(00:00):
Hey, just wanted to remind you that Uki Spooky Sessions has moved to a video format over on YouTube.

(00:05):
I'm going to keep releasing this here, audio only if you want.
You can still go to the social media pages and see the cards there.
But if you want to see the whole thing play out, you can check it out on YouTube.
Alright, another Uki Spooky Session begins.

(00:31):
Happy New Year to you, wherever it is that you might be.
Hope you had a pretty decent 2024 and wishing you all the best in 2025.
So this is going to be a little bit of a wonky one, just with holidays and stuff.

(00:54):
Clearly didn't get to it at the beginning of the week like I usually do.
So this is going to cover from January 2nd through January 11th,
where we'll get back onto our regular schedule.
The artwork for this one is going to be my Santa Muivte Deck.
One of my favorites.

(01:16):
So bring your inquiry clear to your mind.
I like to, the way I like to phrase it is bring it into your mind's eye.
Have it sitting right there in the front of your mind.
So starting energy for this first reading of the year.
See inverted two of pentacles.

(01:37):
This one represents being overwhelmed.
Things being messy because things are imbalanced and there's uncertainty.
That goes along with that.
In our second position, this is the struggle or obstacle.
We have the strength card inverted, self doubt or low confidence.

(01:58):
Here in the third position is what we focus on.
It's the ace of cups.
This is creativity, new feelings or emotional awakening.
Over here in the discard position, see five of swords.
It's arguments, conflict and hostility.
No shit, right?
Down here in the fifth position, our spiritual exercise is the inverted queen of cups.

(02:22):
This is usually a good card, but inverted.
It's needy, over sensitivity or being dependent on things that don't need to be dependent upon.
And lastly here in our self care, this is the inverted eight of cups.
This is accepting less avoidance or fear of change.

(02:45):
Our supplementary cards here on the sides.
Six instinct is worth work ethic.
This is working hard and being trustworthy and reliable.
So pretty pretty standard standard term, I suppose.
The angel number over here zero five five zero.

(03:05):
The keywords of this one are intuition, romance and potential.
The little phrase underneath the number here is eye candy.
So I don't know the true intention over here.
We have uncertain.
My intentions are not yet clear.
I'm still trying to figure it out, whatever and classic or standard cards.

(03:30):
So Nancy, we got the three of hearts.
This one is love, emotion, affection.
You get the idea.
So let's put this whole thing together.
No.
Apologies for the delay again, but I think getting this put together and out on New Year's Day

(03:52):
was a really fitting move.
I'll give in that it's the beginning of the year, right?
So up here, the two of pentacles inverted.
I think this is a good bit of energy to sort to start the new year with.
It's a bit of a stretch.
I know.
So keep up with me here.
Now, the two of pentacles is typically a sign that we're trying to keep two or more things balanced

(04:16):
and we don't really need to be doing so.
It's typically to no shit is the two of pentacles, but you know, you know, your life better than I could ever say.
So if there's more than that, there's more than that.
Some people don't have the good fortunes of being having to only two really crappy situations to deal with.

(04:37):
The deeper meaning of this card, though, is the necessity to step back and reassess things.
I know that it doesn't sound like a good starting energy for a week long, week plus reading,
let alone for the year, but I think that the implication of this card and how it fits into the reading in general is actually a good thing.

(05:07):
One another implication of the two things that we're struggling with, two things that are imbalancing is that we don't have to be struggling with one or either either one of them.
Right. In the struggle position, the strength card right here, having it inverted is very fitting.

(05:33):
Given what we have up here in the energy starting energy position, the strength card upright represents no shit strength.
Inverted though, we're looking at an absence of it.
The inverted strength card and the absence that it represents can be filled with a lot of different negative emotions from the more obvious types like powerlessness or helplessness to the more abstract like lacking self-confidence or feeling unfulfilled in our day-to-day lives.

(06:02):
I would say that these feelings that this inverted strength card is suggesting, it's a normal thing to struggle with when we're feeling like we're being overwhelmed, trying to keep up a balancing act and it's just taking a heavier and heavier toll by the day.
So how do we overcome these feelings presented in the first two positions?

