whole strip across the north.
Queensland, I tell you, I tell you.
You probably line up some of those crimps for a cater belt
too. Hey, you give them the strap.
I've grown used to her Cowboys, but you know, back in the day,

(14:04):
back in. A few Marty McFly you do it and
just change the name but then change it back.
That or two the name. And what about the possibly of
the players? Blue, yellow, grey, white.
I like them. Yeah.
Yeah, I like them. What if not so much?
Grey. I'm not big on grey.
I like. I don't mind.
Yeah, I like the grey. What?
Shits me is men is Morone and white QLD colours and they're in
the heart of the peninsula in NSW.

(14:26):
Like they should not have Matt Morone.
I don't know if theirs is moroneit's as it is.
It's very much Moraine. It's not, I don't know, colours.
Not like, oh, it's an offshade burgundy.
Yeah, let's call it offshade Burgundy, not Morone.
Could be red, dark red, It's. Good for daily Cherry Evans, OH.
Not too soon, not really. Too soon.
Oh, did you see that he sent Tommy a message after one?

(14:48):
Look, he's a classy. Gentleman, he's a class actor.
Shout out to you, DC. Just don't trust anything, he
signs. That's true.
That's true. No backsies.
That's that's too so. Yeah, it's raining white.
Aaron Parkinson said, is it justme or do we have a lot of
players with calf injuries this season?
I know you mentioned earlier this season the players were
looking gassed. Perhaps conditional training was
increased and the bodies aren't handling it.
We definitely lost that game through too many errors.

(15:10):
Again, how do you reckon this can be fixed?
PS No speak pipe for me. I much prefer Rob's voice than
mine or Morgan's or Billy's. And pesto live he's on if he's
on. Thanks a lot.
Thanks, Aaron. Let's show on your attendance.
Here that that is, yeah. You're right, that is 100%
accurate. Thanks for your message, Aaron.
That is a Corker. Three this year.
Love your workout? That's very nice.

(15:30):
That's. More than anyone else's, Miss
not. Just free the whole episode, the
whole podcast, actually, maybe acouple of.
The OG I'm the founding father. This doesn't exist without me.
Hey, hey. And this guy, I said it.
This guy over here. OK.
All right. That's good.
Oh yeah, now you look, you can have some props.
Yeah, QLD. Absolutely.
We always say. We always say our conditioning

(15:50):
and the weather up here is meantto be our secret weapon.
But you're right, we do always look gas and it's hot.
I don't think it's a secret weapon.
No. No, no, it is this time of year.
It's our secret weapon because it's still hot for the other
touring teams and it's comfortable for us to play in.
I don't know, they only have to like, Toddy said.
They only have to come up and endure 48 hours tops when you

(16:11):
have to train it and slug it outlike.
Well, we you what? You work outside.
Yeah, so does Bill, basically. No, I try not.
Sometimes we all do from time totime.
Look, you know as well as I do, even if you're at home during a
30ยฐ summer in their pre season, the Cowboys pre season training,
you'd be sapped, absolutely sapped of energy for the entire

(16:31):
for three months. Yeah, 100%.
And then you come out to your first gap, you're looking
forward to a rest. There is none like your rest is
at the start of summer, Yeah. Yep.
What about they don't do outsidetraining, they just hit the
books in the in the class. Just hit the books.
Hit the books, you know? Yeah.
Study study game plan. Visualization.
Look, if we if we pre appropriate this then we can

(16:52):
just. It's like, you know, in NFL they
have the book of plays and all the routes and the X's and you
know, you just gotta. Do that you just.
Gotta study it. Just study it up, boys.
Yeah, hit the hip of classroom. Tell you what to look.
Stupidest idea I've ever had from you.
Looking at some of our attack light, there probably wouldn't.
Hurt, maybe a bit of defence, just quietly.
Wow, that's probably. Yeah, how to pack a line?

(17:12):
It's above all now. Someone's put a line in here and
it's he's probably sitting beside me.
Well, hang on, hang on quickly. Can we, can we go back to
Aaron's here? Oh.
Sorry Aaron, I missed a. Spot I think part.
Did I missed too many errors or all of it?
But I think we do have quite a few injuries lately, right?
Yeah. Yeah, but there's a lot of years
when we don't. Few and far between.
You take it. What have we got?
What have we got? ACL, ACL, calf, foot, jaw, a lot

(17:35):
of soft tissue. There's a lot of calf.
A lot of soft tissue. There's Tamilo.
McLean and McIntyre have calves. How do we have so many calf
injuries? Clifford with a quad.
Batman with a groin. Overuse Billy Army of Bilaya
with a foot. I think Pete put a groin.
Did he? We do a lot of Acls.
We do, that's what I'm saying, Luke, he's done two in a row or

(17:55):
something like we, we do a lot of Acls.
Yeah, no, he's done two in a row.
No, I don't know, maybe the training is.
Been caught? Maybe it's been harder.
Can we do a Can we do a hardnesstest on the training paddock?
Yeah, we need Ash Graham in here.
We do. Pretty sure he's our strength
and conditioning coach. We need to get him in here and
when he's asking some questions, yeah, the high performance guy
or or girl. It's, it's yeah.
They're not living up to the jobtitle, are they?

(18:17):
No. So this is a thing.
If I'm being brutally honest. There's another sport in
Australia, right, where they hada team in Australia who had a
lot of soft tissue Acls and injuries and they found that the
training Oval was harder than itshould have been.
They got a test done. They had like a little meter
that they stuck. In harder than it should.
Have been and it turns out that the ground was causing a lot of
injuries because it's too hard. And now they or they always say

(18:37):
these grounds where the, the theturf flicks up, you know, like
Suncorp after three days of of magic round and they blame Acls
on that. But they reckon that if you've
got more give, I think it was NRL physio, it was saying it's
actually, it is, it is actually the harder surface that causes
more issues that. Makes sense.
I mean a bit of a bit of softness I think would be more

(18:58):
forgiving on your joints. Which is odd because I prefer to
run on the road instead of running on the grass because.
But you're not changing direction and you're.
Not yeah, but you know, you're also suppose on the road, you're
not worrying about a pothole or a little divot or something.
But also you have massive. Also not elite.
Level you got massive cushion onyour shoes that are that big.
You don't have like a hard sole with spikes.
This is. True.

(19:19):
And these guys are at the absolute limit of what yes,
their bodies can be pushed. To ragged Edge.
For the most part. So you're saying we need to get
a soil scientist? Do we know any?
Yes, into QCB. Take some samples.
Get him out of retirement. Yes, he's not.
That's why I'm retirement. Yet he's still currently.
You're retired. He's still going.

(19:40):
He's. Still going it.
He's still doing it. Can we put in an emergency phone
call? And we'll see the issue is.
Rest Ross Jesus. Yeah, no.
No, no, Ross, you're coming backto Among the Souls.
Pack your bag. If it's for footy only or sports
only, it's not a drama, it's when you have concerts and all
other shit that really stuff up the surface.
Does Pink's fault? I don't think that stuffs up the

(20:01):
surface that much. Yeah, look, I can't relate like
he does, but if you've got a girl wearing a stiletto high
heel, it is just horrendous for the undergrowth.
But she's not walking on the bare surface.
Yeah, they put. Them out there but there's still
always gonna be chances it's. Compaction.
They they they lay out a surfacefor people to walk on.

(20:22):
Maybe I need to do? Not Nitro surface.
That isn't meant to be covered though.
Yeah, like. Yeah, that's the other.
Thing there is that part, yeah. Yeah, like when you put the pool
in the backyard for the kids or whatever, and then you leave it
there for three days and then you move it and all the grass is
like yellow. That's why I don't leave it.
I always, yeah. That's why whenever they say,
oh, we wanna get the pool out, Igo, Oh my grass.

(20:43):
We can put it on the driveway and.
Also. Out on put out on, go down the
street. Also, the grass at QCB was grown
in a factory down South, not in rigorous North Queensland
environment. Is that right?
It's not even homegrown QLD grass.
You know that for sure. Is it?
Is it to Homer A. Bit of insight.
They said it when they were laying it in 2020.

(21:05):
Oh, OK. Yeah, they even.
Bought it, It's a factory factory grown grass down South
so it hasn't had the actual Townsville climate.
Now you would think it would adapt after five years, but if
it's not suited for temperaturesabove 25ยฐ then wouldn't.
They in the factory have the conditions.
You would think this, but when you've got textbook scientists

(21:26):
that haven't been to North Queensland to study, that what
they need to know. Normally I'd argue with you,
but. What I'm hearing is we've got
the man for the job, yeah. I've had I've had some insights
with the wily old Fox on everything wrong with what
they've done over a couple of. GCV over a couple of bottles of
red, no doubt. Casks.
Pete. Asks Pete.
You've got phone numbers in yourphone to connect these people

(21:48):
together. This could happen.
He. Does.
Yeah, this is the guy with the contact.
I gently suggest we make a connection.
Put it this way. Hey, Benny, do you want, do you
want me dad to come out and tellyou what's wrong with your
grasp? Yeah, I've got a media
commitment to do. He doesn't.
I have two robs in his phone andone does solar but.
You're still solar. I'm never changing your name.

(22:08):
You are always solar, Rob. Good.
Good, that's what I want to be. Just got my solar replaced
incidentally. So yes, Aaron, there's probably
a shade that could be the surface that's causing Acls and
carved issues. Could be, could be.
So if you're listening QCB curators, get your shit
together. Do the QCB?
Do the QCB curators also curate the Hutchinson Centers fields?

(22:28):
You have to. Assume.
Thank you. Yeah, well, surely you're not
getting another person in. I don't know.
You're not getting Jims mowing in mate.
Because Hutchinson Centre's not QCB state it's not the same
people. Yeah, but it's not you've been
so. You're right.
Have you been to a live trainingsession?
You know how they do open outdoor fan day training I.
Still have not. Next time you go to that and
have a look at how the grass doesn't get cut up compared to

(22:51):
two minutes of game time or. Maybe that's a bad thing.
Yeah, because they're training on a proper field.
Maybe they're training where a. Field.
That's too hard. Maybe or vice versa.
That's why they're doing their calves and that's why Jake
Clifford, who did his mod in training.
On the last goal kick to. Yep, the.
Toys away. QCB hasn't got a concrete base
has it? It was dirt and then they put

(23:12):
grass on top. They never concreted it and then
put dirt. On that and that's I'm pretty
sure it's all compacted. Yeah.
OK. All right.
That's a good thing, all right. But I know, I know some places
have concrete and then they put the stuff on top and it never
works. Good.
I know, I know there and. There's only so much root that
you can grow into. I know QCB and Suncorp drain a
whole lot better than a core. Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.

(23:33):
International is a mess that's meant to be like their pride of
their bloody 8. $100 million stadium or something, and it's
basically a swimming pool. Swamp pit.
That's because they didn't do their research like when dairy
farmers. You know what they didn't do?
They didn't get a qualified geologist, yes, who has spent
correct his lifetime. Well, he was part of Stockland
Stadium when they before that got billed really, and he did

(23:54):
all plots and samples and everything around.
We should get it wrong. We should get it wrong.
And they did it for the highest amount of rain record ever in
Townsville, which was something like the 91 floods.
It was unbelievable. It was like 7-8 hundred mil in
about an 8 hour period. That all so.
That's We just shrugged. This off anymore?
So we put it in the in his report and findings and

(24:17):
everything to go righto. We can make it 1200 mil.
If we've had 12 hours of rain and there's 1200 mil we can
still play with 1/2 hour stoppage.
It will be drained completely. That's impressive.
That's all this study and everything that goes into it.
And then like you said, you haveChuck rock concerts and
everything else out there and itjust fucks the drainage and

(24:38):
undergrowth and. They would have built it to a
price. And they would have.
Yeah, Yeah. And then like I know you say you
put mats down, you got crusty deems and all this, but you're
still clogging your pores and drainages like it's a stadium
for footy, not for anything else.
Yeah, I'm with you. Yeah, I know we're here.
I know what you're saying. You need to get Coochie.
Ever. Picking up what you're putting
down, Coochie. Yeah, Coochie Hydro Green.

(24:58):
They come out and they spray your grass.
You don't know this? No.
Oh, my. I've seen your grass.
Don't worry. I know.
You don't know I. Don't think you have seen my
grass. Not for a while, no.
I've seen yours. Everyone has, everyone's gotten
it. Absolutely horrendous last week
not knowing or remember remembering Shane Watson or to
make it up to. That was.
Oh, Watson. I'm gonna do my best not to
swear in this, but that was freaking hard listening.

(25:20):
Yeah, well. Who was the?
Opener you know everyone here and I think you said everything
but it I'm yelling at the radio good Shane Watson guys what I
good what I what I we'll come back to it who was that for a.
Couple of weeks, you guys. Turn off your nut, everyone
knows it's the what I review. Remember a couple of weeks ago
when I said if you want to be corrected by someone on the

(25:42):
Internet to say the wrong thing?Yeah.
Yep. And then to me, Karapkin, who
was it, who was the the great fullback, you know, he plays for
Queensland. And no, I don't even know a name
for someone that watches female rugby league.
Got him on the hook this way. No, you got you got called out
because you have no idea. Shit for brains.
There he is. He's even getting angry.
That's. Getting fiery tonight.

