In this Part 2 of Wyn Aubrey-Child's extraordinary journey,  she navigates life in 1970s Japan, embraces its rich culture, and forges a unique professional and personal path. We'll pick up where we left off, with Wyn miraculously surviving a treacherous typhoon in the Sea of Japan, forging a bond of camaraderie with her fellow passengers. Upon  arriving in Japan, Wyn's adventurous spirit lands her in a bit of hot water and her unexpected arrest leads to a humorous cultural exchange and a newfound appreciation for the importance of cultural understanding. From there, Wyn's journey takes her to bustling markets, ancient temples, student riots and firsthand experience of the power of social movements.

We'll also hear about Wyn's unexpected love story, the loss of her father, and her eventual move to the idyllic paradise of Hawaii, which doesn’t turn out to be all sunshine and rainbows. Wyn faces a challenging career in social work,confronting the harsh realities of foster care and adoption.
