that matters.
All right, once again, peace,family.

I'm your host, carl Girard, andI appreciate you locking in
with me.
Now listen, whether you've beenfollowing every episode or this
is your first time, tuning inthis space is all about truth,
clarity and conversation.
That truly matters.
Now, listen, I'm not here totell you what to think.
I'm just here to lay it out foryou.
All right, let's talk aboutsomething that's not getting
(00:48):
enough attention, but it should.
The Department of HomelandSecurity just dropped a
bombshell decision, and it'shitting hard in the Haitian
community.
Over 500,000 Haitians illegallyliving in the US under what's
called the Temporary ProtectionStatus, or T, now facing
possible deportation.
Half a million people who havebeen working, raising families,
(01:10):
paying taxes, are now being toldthat their time is up.
So here's the rundown.
The Department of HomelandSecurity says that the situation
in Haiti has improved enoughthat TPS is no longer necessary.
That's the official story, butlet's be for real for a second
y'all.
What's actually going on inHaiti?
Okay, there's a lot of violence, a lot of things that's going
(01:34):
on in Haiti right now, and we'retalking about a country that's
still in deep crisis.
Since March 2024, there's beenmore than 1,800 kidnappings,
8,200 killings and gang violencehas literally taken over the
streets, especially in placeslike Port-au-Prince, and over
1.3 million people are displacedinside their own country.
(01:55):
Gangs are running the wholeneighborhoods and the US is
still saying, nah, it's safe togo back in, y'all don't have to
worry about nothing, but let'stry to make it make sense.
Somebody help me out here, because none of this makes sense
to me.
You're telling me that folks, you're telling these folks here
to uh, pack up, head back to aplace the us department, the us
(02:17):
state department itself has saidthat the americans should not
travel to.
Now the us state department istelling americans not to go to,
but you're telling these peopleit's okay to go back.
Now, people like North MiamiCouncilwoman Mary Esteem Irvin.
She's speaking out and shecalled it outright unjust and
I'm with her on that.
One man.
This is just totally unjust.
(02:38):
Other advocates are calling thisa potential humanitarian
disaster and some are sayingHaiti is basically a war zone
and sending people back is likethrowing them into the fire.
And let's not forget TPS wasn'tjust handed out randomly.
It was created by Congress toprotect people fleeing natural
disasters, political violenceand total instability.
(03:01):
Haitians got that protectionafter the 2010 earthquake and
again after the president wasassassinated in 2021.
So why end it now, folks?
All right, listen, this is justthe same politics.
This is people, lives andfamily, children, folks who
built homes, careers, entirelives right here in the US, now
(03:22):
being told it's time to leave orrisk deportation.
And that's not just cold, that's dangerous.
Listen, guys, we're going tokeep our eyes on this because
when policies start pushingpeople into the shadows, we have
to speak up.
We have to speak up.
This is a disgusting action andthe sad part about it is that
(03:43):
you're deporting these peoplebut you're allowing Afrikaners,
who have basically told and youcan, folks, you can get on
YouTube and pull up anydocumentary about the Afrikaners
that these are a set of whiteAfricans who don't want nothing
to do with black Africans inAfrica.
(04:08):
Telling Haitian Americans orpeople from Haiti who's fleeing
their country because ofoutrageous violence.
And you can pull up severaldocumentaries, several
interviews, boots on the groundwhere people are talking about
what's going on in the countryof Haiti, and this is what we're
(04:30):
getting here.
So please, guys, start speakingup against these injustices or
they're going to keep going onright up under our noses with
absolute impunity.
