It’s On: The Charge to Teach

Paul’s words in II Timothy 2:2 remind us of the charge to commit the gospel to faithful men who will teach others also. As Tennessee Bible College begins its fall quarter, the focus remains on preparing Christians to carry the truth of Christ to future generations. Hi, David Hill.
The apostle Paul said, "The thingsthat you've heard of me among many
witnesses, those same things commit tofateful men that they may be able to
teach others also" (II Timothy 2:2).
Authority, our charge, and reasonto exist for 50 years is to teach
others that they may teach others.

Remember, it was through his teachingin the School of Tyrannus for two and
a half years that the apostle taughtall of Asia, or at least all of Asia
heard the Gospel of Christ, accordingto Acts chapter 19, verses 9 through 10.
Supported by churches of Christ andindividuals, the apostle Paul did his
work, and so do we (Philippians 4:15-17).