(26:02):
Jesus, he's. All on for.
That English Earl Grey put in. Shane Watson, he doesn't know
that. It's probably the milk he put
with his Dilma, who puts milk indill.
The guys got the record for so many LBW reviews.
He's on about 39. He.
Was gonna get it right eventually.
Who cares? Round 19 review versus the
Bulldogs. Unfortunately this one at lovely

(26:25):
QCB state. Looking up how the QCB stadium
was built now I. Was just trying to get to the
bottom of the grass. This is this is research.
Yeah, then drainage grown locally a Fortini.
Some, yeah, they wanted. Yeah, originally and then if you
keep reading. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
The very next. Keep going the next line, Dick
head. Oh, Sunny Coast, Sunny Coast.

(26:46):
Easy. Yeah.
Hey, it's fiery tonight. Pissy.
It's fiery. It's for a fiery.
Dropping bombs and getting fiery.
They transport the grass 1300 kilometres in a refrigerated
truck from Twin View Turf on theSunshine Coast, OK.
That's gonna be great for NQ climate and biting in.
Man, they're all ideas guys downthere, aren't they?
Well, you have to put in a refrigerator truck to transport

(27:07):
grass. It came out on like a a ream of
paper, like a roll. Yeah, Why are you refrigerating
it? That doesn't seem.
That seems weird, isn't it? We put we put anything in the.
Why do we keep having to update windows like you know your
things, they know their things. Yeah, that's a good.
Point grass doesn't grow in the fridge.
Like we're taking how to grow grass advice from an
electrician. I've seen a few movies and

(27:27):
people are growing grass in the attic under lights.
They're not putting it in the fridge.
Let me tell you that my friend. Queensland Country Bank Stadium
Saturday the 12th of July saw the Cowboys host the Bulldogs
and look, it didn't quite go as planned. 12 points to 8.
A single try from Zaki laboured in the 15th minute and I think
we all at that point thought we were gonna bring it on home

(27:50):
actually going up 8 nil at one stage.
And then Jacob Preston went overthe 35th and then Jethro Rena
Karma in the 39th minute and that was that was.
Like 2 seconds before half time. That's the 39th minute, isn't
it? Yeah, that's They're not gonna
write 40. No, I know, I know.
In any case, it was exactly the wrong time to let a try in, and

(28:13):
that was at least there was nothing in the second-half which
made it a bit. Which I think had to be a record
this year. No points conceded in the
second-half of the game. For us, definitely.
No for the whole of both teams, but no for every team in the
comp. You mean for both teams to be
kept scoreless in the second-half?
Yeah, both. Teams in a game?
Yeah, yeah, across every game. Yeah, I see what you're saying.

(28:34):
Yeah, like that might be I. Reckon it is like.
Rando, get onto that one for us.What's the lowest second-half
scores all season? Like surely someones kicked a
field goal, like if it's to break a deadlock, if it's 18,
all that halftime or something. 812 If it's 12/8, even the dogs
aren't gonna go for a cheeky field goal, so why go five
points? That's right.
Yeah, that's either penalty goals or tries or something.

(28:57):
What's your thoughts about Murray Tulangi?
I thought that was a try. I don't think that was a double
movement. I reckon no, I slipped.
Off him I went double movement in the on on initial view I I
figured that was double movement.
Although Scotty drank waters wasI think he copped a hit when?
Oh yeah, he did. Head on, yeah.
I think Kick Out got him high. Big time, they reckon.
Oh no, he's just playing at the ball.

(29:19):
Yeah, well, you can play at the ball, but if you hit his chin
first. Knocked his glasses exactly.
Knocked out his contacts. Yeah, and I think Braden Burns
was a penalty. Yeah, 100%.
Because how could that not be a penalty, but then he has to go
for a HII. Yeah.
Yeah, makes no sense. But I suppose if you lay down,
that's the risk if that's what the and this is the.

(29:39):
Melbourne Storm did it the week before and.
Yeah, and one off a penalty, yeah.
Effectively one off it. That's what Storm do.
What did I say? And you know, in the first 5-6
weeks it's oh, if you lay down the bunk will get involved.
This, that and the other. Ohh, we're changing that now.
Like NRL, if you're gonna have the rules in play from round
one, it's still the grand final. And if that decides a grand
final with a penalty goal right in front, then you made your rod

(30:01):
for yourself. To have a Landy special.
You made your rod. You made a rod for.
Yourself, I think I'm trying to say.
It's getting a lot of boxing about it, changing the rules
every so often and, yeah, and making them some, some suit
others and others not suit them, you know what I mean?
Like it's, it's got a lot of boxing about it, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, for sure. It's gonna be a dehydration
cause in a second. Yes.

(30:24):
All we asked for is consistency. That's a good.
Box and reflect. At least an AFL if this is what
they're doing in round one. There's a rule a couple of years
ago where if you're on the mark you couldn't move at all until
basically the player either cameto you or ran around you, which
was just the dumbest rule ever ever made.
Now people are making like a 20mrun up to do a kick it.
Right. Yeah, but but credit to him.

(30:46):
Yep, by round 3, this is the most shittest rule.
We started it, we're finishing it for the season.
Yeah, although I think they, I don't know if they still do it
if. You.
No, no, they they abolish that straight away.
Not that one, but if you do the appeal to a ref like an umpire
blows a call and you you go oy Yep you were going to get 50
against. You they pinged that?
They pinged that pretty hard fora.
While I think they went against,I turned quick 180 on that.

(31:08):
Yeah, it kind of just they forgot about it because.
You can do it now, but. Then it's someone really
annoying about sometimes ping them but you never see it.
It's a bit like the dissent rulein NRL which you never, you must
never hear the player giving dissent and then when they do
it's immediate 10 minutes. So it should be look too many
errors in this game cost the Cowboys and.
Crucial time errors hurry out. It's getting a little bit too

(31:31):
much and again, it's weird. We say we can, we can't.
Too many errors. We spoke about it prior to
hitting the record button, but Ithink bloke in a bars Denning
Campus hit the nail on the head or is it at least gotten within
the proximity of the nail with the hammer when he said that.
Peyton's really not picking based on performance.

(31:53):
That's certainly not game performance.
Sprukes on about we need to clean up our errors.
Some players are not hitting their marks blah blah blah, but
then picks the same players the next week.
So no, have a listen if if you know much as we don't like to
Sprint the competition black in a bar, you know I.
Mean you, you, you're a little. Bit he's doing OK.
You can go, you can go to the podcast on Spotify and you can
Scroll down to chapters and justget and just go to the Cowboys

(32:15):
Bulldogs game. So you can do that.
Yeah, so you don't have to listen to the entire 4 1/2 hours
listening to talk about every game of the round.
Yeah, that would be nice. Maybe that's how I should, yeah.
Yeah, do that. Smart move A.
Little bit of, you know, a word of advice.
Smart, yeah. Yeah, good idea.
You got Purdue, that's killing it at center, Purdue, Purdue.
And I know that he grew up as 1/2.

(32:36):
I was actually talking with him afterwards in the leagues club
and he said I actually really dolike playing center.
Wouldn't you? He's killing it.
Yeah, but this is the thing. He looks so good when drink.
He went off of that HIA against the Dolphins and he went to
fullback. He's quick, he can swoop.
He looks good at fullback. Can we just hey righto, we don't
have Dolph or Cliff or 1/2 at all at the moment.

(32:57):
Partner Diden We just moved drink to six and Purdy to 1.
Give it a go. I couldn't, couldn't go any
worse. At least you know that drinks
drinks. Usually always going to get his
hand on the ball anyway. Yep, and he usually kicks like
Purdue doesn't kick. Yeah, didn't now get a little
bit of a kick since Origin, but now unlocks Purdue to roam
around because drink. He's still gonna play in the

(33:18):
line as a structured 6 anyway inattack.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I like you thinking.
So I'd I'd just Chuck drink at six and but in saying that that
Clifford goes down with a groin injury in the captain drum.
You tell I don't know, I don't know the injured.
I don't know if Duffy's out injured or whatever, but you've
got pride and cutters, which means you've got 2 sevens and
two sixes. Surely we have 1/2 that can just

(33:41):
come in and leave Purdue at 3 instead.
Now you're upset in his game plan because instead of just
because. He's been training at centre
all. Week instead of just catching
the ball and being dangerous anddoing what he does, he now has
to talk and organize a side and everything else which might not
be and his thing at the moment. Suddenly be creative.
Creative. Yeah, yeah.
Whereas he can be created like he's like the Trell.
Give him early ball and he can be creative.

(34:03):
Yeah. With it.
You move Trell to six, Look at how shitty plays.
Same with GI when they move GI to six.
Yeah, you're either a centre or,you know, you're not.
Just because you're talented doesn't mean yeah, Yeah, he kind
of like Valentine. Oh, I'm a fullback.
I want to be a fullback. Sorry, mate, but you're just not
good back there. But you're a gun centre or a gun
winger. Stay in your lane.

(34:24):
I think that's a good point. That's why I felt he went well
staying in his lane. Yeah, yeah.
Like, I'd like like one. Sorry.
I'd like Valentine to do some ofthat tackling last year that he
did in the ocean. Game.
Oh yeah, few bell ringers. Oh man.
But I mean, Corey hates when he was do a plan.
Oh, I'm a winger. Oh, I wanna go into the middle,
right? He always wanted to do something
like. Come on man.

(34:44):
Like you are there. You're tall.
You can run, you can leap. Stay where you.
Are it's like Jordan won in belay centre?
Like play, play role, Yeah. Like you just play a role where
you're best at. I want to be an astronaut.
Astronaut. Yeah.
It's just not happening. I want to go to the moon.
Actually, as a kid, no, no shit.As a kid I wanted to be a, a
like a Air Force fighter pilot. Yeah.

(35:04):
I've certainly not built to fit in a cockpit, No.
And I mean the plane kind, no? No offense, no offense, and.
And this was never. That's what I was going to say
was never was it because of youreyes like like you would not
have been like take like you cantrain and be fit everything and
rig up. And the biggest thing was the
eyes. Guys, Yeah.
Right, because as a fire pilot, you can't have because you
can't. You had to have 2020 back then.

(35:25):
You probably can get away with it now.
Yeah, you had glasses at like 5 or so, did pretty much Great
one. Yeah.
Actually, that's where they I think they did.
They realized because I was squinting at the nerd, the
blackboard because it used to bea blackboard back then.
Back in my day we had black fuckyou for Roy's are better than
two. Some of us wear glasses.

(35:47):
All of us except young fella down the end there, yeah.
Speak. For touch of.
Touch World Time. Time glass aware.
Time comes for everybody. No, no, Pete, Pete's right.
We need to, we also need to justhave people playing their best
role and stay in that role. Yeah.
But if we do have injuries and we have no one there.
But we also need to coach. Who drinks?
Recognises that and I, I don't. I think that's where I love Todd

(36:10):
Payton, right? We all love him.
Friend of the Pod. Friend of the pod, great guest.
But I think he's. Two time guest.
I just, I don't, I think he's making a few mistakes there.
Yeah, yeah, but you also gotta be a bit unlucky.
I don't know who's in our top 30squad, but.
We can look at our injury's hurt, you know?
Having Clifford, having Duffy, is there, is there another like
Chester? He could do a job there.

(36:32):
We've been 6 been. Absolutely killed.
Have we, have we been killed with like how many halves have
we got in the top 30 squad? You know, like.
I thought we had too many halvescoming into the season.
Yeah, but now we clearly don't have.
You don't need someone that great to well, you still need
greatness, but Dearden has gone to another level, so you just
need someone to play off him. And that's.
The other part too, you're gonna, you're gonna, no one's

(36:53):
gonna look as good as what he does at the moment, right?
And there's every chance he's gonna be the Australian buddy.
How do you read that should be Rob.
Jahi. Poor Farsi.
Poor Farsi. There you go.
And Perdy, like he's he, he camethrough as a junior, junior
half. But if you're killing it all at
centre, yeah, I don't know. He was killing it at centre.

(37:14):
And then we moved Clifford from 7:00 to putting Purdue there,
and then we went on a six game losing streak.
I mean, it's everyone says it and I, you know, I don't bind up
Internet comments, but not everyone's blind.
We are. We are an Internet show.
We. Quite literally are it's just
Facebook comments. Yeah, I've, I've gotten very
disciplined at not opening the comments in Facebook unless I

(37:36):
want to see that, want to get the popcorn out.
Loose and Lukey like just yeah, it doesn't help.
But surely if we if we lose Clifford in a captain's run with
the 2 feeder cleaves, 2 feeder clubs we have, surely we can.
There's still some, and there's.Parachute one in.
Players who are being stuck by not so much this week, but who
are being stuck by, who are making mistakes again.

