Today's episode features Kelly Lynch, a domestic violence survivor. After being trapped in her home at knife-point for two and a half hours by her husband, Kelly was able to remove herself from an abusive marriage and start over with an 18-month-old child. But Kelly is also therapist with practice out in Connecticut called Turning Point Wellness who recognized that her own story and experiences as well as being a mental health professional gave her some valuable insights for other young single mothers to turn their lives around at the moment in time that they probably feel it’s impossible to do so.
