j - Jesus M. Ruiz (00:03):
The vision
received was that of blood cells
traveling throughout the body, supplying the much-needed oxygen
and other nutrients to thediffering members of the body to
fulfill their purpose.
Once the blood cells are spent, they must return back to the
heart to be refilled beforebeing sent out again and fulfill
their purpose.
Paul in Romans 2 speaks aboutthe judgment of others.
(00:31):
O man, whosoever thou art thatjudges, for wherein thou judgest
another, thou condemnestthyself.
For thou that judges doest thesame things.
But we are sure that thejudgment of God is according to
truth against them which commitsuch things.
(00:54):
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judges them which do such
things and doest the same, thatthou wilt escape the judgment of
God?
In verse 6, he says, Jesus willrender to every man according
to his deeds, to them who bypatient continuance and
(01:17):
well-doing seek for glory andhonor and immortality and
eternal life, but unto them thatare contentious and do not obey
the truth, but obey rightunrighteousness, indignation and
wrath, tribulation and anguishare upon every soul of a man
that doeth evil.
To who first?
(01:38):
The Jew first, and also of theGentile.
Paul was speaking to those whowere condemning and judging
others, but who were walking inthe same sins that they were
judging others in.
They were just as guilty.
And so if they're just asguilty and they want to be
(02:01):
unmerciful to this man or thiswoman walking in this, how much
sore punishment do you thinkthey are going to receive?
Having judged other men of thatguilty thing, if they were just
as guilty.
God will in the day of judgmentrender to every man according
to his deeds.
He said, If you forgive mentheir trespasses, your heavenly
(02:35):
father will also forgive you.
But if you forgive not mentheir trespasses, neither will
your father forgive yourtrespasses.
And as much as we might hate toadmit it, I happen to think
that unforgiveness may end upbeing the number one sin that
(03:00):
causes the Lord's people to notenter into the kingdom of
heaven.
Because they have puffedthemselves up with such
knowledge and arrogancy withinthe faith that they think they
have the right to judge thosethat are struggling, stumbling,
and bumbling in the earliness oftheir walk with Christ and the
(03:23):
sins that they still have notovercome yet.
And it is quite clear, I mean,it's quite evident what Jesus
just said here.
If you will not forgive otherstheir transgressions against
you, he is not going to forgiveyour trespasses against him.
(03:45):
That is sobering.
Because this is a conditionalpromise, and not many of us
Christians like to talk abouthow the blessings and the curses
of God are conditional, they'rebased on what you decide.
He has set a standard, he hassaid this is what's going to
(04:08):
happen if you do this, this isgonna happen if you do that, and
there's always an if then, cause effect.
But he sets the standard and hesays, okay, now walk in this,
choose life or death.
But it's up to you.
And it's not just the writtenword in our Bibles, because
(04:45):
there are times that some of ushave heard the Lord God Spirit
to spirit, and we have still notobeyed him.
And that's just as disobedientas disobeying something written
in the word.
Later on, in Jesus' ministry,in Matthew's account of his
(05:09):
ministry, Jesus comes back tothis very principle of
forgiveness.
And He uses a parable tohighlight the impact that it
will have on his people.
He said, The kingdom of God islike this.
This is in Matthew 18, verse23.
There was a certain king whichwould take account of his
(05:32):
servants, and when he had begunto reckon, one was brought unto
him which owed him 10,000talents.
You might not understandcurrency in that day and age,
but ten thousand talents, a richman probably could not pay.
(05:52):
It was that out of reach for aservant.
And he continues on But for asmuch as ye had not to pay, his
Lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife and children and
all that he had, and payment tobe made, and the servant, oh, he
fell down and he worshippedhim, and he cried out to his
(06:15):
Lord, Have patience with I'llpay you everything.
And the Lord had compassion onhim.
He had mercy towards him, andand it moved him to loose him of
that debt.
He just saw his pain and heknew his servant's never gonna
(06:38):
pay it.
Why am I gonna put him throughthis and his family and his
children?
I'm just gonna lose him.
And so the king did.
He forgave him all the debt.
But that same servant went outand found one of his fellow
(06:59):
servants, which owed him ahundred pence.
It's like comparing a hundredpennies to ten thousand dollars.
That's what it's kind of like.
Just to give you a picture, anappreciation of how little this
was to the servant.
And that servant fell down atthe servant's feet and said,
(07:26):
Have patience with me, I willpay thee what thou owest.