(37:58):
I think I set it off air the reddragon, Big Griff, big Griffer.
He's making too many mistakes tobe at top.
Level. Yeah, for sure.
And I, I know he dropped the ball once there right when we
have momentum, we change. We got the ball back off dogs.
But he, I think it was second tackle with momentum running and
we're on the 45 metre line just 5 short of halfway.
And just like mate, if we get tothat set, we had all the running

(38:22):
momentum and. The bit that the the part that
hurts a lot is that Griff can bend the line like no one else
and make a tackle break. If he had an offload in him,
yeah, and someone was with him, we would run away with so much.
Do you think there's? Offloads.
But every time he gets the ball, well, now I I'm, I'm waiting for
him to drop it. Oh, so he's Mr. Lynette?
Grip Lynette. I don't.

(38:43):
Want to go that far? So to fix it, what what do you
reckon? Do we just at training get a get
a 400 grit sandpaper out and sand all the grip off the ball
and cover it in oil and you dropit, It's another 50 push ups.
I don't know. That's that's.
Good. Yeah, I think.
It's a great shot, that. Yeah, we read that headline at
the same time. Yeah, that's.

(39:04):
Good. That is everything about.
That from the Cowboys page for the headlines, Yeah.
Is that a meme? That's that.
Yeah, yeah, that's right. We'll move off from that.
Yep, too many hours, got distracted.
Boy, it's. Moving on, like I said, it was a
few notes. Yeah, bloke hit the nail on the
head. Burns lays down on the tackle
and doesn't get it. I wrote these as the game is

(39:25):
finishing, in the words of the irreverent Pauline Hanson.
The fuck? I had a few beverages by that
time, 32 ones from this guy. It's bloody hard to getting,
yeah, bloody hard to do these. I'll go first.
It's pretty easy for me. Tommy did, and he gets three
points. I'll give him another freaking
medal, for Christ's sake. Let him walk in like with a

(39:45):
bunch of them. Keys to the city.
Give him a belt, Keys to the Cities and next Jonathan
Thurston. I mean, we, we need a mayor.
We do. Actually, Mayor, Mayor Matt
didn't couldn't be any worse. Met Tommy.
Two points I gave to like Jeremiah, no, no, I know he
makes mistakes in defence, but he actually had a pretty good
game in attack. And one point for Cohen Hess,
who is he's, he seems to be our best, still seems to be our best

(40:09):
forward at the moment. In my opinion, I don't know.
I like. I like.
I like he's. Having a crack.
I think he's got the attitude aswell and I think if everyone had
that attitude, I know, I think it was the other week he gave
away a penalty and had a smile on his face.
But that aside. He's had a few injuries in the
last couple of years too. So he's, he's like, he's like
probably most he's played in thelast like probably two years.

(40:31):
I think he's enjoying his footy.Oh yeah, 100%.
It's just unfortunate that they keep losing and and for some
reason I gave an honourable mention to Robert Darby.
My boy. He does commit 100% win, lose or
draw. Sometimes it pays, quite often
it doesn't. Sometimes he commits murder,
sometimes he doesn't. It's just manslaughter.
Well, the problem is every opposition team now knows to

(40:53):
kick to him. Yeah, yeah.
Put pressure on him. You will find he's not playing
this, I say. Yeah, I, I I'm still supporting
to make a comeback. Look, a week or two in
Queensland Cup, he could come back like Jeremiah today.
Yeah, he could be. He could be my Eastern Masters.
Right. With me and I how good was his
little line break drink? He puts in through 4th tackle

(41:15):
but kicks it through like just yeah you had a ground with it.
I know that eyes up but everyone's the kick definitely
was not on you. You didn't draw a fullback or
anyone like, and you didn't havea winger pushing up with you.
Yeah. Ever trying to be a superhero?
A little bit of that, yeah. I noticed a lot of our players,
really, they passed way too early too.
They passed well before they're drawing any opposition.

(41:37):
Yeah, yeah. It's not creating space and I'm
not a footballer. Like I don't know how to play
the fucking game but I'm spotting that that means.
That means something's up. Something.
'S up. Something's not right in the
state of Texas. And you've got 2020 vision
after. All so I don't you're spotting
never he's up. You're spotting it off.
I've seen squirrels left right in the cellar.
Oh yeah, you'd be coaching from down on the sidelines, not from
the coaches. But I.

(41:57):
Would be too screaming like Ricky Stewart.
Maybe Peyton needs to get down there.
No, I don't. No, he was down there like the
week before last. Yeah, more often.
Actually, I think that's when wewon.
Yeah, get down there tight. Let's get down.
Get down. There sideline.
You know what? Let's start it, Peyton.
Down on the ground, Yeah. Take your shoes off, get your
toes in the grass in the tip tipped off Bermuda.
Do a bit of earthing. Yeah, a bit of earthing.

(42:17):
Just a bit. I went three points for Burns
this week. Didn't played really good that's
why he got 2 but Burns he just. Oh, you put Burns above Did.
Yeah, I did he look only becauseand not only because but didn't
had a great origin game and and he was a good player, but I just
think that burns bar burns. He just like give it to someone

(42:39):
else instead of taking all the awards for one week sort of
thing. Have a rest.
He carried the ball back right, and I think if you have a look
at his meters around he's it wasour best meter eater for the
game, looked solid at centre, took bombs, tackled his Dick off
as well, like Burns was actually, if you have a look at
Burns, he he was he was outstanding.

(43:00):
Most run meters was Murray tolling 257?
Just quietly, but carry on. Yeah, but Burns, he did good and
then did it for two we all saw what he did shot on kick out was
outstanding and I went one pointGriff name 70 minutes in the
front row there. He's usually a bench player, 139
run meters, made a few good tackles there.

(43:21):
You know we talk about the I sawYanni drop one ball and it was
at a crucial time. I think it happened like if he
didn't drop that dogs don't score their second or first try
or something like that. So it was a costly error.
But for a bloke that usually plays 3540 off the Ben, she
played 70 in the middle and did the tough stuff.
Cool. Made the most tackles too.

(43:42):
Yeah, 40 tackles. And I'll give honorable mentions
to my boy Zachy Laybut good to get a try.
And when you've got a little wage running for first try,
score it's. Yeah, of course you would.
We should. All right, Morgan hit us.
Who, like Pete's 32 ones often revolve around his multi on the
weekend. Yeah.

(44:02):
And who did well and he did bad?No one sure.
They're not. No, you wouldn't think so.
I've gone three points, my boy, man of the match, man of the
series for Origin, Tommy D I've gone 2 points for Braden Burns
made a little note really good last few games.
He is firing good meters, good tackle bust.
He's he's good at on the wing and one I've gone muz to lung

(44:23):
big go forward meters post contact meters and good at the
contest. Here's what I thought about that
game. It's good, very good good for
me. I reckon that's all right.
What are? You at the game?
I didn't. I had to give my tickets away
because I had a family dinner togo to.
You had to wash your hair are. You going to buy the tickets
next year? Yeah, I will.
We'll try and actually get to a few more games because I've been

(44:44):
given a lot away lately because I had family dinner Saturday
night and then the previous weekhad another, some sort of family
event, almost something, I can'tremember what it was.
Too, too much family. Basically.
Yeah, so I get asked I. Sent you a message are.
You free here or there or whatever?
I said let me just check my schedule, which is code for
loading up the NRL app and checking the draw.

(45:06):
Yeah, that's exactly. What I and I go can't really do
much on Saturday between the hours of seven and 10.
I need to plan better. I need to plan, let's be honest.
But I do always offer my ticket, you know, I said if you want my
ticket, you know I do. Spread for love, what can I say?
Or in the afternoon on the spread for love.
Alright, very good that was. But I will be keeping tickets so

(45:28):
I I reckon they're good seats. You've said they are good seats,
seats good location. Yeah, you know what?
I'm. A good price too.
I've wanted like. How much it costs to get just a
one off ticket in that forex canbar thing that they have at
Duffy Downs? How do you even do it?
Because it's not like it's on public sale.
Yeah, it must be like a sponsor thing or like you just gotta be
invited. Like if it's 150 bucks for a

(45:50):
ticket but you get a three hour drink package, I'm in.
You know, you know how to get inthere.
You're a man about town. They know you're coming, not
given. That I can hear you're
panicking, clinking in a mile away as you walk into the
stadium. Imagine that going into the 4X
tent with the panic and. Yeah, made for it to be
something. It would be something.
I actually went to the sky deck with me panicking, good job.
And I went into the phone. I go to the corporates with me

(46:12):
panic and. I actually did the forex tent at
Eagle Farm with me. Panic.
Yeah, I really like the look of the Sky deck.
I haven't been up there. How was it?
It's not bad at all. Yeah, it's good.
I think it's doing some of good too.
You get good breeze, nice and cool.
Yeah, can be a good spot. I glare.
Something behind you 100. Percent.
That's why we've got my seats inthat corner.
All right. Well, we might leave it there,

(46:37):
right? Yeah, have you got a review for
Wednesday night's game? We know, but I because I totally
forgot. I'm just, it's so much glory
from the year from. What am I wearing?
Rob Week. Before and then I look over
here, Billy Billy's got his maroon's complete PJ's outfit.
Top to bottom. Top That's the whole Where's

(46:58):
Wally Lewis? You've got the rears.
Jeans at what? The salvos or something?
Yeah yeah yeah. A hugging boy I.
Had $7.00 for him, $7.00 that isthe outstanding.
I just have to fit into a size 28.
Oh, that's. And there's skinny leg too.
Yeah, skinny jeans when you calves.
Honestly, no, I'm not taking thepiss off not taking the piss

(47:20):
because my waist is still 34, but since they're skinny it's
just really fucked. I wore went to the races the
other week and I wore a suit that I've got I think for Heidi
and Augies wedding right And it is just that fucked on the back
of your legs just. Because of your baby care house?
Because. Of me baby care house.
Yeah, skinny jeans aren't. They're made for people that

(47:40):
skip leg day. You're right.
Wednesday. I've got a pair of 30s that my
calves don't fit over, but then my 20 eights do, so I think.
Oh, true, yeah. They totally depend on the cart.
Yeah, yeah, right. But I mean.
Look at that. Look at.
Them look at those muscles. Wednesday the 9th of July 2412.
The Maroons over the Blues at a Gore Stadium in Sydney and the

(48:03):
what I'm going to call the performance of the year.
Kept the crowd nice and quiet the whole way through.
Oh wasn't it glorious? They were dead.
Half that half of the 80,256 people I think were gone.
Dude, yeah, the 60th minute withthat, with all the hype around
Origin this year and Queensland's pick and Cherry
Evans and his dad's half back and all this.

(48:25):
And we got Robert Toyer in the centres and we got no chance at
all. And they've got all the weapons
in the duffel bag and controls. Never lost an Origin series
while he's played in it. And all this sort of Hoo ha And
they just got speed and strengthand you know, Trent the Arrow,
who's he needs a name tag, like to know who he is and all this
sort of shit. And after they dust us in
Suncorp, they're sniffing their own farts and they're riding

(48:46):
high and in all honesty, they should have won game if they
could goal kick. They yeah, they lock up the
series in Game 2, but they didn't would have should have
caught and it's a decider and played in Sydney.
Yeah alright. We lost Game 2, but we were the
better team. I mean, yeah, we didn't play
good in the first half, but thenwe just blitz them in the second
and things didn't go our way. We didn't goal kick and shit
like that. Still the better team and we're

(49:07):
still so great. Everything's good and.
There's a point here somewhere. And now Dylan's playing half
back and you've sacked your captain halfway through and all
this sort of shit and then to absolutely put on that clinic
behind enemy lines in Sydney, it's essentially 13 plus.
Like Val slipped over when he's kicking a goal and they scored
right on the full time as a consolation.

(49:28):
Is there a world? Did you have 13 plus in a multi?
No, no. It sounded like.
It's a very nice. Out there, is there a world, do
you think that this was the Blues year and they've been
talking dynasty and all this sort of shit like since 2018
when all the outguns retired? Smith, Slater, Cronk, Durst.
And they've been talking dynastyever since.
All that they won 18, then they won 19, then they lost to the

(49:51):
worst Queensland team ever in 20, then they came back in 21.
Townsville and whatnot Blitz, there's been 2223 Queens there.
They got lucky a bit last year but they still won it.
So it's but now we win it. This year it's 4 all in the
series and now we're talking. This was going to be a Blues
absolute triumph and you know the eight in a row Queensland
was never going to happen. Well, you look at the team on

(50:11):
paper. Sorry, sorry, what was the
question? On paper, no, there is nothing.
We're still going. Do you think it's?
A long run up. After this performance, after it
was. Now we're gonna sweep us.
Is Origin dead in a way? No what?
But not for us. Or not very better.
But how do those wankers down South come back from this?