(06:26):
The Ace of Cups, like all aces, it's a great card, represents letting go of a lot of baggage from previous days, but the cups in particular, the Ace of Cups is emotional baggage.
It's the exact remedy for what we have up here in the starting energy position.

(06:46):
And the second or third order effects of the Ace of Cups are a remedy to the emotions that we encounter with the inverted strength card.
More directly, I think the Ace of Cups in this, the focus or embrace position, it's a sign of starting fresh and finding new creative modalities of emotional fulfillment.

(07:09):
Now moving on to the discard slot, the Five of Swords straightforward with its message and that's stopping conflict.
On the surface, it's simple that we shouldn't be putting ourselves into confrontational positions with other people.
Whether we mean to or not, especially when we're dealing with the heavy emotions that we're looking at here,

(07:35):
we can end up taking out our problems out on other people.
My thinking, though, is the conflict that we're trying to avoid is the conflicts that are being referenced in these two positions within ourselves.
Forcing ourselves into a balancing act we don't need to be feeling limited by continuing that balancing act.

(08:00):
Those are the types of conflicts that we should be avoiding more than any other.
Moving down here to the spiritual exercises, the Inverted Queen of Cups is a sign of awareness that we need to take into our mindfulness practices.
Now the Inverted Queen of Cups, it's a sign of being out of touch with our emotional selves.
Now considering the emotions or the issues that are being presented by the reading, especially these first two positions here, the struggle and starting energy,

(08:28):
makes sense that discarding our inner conflicts would entail becoming much more in touch with the voices of our hearts.
Right?
There are a lot of ways you can go about this.
My personal is journaling, but there are, you know, more than enough ways, and I'm sure that you have a favorite.
If you're hearing this or watching this, chances are you already have a favorite mindfulness practice, so whatever works best for you.

(08:54):
Last bit, last card in the tarot spread is the self-care practices.
Inverted Eight of Cups, this typically means feeling uncertain and unable to decide on what the best roads forward for ourselves, for what is best for us.
And this indecision often results in settling for less because we don't know what to do,

(09:19):
or we're unwilling to be assertive in taking the path that we know is best suited for us because the fallout of doing so is going to be uncomfortable.
So how the fuck is that self-care?
Yes.
The self-care part of this, I think, starts with a very, very difficult, but completely necessary, like you cannot skip this step.

(09:43):
The first step is grace.
We all know how difficult it is to make decisions that are going to be uncomfortable or even painful for some or all parties,
even if the ultimate outcome is going to be a net positive.
So the first step is to give ourselves grace as we step back on making things right for the new year, going into the new year.

(10:09):
Now, for the supplemental cards over here on the sides, they're all pretty much perfect supporting rules for the entire tarot reading, the sixth instinct.
I think it's one that's a good addition to the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions.
Now, discarding negative emotions, trying to rectify our hearts with our minds is not an easy feat.

(10:34):
You don't need me to tell you how that that's the case, but it does bear repeating.
I can say from experience that it is extremely difficult to put your mind and heart at peace with each other.
It is really, really hard, but it is absolutely worth the effort, 100% worth every bit of difficulty that it presents.

(11:01):
Now, the difficulties that it presents and the prize at the end of the road, it's going to require honest effort, hard, hard work.
It's not easy. If it was easy, everybody would be balanced between their heart and mind.

(11:22):
So the angel number, I think this is more of like an umbrella suggestion. That's always good to keep in mind when you're dealing with negative emotions inside.
Is that to not keep ourselves cooped up, right?
Even if we, if you find yourself to be like me, an actual real true meaning of the word introvert, you have a limited social battery, I get it. I really do.

(11:49):
But the implication, I think, is that there's a lot of potential for good windfalls.
If we step out of our headspaces, get out of our comfort zones just for a little bit and surround ourselves with the people we care about, people we trust that we can talk to about these things.
And who knows what you might find while you're out there.

(12:11):
Like the key words here are, you know, romance and romantic potentials. So I'm not saying you're going to meet the love of your life.
Just all I can say that I say a lot is that life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
So true intention, uncertainty. This is just an underscore to the reading at large.

