Speaker 1 (00:09):
Welcome to OnTrack Podcast with your host, brandon
and Isabel Diamond.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Hey guys.

Speaker 1 (00:13):
Thank you, guys, for joining us today, on whatever
platform you may be listeningfrom.
Today's episode, we'll besharing the reason why we're
creating this podcast and moreabout where we foresee this
podcast going.
We hope you enjoy this week'sepisode.

Speaker 2 (00:29):
At this point.
You may or may not havelistened to our testimonies.
If you haven't, we encourageyou to go back and listen after
listening to this week's episode.
Of course, we think stories arepowerful and our hope is that
we are not strangers to you, butover time, the community that's
built through this podcastwould feel familiar and offer
loving, encouraging supportthrough the friendships that are

(00:50):
formed.

Speaker 3 (01:01):
We're just going to jump right into it.
I had a dream to do podcasting, and I think something that
sparked that interest was theurge to help others, the urge to
make a difference in this world, and I think, to some degree,
it's hard to do so if you're alittle fish in a big pond, and

(01:25):
that's something that I've justbeen growing in and realizing is
, if you want to get your voiceout there, you're gonna have to
really make a difference to somedegree in an area that you may
not be comfortable in, and Ithink that's podcasting.
For myself personally, and Ithink Isabel is reluctantly no,
I'm just kidding gladly taggedalong in this pursuit, and I

(01:49):
think it's just going to besomething that is so beautifully
crafted by the intentions ofthe Lord and he's just going to
really allow us to fosterpodcasting well and have the
ability to, yeah, just cultivatea beautiful and uplifting and
encouraging and joyful communitythat I've personally not had

(02:12):
the chance to see over socialmedia or over different
platforms.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
I am not reluctant to jump on.
I'm actually quite excited.
I have always had a passion forjust public speaking and using
my voice to impact and createchange.
I just didn't know exactly whatthat would look like and I
think you know, when you getmarried, you kind of dream
together and you see howministry looks within the

(02:39):
marriage and this was justsomething that kind of grew from
it and I'm so excited to seehow God's going to use it
throughout the years and, youknow, integrating our life
within it and all the changesthat come with that.
And, yeah, just allowing God tospeak in and through us and for
us to really hone in on certainareas that have really been
impressed on our heart, that wethink are really valuable, to

(03:00):
dig in a little deeper and havea space to just be raw and
honest and open.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yeah, so there, there's three main things that
we want to provide within thispodcast, and number one, first
and foremost, is loving the Lordwith all your heart, mind, soul
and body, and understandingwhat that means, how to pursue
that and practical steps inorder to obtain that, because

(03:33):
everyone is capable.
And the third thing is going tobe cultivating a community that
we're able to lean on oneanother in hard times, and it's
just really important not tobecome isolated, because the
enemy works in through that to agreater degree than if you have

(03:54):
someone in your corner.
Really understanding whatyou're going through and having
someone to process life changeswith is really important, and we
want to cultivate that here.
And then, last but not least,um, the Lord really shepherds
both Isabel and I very well.

(04:15):
He is a steadfast, loving, pursuant father.
That really has no bounds, andit's just been so incredible to
see him work within our life.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
Absolutely.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
And I think that's just something we want to
incorporate within this podcast.
That's just something we wantto incorporate within this
podcast.
And um, shepherd is an acronymfor, uh, various different words
, eight different words um thatwe want to really press into uh
within this podcast and withinthis community.
So I'll uh hand it off toIsabel.

(04:52):
She's going to get in with thefirst letter.

Speaker 2 (04:55):
Yeah, so S?
Um is safe, safe.
I think, first and foremost, this podcast is gonna, you know,
encourage but also kind of givethat nice little nudge to dig
deep into process and to goplaces with the lord.
Maybe you've never gone beforeand we want to emulate that and
set the example, and that's oneof the reasons we shared our

(05:17):
testimony is ultimately just tobe raw and vulnerable, to create
an environment that's safe andinviting to allow you to do the
same.
The second one, h, is hope.
I think, ultimately, inlistening to these podcasts each
week, we want you to walk awayfeeling hopeful.

(05:39):
You know, in Christ we aregiven this hope that is just
indescribable and it's this hopein Jesus and what he did for us
on the cross.
And I think, in continuing toexplore different topics within
your purpose and within yourChrist-given identity, there's

(06:01):
going to be a lot of hope thatcomes from that and we want that
to really emulate.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Yeah, absolutely.
The next one is E for equipping.
We really want to hone in onequipping you guys with tools
that are practical, that areable to be done every day.
It's not going to be a how-to,but it's going to be steps
you're able to take, as long asyou take the steps prior to each

(06:30):
individual episode.
I think it may not be assystematic like that as we may
want it to be within a perfectworld, but I think taking
actionable steps each and everyday is going to ultimately get
you to where the Lord wants youand he wants to take you to

(06:51):
understand your purpose for yourlife, purpose for your life.
So I think the biggest thing isequipping, and we're going to
provide and make documentsourselves in order to really
give you more opportunity topress into the things that the
Lord is calling you to in atangible manner in order for you
to again carry out that purpose.