(50:35):
How? They just have to.
Re roll and do it next. Year they just well, they said
it the bloody. Do better.
Yeah, they just got, they don't do, but next year.
But they just don't you. Don't do.
You look at our half pack, right?
Yeah, Tom Dearden. All right.
He got parachuted half and do hegot parachuted into plan 5/8 in
23 or whenever when Munster was out with a COVID or something

(50:55):
and been a match performance. Oh, he brings it.
But then this year, game one, he's playing 14 years before
that. We've had Cronk, we've had
Michael Morgan, we've had Terry Evans, Ben Hunt, all their
halves that we're going to come through the system all started
playing fourteen. Yeah, they're talking about
Cleary. He's gone, Luoi's gone, they're
all gone. But you're not picking like if

(51:16):
Katowa, if that's their next boyfrom the Dolphins, don't give
him the half back job next year.Like if he's killing it, you're
too young still mate. But they'll they'll put him in
and they'll fuck him. Same with Cleary, like Cleary's
old now and he's won comms but he was the Blues half back at
20. He's he's been injured the whole
the whole series. I was 27.
Yeah, he he played injured the whole series though, so that

(51:38):
effects. No, but at 27 it's been he.
He came in in the 2018 series. So again, a 19 year old has that
like he hasn't want to decide we've taught, we've heard all
this all clearly needs to dominate an origin and that's
the final piece. Are they gonna just bring in
another young bloke and just fuck their career as well?
Like. I don't know if they care

(51:59):
enough. Oh look, if they I hope they do.
As much as I hate a gallon. I I love watching NSW lose yeah
and Queensland win again next year and if we win again the
following year, that's three in a row.
I mean, and these are all ifs where to from there?
So. I don't actually might like if
we if NSW wins next year, I'm OK.
I'm not, I hate NSW. Hateful stuff I hate it but I

(52:20):
also I don't an 8 year dentistly.
It keeps the series going. It keeps it going.
It does and it it and it gives them something to.
It's like the Harlem Globetrotters and the Washington
Wizards or whatever it is, right?
Harlem Globetrotters. Yeah, Harlem Globetrotters and
the Washington Generals, I don'tknow, sometimes they sometimes
they gotta win. You know, since 2006 when
Queensland started this this runbecause it was Blues in 05/04

(52:44):
and 03, Yeah, and then a drawn series O2, which Queensland won
the previous year in 01. It's like a history.
Yeah. So we have to.
But in 06 to now how like, oh, it really doesn't want to coach
next year. Cam Smith, can you do it?
Can Nate Miles do it? Thurston Can Thurston do it?
Thurston, Thurston's they're allthere anyway.
But this is what I mean, we've got 30 plus gamers that ready to

(53:06):
winners. Yeah, you know, we know Blues
have gone back to like Laurie Daly is a legend for NSW, but is
he irrelevant? Like out of out of the whole
Blues team in the last 20 years, they don't have what we have.
Like they have missed a whole generation.
We've we've got a little bit of that.
There's the winners culture in there now.
Yeah, because you've got that. The the previous now started.

(53:29):
Yeah, and the previous dynasty is now the coaching squad
creating a new dynasty, which isthen gonna be part of the
coaching squad. So we've got this, this, this
cycle of. 'Cause we went through a few.
Cycle of excellence you wanna call it.
You know, cycle of dominance, cycle of cult and it's culture,
it's club winning culture. You know, it's the kind of thing
the Broncos had for so long. Yep, the kind of thing that
Panthers clearly had the last four years.

(53:50):
It's this Queensland spirit. It's.
And NSW don't get it. And NSW still had Bellamy in the
box like a current. Like last year, McGuire had
Cleary in the box. Was that the difference?
Here's a question for you. Would you stick Andrew Johns in
as NSW coach? I don't think he wants it.
I. Don't think he could coach.
And because he doesn't want, let's say Joey does do it and he

(54:11):
doesn't win. That's the only person that
whole state has to our Joey can do it and Joey doesn't do it.
And then? What have he did?
But. They they go OK.
But we went through rot like Phil Gould is their best coach
and up until, you know, he, he didn't do it in 06.
I think it was Graham Murray. Yeah, yeah.
Did it. And then Bellamy did it.

(54:31):
But we only had Mal. Like it was the first time we've
had a sole coach. And the Blues kept picking club
coaches and Mal, you know, in 06, he retired in 94.
So that's only a what, a 12 year?
He went into politics, didn't he?
He did for 30 seconds. About 12 minutes, yeah.
But he was only a 12, 12 years out of the game now from from 94

(54:51):
to to O 6 and say he was still relevant.
Jeez, that was that was way funnier in your head, it wasn't
it? I'm buggered.
Whereas, you know, like Laurie Daly when he retired in 98 to
now is is 20 odd years on it, he's no longer relevant for it.
I don't know. I don't know where the Blues

(55:11):
find bit of heart and spirit andbit of naos, bit of structure.
This was their year, this was their time.
They had. Build.
This was their team to build forthe next 10 years and dominate.
I think they had it after game one and then when they fell over
in Game 2 and just took the windout of their sails.
I think they're mentally fragilein origin.
They just don't have that resilience.

(55:32):
Like they, they like, drop theirheads, basically.
Yeah. They drop their heads and they
just sort of pack it up and go home.
They go, Oh well. But you look at game again, you
look it came to and they should have won if it wasn't for the
kicking, Yeah. And so they've gone.
OK, we've given our, we gave that game.
But they. Never got out of second gear in
both games. That's right.
But you know those they would think.

(55:52):
But do they only have two gears?Well.
Yeah, yeah. Well, Queensland always digs
deeper. We always find something, you
know, there's those, we're on the line and repeat sets and
Queensland just holds them back and holds them back and it's
like a it's a brother and brother's arm swing.
And like you were getting to at the start, on paper they look
like a gun squad. If you look at that whole

(56:14):
Queensland side from 1 to 17 across all three games with
Ponger and Cherry, Evans and Mokai fodder, Waker and and the
likes, if you were to pick a NSWteam out of that Queensland
side, you might have Munster andCarrigan.
You're not picking dead head of blue oil Cleary what NSW are on
anyway. I think I know where you're
going. Yeah, you're not picking.
You're not picking Robert Toya and Shibasaki ahead of Crichton

(56:37):
and Matrel. No, that's right.
That's what that's what I mean. Like there's gun names.
Who? Are a team full of stars.
But even then, Robert Toyler andShibasaki probably don't even
make the Blues second string. Is that because that the issue?
That's too many stars. They'll play for themselves and
not for the state. 'Cause I think, 'cause when
they, when they like in that game, one that's.
Oh, that's. Fine.
Yeah, and in Game 2, was it Game2 last year where they were like

(56:59):
36 nil at half time, like just right at we're in for some herd
here, those Queensland those. Panthers players all got
together. They can wipe, Yeah, wipe QLD.
They just have trouble getting going.
They. Made a line break in the 1st 2
minutes and then did another oneon the other side of the field.
That fight here we go. Toya and Shibasagi being found
out twice in the one cent. Yeah, Yeah, they could.

(57:20):
They could have, I could have done it, but the Queens, it's
the winning culture in Queensland.
That's the only thing I can. Put it, I think it put comes
down. Because we can winning.
Players winning is a learned lesson like you need to know how
to win. Yeah, it's it's a yeah but
mentality. They're all champions, but if
you. Would you look at any team, any
team that's going well in a competition like Cowboys and

(57:40):
Rut? Now just to turn it around, we
have to Jag a win? Yep.
Then get that winning, yeah. Momentum which?
We've been close in the last twoweeks.
We were the better team against Dogs and Storm.
But until you actually get that win, we're stuck in that rut.
And the same happens when you said they're stuck in I'll.
Ask you this if you're a professional athlete, a rugby
league player playing Origin or you're in that, in that.

(58:02):
It doesn't have to be, but it could be a stretch.
Any anything, cricket, volleyball or whatever.
Maybe not volleyball, but definitely rugby league.
If follows that I would, the jersey I'd want to have would be
a Queensland jersey ahead of an Australian jersey, yeah.
Yeah, I'm, I'm more Queensland than Australia.
That's. Like if I never got to, if I
never got to play for Australia,so be it.

(58:22):
But I had one or 20 Origin jerseys, that would be.
Whereas NSW, they see that as now I want to be, I want to wear
an Australian jersey. It's a step.
I don't give a fuck about the NSW 1 as much as what
Queenslanders care about the Queens there in Jersey.
For me though too, it's about the opposition that you're going
to be playing against in rugby league.

(58:43):
I consider the NRL. It's night and day, chalk and
cheese to any other rugby leaguecomp in the world. 100% it is.
So you, you watch English Super League and in isolation by
itself it's fine because you've got yeah, fairly equal team.
Some Helens are flogging everybody, but you know what I
mean? Like it's fairly, it's at this
level, yeah, but the NRL is up here, the Australian could be

(59:06):
leagues at this level. So when you have an Australian
team, it's like playing everyoneelse you're gonna be playing is
like second graders, correct? Queensland versus NSW is a
fairly even competition. By rights.
It's about as equivalent as any competition.
Sequel, but to the extent where it's probably 6040 in favour of
the Blues, they've got a better. In terms of names on paper, Yep,

(59:28):
yes, yeah, agreed. And it's like, yeah, like
anything, I suppose with it, because you're coming up again,
I want to beat the best to be the best.
And if you're in the Australian jersey, no one else is
comparing. Occasionally we get beaten.
New Zealand used to give it halfa half a run, Yeah, for
instance, but. Everyone tunes.
And there you get the minnows are coming through like the
Samoans and Tong is with few of their class players they're
starting to make a bit of a fistof.

(59:49):
It they are and it's why I like to see the underdogs.
I actually like to see the underdogs beat Australia.
Yeah, yes, I want Australia to win.
OK, fair enough. But when Samara or Tonga gets up
and has a win, you're like it's the little guy too.
That's. Like, yeah, because that's like
us. We Queenslanders have a little
guy. And also, you had to have done a
damn good job to beat the Australian side.

(01:00:10):
Yeah, because look at what's in the Australian side.
Yeah, I don't know. That's how I look at.
It I'll say look at her and likewith with us at origin time that
the fans boy, and I'm not sayingthat the Blues fans damn boy and
at all, but what 4X does? Head to toe?
Yeah, Head to toe in Marine's gear.
I like 4X post. Codes post codes on their
jerseys. I like the post.
Code the. You can buy a 4X cart and it's

(01:00:32):
got their numbers and the and the post codes on.
Is VB or Tuis or whoever doing that for yourself?
Is it? Still tuis.
I I don't know, they chop and change like 4X.
Has been a part of Origin since 1980 for the Queenslanders.
That's a sponsor. That's it.
That's a bit of a contract deal.I wonder if they signed it for a
song for 100 year lease way. That'll be smart.

(01:00:53):
That'll. Be smart.
But it doesn't hurt that the brewery is in the same bloody
suburb as the home stadium. But.
Look at even the coaching staff and build this year.
Right now we're we're channelling fatties nobodies of
95 because that's how we see us as what we we.
Really love to be underdogs. Yeah, but all the locker rooms
has got, you know, Ponger or Hammer is in Robbie A Davis who

(01:01:14):
played number one. You know, you got Parrot
Carrigan and Gary Larson's lock.Like we've bought all the the
Rev up back. Like I don't see the Blues
hyping. And he's still a Alfie out
there. And you got all the old boys
egg, you know? Yeah.
The other part of. It but Nathan Brown, the former
coach famous for walkers on, walkers on, walkers on Where

(01:01:35):
isn't he at running water or doing something?
The other part is the NSW media will carve them up.
Yeah. Yeah, that's true.
Queensland Media Well, what is it?
The Courier Mail? Courier Mail is going to be
behind QLD. No matter what, yeah.
Even if we lose, you're not exactly.
Get an article out of Travis Mayne saying how shit Queensland
are, no? Yeah, but it'll be talked about

(01:01:57):
on NRL 360 maybe. I don't know, is that supposed
to run or whatever? Fox League, What?
It'll be talked about in Fox League media.
They will pick apart NSW. Yeah, yeah.
It's like a hobby down there. And if Queen and if if
Queensland lose, they might hypethem up a little bit, but
nowhere near as much as you know.
Yeah, the Courier Mail does for Queensland.
I don't know that's. You know, for weeks leading now
we're just hearing sweeps and dynasties and this is going to

(01:02:19):
be arson and you say, I don't know, like Yep.
And then you watch game one, yougo OK, and then you're hearing
it all again. Yeah, I reckon we're going to
dust them in Perth. Like they're just arrogant now.
Like they're all thinking they can just go out and win it the
way we won this series. Outstanding.
Like that is like I know we didn't sweep them three nil, but
you don't need that is up there with the 2020 nobodies the 95

(01:02:40):
fatties like just and 'cause we did it without anyone.
Oh, we had you beside you know we had monster yeah, he's cool.
We dropped our captain after game one.
Yeah, Tom didn't. Yeah.
Yeah. A7 game player I.
Don't yeah. A7 game Origin player, yeah, but
pretty successful one. You think, you know, like it's
just one of the greatest. I was, I was still beaming on

(01:03:03):
Sunday. I was still watching highlights
and Billy's. Have you watched their press
conference Get around that? You got Monster Bill and Big
Papa there. It's goes for about 15 minutes.
That's another part. Speaking of Big Papa, that's
another part of the culture. It's like, OK, we need someone
here to for everyone to get behind and yeah, bring everyone
together. Yeah.