But that servant would not.
But he went and he cast theminto prison till he should pay
all the debt.
And many servants saw this andwere deeply grieved.
(07:47):
And they went to the king andthey told the king what had
happened.
And the king was probably justastounded at what this servant
just did for a hundred pennies.
When he just forgave the man often thousand dollars.
So that king calls him in andhe says, You wicked servant, I
(08:23):
forgave thee all that moneybecause you wanted me to.
Shouldn't you have had the samecompassion upon that other
servant?
Isn't it just logical?
Wouldn't it just be the rightthing to do?
To be forgiven of so much yetyou could not find it in your
(08:44):
heart to forgive him of thatlittle bit.
And the Lord was mad, he waswroth, extremely angry.
And he delivered him to thetormentors, till he should pay
all that was due unto him.
I want you to look at theperson nearest to you, to the
(09:08):
right or to the left.
I want you to repeat after me.
I want you to look into theireyes and repeat after me.
Go ahead.
Look into Josh's eyes, Jordan, right there.
Not deeply, just look into hiseyes.
Repeat after me.
Talk to them, tell them, repeatafter me, so likewise shall my
(09:30):
heavenly father do also untoyou.
If you from your hearts willnot forgive every one of your
brothers, their trespasses.
If they should not forgiveothers.
(10:01):
If you forgive others, yourheavenly father will absolutely
forgive you.
But if you decide within yourheart, I'm not going to forgive
him, I'm gonna hold on to thisgrudge, I'm gonna hold on to
this offense and this pain andthis longing for vengeance, and
I want ill will to happen tohim, and I just want his whole
(10:21):
party to come crashing down, andI want you to cry at your
wedding, and I want you to cryat your marriage, and I want you
to, I want, I want the worst tohappen to you, then expect the
Lord to treat you with the sameamount of mercilessness
because He will not forgive you.
He will turn you over to thetormentors until your debt is
(10:44):
paid in full.
Yet here's the catch your debtis so great that you will never
have the time or the opportunityto pay it all back.
So your judgment in tormentwill be forever.
It will be for eternity.
(11:05):
Now, based on Hebrews 6, weread and we are sure that there
is this word called eternaljudgment.
It's in the Bible because we'vebeen reading Hebrews 6, 1 and
2.
However, there's a very, verypopular doctrine out there, and
(11:27):
they believe in the doctrine ofwhat's called eternal security.
But those two words are notfound in the scriptures, like
eternal judgment is.
Seeing that you crucify tothemselves the Son of God
(13:10):
afresh, and you put him to openshame again.
Clearly, these scripturesdescribe those who have partaken
in everything that we've beentalking about in the principles
of the doctrines of Christ.
And the author states inHebrews that it is impossible
(13:31):
that you have experienced allthat to be renewed again unto
repentance.
What does that mean?
I'm gonna look into that, butwhat does that mean?
What do you think that meansright now?
It is impossible to be renewedagain unto repentance if they
(13:54):
fall away.
Now, on the face value, on thesurface, this scripture seems to
completely contradict thedoctrine once saved, always
saved.
And if you decide to departfrom him after you have been
born again, you cannot berenewed again unto repentance,
(14:16):
like you were renewed the firsttime you were born again.
You see, you're not born againmultiple times, you're only born
again once.
Just as Christ died once andfor all men, once and for all
(14:37):
time, so you are born againonce.
And if after that you decide toforsake the Lord, you cannot be
renewed again.
You can't sully yourself andthen think, well, he's gonna
clean me again.
And I want to clarify thatbecause I don't want you to
(14:59):
think that you can't repent ifyou stumbled.
I'm talking about falling away.
And there's a biblicaldefinition for falling away
that's very different from youjust stumbled today.
You know, you you sort oftripped.
Falling away is completelydifferent, and I want to show
you what that is.
So the author in Hebrews hestarts to clarify, he starts to
(15:23):
elaborate why he just made thesestatements in verses four
through six.
So go to Hebrews chapter 10.
And it starts with if again.
If they shall fall away torenew them again unto repentance
was Hebrews 6.
And now in Hebrews 10, heclarifies it and he says, For if
(15:45):
we sin willfully, after that wehave received the knowledge of
the truth, there remaineth nomore sacrifice for sins, but a
certain fearful looking forjudgment and fiery indignation,
which shall devour theadversaries.
