Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oh wait, Operation Domination is underway. The ultimate game plan
to dominate.

Speaker 2 (00:09):
With your host, you gotta be confident about your achilles.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Yeah, I mean I got it.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Be great, I'm dominated.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
Well right, all right, all right, we're back in the
building here at Operation Domination. Thanks for tuning in and
downloading on your favorite podcast app or checking out our
video content on the Fantasy Football Advice Network channel at
FF Advice Net. As always, I'm your host, Dan Mader,
joined here with Adam Lroue and Chase Thor in the
Three Amigos in the Building and Jents. We're already heading

(00:53):
into week three. The season already feels like it's flying
by when I say that. But the most important thing
is that your truly Dan Mater's two and oh now
in the Operation Domination showdowns, Sorry, we had to lead
off the show with that, Adam.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I had to do it. Now. It was ugly, I
will give you it was ugly.

Speaker 2 (01:09):
But if you guys don't remember from last week, we
had a showdown between who would perform better in week two,
Amika Abuka or Trayvon Henderson. Abuka not a great stat line,
but gets the touchdown to kind of seal the deal
in that one.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
How'd you feel, Adam?

Speaker 4 (01:25):
I feel like I was right on a Buka. I
was very wrong in Henderson. So I'm just gonna, you know,
we live with those.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Yeah, I'm not really trying to do a full victory
lap here with that one with a Buka not really.

Speaker 1 (01:37):
Performing up to the ranking. But a win is a
win is a win.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Speaking of winning, you guys have to start sick questions
and we want to get someone. We want to break
these down, and these are some of the hot Star
sick questions of the week that people all around are asking.
And the first one is really interesting to me because
this is not a conversation I thought we were going
to be having going in the week.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Three, but this is a big one. So Deebo Samuel
versus Terry McLaurin. This person wants to know, well which
one to start first? I want to ask why do
you have both on the same team? That's the first
thing I want to ask. But you do, and here
we are.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
So I'm gonna kick this to Adam first and then
chase Adam, what's your answer to this question?

Speaker 4 (02:21):
It's debo for now. At the very least, I do
believe in Terry towards the end of the season, I mean,
had his contract dispute. He came in late. Like, I
think that he's someone who I think he'll be scoring
points for you sooner than later. I just short term,
especially with Eckler going out, I think he has been
involved with the run game a little bit. He has

(02:42):
been definitely involved with you know, their short passing game,
kind of their ancillary run game so to speak, you know,
the underneath stuff that kind of mimics the run game.
With that, I just think he's going to be a
more consistent part of this offense. And until they get
going throwing down the field, which I certainly don't think
is gonna happen with Marcus Mariota quarterback, you know, if

(03:03):
that ends up being the case, until it gets going,
until I see it with Terry, I'm gonna roll with Debo.
But I do believe in Terry. He's not someone on
panic selling. He's not something I'm panicking about. I just,
you know, in the short term, I think it's Debo,
you know, going that way.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
To back up your point there about the fact that
he's the extension essentially of the running game, and we
know Cliff Kingsbury loves to do this, especially in his
ability to do so. But three point eight yards average
depth of target for Deebo, Samuel, I.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Mean, that's how close it is.

Speaker 2 (03:35):
So everything that Debo's doing right now is completely yards
after the catch, which we know he can do when
he is healthy, and we just don't know how long
he'll be healthy for because he just hasn't been able
to do that all season long, at any point in
time really in his career since twenty twenty one essentially.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
But Chase, do you see it a different way? Well,
kind of what you.

Speaker 3 (03:57):
Guys just brought up is part of why I I'm
leaning actually scary Terry this week a little bit.

Speaker 5 (04:03):
I do agree that with Eckler.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
Going out, I think that that means that they have
to use Deebo in a little bit different role. I
think that Deebo kind of will take over what Eckler
was going to fill in for them. Eckler wasn't going
to be the a three down back the rest of
the season anyway. He didn't want that, he said all along.
He wanted to be part of a committee. He felt
he was more effective that way. He was not going
to be their three down back. Eventually it was going

(04:27):
to be Bill or Chris Rodriguez or Jeremy McNichols or
somebody else was going to get into that mix eventually anyway.
But I think with him being out now and with Diebo,
like you said, them using him so short that I think,
and knowing that in the past he's been able to
take some rush reps, I think there's there's definitely a
spot for him to kind of move into where Eckler's
role was as Bill Krossky Merritt or whoever else Rodriguez

(04:52):
begins to, you know, think maybe some of the early downward.
But Las Vegas has been a lot tougher on teams
over the middle and short that's where they played. They've
actually played really tough defense. They don't give up, but
they haven't given up a ton of points to like say,
tight ends who operate in that part of the field.
But where they have given up points where they have
been vulnerable is deeper, which is the way that they

(05:13):
like to use.

Speaker 5 (05:13):
Terry McLaurin.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
I'm curious to see if Daniels can at all go
If he can't if it's Mariota, yeah, but I'm willing
to lean with Terry this week, just because he's not
going to struggle all the time. Like you said, I'm
worried a little bit about the Bulls staying healthy all season.
Now this week, I'm not necessarily worried about it. It's
kind of a horse a piece, But I'm not shying

(05:37):
away from McLaurin this week because I think that it's
the kind of defense that McLaurin can can thrive against.

Speaker 2 (05:44):
I mean, that's a fair point against the defense right
now with the Raiders that has been where they've been
susceptible the most, at least through the first two weeks.

Speaker 1 (05:49):
Anyway, I just.

Speaker 2 (05:50):
Think it's a little bit tough because right now Deebo
is wide receiver eight. Again, I know it's two weeks
and mclaurin's in the wide receiver sixty four. Now, part
of this is that McLaurin could be still routing in
the shape quite possibly, but even the usage has been
a big discrepancy here. I mean, you got Deebo with
a twenty five percent target Sharon mclaurin's twenty one. He's
getting twenty two percent targets per hour run the mclaurin's

(06:12):
seventeen like McLaurin with those usage numbers. He's barely even
a wide receiver three with that kind of a usage,
So that's kind of the scary part. And to Adam's point,
if it is Marcus Mariota, I don't think that helps
Terry mclaurin's case. If anything, Mariota, who's been known to
check the ball down, constantly throw the ball as close
to the line scrimams as he can and kiss Kingsbury's

(06:33):
gonna make sure he puts in a situation and not
have to press the issue. I do think that it's
going to be more Deebo Samuel in this type of
a matchup. Debo's my wide receiver twenty three versus McLaurin
being my wide receiver twenty nine. So I'm actually locking
Debo in as a top twenty four play this week.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
Do we have a showdown on this or no?

