Cheddar from the Big Cheese:
Mike: Over at Disneyland, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad will be closing for refurbishment on September 2nd. No completion date has been announced.
Brenda: The Minnie Vans are back, offering service from Orlando International Airport to Deluxe and Deluxe Villa resort guests. The cost: $199 each way and will accommodate up to six people, with 2 car seats included.
Sophie: The first fall decorations for Walt Disney World are in evidence as the Magic Kingdom prepares for the start of the Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

Cindy said: “The fact that Walt wanted to bring wholesome family entertainment to the world while embracing innovation.”
Lee said: “That he plumbed talent from unexpected places and so reaped extraordinary results in animation and entertainment.”
Sherry Ann said: “Ok it’s very small but it amazes me how he figured out and even just thought about or cared about placement of trash cans!!! This is a man invested in his dream!!”

Mike said: “To me, there are two things that speak volumes about Walt Disney. The first is how much he loved his family. Disneyland came into being because of his desire to spend time with his daughters and being able to enjoy the rides with them. The second thing I really like about Walt is his faith. Sophie: “He kept Lillian and his daughters at the center of his life. Everything he did was first for them and then for the rest of the world.”