(12:34):
We see it especially in the first two positions that uncertainty and the negative emotions that come with it.
So not much more to add on that.
And our standard classic of Carta Manzi, the three of hearts, it's a sign of great potential and promise for growth.
Now, typically the suit of hearts is one of love, passion, emotion and connection, right?

(13:00):
And often the three in the suit means the introduction of a new heart into a pair, right?
The one on the bottom here, you see how that one's like shaped or like inverted while the others are not.
So that's like the new addition. This could be a lot. This could be anything.
Does not necessarily mean romance. It could be if you're already in a committed relationship, a new baby, maybe it's a new job.

(13:25):
Maybe it's a new pet. I don't fucking know. It's just it's the addition of something positive into your heart.
So I think that this, the three of hearts, the angel number, life begins at the end of your comfort zone.
So any of these new things, they're going, that's where you're going to find them.

(13:47):
And that's the end. That's it for this first reading of the year. I hope you enjoyed it.
Wherever it is that you're listening, watching, if you could hit hit me with that old with the old rating, thumbs up, fucking subscribe, like, follow, share, comment, all the rest of that shit.
It would really help. If you want to see how I put all of this together, how all of the cards come together, it's patreon.com slash LVXMediaNet.

(14:18):
You can see, you see me pull the decks out of the packs. You see me shuffle them. You see everything I've taken.
I've added another wrinkle to this where I have these like conversations, conversations starter card games.
I'm sure you've seen them like on social media ads, but it's like different levels of questions like icebreakers.

(14:43):
Like what's your favorite movie and why and or what's one of your most fond memories of growing up and that kind of shit.
So I've taken to like talking through those as I put this whole thing together. So it's a lot of fun. I have fun doing it.
So if you want to check that out, that's where you can do it.
Personal readings, not necessarily to like this broad really depends on what it is you're looking for LVXMedia.net.

(15:18):
You go to that's the website for everything, but go to the spooky spooky sessions page.
And there's a little, I don't know, it's not an application, but it's a form fill out like your name, your what it is you're asking about.
Look through the artwork of all the different decks that I have for tarot and that's pretty much it.

(15:41):
They're free. I don't I'm not going to charge you money for something that I don't know.
I'm not going to charge you money for it.
If you do if you want to donate some money for it, it'll like it'll move you up the queue. You know what I mean?
But or it'll get it'll get it to you faster. But like because they're free, it's one of those like I'll get to it when they get to it.

(16:04):
And last thing mentors. I'm fine. I found one.
So I've been like this this her name's Samira psychic Samira.com.
I had a reading done. She did a reading for me. It was I was I kid you not. I was intentionally vague.

(16:27):
I was vague on purpose because like I'm going to like I'm going to put you to the test kind of thing.
Homegirl fucking passed with flying colors. She nailed it out of hit it that shit out of the park.
I don't know what other analogy you want me to use.
But whatever it is that she's doing, she knows what she's doing.
So if you want, I believe it's a 20% discount.

(16:49):
If you when you go like schedule set up your reading or whatever.
L E O 7 8 8 4 3.
So that'll get you 20% off your reading.
It helps me gets you a discount gets her some gets her some work.
So it's yeah. I can't.

(17:13):
It's difficult to say how like eerily accurate it was because it's going to sound like I'm shilling which I yes, I guess I am.
But man, she knows what she's doing.
Psychic Samira.com. Use the checkout code L E O 7 8 8 4 3.

(17:34):
So if a discount helped me out in the process as well and like she doesn't just do carts.
Homegirl will hook you up.
So don't if you're really looking for that to start the year off.
I think that's a good place to do it.
Sure. Sure hook you up, man.
So that's going to do it.
I will be back.

(17:56):
What?
So this is coming out on the New Year's on New Year's Day readings from the second to the 11th.
So my next time the next time I'll be sitting down be on the 12th.
So it's going to be a little bit, but I will be back.
You know the spooky date.
Same spooky time.
Same oaky place.

(18:18):
I've got that backwards.
But thank you.
Thank you for being here and I'll see you next time.
Peace.