(01:03:23):
Just get a bit of Big Papa in. Yeah, Papa, what are you doing?
And. Everyone just goes Papas.
Yeah, which is? Good for now for us, but he's
not there next year and we're a bit light on in the middle row,
like if you saw the first two games of Tino and Mot Moaki.
Yeah, yeah. Yeah, we don't like, I love the
idea. And I don't know what everyone
was saying. Why is Kerrigan not starting?

(01:03:45):
Because if you start Kerrigan ahead of the arrow, when the
time comes for your rotation, Yeah, don't.
You've got Lindsay Collins. That's the only big body you got
coming on. Otherwise you got Manly, Arrow,
Collins and the other bloke. The other.
Bloke, the bloke. Nano not big, he's not, but you
know, like he's the way that they select that bench and now

(01:04:07):
you've got the Arrow making all the tackles and you've got
Carrigan, Collins and Nano coming off like that's
outstanding that that matches the likes of Spencer and Stefano
does, whereas I don't think the Arrow matches Spencer, Carrigan
does. Carrigan's based.
Yeah, yeah. See you, son.
See. What?
But but next year we don't have Papa and who knows?

(01:04:28):
Like we we didn't have Tino lastyear and we lost the series.
We didn't have months last year.We lost the series.
But it's. Not down.
We're needing, no, but we're, but we're a little light on
like, yeah, we, we unearthed RobToyer and we've unearthed
Shibasaki and and a few others. There'll be others.
But there's not too many big bodied Queens there and it's
like maybe Tommy Gilbert or I don't know, what's Flagler
doing? Is he careered?

(01:04:50):
I think he had a shoulder. Yeah, he's it's been a shoulder
issue for about two years. Now I think he might.
Is he, is he careered or is he still playing?
Like, at least at least if you know you've got Flegler coming
back and you've got Gilbert coming back.
I just got nerve transport surgery that didn't look good.
There's not too many big bodies in the Cowboy lineup that are

(01:05:10):
Queenslanders like Kate. And Lars is a blue Jordan
McClain. He's a blue Tamelolo is
illegible. Does not look good. 6th of
September, Flegler underwent nerve graft surgery.
Last year. Six weeks prior to September, so
and he's still not in. Yeah.
He's. Yeah, it does not.
Say I know what you're saying. Yeah, yeah.
If if Gilbert's fit next year. And.

(01:05:32):
I think he'd be a shot. I don't know, Gilbert, yeah, I
don't know about the Broncos, but Payne House obviously can't
play for the Marais and I think rest of their pack like Peter
Boro and Jordan Ricky, are they all Kiwis Like they can't play.
I hope Payne House plays for NewSouth.
Wales. Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
Yeah. He wasn't great.
He was he. Was the man of the magic game
one? Well, he's, yeah, he's he's a
big body. He's overrated, I'm sorry.

(01:05:53):
He made a few errors. Yeah, he also didn't trained for
10 days. He's carrying that leg.
Leg injury. Yeah, there's a fully fit pain
house. He's a scary.
Thing always an excuse. Is is Liam Martin more annoying
than Lua? Looks wise, yes, I can't.
Stand I can't stand Liam Martin.Yeah, he's a he's a niggler.
I think he's the number one bestonly in yourself I'd.

(01:06:15):
Like to say I don't like anybodyin a Blues jersey but I still he
is. I do some like Reese Robson.
Such a little he. Was in my starting super coach
side this year and he just took a back step and just scored like
probably the top of 40 points throughout the whole time I had
him and all this went. You'll see.
I can't see. Yeah, I think he's no good in
Penrith. College can't stand him.
Is he still playing for Penrith?Yeah, yeah, yeah.

(01:06:36):
There you go. That's how much I've been
paying. Attention, he'd be like him and
Cleary. He'd be like the last buddy. 4
Premiership winners left. After all, Yeah, almost.
Yeah. And yo and yo, yeah.
And so how did this the? Captain Hard.
And so but. Also Kurt Cape, or.
Is that was captain? That was a bit of an SOS for
Game 2 Kurti capes. Yep, that's true.
But he's aging like we're we're running out of a bit of running

(01:06:58):
out of a bit of upfront. The Winger.
I'm a big fan of Todd. He's fantastic.
Yeah, I kind of like him. I can't help but like him.
I kind of like young Brian. Yeah, he's he's a good egg.
He gives me a Scotty drink watervibe.
Like I reckon those two togetherwould be out on rat bags.
Yeah, rat bags. That's the word I'm looking for,
rascals. I don't think he drinks.
Probably not With his face he may not.

(01:07:19):
No, but even if he doesn't I feel like him and drinking
together would just be rascals. Would be rascals yeah respect
with Ty how he his arm taped saying Steven on it for Cam's
dad back there yeah. He's, oh look, that is all that
respect. They're all, they're footy
players, but they're they're nice, 90% nice people.
Good island boys, even Lil. I like he's not.

(01:07:41):
That no he's. He's shit, but the same thing
will come around next year. All these players that are in
the Blues team, if they're all in good form next year, Oh yeah,
Nah, there's do they, do they not remember?
You could just say they don't get it.
See, that's the thing with Gallon, right?
I couldn't stand Gallon. He was my #1 hated person, but
he may have been the last personwho actually really it meant

(01:08:02):
something to like. Gallon was NSW and ever since
then. And probably Maloney.
He's. Probably sold NSW.
Maloney I think, too. You reckon?
Yeah, for me it's. Gonna hear him talk.
He's he's passionate in New South Wales.
Yeah, I can see that for me numbers.
I think some of them are. You just don't.
We don't hear about it. Mini cello was we're going back
a bit. Now, and we get around with her

(01:08:22):
Morone glasses on, we do, yeah. Yeah, exactly.
Do we do? We're just better.
We're just better up here. So sum it up.
What a win, what a game, what a series.
A lot of Tommy just. Beautiful.
Tommy D. Watch a replay, watch the
highlights, and then watch it all again.
That's what I do. It just makes you happy.
Oh yeah, the pep in your step that you got for the rest of the
week, like nothing quite gets a pep in your step.

(01:08:44):
Oh, there is one thing that getsa pep in your step like that,
and that happened about October 2015.
Yeah, yeah, that gets it. Still peps.
Yeah. We're still living off that.
Then you you follow the QLD Maroons on Instagram and stuff,
and then you get all the reels with that song Linger by the
Cranberries. And yeah, then you accidentally
call the game 3 Tommy did in 2025.

(01:09:06):
Instead of perfect, it's just fine in the background with all
these highlights. And he spent Thursday listening
to a live stream from a new. South Wales.
Podcast, just knowing the resultand knowing what was going to
happen and just getting to sit there and just give your ears a
feast. Yes.
I kind of feel sorry for Lomax, like that's hard for one person

(01:09:27):
to. I don't feel bad at all.
I do a bit. Yeah, I I know he's that, but
not. Necessarily want him to win, but
for one person to have that basically happen to him where
everyone can point to him and say you're the reason like that
sucked. Well, but it's really like he's
been hunting but. Clearly missed.
Exactly. Missed a few kicks as well.
Yeah, Yeah. And you can say, you know, this,
this tackle here or this miss here, but like, it's very, you

(01:09:47):
know, it's right in front. It's on Main Street.
I'll put it to you, 2015, we canall go.
It was either the field goal to win it, Yep, or it was the Kyle
Felt try. Yep, Yep.
But there were a dozen other keymoments in that game.
Yeah, yeah. 100%. Just before that, Kyle felt try.
He stripped the ball. He.
Yeah, yeah. Knocked it out of Milford Hand.

(01:10:08):
Yeah, and knocked it backwards to get.
To get it back. And that's that I think was the
next set we. Rolled down the field.
Which is incredible. Almost no one remembers that
part. Which is.
The most important bit that's not the bit that's in the
highlight reel. If he doesn't do that, we don't
win. Yeah. 100%.
There were plenty of times before and every game's got him,
I know. But it's those you know?
It's those little key moments. And then you hear JT talk about

(01:10:29):
he's looking for Morgan because he knows Morgan's the only one
who can, sort of. Looks inside the cootie.
Don't want, don't. Yeah mate.
Over off, mate. Where's me mate?
More. I'll tell you what, when you
when you hear him talk about that play, oh man, that's just a
special. Goosebumps.
It really is, yeah. Let's hope we get some
goosebumps for Round 20. Thursday the 17th.
It's a Thursday night game. It's at Suncorp Stadium, a deep

(01:10:53):
in enemy territory, 7:50 PM on aThursday night.
I hate it, but it's got to happen.
Dolphins in 10th place, the Cowboys in 12th.
It's a interesting squad for theCowboys.
Kicking off with Scotty Drink Water at fullback.
Jackson Paolo finds a place on the wing at #2 and #3 is Braden
Burns. Then we've got Zach Leybert and

(01:11:14):
Murray Tulangi on the other side.
Don't be shocked if they switch sides or something.
We often play 2 and the three onthe wrong side.
Jackson Purdue lining up at 5/8 with Tommy Dean at halfback.
Not sure I like it, but there itis.
Thomas Mckaylee starts at prop. Reese Robson back in the hooking
role. Griff name.
Ohh, good. Yep.
OK, Griff. Name Mckaylee starting at prop.

(01:11:36):
About time. Well, this is how it's named.
Yeah, true. If, if we know Todd Payton will
be changed, Reuben Carter in 11,Jeremiah and I at 12 and
Harrison Edwards at lock, we've got Carl Lawton, Kaden, Lars
Kai, Kai O'Donnell and Cohen Hess of the bench.
That's not a bad bench, just quietly.
Not a worst, Kai was actually one of our better players

(01:11:58):
against doggies. He played really well.
Kai. He did.
I'm impressed with Carl Lawton'sservice out of dummy half when
he was doing that too. But yeah, I'm more than happy
for Reese Robinson to be. Backed OH 100%.
Everybody's name starts with thecar.
They do. It's a Kench.
Karl, not a bad Carl. Kaden, Kai and Cullen.
Yeah, that's complicated. They often start off with is it?

(01:12:22):
Kaden, Lars, yes. And Kai, yeah, that's all a
different ker. Karl K, Kai and Kai.
Yeah, eventually. I can't think of anything I.
Can't think of any others. They're all the Ker, but they're
all different Kers. The only one you get is like,
that's the C That sounds like anS Yeah.
So that's what we're missing. That's fine.
We'll go without it. Hameso Tabui.

(01:12:42):
Fido Jemaine Asako, Max Fagi. Have you fine with Jake
Avarillo, Sean O'Sullivan, Isaiah Katella, Frank Molo,
Jeremy Marshall King. Oh, there's there's one Oblix
Tower. Oblix.
Oblix do. You think his dad liked Asterix?
Is is that how it's pronounced or is it like obli?
Is it French obli anyway? Connolly, Limuelo, Oren, Keeley,

(01:13:06):
Kurt, Donaho, Donahue, Donahue And off the bench, which is
Harrison Graham, Ray Stone, JoshKurt and Peter Holler, Ah.
Right. Young Peter Be.
Interested to see how the 17 forthe Dolphs.
Game these bloody players that leave the Cowboys and go down to
the yeah, go OK, so I'm not not too impressed at all.
Is it Raider there for a bit? I think also a dog.

(01:13:27):
Yeah, all Blix Tower. Interesting name.
I'm sure I'm pronouncing that incorrectly, but that's what it
is. Suncorp Stadium.
It's gonna be a tough trip. Do you think that, like I said
earlier, if if it's not working as well for Perdy at six, just
shift him to 1 and drink you to six?
I reckon that's gameplay. Yeah, well, you also want to

(01:13:48):
Clifford at 9, Yeah. Well, for next year when we
don't have a hooker, but then wegot Carl Lawton and we got
Kemple Temple. Kemple Temple.
Or Temple Caleppo. I well look.
Depends where Clifford is next year, doesn't it?
That's exactly right. Yes, we don't know exactly
where. Alright, that's on Thursday
night. Look, just less errors would be

(01:14:09):
nice. Yeah.
If we came down a bit, Bill, he's.
We can hang off that. Just got a good chance here.
Ruben Cotter doesn't have a captain next to his name.
No, that is beside Tommy didn't,but yeah it's Co captain.
It's not listed here, so I wonder if he's dropping Cotter
as captain. If Cowboys win, which I reckon
they will, I'm going to go did and does press conference.

(01:14:31):
Yeah. Oh, actually, because Cotter's
been doing them, hasn't he? Cotter also does, I think.
They swap it. I think did and home and
Cotter's away, but I reckon. Oh, I think you're right.
Yeah. But I think if if cows win, I
think it did, it'll do it. You know they probably rock
page. Don't have a bet?
10 bucks? 10 bucks on a did impresser.
Well, his name is Captain, so he's going to be the presser
anyway. Cotter could.

(01:14:52):
So I'm not taking those odds. It's terrible.
Fine, I'll have Cotter. Yeah, OK, fair enough.
All right, it sounds good. Anyway, up the Cowboys.
Let's see what happens there. Quickly in the NRLW, the Cowboys
went down to the Knights and double Hannah and and then
they're up against Sharks this week.
I believe the squad is identical.

