Something powerful happens when men drop their guards and speak honestly about their experiences. Since launching our Men's Roundtable series, messages have poured in from fathers, husbands, sons, and brothers describing profound shifts in their marriages, self-perception, and personal growth. One listener shared how our conversations changed what he sees when looking in the mirror—a testament to the transformative power of giving men permission to simply be real.

Today's brief but heartfelt episode celebrates these connections and explores why creating safe spaces for men matters. While society often portrays men as emotionally limited, the truth is far more complex. Some men express freely, but many more feel deeply while sharing sparingly. By providing a judgment-free zone to process these complexities, we're witnessing men embrace vulnerability in ways that strengthen their relationships and sense of purpose.

The next Men's Roundtable episode arrives July 25th at 11am EST, tackling an even more challenging topic as we continue peeling back the layers of modern masculinity. I'm especially passionate about countering the narrative that men are consistently falling short. Every day, I witness countless men doing the difficult, sometimes messy work of showing up as partners, parents, siblings, and sons with commitment and integrity. They may not be perfect, but they deserve to be seen and celebrated. We're in this journey together, refusing to relent in our pursuit of authentic manhood. Share your thoughts with me directly—I'd love to give you a shoutout on our next episode.

here into the ether, is withyou guys in mind and it's with
you guys always on my mind.
Hopefully I'm meeting a needwith some of the content that
we're putting out here for youguys.
It's about you as much as it isabout me.

(01:41):
I just want to say thank youfor all you guys are putting out
in this really quick episode.
I wanted to shout out all ofthe men that I've been hearing
from, all of the brothers, thewarriors, their fathers, their
husbands, the sons, the brotherswho are reaching out to me Let
me know what they've beenfeeling and how the men's round

(02:03):
table series has been resonatingwith them.
It's been a few weeks since wedid our premiere episode and I'm
still hearing from you guys.
I'm still hearing how thatimpacted your life, your
marriage, the way you seeyourself when you look in the
mirror.
I'm hearing some astoundingthings.
So, man, I'm excited.
Actually, man, I'm over themoon with excitement, man, just

(02:26):
because of what I'm hearing.
So thank you guys for sharingit, because I would not have
known otherwise had you notshared it with me.
So I appreciate that.
Please keep those messagescoming to me.
I'd love to hear more from youguys regarding that, the impact
it's had on you, your thoughtsabout some of the topics and
even topics that you may want tohave us discuss on future
episodes of the Men's Roundtableseries.

(02:47):
So let me know how that worksfor you.
But I guess also, my heart todayis the idea of men helping men.
You know there are so manydifferent labels and a lot of
mixture in regards to how we'resupposed to be or how we're
perceived, or people think weshould do or how people think we

(03:09):
should act.
But what's awesome about theMen's Roundtable series is that
we just talk about what weunderstand.
We're not trying to reinventthe wheel, we're not trying to
fix all of the problems.
We're just talking about whatwe know.
We're talking about what wefeel, and for men that's a big
step.
We rarely ever do it.

(03:29):
Some men are feelers, some menare over feelers and we talk
about everything and maybeperhaps we overshare.
But most men the majority ofmen are on the other side of
that dynamic.
They share less.
They feel a lot, but they shareless about how they feel.
And the Men's Roundtable serieshas been opening some doors.

(03:52):
It's a safe space.
We talked about it many timesand we're going to definitely
hold to that.
We're not allowing anybody tomake it an unsafe space for us
men, so we're going to continueto keep doing that.
Our second episode of the Men'sRoundtable series will be coming
up July 25th I believe it is At11 o'clock AM EST.
So we got a morning broadcastComing up this month For all

(04:14):
those folks that are on the WestCoast and for those that have
their mornings free, or you'regoing to watch us on replay and
check it out, then, without adoubt, I'm sure you're going to
enjoy the content, this topic Iwon't spoil it but this topic is
a really tough one for men.
So the topic is going to getharder and more broad and more
deeper because as men, we got alot of layers and we're very

(04:36):
complex.
So we're going to get into alot more stuff there.
But I just wanted to come overhere and shout you guys out real
quick.
Let you guys know that Iappreciate you, all that you do
in all the areas of your lives.
I see a whole bunch of men thatare doing it and they're doing
it well.
People talk about men as ifthey're coming up short, but I

(04:56):
know plenty of men More fingersand toes than I have on my body
that I see men who are doing it.
They're doing the work andthey're doing it with excellence
.
They're pushing forward to bethe men of God they're supposed
to be.
They're pushing forward to bethe husbands to their wives and
the fathers to their childrenand the brothers to their
sisters and siblings.
They're who they're supposed tobe.

(05:18):
They're even being sons totheir parents.
They're being exactly whothey're supposed to be.
It's not perfect.
It's not pretty, sometimes it'skind of grimy and messy, but
they're doing the work and theyshould be applauded.
So our upcoming roundtableseries and episodes, just like
this one, I'll be shouting youguys out, letting you know that
I appreciate you, I see you andyou know what.

(05:39):
We're in this together.
We are not going to relent.
We got a work to do and we'regoing to do it together.
So we're in this together.
We are not going to relent.
We got work to do and we'regoing to do it together.
So I'm proud of you guys.
Continue to keep listening.
Thanks for sharing us with yourfriends and your people.
Look forward to hearing fromyou guys really soon.
And, by the way, drop me a text.
I'll shout you out on the nextshow.
