Hailing from Philadelphia, PA, The Loved Ones formed in 2003 when former members of The Curse (Dave Hause), Kid Dynamite (Michael Cotterman), and Trial by Fire (Mike Sneeringer) got together. In less than a decade, the band produced two full-length albums, two EPs, and one split before calling it a day. While they periodically reunite for a show here and there, the band formed, released a handful of excellent records, and then exit...

Before last week, I'd never listened to an album by Coldplay. I'd heard of the band and even liked a few of their songs, but that was it. So I decided to change that and give them a go. I created a playlist with their albums and EPs, listened to it all, and recorded my first impressions.

Both albums have distinctive covers that leave an impression. Fast forward to 2024 an...