(01:15:14):
Very, very. Yeah, it is.
Looking through this. Hey, China is back in your
beauty. China. 11 or 12?
She's #21 So this is an in, but not quite an in, if that makes
sense. Click on that again there, Bill.
Who was it? China.
No, you didn't have China. No, I accidentally clicked on

(01:15:35):
someone else. I thought you had China.
I wasn't trying to well she bit of a scroll.
Yeah, I. Thought that was only going to
load. I didn't load in half the
picture briefly. What?
Must have just seen if she yeah birthplace QLD.
So she's a Queenslander if she can make Origin?
I wasn't sure if she was. Now she debuted at the Broncos,
too. Junior.
Hey Lookout, I got the same birthday.

(01:15:57):
Oh, hey. Head out, China.
That's a good nickname. Debut.
That's a debut. Is it?
You'd be pretty, you'd be prettyout pressed if she was born in
the 19th of March 2022 when she's playing first grade.
That's an athlete, that's. That's someone that's coming out
of the womb swinging. Maybe, maybe, maybe the glasses

(01:16:19):
aren't so far away. Anyway, up the 80s, let's let's
get a winning streak going. Started so well in round one and
then got flogged by the Knights at home, which is not ideal, but
sharks away, they're in fourth. They're not going too badly.
It's early in the season, so let's see what happens.
Get behind the women anytime youcan.

(01:16:39):
Molly's at sponsors of the show,$15 crumb steak on a Tuesday
night. We could be eating one right
now, but we're not. We're sitting in the studio
talking to you and. They're going to be shut again.
This is bullshit. Absolutely.
Wednesday night tonight, as you're listening to this,
because this comes out Wednesdaymorning, $20 beer and burger.
There's a new burger. Different.
There's a different burger everyweek.
Oh well. The special burger I think you

(01:17:00):
can order like from the range ofburgers, but they have a special
one every week. Chef Special pops up in my feet
all the time and makes me bloodyhungry.
Yeah, yeah. So good it is good. 20 bucks
with the beer. $15 parmi on a Friday night with a choice of
Italian, American, Hawaiian or Indian toppers.
I'm still curious. I want an Indian Topper and.
It's a butter chicken. I've had it.

(01:17:21):
It's outstanding. Is it really?
Yeah, so instead of the Napoli or the red marinara sauce,
whatever you way you want to go and it's a butter chicken.
Oh, I don't know how that would go together.
Yeah, I thought the same. And that's why you've just got
to try it. Yeah, it fornicates your mouth.
Very. Well, OK, all right, all right.
I mean, I like a butter chicken.Don't get.

(01:17:42):
Me, I like a palm and I like a butter chicken.
I can't see how like together. With the Melton Moxie anywhere
it's it's well worth. Yeah, I'm a traditionalist.
I like the pineapple and the hamon the top.
No, you're not. You are a liar.
That's true every time at the the trivia place.
Yeah, you would get the Aussie which came with bacon, egg and
an avocado with hollandaise. Oh no, I love that one too

(01:18:03):
because it because it had the hollandaise.
I love the hollandaise. It's a good Polish hollandaise.
Bacon. You are right Peter.
Peter, Peter is 100% right. Yeah, it was.
They had like palmy world. There's like 30 different
Palmis. They reduced it.
And then on and then on the front pages like 4 things you
could pick like one steak a fishright?
But the rest was all Palmis. Yep Yep.
And the Aussie had bacon, egg, avocado and hollandaise sauce.

(01:18:24):
It was fantastic. It was fantastic.
Sounds pretty close to the French Topper, which is the same
without the egg. Really.
Yeah, it was like diced Maple bacon, cheese, avocado and
Hyundai sauce. Stewart used to do it, but now
they don't. Every Tuesday night end up
talking about bloody food. You're the one that brings it.
Up it's Mollies Copalicious Saturday $15 cobbler.

(01:18:47):
Share it with a friend or eat itall yourself because it's it's
doable. Let's just say that and we'll
leave it there at the point while you're there, What's next?
Several. That's so we can do.
I don't have one because you guys won, didn't you?
So. We came close well.
If if Jackson Perdue had a score.
You had a six legger you. Had a six, legger you.
Had about 24 to one pair, playedwell you.

(01:19:07):
Should be proud of what we put. I was excited.
I was really pissed off on Sunday night when the Bronx won
because I was like, not gonna hear the end of this, not gonna
hear the end of this one. They've just picked up almost a
$600.00 multi. This is Buck for me.
But we had Purdue to school. Yeah, so.
So we missed. We even had a leg that was over
$2.00 too 'cause I know because because Queenslander win was 3

(01:19:30):
bucks. I was, I was 280.
And I did go. Yeah, I'll go Queensland.
I went Lions. I didn't follow you on the
store. And I picked Dolphins.
Yeah, against the Sharks and they stuffed me.
That went wrong. I didn't have Purdue, but I had
cows anyway. Yeah.
And that stuffed me. I had wires.
And out of spite, I went Titans instead of Broncos.
Yeah. See, that's where you went

(01:19:51):
wrong. Went wrong in the third leg.
The doves didn't turn up againstthe shark.
Well, that true. That's that's.
I thought that use one. That's why I thought, no, these
guys could go back-to-back here. No, no, unfortunately we missed
by one leg, which is just going to quickly put him off and
we're. Just going to well.
Pete's got a couple in his. Pocket sieves something.

(01:20:11):
Ready to go? All right, this is going to be 1
morgs, OK. All right, hit me.
And it's one that I've got in here and it's a long play, so
it's not going to be for this week.
Oh wow, well that kind of ruins. This one's not.
This one's not, thanks to FusionNetworks.
Saint Helens to win the Super League, Christ Lions to win the
AFL. Raiders to win the NRL.
Look, it's good on. That it's good, but it is long

(01:20:32):
futures. It's long futures.
I mean, this is not an unusual. Can we have something for this
weekend? This is.
Something that's normally sitting in Pete's Yeah Sports
Bookie account. All right, you know I'm going to
go Cowboys. I always will.
We're going to go Raiders 13 plus against deals.
That's going to happen. Greatest 13 plus against heels
or we quickly top this up. Hang on a second.

(01:20:53):
It's my other team I go for. Big worries.
Against worries against Knights, they'll win 13 plus as well,
yeah. Or they might too.
Warriors. Yep, last 13 last.
OK, visit how a sausage is made later.
Who else do I go for? It's about as quick as the
thought process gets. To We're in, we're in.
We're gonna swift Cage. We're at 11:24 we'll.

(01:21:13):
Go to Lions. Lions against doggies.
Yep, that goes. In that'll be about a dollar
four. Yep, Dollar 52 we'll.
Chuck the Suns in over the crows.
Tons of the crows that'll. Be a tight.
Nah, that's an. That's an easy way.
That's an Adelaide too. Yeah, but don't go that Crows
are good are good. All right, we'll Chuck your pies
in against the Dockers, even though I don't.
That's a good bet happened. That's a good bet, yeah.

(01:21:34):
The Cats against Geelong are notbad chat too.
He's playing West. Cats, Geelong, Rich.
I know that. West Coast are plan, Richmond
and West Coast are in Perth and they're the fave.
Really. Yeah, Dollar 72 to 213.
We'll Chuck the West Coast in. Chuck it in the West Coast.
So we're going to go our three AFL teams and I'm going my 3
rugby league teams. All right, I don't mind it.

(01:21:56):
Cowboys, Raiders 13 plus Warriors 13 plus the Lions, the
Pies and the Mighty. Mighty or West Coast?
Eagles cow plate is 4659, so 20 on.
That's 9/31/82 cents. Almost.
It's slightly. A little different to mine.
I guess I'm doing less bets thanyou the.
Cow play is a little bit different.

(01:22:17):
It's very different. Did you get?
I got 764. $7.60. No, that's the total return.
Power play is 3822. You're missing a leg.
Cowboys Raiders 13 plus Warriors13 plus Lions Pies, Eagles.
Yeah, No. Yeah, my bet's got 3822
normally. OK, Cowboys, head to head.

(01:22:37):
Yeah, 3822. Raiders 13.
Power play? Have you got a power play
option? I don't have power.
No, I don't. Oh.
You've been winning too much money.
They're not giving you it. Must be it.
This is one of a few times I don't have a power play.
Are you logged in? Yeah, I am.
Yeah. I don't have power play.
Wow. Well, if you got a power play
you'll be 4659 and 93180. 2 That's right.
Most of the big power players goto the people who lose the most

(01:22:58):
money. Yeah, that makes sense.
I had a few wins over weekend. I had a bit of UFC bet in, a bit
of boxing bet in. Alright, I'll put this on.
I'll. Put dangling a carrot.
That's like you know how they do.
The bet returns. Now I'm.
Doing a bet returns the. Bet returns love.
To be a bonus bet depending on it.
Used to be like on the horse racing, that if you finish
second off the horse you pick, finish the second or third,
they'll give you a bonus bet back.
Used to be up to about 50 bucks per race.

(01:23:20):
Yeah, depending on who it is. My Max bet is 10 bucks on those
now. Oh.
Really. Really.
They'll only give me up to a $10bonus bet now.
Yeah, I think I was cashing in too many of them.
Too many. Do you remember one of one of
the betting agencies used to letyou do a dollar per ace in the
Australian Open? Yes, that was good.
I cleaned up. I think it was this betting it.

(01:23:41):
Could have been I cleaned up fora few years and before they stop
that, yeah, 'cause you just bet on like Nadal versus some bloody
hack you've never heard of and you just carve up aces all day
long. Yeah.
No, that's fantastic. I think I need to switch to the
one you use because. Oh, Nedley, they.
Are or Ned Neds or neds they give?
The similar bonuses. Well Neds also has a toolbox

(01:24:01):
option for your horses so you can pick a winner, but then you
can also pick a second chance winner I guess.
Oh really? So for your money back in cash,
not bonus bets too. See, they're all trying to try
different things, yeah. Yeah, I mean it's all same just.
For those. Gamble responsibly.
For those also plan along at homes if you did go Raiders,

(01:24:22):
Lions and Saint Helens tour withthe comp this year.
Yeah, 330 to one power plate, ifMorgan's got one, is 39655.
That's not. Yeah, right.
How much have? You How much have you got on
that little sucker? I'm gonna do that for 10 right
now. That's not bad odds.
Consider that's good. They're your.
Favourites. Well, fairly favorite.
Well, no, Saint Helen's a 12:50 are they?

(01:24:43):
We bring up the Super League ladder here.
Before I hit submit on this, I. Thought Saint Helen's were.
That's what I thought. Like.
I think they'd be pumping them right.
Felty's in there every day. That's what I thought.
I mean, they're scoring everywhere.
They're scoring 80 to 4. I don't.
Think they've scored as many tries, Saint Helens?
Way down the way we're not on. Oh no, this is not good.
No Saints a 4th, 4th. Yeah, OK.

(01:25:05):
On, well, they're actually they equal third, really essentially
on on wins. Yeah, but there's a draw there.
There's a draw again ahead of them and no one counts.
Draw. Can you just check if it's a top
8 or a top four in the Super League?
That's. What what the finals are?
Is it a top 8? OK.
Is it a top four or is it a top six it?
Can't be top eight. Top six, I reckon it's fair.

(01:25:26):
Top 4 is a bit tight. They might go top five.
Can you? Wow, it's a long stretch
tonight. Let us go.
Timer is counting down. Finals draw.
Finals format. We might need an old chatty
first, I don't know. I know it looks complicated, but
it's a bit. 4th so stuff A10 on that's gonna that's gonna do.
It 66666 teams. Top 6 all right.
And then they whittled them downto 2.

(01:25:48):
And where were they? They were 4th, but who was fifth
and 6th? What were their points?
Here we go to the whole all overthe joint.
Here this is. Is a good radio.
Fish on the day this. Is this is getting the punters
listening to go? You know what?
Yeah. Look, Hull FC is on 19th, so
there's breathing room. And the Saints can.
They could probably finish thirdor second even.

(01:26:11):
I can still beat Hulk. Hulk.
Yeah, I think it's safe to savorin the playoffs.
We. Could finish above Hulk AR and
yeah. Is it Hulk IR that the Cowboys
partnershiped with? Well, there's a few that have
gone over, yeah. Yeah, I think it is.
Could be. Of all teams, you'd think you'd
partner with the Saints, but youknow.
Felty. Felty's own man, anyway.
He's doing his own thing. Anyway, that's Pistols multi

(01:26:32):
brought to you by Fusion Networks.
On the fly. Yeah, something like that.
But a pistols multi on the fly, we don't get that every week.
No. Which means.
Which means get on board becauseyeah.
Yeah, this is this has had no study at all involved.
I don't, however. It's just your three NRL teams
and your three AFL teams. With a margin West Coast in
there, I'm a little nervous. I would thought that but they're

(01:26:54):
they're at West, they're in WA. And Richmond A.
Basket case. West Coast has been giving it to
a few teams. And I think Baltic can travel
either. He's got the ankle bracelet on
at the moment. I think he can.
He can't play. After a.
Certain time, yeah. No, he he can't play after I
think 9:00 at night really so. He like East Coast time I think.
Anytime. I don't even know if he can.

