Prepare for a profound shift in how you perceive Scripture as this teaching unveils a remarkable revelation: what if many Psalms and prophetic writings aren't merely predicting Christ, but revealing His actual thoughts and prayers during His earthly ministry?

The central revelation emerges when examining passages like Psalm 22 ("My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?") and Psalm 119's declarations of love for God's Word. These aren't simply David's experiences or prophetic glimpses into the future, but windows into Christ's very soul—His meditations, struggles, and devotion as He walked the earth as fully human, dependent upon the Spirit of God.

"Let this mind be in you that was also in Christ Jesus" becomes the refrain throughout this teaching. Jesus, as the Son of Man rather than merely exercising His divinity, demonstrated how to live in complete alignment with God's Word. He treasured Scripture, found it to be as "sweet as honey," and committed Himself to fulfilling it regardless of the cost. This revelation transforms Jesus from an unreachable divine being into our prototype—the blueprint that shows us how we too can walk as sons and daughters of God.

The message concludes with a sobering reminder that true discipleship requires counting the cost, being willing—like Abraham with Isaac or the man who sold everything for the pearl of great price—to sacrifice what is most precious to gain what is most valuable. Are you ready to have the mind of Christ?

j - Jesus M. Ruiz (00:03):
The vision received was that of blood cells
traveling throughout the body, supplying the much needed oxygen
and other nutrients to thediffering members of the body to
fulfill their purpose.
Once the blood cells are spent, they must return back to the
heart to be refilled beforebeing sent out again and fulfill
their purpose and fulfill theirpurpose.

(00:31):
This day wasn't particularlyplanned the way that it turned
out.
I knew before, and I've justcome to remember now, how the
Lord is mindful of the feelings,of the wounds, of the hurts of
his saints, and normallyfellowship doesn't go in this

(00:57):
fashion.
But obviously there's a needfor the touch of God to come
upon the hearts of people thatare hurting, that are wounded,
not so much because of God didsomething evil to them, but just
because of the loss.
There are soul ties that areformed when you have

(01:21):
relationships with others, andsome soul ties are negative.
Some of the soul ties are very, very positive, and the soul tie
that Marta established withmany of us was deep, and so the

(01:43):
pain is deep, and I wish yoursister was here today, because
the Lord had something on myheart to tell her, so I would
have to delay that.
It would have to be for anotherday.
She should be here soon.
Oh really, she took theobituary out.
Oh, okay, or one, it was somekind of At work.

(02:04):
Nevertheless, I've got amessage and I hope it comes out
right, because I feel likeBishop Harris, he doesn't
actually write it, he justcopies and pastes a bunch of
scriptures together and when hegives it it's then delivered
spontaneously.
So I hope it's in order and Ihope that you understand what

(02:29):
the Lord has in store for you, what the word of God is for you
today.
I guess, in honor of Mamartaeven though the message is not
on this, it'll start with this Ithink one of her favorite words
, a word that she came toembrace fully, wholeheartedly,

(02:53):
is repentance.
In Psalm 119, very long chapterof 170-something verses, in
verse 9, there's a word thatstarts off.
If you read 119, it's sectionedoff, and before it's sectioned
off there's a word that's givento sort of describe those next

(03:14):
set of verses, and this versestarts with the word Beth, and
this section of verses has to dowith purity is the fruit of the
law, and Psalm 119 saysWherewithal shall a young man
cleanse his way?
How is a young man going toclean up his life?

(03:37):
How is he going to clean up hisdirection and his way by taking
heed according to thy word.
No man can cleanse his way lesthe conform his life to the word
.
It says in 2 Timothy as adefinition kind of repentance.

(04:03):
Paul wasn't kind of definingrepentance, but in the way that
he said it he is defining it.
He says in meekness, Timothy, instruct those that oppose
themselves If God peradventurewill give them repentance to the
acknowledging of the truth.
And an element, a criticalelement of repentance is that

(04:24):
repentance must acknowledge thetruth.
It must acknowledge that theway that they're walking is
wrong, because he has somethingto compare it to and the truth
that he compares it to makes himrealize that my waywardness is
crooked and I must get straight.
But it doesn't get straightunless I conform it according to

(04:48):
his word.
He continues on in 2 Timothy, actually a couple of verses
before that, and he says if aman therefore purge himself from
these, he shall be a vessel ofhonor.
There is a requirement, thereis a responsibility that is
placed upon man that he mustpurge himself of things to make

(05:10):
himself a vessel of honor, tomake himself sanctified,
something useful to the master, something prepared for every
good work that he is called unto.
And just in case you miss it,it says flee youthful lusts.
It says follow afterrighteousness, faith, charity,

(05:33):
peace with them that call on theLord out of a pure heart.
Follow these things with thebrethren who call upon the Lord
with a pure heart.
It's not just alone, but thereis a responsibility that only
you can handle, that only youcan take on yourself.
You must purge yourself Inorder to straighten your way.

(05:56):
You must conform your lifeaccording to thy word.
It is the only way to cleanseyour way.
And Peter, another apostle, notPaul, said this seeing ye have
purified your souls, youpurified your souls in obeying

(06:16):
the truth.
Obeying the truth is how youconform your life to his word.
Obeying the truth through theSpirit.
It says in 1 Peter 1, 22.
And although I've started itwith repentance, my message is

(06:37):
let this mind be in you.
That was also in Christ Jesus.
It says in Philippians 2, 5-13,.
I'm only going to highlight afew things and you can write
down the scriptures and it'll beup here and you can read it for
yourself at a later time, buthe begins with this Let this

(07:00):
mind be in you.
He is writing to thePhilippians.
They are the church that Paulhimself had established in the
gospel of the kingdom.
Let this mind be in you, whichwas also in Christ Jesus who,
being in the form of God,thought it not robbery to be
equal with God.
God, excuse me, Paul knew thatJesus, this man, this person

(07:25):
that he had come to know by theSpirit, by revelation, was equal
with God.
But in knowing that he was Godmanifested in the flesh, he
didn't think it was robbery tobe equal with God, but he made
himself.
This man, who was God, which isthe mystery of Godliness, made
himself of no reputation eventhough he was God.

