Speaker 1 (00:01):
In my hand today is a sledgehammer.
I'm going to use thatsledgehammer to demolish a very
detrimental mindset that you mayhave and still encourage your
socks off in less than sevenminutes.
Let's see if I can pull it off.
Thank you, welcome back to theAll Purpose Pod for an

(00:52):
all-purpose life.
Wherever you are and howeveryou're listening to the
Inspiration Station and theycall me Mr U.
Thank you again for listeningand making us part of your day.
I'm going to do what I said Iwas going to do in less than
seven minutes.
I want to demolish a verydetrimental mindset that I see
in so many people hearing fromyou guys and also, hopefully,
encourage your socks off in lessthan seven minutes.

(01:15):
So let's go.
Number one you have something tooffer.
I know I hear that even when Isay it to many of you throughout
our social media platforms andall of our listening platforms,
but you have something to offerto this world around us.
Your story is unique, don't getme wrong, but someone has a
similar story to yours, maybealmost an identical story, in a

(01:38):
different part of the world.
If only one person sees yourstory or hears your story and
gets activated and getsencouraged in the area.
Guess what it's worth it.
You do have something specialto offer.
It is unique, it is different, but you're not the only one
that's dealing with that samething.
Somebody else is also.
The reason why you can't see itis because you're in isolation.

(02:00):
You've got to get out of there.
Even though it's your lifestory number two, even though
it's your life story, eventhough it's your situation and
you kind of have become at aplace where you want to own it,
you don't have the right towithhold it.
What does that mean?
I always tell you, guys I'm afirm believer that we are a very

(02:21):
collective community.
Despite the divisions being fedto us through media and other
outlets and channels, we are acommunity Whenever we go to a
place where we come together insome kind of corporate
connection or activity or event.
Together we feed each other.
What we speak and what we share, what we give, what we offer,
what we receive, is allreciprocal and it helps all of

(02:45):
us to grow individually andcollectively as a community.
We are a collective community.
What you have to offer, even ifyou think it's your story, it's
your life what we have to offeris a blessing to somebody else.
I truly believe this becausewhen I first started this
podcast, I shared so much of mypersonal life, to the detriment

(03:07):
of some personal relationships.
I shared my life out here onsocial media, on this podcast
platform, and I heard back frommany of you hundreds and
thousands of you, as a matter offact who said how much it
blessed them to hear my storyand how much it helped them get
free from some areas in theirlife.

(03:28):
So we can't share enough, wecan't help each other enough.
We are a community and weactually need each other.
That's really, really important.
And number three please I knowwe do this all the time and I
think it's just a habit now, especially with the media,
social media world that we'reliving in right now Please stop

(03:48):
looking for a mixed bag ofinsights and wisdoms and help
from other people, because mosttimes we have a bag full of
information and knowledge but wenever go back into it to use it
.
We just have it there as somekind of security blanket.
Stop looking for a mixed bag ofinsights and help from all
these gurus and so-calledsubject matter experts.

(04:11):
Just quit that.
Actively and I'm emphasizingbecause it's really, really
important Actively andconsistently.
I'm going to say it againactively and consistently
support those who you have found, that have been helping you,
that have been encouraging you, that have been a support to you
in what you're dealing with inyour life, not the five and tens

(04:34):
and hundreds, all the influenceout here.
I'm talking about the one ortwo or three individual areas,
whether it be a podcast, whetherit be a blog, whether it be
some kind of areas, whether itbe a podcast, whether it be a
blog, whether it be some kind ofwebsite, whether it be
somewhere you have access to aperson who actually, speaking
your language, actively andconsistently support them.
Forget about trying to chaseeverybody else down.

(04:56):
If you're feeling somethingthat's authentic coming from
these people and you feel likeit's real and it's genuine,
support them consistently.
Support them actively.
If they ask feeling somethingthat's authentic coming from
these people and you feel likeit's real and genuine, support
them consistently.
Support them actively.
If that's for somethingfinancial and you feel led to do
so, support them financially.
Stay in that lane.
Don't try to find all theseother conglomerations of people
who say they're going to helpyou or offer this kind of

(05:16):
so-called self-help.
Actively and consistentlysupport those that have been
authentic and genuine for you.
It has been a blessing for you.
Don't ignore them.
Try to find five or 10 morelike them.
Support the ones that you haveactively and consistently and
honestly.
You never know this and I'msaying this from my personal
standpoint.
But hear me on this one theymight need you as much as you

(05:41):
need them.
I'm gonna say it again forthose in the back, these folks
that you found to be authenticand genuine and consistent they
might need you just as much asyou need them.
Number one you got something tooffer.
Your story is unique.
Actively share it, beencouraged by it and the impact

(06:02):
it can have on somebody else'slife.
And two, even though it's yourstory and your situation and
you're actually knee-deep in it,you don't have the right to
withhold it.
We're a collective communityand we actually need and we feed
from each other.
And lastly, stop looking forthe mixed bag of insights and
wisdom from so-called self-helpgurus.
Actively and consistentlysupport those who have been

(06:24):
authentic and genuine to you.
Hope that helps.
Less than seven minutes, like Ipromised.
Hold it to the blessing to youguys.
Have a great day.
Thanks for listening.
We'll see you next time.
