Now on to the show.
Hey friends, welcome to thisepisode of Organized Chaos.
I hope you're having an amazingday so far.
Today we're going to be talkingabout seasons Seasons of our
lives, the way that we canembrace change and really
(00:55):
flourish as mom entrepreneurs.
I wanted to record this episodenow because since, at the time
of this recording, we'retransitioning out of summer and
I want to highlight theimportance of adapting to
different phases and findingways to really thrive amidst the
change, because, even though wedo this every single year,
(01:16):
we're just in different seasonsof our lives, we're in different
seasons of our business.
So my goal is to give youstrategies and some insights to
help you navigate thesetransitions effectively, so we
don't fall into that hamsterwheel of life and just feel calm
and really end the year strong.
(01:36):
So in this episode I want tohighlight some of the parallels
of the seasons of life and thestages of motherhood and
entrepreneurship.
Each season brings uniquechallenges and opportunities
that make it just reallyimportant to adapt and to grow
along with it.
So let's talk about thedifferent life and business
(01:59):
changes.
So life is much like changingseasons, right?
And just as the weather shiftsfrom spring to summer, then to
fall and winter, our roles asmothers and entrepreneurs also
evolved into distinct phases.
So imagine each season as amirror of the stages we come
(02:21):
across on our journey ofmotherhood and entrepreneurship.
So let's talk about the springseason.
So this is like the seedingphase, and in this season you
plant the seeds of your businessdreams.
Much like a mother-to-be wouldnurture her growing child, so
just as spring brings thepromise of new life and growth,
(02:43):
this phase really represents theinitial spark of an idea, a
business plan and theanticipation of what's to come.
So, just as a mother nourishesher body to create life, you
nurture your idea and businesswith the passion and vision.
So now summer is like thegrowth and expansion phase.
(03:04):
So, as the days get longer andthe temperatures go up.
Your business and your familyflourish like a mother caring
for her growing child.
You invest time, energy andsome of the resources into your
business, nurturing itsdevelopment.
So the hard work that you putin leads to a lot of growth,
(03:25):
much like the way that plantsthrive under the summer sun.
This season represents scaling, networking and just taking your
business to new heights.
Now let's go into the fallseason.
Now this can be a tricky seasonbecause it's either you see it
as opportunity or you see it asscary change.
(03:47):
So this is the harvest andtransition phase.
So basically, just like trees, they shed their leaves in the
fall.
You may need to let go ofcertain aspects of your business
to make room for newopportunities and in motherhood,
kids may leave the nest forschool or college.
(04:07):
In entrepreneurship, you mightreevaluate your strategies and
kind of pivot to align withchanging market trends or
whatever is going on in yourbusiness.
So this season is aboutharvesting the fruits of your
labor, celebrating yoursuccesses and preparing for the
next phase.
So the next phase is winter, right, and it's the reflection
(04:29):
and renewal phase.
So winter brings sort of thisquiet reflection and, you know,
like bears hibernation, so thiskind of offers a chance to
recharge and evaluate.
So, in both motherhood andentrepreneurship, winter is a
time for reassessment andrefining your goals and
(04:50):
nurturing yourself.
So, just as nature uses thistime to kind of prepare for
upcoming spring, you use thisphase to realign your priorities
and learn from challenges andemerge stronger and wiser.
So what I just talked about wasbasically an analogy that the
changing season symbolized theever evolving nature of our
(05:14):
roles as a mother and as abusiness owner.
So embracing each season allowsus to adapt and to grow and
thrive and ultimately create abalance and fulfilling life that
harmonizes both our personaland professional goals.
So now that we understand thatwe actually go through these
different seasons, I want togive you a strategy to kind of
(05:37):
help you navigate during thesetransitions.
Now I have several, but I wantto start with this one.
It's actually from the conceptthat I created, which is called
the Chi method, and I'm notgoing to dive into all of that.
I actually have an entire threemonth program that I walk women
through in this.
(05:58):
It's my one on one coachingprogram.
But I do want to give you onestrategy that will help you in
the season and if you areinterested in joining the actual
program, I will link that inthe show notes.
So let's get back to thestrategy Now.
The Chi method stands forclarity, harmony and
intentionality, and I start offwith clarity because I feel like
(06:20):
it's basically the guidinglight through life seasons.
So let's go back to the analogy.
So let's start with spring, theseeding phase.
So having clarity means thatyou know your values, you know
your goals and you know yourvision for the future.
So clarity helps you set theright intentions and make
(06:41):
aligned choices.
So, just as a gardener, let'ssay, plans the layout of their
garden, your clarity becomes theblueprint for your future.
In the next phase growth andexpansion clarity acts as the
guiding light.
It helps you stay focused onwhat really matters.
So it enables you to prioritizetask and investments that align
(07:06):
with your goals.
So with a clear vision, you canconfidently delegate tasks and
set boundaries and protect yourenergy, because energy is
everything.
Just like if you water yourgarden properly, your clarity
really nourishes your growth.
In the next phase of harvest andtransition, clarity allows you
(07:27):
to kind of discern whichprojects, relationships or
strategies are worth continuingand might need to be pruned away
.
Clarity in this phase preventsoverwhelm and this is really
important.
It ensures that you'rechanneling your efforts towards
things that align with yourpurpose.
(07:48):
So, just as like a farmer wouldselect harvest that have the
best crops, your clarity guidesyour decisions.
Lastly, in the winter, orreflecting in renewal phase,
clarity becomes a source ofpeace as you reflect on your
accomplishments and yourchallenges.
(08:10):
So it allows you to review yourjourney and identify some of
those areas of growth andimprovement.
Clarity in this phase also helpsyou set intentions for the
coming seasons and it enablesyou to kind of emerge from the
winter with like a clear pathforward.
So, as you can tell, claritybecomes like a beacon that
(08:32):
lights up your path in theseever-changing seasons of life
and business, kind of providesthat insight needed to make
informed decisions, the focus tomaintain your course and kind
of the resilience to, likeweather, any storm.
This is why I chose thisstrategy to start off with in my
program, because clarity, firstand foremost, guides us through
(08:57):
the twists and turns ofmotherhood and business,
ensuring that we thrive in everyseason.
So it's really important toembrace change and adapt to the
ever-changing seasons.
All right, well, I hope thatwas inspiring and I hope that
this gives you some insight inhow you can really flourish as a
(09:18):
mom-pernover.
Thank you so much for tuning inand I just want to let you know
that I am cheering you on inyour growth journey.
And again, if you're interestedin learning more about my
program, I will link that up inthe show notes.
All right, that's all I havefor you today.
I hope you have an amazing restof your day and I will see you
(09:39):
next week.
