Downright dynamic – that describes Jack Matney’s journey both as a Christian and now as an Unbound leader.
Jack’s candid, honest testimony tells how he met his wife, his church journey, and how his parish priest pressed him to receive Unbound prayer. “We did the Unbound thing,” says Jack. “We were at Worldgate in Herndon sitting on chairs in the middle of a giant hallway.” This proved life-changing for Jack as he
prayed through unresolved trauma from his childhood and experienced a profound vision. “There was Jesus!” he states.
An attorney, business leader and father, Jack now has added Unbound ministry to his repertoire. He took the Unbound Basic Training Ecourse at his priest’s suggestion and soon thereafter was asked to start an Unbound ministry team at his parish. He speaks of his reticence. “Can I do it? Will I mess it up?” and other questions of inadequacy flooded Jack. But he felt the Lord was telling him that he just needed to show up.
