Today I want to talk about acool set of tools from Adobe called
Adobe Podcast, which looks tomake life easier for podcasters when
it comes to making your showsound great. These include Enhance
Speech, Studio, and Mic Check.Enhance Speech is similar to Descript
Studio Sound in that it takesreally bad audio and makes it sound
a lot better. So if you're ina very noisy environment, for example,

or your recording has a lot ofreverb, Enhance will remove that
and give you studio qualitysound. I actually prefer this to
Descript as I feel it's just alittle bit less aggressive when it
comes to the processing. Youcan also adjust how much repair it
does to the audio, which infairness Descript also lets you do.
Studio is Adobe's recordingand editing suite where you can record
locally or remote, edit therecording, add sound effects as well

as copyright free music,transcribe the audio and create audiograms
for sharing on social media.I've already spoken about Mic Check
in episode one oh tw and andI'll leave a link to that in the
show notes so you can check itout. But essentially it tells you
if you're too close to themic, have too much gain or volume
on your mic, if there'sbackground noise in the room, or
reverb on your vocal. So youcan fix all that before recording.
