What Does the Lord Require?

Micah 6:8 teaches that God requires His people to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with Him. For Christians, this means faithfully attending worship, sharing the Gospel, studying Scripture, giving generously, serving others, and growing in faith. God is living and calls His children to be active in His work.

The prophet Micah asked and answered thequestion, "What does the Lord require of
you but to do justly, love, mercy, andwalk humbly with your God (Micah 6:8)."
What does that mean to the Christian?
Attend all services of theLord's Church (Hebrews 10:25).
Teach others the Gospel(Matthew 28:18-20).

Study your Bible diligently(II Timothy 2:15).
Give of your means and ofyourself in service of the
Master (II Corinthians 9:6-7).
And grow your faith as aChristian (II Peter 1: 5-10).
God is a living God, and He expectsHis children to be active—active
in the work of the Lord.