Speaker 2 (06:51):
No, I mean I don't feel stucky, you don't feel
about it, you don't feel confident enough about it. Ultimately
two to one the start Debo here for that question.
We'll see how it goes, all right, So let's I
think I'm going to force one on this one, though,
Chase just so your head's up there, and I think
I'm going to force it with Adam. But James Connor
versus Ramandre Stevenson, this is intriguing. Everyone's panicking on James

(07:13):
Connor right now. Romondre Stevenson's coming off of a Game
of lifetime because while you got to play the Miami Dolphins,
which is a glorified CFL team, To be honest, right now, Adam,
which direction would you go in if you had to
choose between Connor and Ramandre? And this is one that
I see a lot of people have a question on
are going to have this type of dilemma based on
where they were drafted.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Yeah, I'm still going Connor. Now. Admittedly this is one
that's a little tough where I have Connor lower than
ECR and I have Vermandre higher than ECR. But with
how big that gap is in ECR, I still have
James Connor on top. So with that, I just think
he's someone who is more consistently, you know, going to

(07:57):
be involved. He's someone who has had this backfield for
a long amount of time. They've been looking to get
rid of Vermandre for what feels like the last two seasons.
I like Ramandre a lot, and obviously I think he
earned himself, you know, certainly the right to keep going
as the starting back last week. But the Buffalo Bills

(08:17):
are a whole different animal. And while the over under
says one thing about this game, uh, this is a
game where I'm sorry for New England. H I don't know,
the matchup for him isn't great. This is also a
game where the over under isn't very high for the Patriots.
So yeah, Pittsburgh's run defense hasn't been great, but they're

(08:40):
not that bad.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
No, I think the defense is definitely going to be
playing better than what we've seen the last two weeks.

Speaker 1 (08:48):
And I'll add this to your point real quick.

Speaker 2 (08:50):
Before I kicked this over the chase, the two running
backs that have smoked them were Kenneth Walker and.

Speaker 1 (08:58):
Bris Hall.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
So two flashy, speedier running backs would get on the
outside and break back off bigger runs. When they bounced things,
they bottled up Zach sharpinay, I mean fifteen carries for
ten yards.

Speaker 1 (09:08):
He couldn't get anything going.

Speaker 2 (09:10):
So when you have a guy who's more of a
hammer that you're going to run more through the middle,
which is what the Patriots are using Stevenson as it
doesn't match up quite as well for him, even though
the raw numbers look good for running backs.

Speaker 1 (09:22):
But I do want to get Chase's take on this.
Which way you lean in, Chase, between James Connor or
Manja Stevenson.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
Two weeks ago, I would have said Connor without even hesitating.
I had to laught you off the screen for suggesting this.
But we're talking about Granted, you brought up the two
running backs that have you smoked Pittsburgh, but still remains
at Pittsburgh's given up the fourth most points against those
running backs in the league for the first two weeks.

(09:48):
Stevenson is the lead running back in New England right now.
I know we all want the shiny new toy in
Trevion Henderson, but it's Stevenson's job, and it's Stevenson's job
honestly by a quite a quite a margin. He's He's
out snapping Trayveon almost two to one on the season.
I mean, it has been the Stevenson show now when
he's in there, Trayvon Henderson is getting targeted at a

(10:11):
higher clip, but overall their target shares are dead, even
in terms of how much they're seeing of the passing game.
It's just that when Travion is in there, he's getting
targeted more often when he's actually in, but he's not
in nearly as much as Stevenson is. This is Stevenson's job.
He's the lead back, and he is a guy that
we've seen in the past who can be He can

(10:33):
operate as that complete back. He doesn't have to be
only the hammer, he doesn't have to be only the
pass game back. He can he can play both of
those roles. Meanwhile, on the other side, I'm not panicking
about James Connor.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
I love James Connor.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
I'm bigger on him, I think than a lot of
people are because I'm just not all that worried about
is his injury history, because the usage is there for him,
or has been there for him in the desert there
in Arizona. But the you know, the fact is Benson
has been closing that gap a little bit in terms
of in terms of you know, playing time shared it
in terms of their usage. He actually out targeted him

(11:09):
last week. And a big part of James Connor's appeal
in fantasy is the fact that he plays in that
passing game. If he's losing some of that to Trey Benson,
especially against the defense like the forty nine ers that
I think, can you know, can be a tough road
a ho here. I just I think it's it's really
close for me. I have them literally back to back
in the rankings both as running back twos. But I

(11:31):
do have rom Andre Stevens in one spot ahead of
James Connor this week.

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Well that makes it I want to force an up
showdown here, but that makes it kind of tough if
you have him back to back.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
I have him back to back. But like I said,
I'm if you are.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
If you want to force it, force it, because I'll.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
When you have them at.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
Twenty one and twenty two.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
I believe I have them at like I said, they're
back to back at as running back two is for
me this week, I have Romandri Stevenson at twenty one.
I have James Connor at twenty two. I'm actually very
high on romad Andre compared to ECR nine spots.

Speaker 4 (12:03):
We pretty much see James Connor the same way then,
so I think it probably isn't a one versus the
other where if you want to force one, Dan, what
you could do I have Vermandre at twenty nine, and
that can be the one where we find a guess.

Speaker 3 (12:17):
So does he do running back two or better? Or
is he a flex player worse?

Speaker 2 (12:22):
I like it, so that's gonna be the showdown for
the week ramondre Stevens and does he finish as an
RB to a top twenty four back or does he not.
That's where we're at in week three, already having showdowns
about vermondra Stevenson, who we thought we wouldn't be talking
about much at all this season. So I'm just gonna

(12:44):
throw my two cents in here for the judgment debate,
I guess part of it. Me and Adam are seeing
a lot of things the same way, so I'm with
him on Connor, and funny enough, I have Connor at
twenty two as well, and I have Vermondre Stevenson at
twenty nine as well. So it's a little it's a
little weird right now going on with me, with me
and Adam on the same page exactly. But I wanted

(13:04):
to say this because a lot of people are just
panicking about James Connor in general.

Speaker 1 (13:09):
I'm not worried about it yet.

Speaker 2 (13:12):
So Trey Benz has looked really good and it's great
for my dynasty leagues, by the way, so I am
happy about that.

Speaker 1 (13:17):
But he's still getting the bulk of the work.