(01:27:16):
I don't even know if he can leave the state.
So he got done for fighting likehe clocked some guy in a bar or
something and then he was. Got a curse?
Yeah, he went to court and then he got like X-Men of weeks, but
then the judge whacked a curfew on him, which basically doubled
the sentence because half the games he can't play because
halfway through I got to pull him.

(01:27:36):
Yeah, so he. They have a.
Shower and get the talcum powderbolter.
You're off. And he's got to go.
Home. Yeah, exactly.
Yeah. Bolter.
So maybe, maybe it's a game where Bolt is not playing.
He's one of the best. I know we're in NRL One and just
quickly while we're on the AFL, I'm going to stand on this hill
now and say North Melbourne, give it maybe next year, but
within the next three they're going to be a powerhouse again.

(01:27:58):
Really nice to ever agree. I've been watching them and
yeah, they they're like the Lions were prior to when Fagan
started coaching them. They would play good for 3/4 or
even 2 and get blown out the water.
They're playing good for three and they are sticking it with
teams. Starting to compete?
They're starting, yeah, Yep. And they will start and get a
bit of what's happening. Clarco still should be a good

(01:28:19):
coach. No, he's not it.
Oh yeah, he is a both. Yeah, sorry, my mistake.
Yeah. Well, OK, right and say?
I would not be surprised if theymake the 8th next year north.
Well, that might be. A it'll be a stretch but they
could be 9th or 10th. Wouldn't be surprised if you
know they have to win the last game and sneak into 8th.
Put it in a long play multi no. The the good, the one to watch

(01:28:42):
this season is the Suns. Yeah, so they play their first
playoffs, first finals ever for sure.
They just beat Collingwood. They are starting to heat up.
Good old Collingwood. Good old Collingwood, yeah?
Watch Watch North in the next three years.
I reckon they're coming. It's a bit like watching
drinking defence. That's going well.
tipping.com@footytips.com dot AU.

(01:29:03):

this and I put all the names in the list like I normally do?
Yep, I forgot to grab pistol Racing two guys.

points each for NB Sports Fan, Cal and BJK, 96 points for
Flopster, Townsellman and the ERC, 95 points for Mr. T and 92

caught up with me after that perfect round. 77 points for the

(01:30:07):
potato and 73 points for Cowboy Chicken. 79 points so slots in
between Fusion Morgan and the potato is pistol blazing. 2 guns
in 90th. Yeah, look at the last four
weeks, 1522. That is a fall from grace you.
Think. There's a lot of twos, a lot of
ones there Pistol. Yeah, what are you doing?

(01:30:28):
Plan using me Joking next week. I said round 21 will be joke
around. OK, All right, Well, crunch.
The numbers and I did my figuresand that'll be a perfect round
and I'll climb shooting back up the ladder.
Over in the Patreon, Tebbing Kirky.
That's not Kirky. This sometimes happens you you
go into the the competitions andthe IT doesn't update.

(01:30:53):
In fact, it's not even showing me the Patreon comp because I'm
looking at the potato. It's a night.
It's a night for. Sure.
You ever used a computer before? No.
Shows. I'm used to using IMAX.
Sugar Glider is out in front on 92 lbs.
Grovesy. Hawk for Life on 91.

(01:31:39):
Has Blues landed changed his name back 'cause he's a sore
loser? No where is.
Is that the? That's because he's in Patreon.
Oh, he's not 12, right? You might be right because.
He was so much. I thought it wasn't he Grizzly,
87. He must have just changed it
because he's 10th in the main competition, right?
Or he was when I took the screenshot earlier today.

(01:32:01):
So go over to the main. Competition The main comp right
now in 10th is Blueslander. Wrong to you?
Yeah, right. That's Blueslander, but I
thought he was in the. Yeah, no, that's in the that's
in the Patreon one building. Now if you you go to the main
one. Blues Landers not in the Patreon
1. Yeah, unless if he's changed his
name. I can't have because he's Blues
Lander in the main comp. Yeah, but that was off a

(01:32:22):
screenshot, no? No in.
The actual life, that is. Maybe he's.
Not right. Maybe he's not a Patreon.
Yeah, he is, isn't he? I don't think he is.
He's. In the chat page and everything.
No, he's not even a chat, isn't he?
He only ribs you in the comments.
Right, right. How that goes, boy?
Yeah. So, so much of you.
Yeah, 200 and Dan's vouchers snatched right from you.

(01:32:44):
Oh, suck it, suck it. Oh, give you change.
Double nothing for the series. I was thinking double nothing
for the game, and then I was going to go you get on the
series, but you pussed out. Yeah, calling it.
All over it. I can spit him here.
Isn't he ever? This guy's been dropping bombs
all day, so yeah. What's?

(01:33:04):
Yeah, yeah, that's been. Pete's in the mood.
He is in the mood. Alright, let's get to this
round. Hey?
Thursday the 17th, 7:50 PM at Suncorp Stadium.
Dolphins $1.55 and the Cowboys are $2.45.
The potato has tipped the Dolphins.
Peter. Cowboys by 1616, Yeah.

(01:33:24):
And I had a look before the margin on our good betting app
is 13 to 18. Is PAN 11 to 1.
Bill Yeah, give me the Cowboys by 4.
Morgan. Game.
That's a really good question. I will go and you're gonna hate
me first, but I'm gonna go. Dolphins 5-6 kill me, Yeah.

(01:33:46):
Yeah, I'm going the dolphin with5-6 as well Friday the 18th of
July 6. Why don't you start a dolphin's
pod? Points bet Stadium.
The Sharks are $1.67. The Rooster's a 2 bucks 20.
The potato has gone. The Sharks, Peter, I'll.
Call it. Yeah, I've gone sharks.
Yeah, you start a Dolphin's. Pod in the water.
Off hammer all you want. Bill, now give me the Sharks,
Morgan. In the.
Water. In.
The water with the fins. In the water.

(01:34:08):
In the water, yeah, right. Come into a good listener there
you. Coming to the Dolphin tank.
That's quite smart, actually. Yeah, I'm going to go at the
Sharks, 8:00 PM Commbank Stadiumat Friday.
The Panthers, $1.37. The Rabbits are three bucks and
10. The potato has gone.
The rabbits, Peter. Yeah, I've it's going to kill
me. I've gone rabbits too, but I

(01:34:29):
just it's a bit of a cowboy climb.
I knew it had to begin. It had to begin eventually,
Bill. Yeah, give me the rabbit.
Is there a reason? Any reason?
Because I've I've got a feeling in my loins.
Ooh. Feeling in your plums?
Right down to my plum. Morgan Penfield, turn it around.
I'll go Penrith. Yeah, I'm going.

(01:34:49):
The smart money is on Penrith. It is Saturday the 19th, 3:00
PM. Gio Stadium.
Radios, radios, Raiders, radiators.
Yeah, the radiators are $1.25. The Eliators are 4 bucks.
The potato has gone the Raiders pistol.
Raiders 13 plus. Bill.
Yeah, Raiders, all them. Raiders for sure.

(01:35:09):
Me too. Raiders 100 percent. 5:30 PM.
Of course, Stadium Bulldogs dog with 35.
Dragons 3 Bucks 20. The potato has gone.
The Bulldogs. I'm going.
Sorry, Pistol. The Dragons on the same form of
your player team in Townsville. Then you don't play well the
next week. It sort of happened.
Like storm was shit in the firsthalf.
I mean storm did storm things inthe second.

(01:35:31):
Bill yeah, I'll go the Bulldogs,Doggies.
Doggies, yeah. 7:35 PM Amy Park Storm dollar 35 mainly 3 bucks
20 Potato has gone the storm Peter.
Storm stuff, mainly Bill. Yeah, same sentiment.
Morgan. Yes, Storm.
This is the rivalry here, Storm.I'm going Storm as well.
The Battle of Brookfield. The battle well, Amy Park,

(01:35:53):
Sunday the 20th 2:00 PM, Leichhardt Tigers dollar 55
Titans dollars 55. The potato has gone.
The Titans. Peter.
Yeah, Peter. Both teams, yeah, have all year
long. All year long.
Just this year. Just this year, yeah, I've been
on both of them and then I don'tget on them and I'm on the
Tigers this week. Say, put your farm on the

(01:36:15):
Titans. I was hoping you went the
Titans, Bill. Yeah, give me the Tigers as
well. There's no correct answer here.
I'll go Tigers because it's a home.
Correct, that's what I'm. Doing on Leichhardt just the.
Tigers basically getting on Leichhardt, yeah.
I'm betting on them where I can, getting out of bed and going to
the game and not having to fly. Yeah, maybe that four or five.
McDonald Jones on Sunday, the Knights 275.

(01:36:37):
The Waas are $1.45. The potato has picked the
Knights bill. No pistol.
Up the WAAS movement 13 plus. Now, Bill.
We up the waas. Now Morgan.
Waas and get excited guys, this is my first stroker.
The Morgan climb is starting tonight.
It's actually a good idea. I'm going.

(01:36:58):
Oh shit. I'm going the wires as well we.
Edit that. Because we're on equal points by
two, I'm going to. No EDIT Edit this I take it
back. I'm not joking.
I. Take it just zipped your mouth.
I'm doing it in both the main comp and.
No, don't do that. In the OTR subscribers, I'm
doing it in both I'm I'm confident.

(01:37:20):
Because it gets nothing, yeah. Probably I'll I'll get.
We've chipped a dolphin. We're gonna hit it.
We're gonna hit it. That's.
Actually, well, I've got the. Cowboys back, so I've got a
perfect round coming. You get Dolphins wrong, the
Panthers wrong, the Bulldogs wrong.
Well. The potato has gone the joker as
well, and that's not because I'mthe potato.
I'm a bit of a potato. I'm certainly shaped like one.

(01:37:41):
However, the first round after Origin, we said that's when the
potato was doing it. It paid a couple of weeks.
Yeah, I'm on next week. On next week.
Yeah, I I looked at it 5 weeks ago when I shot a joker and it
was around Origin. And I was like Nah, Nah, I'll
wait. Yeah.
And then I thought I'll wait a week after it's all settled.
So that's next week and that's when you.
Run and also there's no Broncos.Yeah, yeah, that's a good idea.

(01:38:03):
And I'm not putting a joker on when the Broncos are planned,
what do they what do you get? 3 buys a year?
I think I've missed one of them, but anyway, that's tipping for
around 20. It starts on Thursday night, the
Cowboys. But let's go bro.
Let's go Fins. Oh.
Boy. Wrong, wrong podcast.
This is on our Fins Up podcast In the Water.
In the water. We're recording it next.

(01:38:23):
In the water with robs and morgues?
Yep. Yep, let's do it.
You talk about how you suck off hammer all night long.
All right. New segment.
You're single. New segment.
Wheel of Time. No, sorry, we're not new
segment. It's Wheel of Time.
No. Well, that is a new segment.
It's a kind of new segment, so. Now we've got 2 new segments to
debut tonight. What we're what we're doing for
this one, It's gonna be hard to explain.

(01:38:44):
I don't know what What we're gonna do is spin a wheel.
Yeah. What comes?
What? What?
Bill has there's 130 tippers in the footy tipping comp the.
Main tipping. Comp The main tipping comp Now
Bill has generated a an electricwheel.
It's such a state wheel because. It's like the state my.
Favorite one? And watch every number at lands
on is where you have to be afterthe final game on Sunday night.

(01:39:08):
So say picks 102 then you can either fall or you can rise.
But wherever you are after the final game Sunday night, if you
are on that number, speak quite this in tell us who you are.
Bit of a meet and greet, so to speak.
I'm going to up the ante on thisif you're in an hear me out if
you're in 102nd spot at anytime over the weekend.

(01:39:31):
Hang on. Well, we got to get the number
first. Let's just say it's 102.
Yeah, if you're in that spot anytime over the weekend and
you're the first to submit a speak pipe.
Yes. With the screenshot.
With this, we'll know. We'll know but it but it can
change game to game. Yeah, we'll know.
Yeah. OK.
But do a screenshot. Just makes that job easier.

(01:39:51):
Shit load. Easier a screenshot.
A three o'clock game, then a 530game If you've got a 30 minute
window to see this 3 screenshot.Let me just scratch that.
If you're 102 at the end of the round, send us a speak pipe and
that gets you. That gets you thanks to our good
friends at Molly Malone's. Go down and have a cup of beers

(01:40:14):
on US. Little $25 voucher from Molly's.
That's that's pretty good. That's good.
And all you got to do is go to speakpipe.com forward slash on
the ranch. Just a quick message.
Gotta pay the link is just it. Would pay?
Yeah. Pay for two.
No. One crumb steak, yeah.
You could probably get a Could you get one of those butter
chicken? You could pardon me, definitely.
Yeah, absolutely. Very nice.
The link for Speak Pipe is also on the On the Ranch Facebook

(01:40:37):
page when Rob posts each Wednesday the episode it is so
you can find it there. And if you just go to on
theranch.com dot AU, there's a link to it there.
There's a link there, so send usthrough a speak pipe, say who
you are, what you're doing, blahblah blah.
And yeah, get yourself a little voucher trap mollies.
Can't go wrong there. It's really money for nothing.

