“Peace allemoale en fuck ol de haters!” Er zijn maar weinigen in (West-)Vlaanderen die niet weten dat deze slagzin aan G Goran toebehoort. Sinds de man op YouTube verscheen met video’s over leven met autisme, nam zijn populariteit een stevige vlucht. En dat werd enkel maar versterkt toen hij in augustus 2015 een cover van ‘Drank & Drugs' op de wereld losliet: ‘Pret & Roapn’. Het internet ontplofte, een nieuw fenomeen was geboren en talloze cafés en jeugdhuizen wilden Goran strikken voor een optreden. De ontstaansgeschiedenis van de monsterhit en de vijf knotsgekke maanden die erop volgden, bespreek ik met de rapper bij hem thuis, in Geluwe.