Because if you despise Moses'law and you died without mercy
(16:11):
under the two or threewitnesses, how much sorrow
punishment do you suppose willhappen to those that thought,
you know what?
I'm born again.
I can go ahead and just keep onsinning because once saved,
(16:31):
always saved.
Right?
You can go ahead and I'm savedalready, right?
Right?
I was born again, right?
Well, then if I'm born again, Ican go back.
But you see, this is how theLord sees it.
You trodden underfoot the Sonof God, you count the blood of
(16:55):
his covenant where you weresanctified in, where you and you
make it an unholy thing, andyou do despite to the spirit of
grace.
In other words, you grieve thespirit of God, because if you've
been born again according tothe scriptures, and the spirit
(17:15):
of God obviously is dwelling inyou, you're not going to feel
comfortable with going back tothat way.
And he is going to be offendedthat you think that you can.
Because now the blood thatsanctified you, now you're
making it an ugly, dirty thing.
It's worthless to you, is whatyou're saying to him.
(17:38):
So the operative word here thathelps us to understand
what does it means to fall awayis if we decide to sin
willfully.
I'm deciding and I don't carewhat He says or thinks, because
I believe I'm once saved.
(17:59):
I'm always saved.
I could do anything I want now.
Truly falling away is willfullysinning after receiving the
knowledge of the truth.
That's that enlightened part.
I received it, I heard theword.
After tasting the heavenlygift, the Holy Spirit, after
(18:21):
tasting of the good word and thepowers to come, I actually
walked in the power of theSpirit.
Because if you decide towillfully sin after all of that,
it's as if you crucify the Lordagain, and you put his other
hand again, and you stick thenail right on his feet again.
(18:47):
That's how he sees it.
How much sore punishment do youthink you should have having
done that to him again?
Think of Moses.
First time the water came fromthe rock.
(19:09):
What was he supposed to do?
Nope.
The first time he was supposedto strike the rock.
He struck the rock, it pouredout water.
Later on in the wildernessexperience, what was he told to
do?
Speak to the rock.
What did he end up doing?
He struck him again.
(19:32):
Jesus will not tolerate beingstruck again.
He died once for all men, oncefor all time.
He will not be put on the crossagain.
You pay for your sins becausehe's not going to pay for it
again.
Too valuable the first time todo it again.
(19:56):
It would discredit what He didthe first time, it would devalue
what He did the first time.
So I'm not paying for it again,He says.
You pay for your own sins.
In Jesus' own words, doing thatis called blasphemy against the
(20:20):
Holy Ghost.
That's what it is.
People come and they startsaying, Well, I think I did the
unforgivable sin.
What is that?
The unforgivable sin.
In Matthew 12, verse 31, Jesussaid, Wherefore I say unto you,
(20:44):
all manner of sin and blasphemyshall be forgiven unto men.
But the blasphemy against theHoly Ghost shall not be forgiven
unto men.
And whosoever speaketh a wordagainst the Son of Man, it shall
be forgiven him, but whosoeverspeaketh against the Holy Ghost,
(21:05):
it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither
in the world to come.
You see, the sin described inthe account of Hebrews, that is
blasphemy against the HolyGhost.
You were sanctified by theword, you were sanctified by the
(21:26):
blood.
You were sanctified by the HolyGhost, and now you think you're
gonna walk in sin?
That's blasphemy against theHoly Ghost.
And so this is the unforgivablesin, because it is the sin of
the rejection of the Holy Spiritof God, who is the Holy Spirit
(21:48):
of Jesus, who is Jesus ChristHimself.
Romans 8, 9 and 10.
The rejection of Jesus willnever be forgiven.
The rejection of his gospelwill never be forgiven.
The rejection of his discipleswho are giving you the word will
never be forgiven becauseyou're rejecting him, not them.
(22:13):
Peter, another apostle, spokeof this same subject matter that
I'm describing to you rightnow.
And in 2 Peter 2, 20 through22, Peter says, if, there it is
(22:35):
again, if after they haveescaped the pollutions of the
world, through the knowledge ofthe Lord and Savior Jesus
Christ, same type of descriptionPaul was giving, and they are
again entangled like a pretzelor like a knotted string of rope
(22:56):
in and overcome, their latterend is worse than in the
beginning.
For it had been better for themto have never known the way of
righteousness than after theyhave known it to turn away from
the commandment delivered untothem.
(23:17):
But it has happened again.