Speaker 2 (13:20):
He's still leading fifty nine percent forty percent in snaps.
He routinely still tries to find a way, whether it's
scoring a late touchdown or whatever the case may be,
of being an RB two when he's healthy. It doesn't
always look pretty, but he seems to find a way
to always be able to do it. Both Zach Sharbonay
and Alva Kamara had success as fantasy players against the

(13:42):
forty nine ers the past two weeks, and I bring
that up because Sharbonna in particular right mostly running up
the middle off of zone inside zone plays, was able
to get a touchdown, was able to get forty plus yards.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
That's what James Connor is going to be doing in
this matchup.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
I think there's a solid chance here that Connor does
get an opportunity to score, and I think this was
going to keep him within that top twenty four conversation. Now,
as far as long term goes, he split with Amari
Demarcato in passing situations last last year, so it's not
foreign that Trey Benson coming in here is the passing

(14:18):
down specialist, and James Connor still being able to eat.
What's a little bit weird is that Trey Benzon is
getting that passing role. Plus that's what we weren't used
to with a Mario Democatto a season ago, And if
Benzon keeps going the way he's going, it may wind
up being even more work. So long term, there might
be some concern here for Connor. I'm not panicking yet.

(14:39):
I'm not trying to sell him yet because you're not
going to be selling him for pennies on the dollar
at this point because a lot of people are panicked
about him.

Speaker 1 (14:45):
But maybe if he has a pop performance.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
I don't know if you'd have a pop one against
San Francisco, but he was a pop performance over the
next let's say three weeks, and you want to bail
out while you can during a playoff race, maybe you
look to do so then and try to find a
way or at least try to find a way to
get Trey Benson. Because the other thing that taking consideration,
I know we're still a little bit of ways off,
but the Cardinals have one of the top schedules are
running back and have down the stretch going into the playoffs.

(15:09):
So I do think you want to have shares of
that backfield, So either find a way to get both
or sell of Connor before Benson gets too heavily involved
and increases just based on the way they've gone those
first couple of weeks.

Speaker 1 (15:20):
All right, so let's get into another good question.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
This one's funny because I think there's a lot of
there's a lot of NFL narrative around these two players,
but of course we're focusing in on fantasy football purposes.
But it makes the conversation funn either way. So Bo
Nicks or Caleb Williams, somebody is asking which one am
I going to start? So Chase, I'm gonna go to
you first. How are you feeling about this scenario?

Speaker 3 (15:45):
Well, honestly, for me this week, it's kind of as
simple as this, and unfortunately it boils down to the
idea that Dallas gives up points, the Chargers don't, Chicago
gives up points, Denver doesn't. That Dallas Chicago game has
all the makings of a shootout. I'm actually going to
talk about that a little bit later. When you when

(16:07):
you look at at that Chicago has been absolutely terrible
against the past.

Speaker 5 (16:11):
I like what Dak can do.

Speaker 3 (16:12):
Dak had a good week last week in terms of,
you know, for fantasy purposes, he was lighted up there
when we look at things that that Charger Denver game.
You know, Chargers got a good defense too. It's not
just Denver anymore in terms of defenses in the West.
Their Chargers have a decent defense as well. Nicks has
not looked quite like himself, like like what we thought

(16:35):
was himself, or at least what we saw of him
as himself last year.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
So for me, I'm sorry, he looks like himself to
me that again.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
Yeah, it looks like what we kind of figured coming
into last season. But as he progressed through last season,
it was fantasy wise, he actually was kind.

Speaker 5 (16:51):
Of a fun little revelation.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
But being that, it's it's that Dallas Chicago game for
me that I want to be targeting right now. It's
Caleb Williams for me. Between the two of them this week,
Caleb has not played all that poorly, to be honest
with you, he really he just hasn't. I think there's
been a little bit more negative narrative around him than
the reality of the situation here, and I like what
he can do against that Dallas defense, which has really

(17:14):
struggled without my guy Parsons in Green Bays.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
True, Adam, you've seen this the same way.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
Yeah, pretty much. A The reality of the situation is
a lot of last year, his fantasy viability came on
him being a really strong runner, and that has not
been the case for Bonex this year. In fact, Caleb Williams,
who was underwhelming as a runner last year after we
kind of all anticipated he'd be a solid runner coming in,
has been that, if not more so so far this season.

(17:45):
So that to me, I'm not necessarily killing off the
idea that, especially if they're reel in next a little bit,
that he can have some viability eventually. But I think
that we're starting to see, like why there is some
track disparity between the two, that between Caleb's adop being
higher and between Caleb running more that that in general

(18:08):
is gonna lead the more fantasy points.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah, just the bulst of that point.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
Caleb Williams right now has eighty five rushing yards and
a touchdown through two games. He is making himself a
dual threat quarterback, which is why through two weeks, small
sample size, but he is the QB nine and even
last week, like you look at it like, well, he
finishes QB twenty a week ago. True, but he had
almost eighteen points. Typically speaking, when you have eighteen points

(18:32):
as a quarterback, you are borline QB one, high end
QB two. You're not usually down in the twenties. But
what it was just we saw all kinds of passing takeoff,
Like twenty plus points was for fourteen quarterbacks. Jake Browning,
who's QB fourteen had twenty plus fantasy points? Is that
typical that you have fourteen quarterbacks put up twenty plus

(18:53):
fantasy points in a single week. So it's a little
bit of an aberration why he finished down twentieth. He
still had a solid fantasy performers at the end of
the day. Make of what you will what we saw
there in the fourth quarter for the second week in
a row, as far as a meltdown is concerned, But
for fantasy, we don't necessarily care about that if he's
already getting out of the points to begin with. Not
to step on your toes chase, But I didn't want

(19:14):
to mention now Chicago their team implied total is third
highest on the week, like third highest. That's how bad
everyone is as much as they're this narrative out in
the NFL.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
That's how bad Vegas sees.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Dallas's defense are like, yeah, we don't care, You're gonna
put up points.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
It does not matter at all.

Speaker 3 (19:36):
So between it, if I'm looking and again, if I'm
looking at these two teams too, if I'm looking at
at Denver and I'm looking at Chicago, the weapons that
each of these guys is throwing to top to bottom,
Oh yeah, other have Chicago's right now?

