(00:00):
I hear men talking today about workingmiracles, and they're religious people.

(00:05):
They say that they can still performmiracles just like the apostles did, by
and through the power of God Almighty.
And so we hear them talk and discussthis matter, and they say God is still
the same today that He was yesterday.
Well, that is true.
Nobody denies that.
And it's not a questionof what God can do.

(00:26):
God could stop the worldright now if He wanted to.
He could stop the universe.
He could burn it up.
He could destroy it.
He could stop your life and mine.
It's not a matter of what God cando—it’s a matter of what God is doing.
The Bible teaches that those miracleswere for a time and a season, and that
time has passed away, for they confirmedthe Word of God (Hebrews 2:3-4).

But I'll tell you one thing (00:49):
if a man can perform miracles, he can
raise the dead, because that'samong the performing of miracles.
Let one man raise a dead man,and I'll make hair grow on
every doorknob in this city.
I'm Malcolm Hill.