(01:40:58):
It really is Spin that wheel, DJ.
This is fun. Here we go.
Let's go baby woo. 5450. 4. 50. Four page 2.
Girl, page 254. Currently Fusion.
Morgan. Are you kidding?
I'm not. Yeah, baby, that's me.

(01:41:20):
So. It doesn't, but you have to be
54. The conclusion?
The conclusion of the final round this weekend.
It won't be me. I'll be in the 30s it.
Could be you. Yeah, no.
If it's you, you still got to do1.
I'm going up, baby. If it is you, you've got to
speak piping. I could do that like a Danny
Archer or something. I could do that.

(01:41:40):
Well. What do you mean I could be in I
could be in from Edinburgh. Yeah, he is actually, Yeah.
It might be Mickey from Edinburgh.
Please don't. It's not the actual people who
are from. Mickey O Culligan, yeah.
Don't do it, but yeah, if you'rein 54th spot at the end of the
round and you do a speak pipe 20dollar $25 money in the Lions

(01:42:00):
voucher. If you don't come in your way,
you don't get nothing correct and it jackpots for the next
week. Oh, jackpot.
Now we're talking. Yeah.
That's a new one, that now we'retalking.
Yeah, that wasn't. In the yeah, yeah.
Yeah, that's a good idea. Sort of I thought footy and
added that one. Cole, we didn't authorize this,
the jackpotting part. Just something to see us yeah
for the next 7 weeks. I like it.

(01:42:20):
No, no, I like it. That's.
A good move. That's a good move.
I like that. So it's.
If it's one of us, that means weactually now I'm gonna try and
stay in 50. 4 I'm gonna take my Joker off.
Now we're gonna spin the wheel every week.
Yep. And play this every week.
Yeah. So it could be it's gonna be a
different number every week. So, sorry, if you're in the top
20 and you know, if it's a high number that gets spun, you're
probably not gonna get the opportunity.

(01:42:41):
Gives everyone a chance. Yeah, it's fair.
It is what it is. What if it's 130?
The people down the bottom aren't even tipping.
Yeah. Yeah, that's true.
That's true. But I mean pistols off is he is
pistol tipping. No pistols got a good Zing.
Oh, like you're thinking. Next new segment.
We're calling this one the Sale yards.
I don't know. We'll see what happens.
Pay or pass. Which is what you do in a sale

(01:43:02):
yard. Exactly right.
Pay for the beast or the pass. Will be auctioneer.
It is. Yep.
What we gonna do? I read out a couple of
statements. Each one of us is either going
to pay it or pass it. Good or bad.
Do you think it's going to happen?
It's not going to happen. Yeah.
Pay or pass. Everyone does this.
They call it a different name. This is what we're calling it.
Let's leave the. Let's leave the top one to last.
The top one to last. Yeah, I reckon it's a good end.
I'll. Start at #2 We've got Rob Darby

(01:43:24):
to play at 2025 in the seniors. I'm going to pass because he's
not playing this. Week I'm going to, I'm going to
pay. He's going to sit out for a
week, He's going to come back and he's going to come back
strong. OK, Bill.
He's gonna pass because like then says he's gone.
You just he needs to just go back to Q cup and just go and

(01:43:44):
handle the ball and stop dropping it.
And yeah, I mean, nothing bad onhim, but it's just, you know, I
think he just needs to spend that little bit more time
playing the game before you go play with the big boys if you
know. What I mean, it's the reality of
it, Peter. Yeah.
To clarify, if you pay, does he just have to play at least one
game for the rest of the season?Or it can come back
consistently. Don't look for technicalities.

(01:44:06):
It's a. It's a quick fire.
Come on, pay up. I'm gonna say pay because
there'll be injuries. Play out the rest of 20.
Oh I don't. No, no more injuries.
Touch wood or something. We have villy army, viola's not
there. Yeah, I think I know.
Yeah, OK. He'll.
Be back, he'll be. I reckon he'll be back.
Pay a Pay it that he's back. Pay a pass daily to coach the
NSW Origin in 2026. Pass, I reckon they'll slot

(01:44:29):
someone else in my tip agents. I'm gonna pay it.
I think they'll give him anotheryear.
Another year. Why would you?
I mean, I guess he did do prettywell.
They won two games. It's.
Not gone terrible. And look, I I am an old Canberra
fan, so I've got a soft spot forEl Daly, but I reckon, I reckon,
pass on that. Hate him with the passion, Bill.
I reckon hey, because we beat him so we can do it again next

(01:44:52):
time. We want him in there again.
Yeah, Yeah. And Pete?
I would say pay. He signed A2 year contract.
This was his first year. Yep.
And touched on earlier if they kicked in Game 2, Yep, he wins
the series. Yeah, he's not the player out
there. Like they didn't first try like
that should have been wrapped up.
They all stopped playing. So I think the players need a

(01:45:15):
lot more accountability than thecoach paying.
Now this next one is Morgan's threshold.
This is me. Whoa.
Has Monster done a full recoveryfrom the white powder scandal?
I I've got to pay a little, yeah.
I'm paying big time. I'm paying overs.
Yeah, Yep, 100% kept. His head down, concentrated on
the footy. Yep, kept out of the papers.
I don't think he's been in any any trouble since.

(01:45:35):
Not that I've seen. Yeah, I'll, I'll pay it.
Because there's one thing that stops the criticism is winning
100% and playing well. And if you can do that enough to
the point where you don't a white powder scandal gets
completely forgotten about, well, you've done well.
Exactly. I'm saying.
I'd say pay. I think even after he did that,
that was at the start of a preseason or an end of the

(01:45:56):
season or whatever, and he came out, did a 12 months straight
off the drink as well, Yeah. And I think he's better.
I think they won 23 Origin or something like that and he was
off the drink for that whole period because.
Still mostly off it now for the most part.
I think he has a few to get loose.
Which is crazy because it looks like he's on on most of his off.
Yeah, but instead of just havinga yeah, your routine forbid,

(01:46:19):
yeah. He's not having to binge.
He's well, he might save his binge up for maybe 5A year Yeah
instead. Of.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Once a week.
Yeah, and playing better for it.Next one Will Slater coach the
2026 Queensland team Origin? I'm paying all the money.
And I'm paying that 100%. He'll be there, yeah.
Keep him in forever as long as he wants to do it.

(01:46:40):
I think he's personally, I thinkhe's part of that winning
culture. I never understood why he was
even being talked about. Yeah, I I want to say pay, but I
think you'll pass. I just think that this this
series with the whole, you know,he he had to apologise on his
birthday for the Paul Green reference, the woods he calling
him a grub. They're dealing with the
Munsters issue on on game three.I think this series took a lot

(01:47:04):
out of him. It was amazing at the end there,
hugging Munster. And he doesn't have to do it
like he took the job in 22 because they got rid of Green.
We had no one as a coach and he put his hand up for a one season
and now he's being I think this took it out to him and he's won
three out of the four series. Right off into the sunset.
Go coach the Kangaroos, be a lotless hard job.
Can I put a Part B in here before we get to the next

(01:47:26):
question? Pay a pass?
Does Slater coach a club team? No.
Pass. Pass pass.
US I want in there. Don't get me wrong, I reckon
it'd be great if he is, but I think for his own I don't know.
How much does an origin cause you get paid if it's 1,000,000
bucks for the six 6-8 months worth of work.
Hundo 200 I don't know. I mean you get what, 3030 a game
as a player you still get 30 a game.

(01:47:47):
Yeah, a long time ago it used tobe that I.
Reckon I reckon you get a good clean one. 50 is it still only?
30 yeah, 101 Fifty. It's 200.
It's a full on gig, like he watches every Queensland player
for like the six months, like knowing what their habits are in
pre season and last year and everything else and seeing how
they're travelling. Like he is articulate in.
Yeah, he's doing a bit. It's a good question.

(01:48:08):
You know, but while still working on Channel 9, he was.
A full time job, yeah. Yeah, he trains horses too,
doesn't he? Trains horses.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yep.
Yep. OK, does the Melbourne Cup feed
in the stress on that on horseback?
On the horseback. All right, I don't know.
I, I want him to, I I, I just think it's OK.
Don't do the stress anymore. Right off in the sunset.
Enjoy your family time. Second last one, a little bit
left field. I didn't see this one before.

(01:48:30):
Does anybody care about Marvel movies anymore?
Pass no one gives a shit. I'm a hard pass.
I'm gonna. I won't even.
I won't even go for pop. I want.
End Game closed the saga. I want to see another good one,
but there's been a lot of average ones.
So average when you have CGI. Ten episode spin off series like
let's just leave it to the movie. 45 minutes of battles in

(01:48:51):
the sky, I mean. Yeah, come on, you're taking the
piss here. Yeah, take.
It we'll go. We'll go with the pass.
Hard pass. Yeah, this one.
Does anyone care about Batman remakes anymore?
Pass. Have we had about 17 of them?
I didn't even care about Batman. That's a big pay or.
Suit because stop changing the Superman actor.
How often do we need to know theback story of Thomas and Martha

(01:49:12):
Wayne getting shot in the back alley?
How? Many times do we need to go
through that trauma. I'd I'd watch Superman versus
Homelander. Yes, that'd be fun.
There's a a third one now. Is the guy from Invincible?
I don't even know Homeland. Ultramite you have to watch
Invincible. You have to watch the boys.
Oh. OK.
Yeah, yeah, probably. Won't we're back on TV shows
that. People don't, I watched that.

(01:49:33):
I watched the first season and it was, it was a bit much for
me. It's it's pretty full on sounds
like it. Last pay or pass for the night
Todd Payton, coach of the Cowboys in 2026.
I'm paying it. The silence is 10.
Oz 'cause it Morgan goes first. I come back to me.
Can I hold I'm? I'm gonna pay.
I'm gonna pay. I'll, I'll, I'll throw it out.
I'm gonna pass. I, I, I have feeling in my plums

(01:49:56):
that stuff's not gonna go down well in the next 6 to 8 weeks.
I will pay on one condition, getsome sort of support whether
it's a. Full support of the board.
Oh yeah, you don't want to see who's.
Leaving. Some sort of something about
conditioning or we sort out our fitness or our health or, you
know, we, we have some sort of support to make the team.

(01:50:17):
I don't know, they just seem to be like tired and slow and
injured. Yeah, but this is just asking
about head coach. Yeah, it's meant to be quick
fire. Come on.
Oh, I'm struggling here. Feelings aside, pale pass.
Feelings aside, I think who elsehas ever it's a pass for me
mainly just because it's if if there's been a long term plan,
when is the long term plan goingto start looking like a plan?

(01:50:40):
Because he's been there for three years and it's still sort
of seems a bit topsy turvy. What's he going to do?
Is he going to change the team an hour out of the game?
Is he, you know, like what's? He came in in 21 with a bastard
side, an inherited side. He took took him to a prelim 22,
missed out in 23 and then took him to second week of the finals
and it was, you know, we've got unlucky against the Sharks in

(01:51:02):
that. But then.
And then it's this year I'm paying.
What if they go on an 8 game streak?
Oh, if they do, I'll have to eatmy words, won't I?
I'm paying. I'm happy to eat my words.
That you get a new defensive coach, someone to focus on
defence, OK, a specialist. I think it'd be all worn
downhill when they got rid of Maloney or a low range drink.
What? Bring Maloney back 100% and get

(01:51:24):
Gilbert. They should have just never
sacked. Him and just get the money back.
And throw it under the rug lot they can do with pretty much.
Everything in the sound. Yeah.
And then yeah, unless he was ruffling a few feathers there
and someone had it out for him. But yeah, it's.
Yeah, there's our classic rug sweeper.
Very well, said Billy. He's now at Newcastle.

(01:51:45):
That is true. That is true.
Maybe we need him back too. I'm not saying things were good.
And he's great. He's great when you get the same
strike on a golf course. So no more find us all at On the
Ranch NQ on Instagram. You find me at XR Bob on X and

(01:52:05):
you find that guy. Morgan Holmes Evans.
Fusion Networks for the businessand the sponsorship page, and
Morgan Holmes Evans on every social you can think of.
Pistol blazing 2 guns. Is it on the spot?
Yeah, sometimes he is. They're very occasionally.
Very off. It's been a bit rough lately.
Been a bit rough. Got no videographer.
Bill is over there making us look pretty.

(01:52:26):
Making this look pretty. That's And that takes a lot of
effort, I have to admit. Yeah, can't you see the smoke
coming off the. I need some actually some
megahertz in that. There's some megahertz in
megahertz. Up the Cowboys for the week.
Got the girls. No more Queenslander.
Go to cows I. Really want.
It Let's go. To cows.
Up the cows. Here comes, here comes the

(01:52:47):
streak. This is going to be more of a
streak than Frank the Tank in Old School.
