In this episode of Mic Drop, I break down the bizarre Delaware case where a man allegedly stole a vehicle, had it towed, and then contacted police asking for help retrieving his personal belongings left inside. Is this just another “dumb criminal” story, or does it reflect a deeper disconnect between actions and consequences?

SPEAKER_00 (00:02):
We've all heard of criminals who have made some bad
decisions, and we might evenknow a few people that are
criminals that made some baddecisions.
But this guy's decision might bethe stupidest decision ever
made.

(01:04):
Hunter's Crossing.
Minutes later, the car was gone,as it would be if you left the
car running and unattended.
So now we fast forward to thenext day.
Now, young Mr.
Baxter here got on the phonewith the police, not with some
type of uh, you know, consciousconflict to say, well, hey, you
know, I was wrong.

You know what this dummy did?
He wanted his stuff back that heleft in the car.

He told the dispatchers thestolen vehicle had been towed
and he needed his pickup, liketo pick up his personal items
that he left inside.
And of course, it didn't takelong for officers to find this
goofy, but guess where theyfound him, folks?

(01:45):
Take a wild guess where theyfound him.
On the same street where the carwas taken.
You big dummy.
Needless to say, young Mr.
Baxter was arrested withoutincident.
He's now being charged with afelony count of theft of a motor

YouTubers and you know, theserappers and whatnot, these guys
are getting on these interviewsand totally incriminating
themselves and then wonderingwhy the feds is like kicking in
their door, you know, a fewhours later.