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Yeah, well not even just even doesn't matter. I'm looking
as more like you're gonna get the shootout because with
with Picking and Ceedee Lamb and Dak. Dak's playing great
football right now too, so is Javonte Will for that matter.
But the Bear secondary, Jalen Johnson's out, and definitely we
still don't know if Kyler Gordon's gonna be able to
come back and play. They've been playing two men down
pretty much this whole season thus far, and we've seen

(20:11):
teams be able to take advantage of that, like a
Lla detory a week ago. So when you have weapons
like that, you're gonna get shootout performances. Shootout performances spell
fantasy turnout. I do want to make one quick point
about bo Nicks, who's been flat out, whether it's fantasy,
whether it's NFL. Wise, has been just a middling, middling quarterback.
So he ranks somewhere between quarterbacks sixteen and quarterback eighteen

(20:34):
an EPA a completion percentage over expected, he's dead last,
and air yards per tenth dead last, and he's seventh
worst than yards like nothing. And this is when I
thought I was gonna see you coming out of college
when he played in Oregon. Frankly, like, nothing's going twenty
yards past lash scribers, nothing like barely anything whatsoever. So

(20:56):
that is something that would worry me. I know Bo
Nick's lovers are gonna be like, well, he finished just
a top twelve quarterback last week. Yeah, he got the touchdowns.
If you're depending on three touchdowns a game in order
to build up your variants and guess what, you're gonna
be real, real, sorry in most weeks. And that's usually
a recipe for a quarterback who's going to be more
somewhere between eighteen and twenty four than he is between

(21:18):
twelve and sixteen, which is what.

Speaker 1 (21:20):
You're gonna kind of hope for this point.

Speaker 2 (21:21):
And he probably drafted him as QB eight because ADP
had him ridiculously high for drafts.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Listen, not everybody can be Daniel Jones throwing the ball
all over the place downfield.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Indiana Jones. Any dimes the Indiana Jones. I actually like
Indiana Jones a lot better.

Speaker 4 (21:37):
Yeah, maybe the rebrands was really turned him around.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Yeah, right, Absolutely, it's all about the merch talk about
players trying to get things turned around. I love this
question because we try to avoid it so bad during
the offseason. Time to trust Kyle Pitts, yes or no, Adam,
I think he's.

Speaker 4 (21:59):
A matchup to pen the fridge fringe, a tight end
one at this point. So last week was one where
I was targeting him. It didn't necessarily work out, but
that we got the workload of a tight end that
you would want to have played it, just like fantasy
scoring didn't work out, but you know, got targeted, got
the usage that you want to see. And that's why
we're having this conversation right because back to back weeks

(22:20):
fantasy numbers haven't been great. I think he's right at
tight end twelve.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Maybe if I'm not mistaken, he's tied for tighten eleven.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
So yeah, like right there, he's gotten the usage that
you want to see, not necessarily the yards, not the touchdown,
but you know whatever. Last week was one where I
think you looked at what Atlanta was going against. You
really didn't want the outside guys against a Brian Flores defense.
He wanted, you know, someone like Kyle Pitts. So I

(22:48):
think that was a matchup where it made sense for
him to get the ball. That's not gonna be every week.
There's gonna be weeks that are duds. I'm not starting
him every week. I'm not trusting him every week, but
he is someone that has to be in your consideration.
I don't think you're ignoring Kyle Pitts either. I think
he is a usable part of this offense that has
a role, will have a roll off season. But he's
not going to be a top twelve tight end every week.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Well no, so first of all, to that point, real quick,
anybody who's between tight end eight and tight end twelve
is not gonna be top tleve tight end every week.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
Right, I'll give him the escape patch on that.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
I do want to bolster your usage point real quick though,
because you seeing eighty seven percent of the routes targets
per out run twenty two percent target share.

Speaker 1 (23:30):
Like, just take that usage put in a bubble.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
That's a tight end. Six Well, that's an elite tight end.
That usage is an elite tight end. That's what you
look for. And what I am seeing out of Kyle
Pitts is that he actually looks healthy.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
For the first time in three years.

Speaker 2 (23:45):
But he looked athletic. He was getting separation. He was
getting off the line of scribage. We haven't seen that
in two seasons.

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Ay could turn. He's been like a straight line only
guy for two seasons to your point, and he couldn't
move and run by breaking routes.

Speaker 1 (23:59):
So I want to say maybe.

Speaker 2 (24:00):
I'm gonna say maybe because I still can't quite It's
still Kyle Pitts and we've still been this and I
can't quite get there. I just I can't. But that
screams at least pay attention, at least roster them. People
are looking for titans. Let the right now versus George Kittle,
you know, got hurt and everything else. Roster I don't know, Chase,
we are you falling this?

Speaker 3 (24:21):
But how is that any different than anything that we've
seen in the past fourteen years of having to deal
with Kyle Pitts as the guy who was gonna break
the NFL?

Speaker 5 (24:30):
How is any of that different.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
He's us roster both fringe, starter, a guy that you
could play based on matchups and you have to pay attention.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
Well, flip the eye.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
You have to pay attention.

Speaker 3 (24:38):
It's an offense that can throw the ball and he's
ostensibly a decent receiver in a grand scheme of humanity.
But like nothing has changed with him in my opinion.
I know that the usage there has been there over
two weeks, and that's great. You know what happened in
twenty twenty four Week one, Kyle Pitts was a tight
end one. He was amazing, look great Week two. Last season,

(25:01):
tight End twenty three. Rinse and repeat, rinse and repeat,
rinse and repeat. And you never know when the flip
he's going to not be tight End twenty three and
when he's not going to be tight End eight or
break the entire internet. This week this year, Week one,
tight End twelve, he was a starter, excellent last week
tight end twenty half PPR.

Speaker 5 (25:19):
I mean just it's the same thing with him. It's
the same thing with him.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
The difference is last season, who was drafted a lot
closer to tight end one and this season he was
drafted a lot.

Speaker 5 (25:28):
Which is true.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
But like, if I want to be frustrated with the
tight end position, there's like twenty seven other dudes I
can be frustrated with as well, and I don't have
to go back to the same damned well of frustration
that we've dealt with with Kyle Pitts ever since that
kid left junior high ball. I gets the same thing
as always. They're not looking at him at the red zone.

(25:50):
They're not looking at him in the red zone because
they never they almost never do. They're not giving him
necessarily as the deep looks that we would like to
see from from the guy that was supposed to be
you know, the second coming. It's just it's the same
thing with Pitts. What why do I want to deal
with that? That's why they have tight ends.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Higher well, And to your point, that's why I say
maybe as I can't totally sell in here, but if
you're in that hole where you're looking to stream tight ends. Anyway,
you're already gonna go through hell, you're already gonna go
to the frustration regardless. So why not do it with
an offense that you know is pass happy and he's
actually his first time since rookie year getting the elite
usage to go along with it. All right, I'm gonna

(26:25):
wrap up this last question real quick. I want to
get to our ECR rankings Packers defense versus the Falcons defense.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Packers are my number one defense. I'll do this.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
It doesn't sound like so homersm from coming from Chase
because it's is legit.

