Are You Paying Attention?

Look around—our society is growing more violent and immoral, just as Sodom and Gomorrah once did. The Bible warns that unchecked sin only worsens. The only true hope is found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Are you paying attention?

Had a guy ask me at the post office theother day if I was paying attention to
what's going on in the world around me.
Hi, David Hill with a Gospel Minute.
I assured him, yes, I ampaying attention to it.
And we talked a little bit about it,and what he was concerned about and
what I'm concerned about is the sexualperversion that's going on in the world.
It is being openly practicedin our society and no one

seems to be condemning it.
I assured him that we weredoing the best that we could.
And, I mentioned to him, and Itell you, that if we don't stand
against it, no one else is going to.
Sodom and Gomorrah became alawless, sexually immoral,
perverted, and eventually veryviolent society (Genesis 19).
They progressed to such a decrepit statethat God destroyed them without a trace.

(00:45):
All forms of sexual immorality werepromoted there until not even 10
righteous people could be found.
Things were so perverse for so longthat they pass the point of no return.
It can happen.
The "go along to get along" spiritwill not appease such people,
for they insist on going furtherand further into disobedience.
Are you paying attention?

The Bible teaches perversionunchecked gets worse and worse.
The only hope is the objectivemoral standard applied, which
comes from the Word of God.
If there's any hope for us,then it's through the redemptive
Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Don't be ashamed of it.
Teach it, live it, defend it, and gohome to live in peace with God in heaven.
That's the Gospel.
