On Target

Are you hitting the mark in your walk with Christ? The Bible shows that sin is missing the mark—choosing the wide, easy road instead of the narrow path Jesus calls us to follow. We can’t guide ourselves; we need God’s direction. His Word is clear, true, and leads to real peace and faithful living. If you want to stay on target, Jesus is the only way.

We understand very well what it meansto hit the bullseye—the very image
used by the Holy Spirit to describeour walk as Christians: "Pressing onto
the mark of the high calling of God inChrist Jesus" (Philippians 3:14), guided
by the Word of God (Psalm 119:105).
To sin is to miss the mark—to fail todo that which is good (James 4:17).

(00:23):
Jesus depicted it as a choice betweentwo roads: a superhighway or a narrow,
difficult road (Matthew 7:13-14).
The one most appealing is not theone He recommended, teaching us
that following Him is difficult.
It's challenging.
To miss the mark is to transgressthe law of Christ (I John 3:4).

From old times we learn it's not inman to direct his steps (Jeremiah
10:23); we must have God's direction.
The target's clear (John 8:32).
God's Word is truth (John 17:17).