Speaker 1 (26:38):
It's legit.

Speaker 2 (26:39):
So right now, number one in yards per play allowed,
they are first and epa per play allowed. They are
top in quarterback pressures, and they are second in sacks,
and they're playing the Cleveland Browns this week. That's so
the question was the Packers or the Falcons defense. The
Falcons Devens, by the way, in their own right, is

(26:59):
not a bad streaming play. But the Packers defense, if
that's available, that could be a number one defense for
the rest of the season. All right, So I want
to fast forward into some of our discrepancies amongst our rankings.
So I actually want to kick the chase first. You
got Keenan Allen as your number one. What's going on here.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
I've got Keenan Allen up sixteen spots from ECR, and
I've got Lad mcconkee down ten spots. And I know
that this has been a point of contention, It's going
to continue to be a point of contention on this
show between Lad and Keenan Allen and Quentin Johnston. But
I think we saw it again last week that Quentin
Johnson is not going to go away even if Trey
Harris catches a couple of passes.

Speaker 5 (27:37):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (27:37):
There's just there's a lot going on right now in
this pass offense, which is awesome, which is great. It's
fun to watch if you're if you're a Charger fan
or if you own Justin Herbert.

Speaker 5 (27:46):
That's it's what we've wanted to see.

Speaker 3 (27:48):
We've spent a lot of time writing on you know,
Greg Roman about you know, being a run first guy
and tanking people's past prospects.

Speaker 4 (27:58):
He has.

Speaker 3 (27:59):
He's had moments in the past where he has tailored
and shuffled things around to fit more of the personnel
strengths that they have. He's done that before we've seen
Lamar Jackson be a you know, be a excellent fantasy
quarterback on him running wise, well, guess who was the
leading rusher for the for the losch Angeleos Chargers last game. Oh,

(28:22):
it was their quarterback. And guess who threw for two
hundred and forty some yards and a couple of scores? Oh,
Justin Herbert.

Speaker 5 (28:27):
Jeez.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
That sounds a heck of a lot like the way
that they used Lamara Jackson under another harball head coach
when Greg Roman was leading things for the offense over
in Baltimore on the opposite coast. So, you know, I
really like what this offense is doing. I think that
they're they're hitting it. They seem like they're hitting on
all silliners to me. I know that the run game
hasn't gotten as much as some people thought, but like

(28:50):
it's Greg Roman's team, do we really think they're not
going to get that going. They've got a Mari and
Hampton and Naji Harris, and I think that they're going
to be just fine that way. But you know, when
I take a look at it again, I can't bring
myself to rank Ladd McConkie as a locked in number
one type wide receiver when the numbers have just been

(29:11):
too spread out, and Keenan Allen has performed so well
in his time there, so I have them. I actually
have them a lot closer in ranking than most of
the rest of the world does, because I just don't
see the difference in between the two of them as
being quite so great in the same direction everybody else else.

(29:31):
I have Keenan Allen at eighteen this week. I have
lad McConkie twenty four. I have them both as wide
receiver two plays this week, but there's just so much
going on in that offense that I can't lock any
of them into a top spot, especially a lad mccaky.
I just I don't see it there right now. I
love what he does on the field, the usage right
now to me doesn't warrant it well.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
So I'm gonna piggyback off of this because Keenan Allen
is actually one of the guys I had in my
list here for the discrepancies this week with you in
a way, because right now Eastern's got him down in
thirty seven. I have Keenan Allen at wide receiver twenty four.
Like I agree, he needs to be a wide receiver two.
Locked in, I still a Lab McConkie at wide receiver fifteen.
Side note, No, that's not far off me. Side note

(30:15):
Lab McConkie did not practice today with an arm issue.
And tune in tomorrow when I have doctor Brian Scott
on for the injury in quiries, because we're going to
talk about that and what that could potentially mean going
into this week two and how that might affect rankings
moving forward. But Allen right now is the wide receiver
eleven right through two weeks. Seventeen targets in two games.
He clearly has his old report with Justin Herbert. There's

(30:37):
there's no doubt about that. But he's still third on
the team in routes now having while threw on the
team in routes, he's twenty percent targets for how run
thirty percent target share.

Speaker 1 (30:47):
Those two numbers are elite.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
That's why he's a wide receiver one, because he's super
efficient when he is on the field and he's getting
thrown the football.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
I do think there's an element here of Keenan.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
Allen might be a cell high candidate as we as
we talk right now, because I do think one thing
lat mccacky is running off of his expected routes, maybe
not getting targeted as much as we were hoping for
the beginning the season, but I do think that will come.
He's too good of a player and he's constantly open.
He's still one of the top receivers in separation. And
then Quentin Johnson's the other one running all the other

(31:16):
routes too. Now, Quentin John's gonna make me eat it
for an extra week because I was down on him
and he, you know, scores a six hour touchdown. But
that usage, that kind of production is not stable week
over week.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Guys.

Speaker 2 (31:29):
At some point you're gonna see a shift where it's
not Quentin Johnson getting the second amount of production, it's
Ladi McConkey. That's kind of what I'm waiting for here.
Do you have a tough match up against the Denver Broncos.
Patrick tamp may Bee banged up, so maybe it won't
be as tough as it typically would be. We'll have
to see. Right now, I'm gonna start Lat McConkie, I'm
gonna start Keenan out as top twenty four wide receivers though,

(31:49):
so that point, I'm with you. Maybe Keenan owns a
cell a high candidate. I don't know, Adam, who's one
of your guys.

Speaker 4 (31:56):
Yeah, I want to start first with uh, I'm gonna
start first with Jared Goff, who on the ECRs at
QB fifteen, So someone who not only more of a
streamer candidate than a starter, but not necessarily your first
pick as a streamer candidate either. And for me, I
think he's someone that I'm definitely looking to start. I'm
definitely having my QB my top twelve. I have him

(32:19):
at QB eleven. Actually, so reasoning there, I mean it
won like, let's get the obvious one out of the way,
the elephant in the room. This is the highest over
under the week, like normally having a quarterback in that situation.
Good thing. Two. And I think this is the biggest
point of it is the offensive line looked a lot

(32:40):
better last week for the Detroit Lions. This has definitely
been I think the biggest contention. I think a lot
of the narrative has been about Ben Johnson leaving, but
I think the biggest concern is losing pieces, particularly in
the interior of the offensive line for them, which is
you know, like I said, has it looked great yet,
but it's looked a lot better last week. Chicago is

(33:01):
a lot different from Baltimore, but realistically a lot of
Baltimore's pressure comes from the outside. They have won a
defensive tackle, Namdi whose last name I'm not going to
attempt to pronounce, who is done very very well in
the interior, and that is going to be the scariest
matchup for Detroit. But otherwise it's mostly going to be
tackles versus edge, and the Detroit tackles are still pretty good.