Unto them, according to thetrue proverb, the dog has turned
to his own vomit again, and thesow that is washed to her
wallowing in the mire.
Two different apostlesbasically describing the same
thing.
Escaping the pollutions of theworld through the knowledge of
(23:42):
our Lord and Savior JesusChrist.
Paul said after receiving theknowledge of the truth.
Becoming entangled in thepollutions of the world again
and overcome by them, that'sfalling away from your escape
because you're now walking inthe same mess that you just got
out of.
Your latter state is now worsethan the first.
(24:02):
It would have been better foryou to have never known the way
of righteousness than to haveknown it and turned from the
holiness that was given to you.
Like a dog eating his ownvomit, like a pig after being
clean and running back into themud and the dung where which he
(24:25):
came.
So is the man who decides I cando whatever I want now that I'm
one saved, always saved.
That is the man who falls awayfrom the salvation of the Lord.
A man who sins willfully.
And it's a damnable heresy.
(24:50):
The only eternal security isnot used by those two words, but
it really is applied only tothose who take part in the first
resurrection.
Because the second death has nopart in the first resurrection.
Those are the ones with eternalsecurity.
They don't have anything toworry about.
(25:13):
They've been perfected inChrist.
They already reigned with him amillion years, excuse me, a
thousand years.
But that's for the resurrectionof the unjust into the lake of
fire.
But the lake of fire will neverresurrection.
They are the ones that haveeternal security.
And that brings us to the greatwhite throne judgment.
Jesus will be seated upon athrone, and Paul said that we
(25:37):
must all appear before thejudgment seat of Christ in 2
Corinthians 5 and 10.
Because everyone is going toreceive the things that they
have done in this body accordingto hath to that hat he hath
done, whether it be good or bad.
Jesus describes this event in aparable.
(25:59):
In Matthew 25, verse 31.
Jesus describes it like this:
When the Son of Man shall come (26:03):
undefined
in glory, and all the holyangels with him, then shall he
sit upon the throne of hisglory, and before him shall be
gathered all nations, and heshall separate there as the
shepherd divideth his sheep fromthe goats, and he shall set the
(26:27):
sheep on his right hand, butthe goats on his left hand.
Anybody want to switch sides?
No?
Okay, it's fine.
And then the king shall say tothose on his right hand, Come,
ye blessed of my father, inheritthe kingdom prepared for you
(26:48):
from the foundation of theworld.
For I was hungered and ye gaveme meat.
I was thirsty and ye gave medrink.
I was a stranger and ye took mein.
I was naked and ye clothed meand sick and ye visited me, and
I was in prison and ye came untome.
But then the righteous aregonna wonder, huh?
Lord, when did we see youhungered?
(27:11):
Oh, when did we feed you?
When would when were youthirsty and we gave you to
drink?
And when we saw a stranger, when did we take you in?
When did all of this happen?
And the king on the throne willsay to them, Inasmuch as ye
have done it into the least ofthese, my brethren, ye did it
unto me.
That goes back to that message.
(27:32):
It's not that they haveforsaken you.
They've forsaken me.
When you've given drink toanother brother, you're giving
it to the Lord.
They are the embodiment ofChrist in the earth.
(27:52):
Now you remember Ezekiel 34,verse 2?
The shepherds of Israel.
Woe be to the shepherds ofIsrael that do feed themselves,
they eat the fat, they clothethemselves with the wool, they
kill them that are fed, and theyfeed not the flock.
The disease have they notstrengthened, neither have they
(28:13):
healed the sick, they have notbound up those that have been
broken, they have not broughtagain that which was driven
away, they haven't sought thatwhich was lost, but with force
and with cruelty they have ruledover them.
Every man will be judgedaccording to their works.
(28:33):
Works of righteousness inobedience, work of
unrighteousness in disobedience.
But let's go back to thatparable, because I read that he
seeked you again to have itfresh in your mind.
You hear the words described ofthe shepherds, now hear what he
says to those on his left hand.
Depart from me, ye cursed intoeverlasting fire, prepared for
(28:54):
the devil and his angels, for Iwas hungered, you didn't feed
me.
I was thirsty, you didn't giveme drink.
I was a stranger, you didn'ttake me in.
I was naked, you didn't clotheme.
I was sick and in prison, andyou didn't visit me.
That's how the shepherds weredescribed as treating the flock.
(29:15):
And then they're gonna say tohim, When did we see you hungry,
thirsty, naked, prison?
