Zdravo. Ob koncu retrogradnega Merkurja se spomnimo na Appleove slušalke, ki režejo visoke tone, in ugotovimo, da dvelovnik postaja resna politična platforma. Če bi kdo dvelovniku dodal še kabino za zdravljenje, ki jo občudujemo že celo 6. knjigo, bi volili tudi politično opcijo, ki je na nasprotni strani od tovar’ša Kordiša.
V zadnjem delu 7. poglavja spremljamo Zaphoda, ki se je znašel na mavričnem mostu: nad njim so zmaji, za njim topovi, Zaphod pa kot mojster visoko stresnih situacij precej srečno pride skoraj do konca mostu, ko ga Helheim ustavi. Na pomoč prihiti zvita palica, Zaphod pa konča z mislijo, ki vsebuje tudi mistično “eno pivo”.