(33:24):
That's not the concern with Detroit offensive linus in the interior,
So I think this is one that they can figure out.
So I'm not worried about Jared Goff facing pressure and
falling apart. I think this is a situation where we
can see that back and forth, see the offense on
both sides go really really well. This is definitely a
situation where I'm targeting Detroit players. I have jamis and

(33:46):
higher than ECR. I have a Monra either at or
higher than ECR, and I you know, as I just mentioned,
have namely Jared Goff higher than DCR. I think he's
someone who if you don't have one of the stud
like top six quarterbacks. I think you're considering Jared Golf.

Speaker 1 (34:01):
I like it.

Speaker 2 (34:01):
I mean, Jared go right now my quarterback thirteen. But
if Jane Daniels doesn't play, he will become my quarterback twelve.
So he's gonna probably be in my top twelve by
the end of the week. Again, tune in for Jane
Daniels news in tomorrow's episode as well. But besides that,
it's here's the one thing I was because when I
was putting my rankings together and I'm looking at Jared
Goff and I'm seeing where he comes out in my model,

(34:23):
the one thing I got nervous about at him. Well,
two things, Really, it's not in Detroit. How much was
this the product of the fact that this game, this
pass game in Chicago was in Detroit? And two, do
we really think Baltimore's defense is bad? And I know
that one wants to give him too much credit because
he just played the Cleveland Browns, who are pathetic on
offense right now, and I get that, And then you
had the other way around against the Buffalo Bills.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
We're ever gonna scored. But that's Josh Allen. He could
do that to anybody.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
So I don't know if the Baltimore Ravens defense is
bad and this is not in Detroit. It almost makes
me want to bet the under in this team going
into it, and I think it might disappoint that was
the only that was nervous about having golf higher in Eco.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
I mean, where's your take on that.

Speaker 4 (35:02):
I don't think that that's like incredibly First of all,
I don't think that Baltimore's defense is bad. I'll get
that out of the way. I just don't think that's
the truth. I think that Detroit's offense, if they can
keep Jared Goff upright, is genuinely good. I think that
they are probably exist somewhere between the Bears game and
the their Week one performance between green Bay and Chicago,

(35:22):
but I think probably closer to the Chicago version, just
in the sense of this is still going to be
lights out offense if Jared Goff is upright. And look,
Baltimore's pass rush is good. Like I said, They've got,
you know, three guys that can really get pressure on
the quarterback. They do not have green Bay's pass rush.
That is a different tier of pass rush that we're

(35:43):
talking about when we talk about Green Bay. So I
don't think that it's going to be that level of bad.
I think that Jared Goff, I mean, to your point
earlier last week was kind of wonk you. With so
many quarterbacks going over twenty. I think Jared Goff goes
over twenty, and I think that's enough to get him
into the top twelve. Now that fifty two line, I'm
with you, that could certainly be something for the unders enticing,

(36:03):
but I think that Jared Goff still startable if that
line's forty seven. So at that point, like I'm still
comfortable with playing him as a top twelve.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
Play that's fair, that's fair.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
I want to give my number one guy, and then
we're gonna get into our DFS cocktail hour. So my
number one discrepancy this week is Marvin Harrison Junior. I
have met wide receiver twenty eight ECRs. Got I met
wide receiver nineteen guys, I'm with you, this is killing me.
This is I took Marvin Harrison when I was in

(36:33):
many drafts right around ADP. I told myself I wasn't
going to do it, and then I'm just like, but
he's so talented and besides mcbriden. Who else are gonna
throw the ball to pets and can't be that much
of a more on the year two Kenny, Well, apparently
he can be because Marvin Harrison is getting used just
like he did last There was no adjustment to feature

(36:55):
what is your most talented offensive weapon on that team,
No adjustment the feature him. What's so freaking ever through
the first two weeks, and because of Petsing's resume, I
can't trust that it's suddenly going to change any point
this season. So now I'm starting to get worried. So
now I look at Marvin Harris like, you're a wide
receiver three like, and he's being ranked, being totally playing

(37:16):
him in the top twenty. His usage is what bothers
me sixteen percent targets per outrun, twenty percent target share.
Just like I kind of said it with somebody early,
I'm drawing a blank on that's not wide it's barely
wide receiver three numbers. You're talking almost wide receiver four
at that point, a bottom end wide receiver three just
with the usage alone, and that's on an offense that's

(37:38):
in the top ten and running plays called right now
called I'm gonna talk about scrambles of the Collamray running
plays called.

Speaker 1 (37:45):
At the moment.

Speaker 2 (37:47):
So the fact that I'm making the adjustment and the
usage is killing me. I know JSN had a big
game against San Francisco. I know Chris o'lobby had a
solid game against him when it comes to targets and
re options and yards. So the number one receivers have
been eating. But the difference between those two and Marvin
Harrison is that those two line.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Up all over the field.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
They get designed for, they get featured like number one
wide receivers are supposed to. Marvin Harrison does not. If
they stick him on the side with the demonar Leonore
and leave him there, he ain't gonna do much in
this game.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
So I got him as a wide receiver three.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
There's always that little bit of touchdown upside that kind
of comes with Marvin Harrison Junior, But I don't think
he's a lock them in your.

Speaker 1 (38:28):
Lineup this week. With that, it's time for the DFS
Cocktail Hour.

Speaker 3 (38:39):
All right, Yeah, Hey, let's make a drink here and
have some fun talking about some DFS plays for the week. Now,
If you guys, if everybody out there missed it, be
sure you look. This week on Friday, there will be
an article. I'll have an article coming out on FSAN
dot com every single week talking about the DFS cocktail.
I'll go a little more in depth into the players
that we're talking about.

Speaker 5 (39:00):
Tonight.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
I will also have the recipe we'll be posted right
there in the article and for last week's art of
for the Week two article, I actually posted a week
one's recipe as well, so you can go back. You
can look and find all of these recipes if you
want to make these drinks as we go on. If
I'm talking too fast for you here on the radio,
on the podcast, if you don't know how to use
the rewind button, so look for that article that comes out,

(39:22):
like I said, Fridays on fsa N dot com.