When did that happen?
Inasmuch as ye did it not toone of the least of these, ye
did it not to me.
And these shall go away intoeverlasting punishment, but the
(29:37):
righteous into life eternal.
But in contrast, the goat andthe Tears will be placed on his
(30:02):
left, and their judgment issurely everlasting and surely
eternal.
Now let's read the account, thereal account of Revelation 20
of the great white thronejudgment.
20.
(30:23):
Verse 11.
John is lifted up in the Spiriton the Lord's day, and this is
what he sees in heaven.
John said, And I saw a greatwhite throne, and him that sat
on it, from whose face the earthand the heaven fled away, and
there was found no place forthem.
(30:43):
And I saw the dead, small andgreat, stand before God, and the
books were opened, and anotherbook was opened, which is the
book of life.
And the dead were judged, condemned, out of those things
which were written in the booksaccording to their works.
(31:04):
And the sea gave up the deadwhich were in it, and death and
hell delivered up the dead whichwere in them, and they were
judged, every man according totheir works.
And death and hell were castinto the lake of fire.
This is the second death.
And whosoever was not foundwritten in the book of like was
cast into the lake of fire.
(31:26):
The eternal judgment takesplace at the end of the
thousand-year reign with Christ.
After the second resurrectionhas taken place and is applied
to the devil, death, and hell, and those that are not found
written in the Lamb's book oflife.
(31:46):
This is the second death.
Now to be practical, Pauldescribes those who shall not
inherit the kingdom of God.
Yes, they will be thePharisees.
Yes, they will be those who donot know God, those who do not
obey the gospel of our LordJesus Christ, those who fall
(32:08):
away even after being properlyborn again.
But he says specifically inGalatians 5 19, speaking of the
works of flesh that aremanifested, which are these
adultery, fornication,uncleanness, lasciviousness,
(32:29):
idolatry, witchcraft, hatred,variance, emulations, wrath,
strife, seditions, heresies,envyings, murders, drunkenness,
revelings, and such like, of thewhich I tell you before, as I
have told you in the time past, that they which things shall not
(32:49):
inherit the kingdom of God.
Don't be fooled by those whosay they were born again and
they're walking in these worksof the flesh.
(33:12):
They will not inherit thekingdom of God.
Not fornicators, not idolaters, not adulterers, not the
effeminate, nor the abusers ofthemselves with mankind, not the
thieves, not the covetous, thedrunkards, the revilers, the
extortioners shall inherit thekingdom of God.
(33:33):
It will not happen.
And he says, Such were some ofyou to the Corinthians, but you
are washed, you are sanctified, you are justified in the name of
the Lord Jesus and by theSpirit of our God.
(33:54):
Paul is reminding them, warningthem, don't fall away.
Remember what we what he justgot you out of.
Don't go back and willfullysin, because I adjure you.
I say it to the Galatians, Isay it to the Corinthians, and
I'll say it to every church thatI write a letter to.
This will not inherit thekingdom of God.
(34:16):
Only those that do the will ofour Father will enter the
kingdom of God.
Matthew 7 21.
Only those that are born of thewater and of the Spirit can see
(34:42):
and enter into the kingdom ofGod.
Only those that are converted, born again, and become like
children will enter into thekingdom of God, Matthew 18, 3.
Only those who receive thekingdom of God as a child will
(35:04):
enter into the kingdom of God.
Luke 8, or excuse me, Luke 18,17.
Only the children of the firstresurrection will enter the
kingdom of God.
Luke 20 and 36, Revelation 20and 6.
Only the children of promiseare the children of God who will
(35:26):
enter the kingdom of God.
Galatians 4 28 and Romans 9 8.
Only the children of obediencewill escape the wrath of God.
Colossians 3 and 6.
Only the children of light, thechildren of the day, will enter
(35:50):
the kingdom of God.
Only those who love God and areborn of God will overcome the
world.
Knowing that all of this istrue, and knowing that all of
(36:16):
this is in the scripture, let usendure until the end.
Let us be the overcomers thatthe scriptures require us to be.
Let us hold fast to the faiththat was once delivered to the
saints by the apostles and theprophets of our Lord Jesus
(36:36):
Christ.
Let us take inventory ofourselves and our walk with him
and to these principles of thedoctrine of Christ, and let us
endeavor to continue in them.
Because it is by doing so thatwe shall save ourselves and
those that hear us.
(36:58):
Amen.