(07:13):
And the next one is P forpurpose, and I think I already
touched on that a little bit,but I think equipping and
purpose go hand in hand, becauseyou have to be equipped in
order to carry out your purposeover your life, and we really
want to hone in on helping youunderstand what it is the Lord
is calling you to, and to somedegree that's out of our control

(07:33):
.
But there are steps in whichyou can gain greater discernment
and understanding of what it isthat the Lord is calling you to
, through just self-reflectionand being able to internalize
your thoughts and feelings anddesires and wants and needs, in
order for you then to spit thatinto a system that doesn't exist

(07:58):
.
And then it comes out with yourpurpose and plans that the Lord
has for you.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
I love that analogy.
The next one is H for healing.
And, yeah, we just love thisword because both Brandon and I
have gone through so much innerhealing, which we'll talk about,
and there's a lot that goesinto that and it can be

(08:26):
challenging, but we want to gothere with you and we want it to
be a thread that's within allof our episodes, within all of
our episodes.
You know, as you continue togrow, as we continue to grow
with you, there's going to be alot of healing, a lot of growth
and a lot of freedom that comesfrom that and it's going to be

(08:46):
so transformational and we can'twait and that's just going to
be a pattern that you'll seethroughout all of our episodes,
pattern that you'll seethroughout all of our episodes.
And E is for encourage, and weultimately want you to be able
to be encouraged by theseepisodes every week and

(09:06):
ultimately, as we continue to beopen and vulnerable and you
continue to dig in your ownpersonal walk with the Lord, you
will be encouraged because Godwill be at work and he will
shine brightly and you know he'sultimately the victor over all
the battles that we face andovercome.
And so there's just, yeah, somuch encouragement that comes

(09:27):
with casting our vision and oureyes on the Lord and seeing how
he shows up.

Speaker 3 (09:32):
Yeah, I love that.
The next one is R, and that'sredirecting no-transcript.
But not only that, but socialmedia is something that pulls

(09:53):
you in millions of differentdirections on a daily basis.
I think there is good to comefrom social media, but also
there's a lot of harm.
We're not going to get intothat right now, but we just want

(10:16):
to provide you a direction thatis of the Lord, that is
peaceful, that is joyful, thatis calming and that feels like
something you've never feltbefore because the Lord is in
your midst things that werediscussed today in order to
redirect your life slowly butsurely, not in a day, not in a
month, not in a year, butthrough a healthy chunk of time.

(10:39):
Yeah, the last one is Ddependable.
We want to be dependable foryou guys.
We want to show up each andevery week and make things
happen.
We want to allow the Lord tomove in and through us in order
to move in and through you, andI think that's one thing that is
going to just stay untilwhenever this podcast ends, and

(11:04):
it's not going to be anytimesoon.
So we just really want to buckledown on being dependable and
providing you guys with contentthat is scrumptious love it all
to say is yeah, we just want toshow up for you and be there for
you because you matter.

(11:25):
Last but not least, where weforesee this podcast going in
the future, one big thing isgoing to be interviewing.
We want to interview differentpeople within our community that
are knowledgeable in theirexpertise.
Men need more substance Not tosay that women don't but I'm
going to have the capacity inthis season of our life and of

(11:50):
this podcast in order to reallypress into shepherding men, and
I am privileged to take up theopportunity and we're going to
post solo men episodes once amonth, every fourth week of each
month, in order for us toreally hone in on men that may

(12:11):
not be on track, and we want toget them back on track and
really press into who God'screated them to be in order to
then lead spiritually,emotionally, physically with
their spouse, and not tailoringthat just to a married man, but
to any single men, engaged menor married men.

(12:34):
It's just going to be where wecan get real.
We can get honest and pressinto the things that are
difficult while being a man.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Again, our heart is that we want you to fully move
in God's purpose for your life, obtain clarity through the
storms and create a lifestylethat is representative of the
way Jesus walked.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
We want people to become empowered, walking boldly
and unashamed in theirGod-given identity.
Alrighty, that concludestoday's episode.
In this coming week, we'll behaving a discussion based upon
practical tools to implementwithin your life in order to
leverage further efficiency andset a foundation for the things
to come.
We hope you have such anamazing and blessed week ahead,
y'all.