Speaker 5 (39:24):
But tonight we're going to talk about a.

Speaker 3 (39:28):
Little cocktail that I like to call the coin flip,
and you guys will see why in a minute. Here
we'll be flipping a coin and then making a decision
on what we're going to put in this cocktail based
on the outcome there.

Speaker 5 (39:37):
But first we're going to take a look at some.

Speaker 3 (39:40):
Of the lines here this week, and we mentioned it
earlier Detroit Baltimore is the highest over under the week
at fifty two and a half. There are a couple
of games that are high up there this week, better
so than last week. But the other game that's the
high that's one of the higher point totals is Dallas
in Chicago at fifty and a half for an over
and under.

Speaker 5 (39:58):
When I looked at it there on Sharp Football, and I.

Speaker 3 (40:01):
Mentioned it earlier, I talked about it a little bit
earlier with Dak Brett Prescott with Caleb Williams. The idea
that I like the idea of that game going to
a shootout because of how terrible both defenses have played
so far. So when you make a cocktail, there's what
we call the golden ratio in bartending and mixology. Right,
you want two parts of your base spirit. Then you

(40:22):
wanted souring agent, then you want a sweetening agent. So
for our base spirit this week, we're going to look
at that Dallas and Chicago matchup and we're going to
take Dak Prescott at fifty nine hundred for our quarterback.

Speaker 5 (40:33):
Okay, we're paying down a little bit for quarterback.

Speaker 3 (40:35):
He's only the eleventh highest rank quarterback in terms of
salary on DraftKings there, he's actually twelfth, but there's no
Joe Burrow this week, so he's eleventh among the dudes
who actually have a shot at playing here this week.
But Dak Prescott, Hey, coming off of QB six finish
last week, fifty two points. You know her past attempts
he had last week in that shootout with Russell the

(40:57):
Mussel and the New York Giants there, well, Chicago, I
just talked about it earlier. I'm going to repeat it
here for everybody who maybe wasn't listening to They have
given up the most points to their opposing quarterbacks.

Speaker 5 (41:08):
Dallas has given up the third most points to opposing quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (41:11):
It has all the markings of a shootout, and like
Dak Prescott in this one, so we will take him
for fifty nine. Then we are going to take and
pay up this time for his top receiver in CD Lamb.

Speaker 5 (41:22):
CEE.

Speaker 3 (41:22):
Lamb's the third highest priced player on the entire slate
for DraftKings this week.

Speaker 2 (41:31):
I think I think Chase might there's froze on us
midway through here, and unfortunately I do not have all
the recipe to all the ingredients for his drink that
he was going to make for DFS cocktail hour, so
hopefully we'll be able to get him back. We'll give
him a second there to see if he gets on
that one. Adam, Let's just talk a little DFS in

(41:52):
general real quick until we get Chase back.

Speaker 1 (41:55):
So he was not well.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
Building up Dak, we talked about how that's the highs
over under of the week.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
I decided I was gonna go with the other.

Speaker 2 (42:01):
Quarterback in Caleb Williams, pair him up with who has
been the number one wide receiver for that team, with
Roma Doonday, and then that gives me enough money to
come back with Ceedee Lamb on the other side. Because
what we're looking at here is that you have Rome
Doonsday at fifty three hundred, You've Caleb Williams at like

(42:23):
fifty six hundred.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
So I make that match up.

Speaker 2 (42:27):
Then I go in and I get Bijon Robinson against Carolina,
who is looking like they're gonna be as historically bad
against the run as they were a season ago. He's
only seventy nine hundred dollars. By the way, that's that's
just the cheap thing I filled that out with. So
this is where I kind of wanted to see if
I could get this in the chase, the Tavian Wicks.

(42:48):
So Jayden Ree gets hurt. Right, We're begging for someone
to bust loose in this Packer offense. Maybe it's Matthew Golden,
but I'm telling you what, just eyeball test. The Tavian
Wicks is looks like a better player than he was
a season ago, and looks like a better player than
Matthew Golden is right now, just just based on a

(43:08):
few things that I've seen. Right now, he's thirty seven
hundred dollars. That's a contrarium, cheap play that you can
have against Cleveland with a team that someone someone might
pop that maybe maybe for this week is not to.

Speaker 1 (43:19):
Call Tucker Craft. I don't know what's your take on that.
On that Packers wide receiver room right.

Speaker 4 (43:23):
Now, I do think it's gonna be Golden. I don't
disagree though, Like I I don't think the question with
Wix is his ability to separate his ability to run
routes and get open. It's his ability to catch the ball.
I mean, that's really been what's what's killed him throughout
his young career so far. So I don't disagree with
you know the possibility of him breaking out in this

(43:44):
room with you know, a spot opening up, I guess,
and this that's not a game that I am necessarily
targeting the passing. This is one where I think Josh
Jacobs could could be running the ball fairly early. But
one maybe they're like Baltimore and just decided to screw
it and throw the ball all day. Or two you

(44:05):
know someone's going to score early to get that lead initially,
So at thirty seven hundred dollars, I definitely think it's
worth considering going back to that initial game. A name
that I'm going to shoehorn kind of what I was
going to talk about earlier, is one of my other
players higher than ECR. I think Javante is a steal
relative to his cost. So if you maybe it feels

(44:27):
a little bit weird if you get Dak, but to
your point, if you go with Caleb instead, then you
feel a little bit less relying on the passing for Dallas,
you still keep CD. But with Javonte, I think he's
a really good cost. I think he is a sneaky
RB one type of play this week.

Speaker 1 (44:45):
No, and I like that. I like that a lot.
I mean he's just scoring touchdowns, he's getting all the usage.

Speaker 2 (44:50):
He looks pretty decent behind a really good Cowboys offensive line.

Speaker 1 (44:53):
I am a little bit curious being.

Speaker 2 (44:55):
That they lost Cooper bb for six a weeks their center,
how much that's gonna have an impact because he's a
big reason why they were getting the movement that they do,
which we're going to run the ball and Javonte needs that,
like Javonte needs that movement in order I think to
get going.

Speaker 1 (45:09):
But still a good play there and I like it.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
The one thing I want to go back on your
earlier point there about Josh Jacobs and then running the ball.
So the reason I think the Packers might take more
of a Baltimore approach is that the number one defense
against the run right now is the Cleveland Browns. They
have a really good, really good defense, like it, just
it gets over shadowed by how bad that offense is.
Like number think about this number one against the rush

(45:35):
and number three against the pass to give it forty
points last week, it has all to do with the offense,
all to do with the turnover. So there's there might
be this misperception out there about being able to take
care and take advantage of Cleveland, and I think you're
gonna have more success against the air.

