Kreeg je vorig jaar niet genoeg van onze eindeloos lange cafépraat over prettige plaatjes? Prijs jezelf gelukkig: ook anno 2023 start deze podcast met een Onder 4 Vrienden-special over het afgelopen muziekjaar. Fasten your seatbelts trouwens, want gedurende 2 uur en 43 minuten volgen lofbetuigingen voor artiesten uit onder meer Mexico, IJsland, Duitsland, Australië, … maar houden we ook meermaals in eigen land halt. De jetlag verzachten we tussendoor met humor van bedenkelijk niveau, anekdotes over irrelevante onderwerpen en grove opmerkingen aan het adres van (de moeder van) Lennard: het enige lid van de bende zonder microfoon. Al vonden zijn vingers - spijtig genoeg - regelmatig de weg richting het mengpaneel vol geluidseffectjes. Daarom al bij voorbaat mijn excuses voor de soms chaotische moderatie.
Komen verder aan bod: Radiohead “met een betere drummer”, Franse posthardcore (of was het hardcore punk?), verbale oorlogsvoering over de nieuwste worp van Björk, … en onze favoriete Pokémon-generaties. Of hoe een gepassioneerde babbel compleet kan ontsporen.