Speaker 1 (45:50):
But that's kind of so again. But David the tamiy.

Speaker 2 (45:53):
Wick's thirty seven hundred, you know, Contrarion play here a
little bit. But here's what else I put in my
line up. I was gonna get Bucky Irv. So it's Beijeon,
Seelamb and Bucky Irving in my lineup here in the
Flex seven with the RB one level usage. He's seeing
going up against the Jets who are now playing with
Tyrod Taylor. This should be a positive game script with

(46:15):
with Tampa Bay. I mean, I don't know how you
seeing that one agree.

Speaker 4 (46:21):
We've seen how erratic the offense has been with fields,
and I don't know that he gets a whole lot
better with with Tyrod or Tarad, depending on what we're
doing these days.

Speaker 2 (46:32):
We fixed it the We fix it the Bijon from
the ridiculous Baujon thing that was going on. We already
fixed Tarad, the Tyrod. These people they need to stop
coming up with different names all the freaking time and
make it us look like we're fowls for saying the
name wrong. No, no, this is how your name spelled. Stop
making up pronunciations that don't exist. Okay, that that's that's
my rant on that one.

Speaker 1 (46:52):
Who else you have? Somebody else you have in a
line up this week?

Speaker 4 (46:56):
Okay, let me let me pull it up.

Speaker 1 (46:58):
Uh, why you do that?

Speaker 2 (46:59):
I also have Jawan Johnson is my tight end at
thirty nine hundred dollars, the number three tight end going
up against Seattle, who's been getting cooked by tight end
so far in the first two weeks.

Speaker 1 (47:08):
It is only thirty nine hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
That might not that might be a mainstream play, but
that's the play I think you need to have.

Speaker 4 (47:14):
Yeah, here, let me give you one. I'm I'm giving
you a runway to make a rant that I know
you wanted to. Charters defense I think is a really
good value against the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
Yes, well, yeah, bo Nick's been turnover machine right, turnover
low scoring consistently. So yeah, I'm I'm with you, with
you one hundred percent on that one. I already went
down and poor Chase is like, oh man, my computer froze.

Speaker 1 (47:42):
What do I do?

Speaker 2 (47:43):
I think he just now realized that he is the
only one that a froze on the little outtakes were
for the for the audience there, and I'm just gonna
let him know just you froze on that. So we
can get back to this. Well for so going to
wrap the show some more best place this by the way,
this is for the millionmaker that I'm putting this lineup in.

(48:05):
So the Packers defense that talks about them number one defense.

Speaker 1 (48:08):
Thirty seven hundred dollars.

Speaker 2 (48:11):
It's rare, I think in tournament play that people will
pay up for defense.

Speaker 1 (48:16):
And I know this.

Speaker 2 (48:18):
I'm not saying everybody, but I know this because I
hardly ever pay up for defense. Usually what I try
to do is find the best defense at the cheapest
price and just go with it, even if it's not
a great matchup. But the Packers against the Browns is
too good to give up. With the way Joe Flacco
is turning that ball over right now, it's it's just
moneying the bank, moneying the bank, and we're able to

(48:39):
go cheap with our quarterback and our stack with Caleb
bin roma Dunzay.

Speaker 1 (48:44):
That that's kind of what that's kind of what we're
looking at here on that end.

Speaker 2 (48:48):
So here's another one for you. And so this is
the one that might have to change based on whatever
his injury might be. So Zach Sharbinay listened with the foot,
didn't practice on Wednesday, but I have him in my
life right now. Are forty eight hundred they're playing against
the Saints, Like he's the perfect cheap RB two. I
can't believe he's forty hundred dollars because he's been getting
more usage in kennth Walker, who's more expensive. I get

(49:10):
hands Walker's a bigger play. So if Strapperty can go,
I'm feeling really really good about this. You got any
other plays and you're a lone gonna try to come
up with a few alternatives to throw out there to people.

Speaker 4 (49:23):
Uh, let me see, Roma Dunze was such a great
shout by you. That was one that I'm definitely all
in on. Uh yeah, No, I don't have anything else.
I mean a lot of the guys who talked about earlier,
like Keenan Allen is a good shout like that's a
great option still at forty seven hundred dollars. Yeah, But

(49:43):
a lot of those other guys that we mentioned earlier. Generally,
the guys that are undervalued against the ecer are also
undervalued in good plays for you know your DFS lineups.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
Love that, So I'm so here's the adjustment that would
have to happen. I would have to go cheaper either
at the third receiver than the TV.

Speaker 1 (50:01):
Wicks, which is hard to do because every three, seven hundred.

Speaker 2 (50:03):
Or I probably have to go cheaper at defense, which
I really don't want to do as the packers. But
I'm only one hundred dollars away from like Base, shall
Tuton to pivot to him if Charbonnay couldn't go, So
figures crossed from this line up that Charbonne is actually
able to go. Because I'm feeling fire, feeling fire with
this lineup, I'm also feeling fire with this show.

Speaker 1 (50:20):
I know we had a little hiccup at the end.

Speaker 2 (50:21):
I apologize that we were not able to get the
DFS Cocktail Hour special to you guys. The recipe. I
got to solve bits and pieces of it. I'm sure
we can get Chase to do it next week. It's
a good fall recipe, so stay tuned to that while
we get of course, the Experts plays in next week's show.
But I'll be back tomorrow with doctor Brian Scott to
go over the injury inquiries.

Speaker 1 (50:43):
It's getting to be a bit of a hefty list. Now.
We got some, of course, some major ones that we're
going to talk about. I don't know how crazy long
so these players are going to talk about.

Speaker 2 (50:52):
It is going to be you know, out for but
we are going to go through it and what potentially
them missing or not missing, and how that's going to
affect fantasy football impact. And then of course make sure
you tune in Saturday morning because I'll be right there
with mister Chaz Filhardi from Sports Betting Weekly, so we
can line your pockets. We had an excellent week two

(51:13):
Chaz and I did. And the article that I write
for The Huddle every single week where you can tail
out fifteen player props, I went eleven and four. I
want eleven four. So if you don't think I'm not
giving you good information, I don't know how much more
you want. I know it's not fifteen and oh, but
eleven four that's pretty darn good. So make sure you
download the Operation Domination podcast on your favorite podcast app,

(51:35):
and make sure you check out our YouTube content on
the Fantasy Football Advice Network channel when you go to