(07:49):
He took upon himself the formof a servant, even though he was
God.
He was made in the likeness ofmen, even though he was God.
He humbled himself even thoughhe was God.
He humbled himself even thoughhe was God, and he became

(08:13):
obedient unto death.
This is a man.
This is a man that is anexample unto us of how we are to
walk out our life.
And in order for you tounderstand that the scriptures
must be opened unto you.
I'm going to share them.
Whether you receive them andhave them opened unto you, I
have no idea.

(08:33):
I'm only here to deliver themessage.
But Jesus open ups the eyes ofthose who are hungering and
thirsting after him.
He makes them understand thethings that the prophets of
those who are hungering andthirsting after him.
He makes them understand thethings that the prophets of old
diligently sought into and stilldid not understand themselves,
even though they gave theprophetic word.
He is able to open up the blindeyes not just physically but,

(08:58):
more important, spiritually.
He says in verse 12, as ye havealways obeyed, not as in my
presence only, but much more inmy absence.
Work out, work it out, yoursalvation with fear and
trembling, for it is God thatworketh in you, both to will, to

(09:22):
will, to want to desire and todo, to give you the power to
actually do his good pleasure,to actually do the things.
That puts a smile on his faceand where he says in his heart
well done.
Well done, my good and faithfulservant.
Well done, my good and faithfulservant.

(09:45):
You see, some of us think thatthis man, Jesus Christ, was so
much God that we cannot relateto him, that we can't understand
how he was able to relate to us.
But I tell you that thescriptures do declare from Paul
and to Peter, in Acts 2.22, whenhe's preaching the gospel for

(10:06):
the first time under the unctionof the Holy Ghost, he says you,
men of Israel, hear these wordsJesus of Nazareth a man.
He didn't say Jesus NazarethGod, no, Jesus Nazareth a man.
Consider that he was a man andyes, he was approved by God and

(10:27):
yes, he did miracles among youwith signs and wonders, and
which God did.
Hello, God did by him, by thisman.
He, God did these miracles inthe midst of you, as you
yourselves know, paul says in 1Timothy for there is one God and
one mediator between God andmen, the man, Christ Jesus.

(10:54):
It says in Hebrews, becausethere's this progressive
revelation that is trying tocome forth.
So if you have your eyes open, you will see, and if you don't
have your eyes open, you'regoing to see carnally and it's
going to mess you up.
You're not going to get it.
You're not going to understandwhat is at our fingertips.
When we were born again, andsome of us are, and some of us

(11:17):
have not yet been born again.
So listen to these words andsee the hope of the calling that
you have before you, because itsays in Hebrews, chapter 2,
verse 14,.
For as much then, as thechildren are partakers of flesh
and blood, he also himself, likewise, took part in the same.
He also became flesh and blood.

(11:42):
He was a man like you are a manwhere you sweat and you toil
and you have to go to thebathroom and you have to eat and
you have to hunger and you haveto thirst.
This man suffered all of thesethings because he was a man just
like us In every way.

(12:04):
Just like us, it says and itcontinues.
He didn't take on the form orthe nature of angels, but he
took on him the seed of Abraham.
He was a man, it says, in allthings.
He was made like unto hisbrethren Repeat after me all
things.
He was made like unto hisbrethren Repeat after me All

(12:28):
things.
He had eyes, he had two ears,he had two nostrils.
He tasted, he thirsted, hehungered, he sweated, he
struggled, just like you and I,because he was a man albeit God,
manifested in the flesh.
But you must understand, youmust get the revelation.

(12:50):
He was a man, and if you canget that revelation and then
realize all that he accomplished, you would realize, oh my God,
what I can do through you.
And he did this because he hadto be a reconciliation for the
sins of the people.

(13:16):
There are many Old Testamentscriptures that are prophetic,
and what I mean by prophetic?
That they sort of speak intheir present day.
They speak as to a future tocome, of something to come to
pass, or they speak of, about aperson or about a place, that
something is going to happen.
And I want to show you todaythat there are some scriptures

(13:42):
that just don't predict thefuture.
They actually reveal the heartof God.
Well, I don't think we see that.
So hopefully, by the end ofthis I will be able to show this
to you.
In Isaiah 49, we'll start withthe prophet Isaiah.
Many prophecies of the Messiahcame through the prophet Isaiah,

(14:05):
but in 49:2, he says and youread these passages and you
think, oh, he's talking abouthimself, he's talking about what
God did with him or to him.
And Isaiah says, 49:2, he hathmade my mouth like a sharp sword
.
In the shadow of his hand hathhe hid me and he made me a
polished shaft In his quiver.
He hath hid me and you think, wow, he did something

(14:28):
interesting with Isaiah.
But that's natural carnalunderstanding.
You have yet to have thescriptures open unto you.
If that's all that you see, solet me give you another one.
Isaiah, chapter 50, verse 4through 7.
And you think it's Isaiahspeaking, and it most certainly

(14:51):
is Isaiah speaking, it mostcertainly is the Spirit of God
speaking through the prophet.
And he says the Lord God hathgiven me the tongue of the
learned.
Okay, that's cool, Isaiah, thatI should know how to speak a
word and season to him.
That is weary.
Wow, that's nice.
He wakeneth morning by morninghe awakens me.

(15:11):
He wakened in my ear to hear,as the learned, the Lord God has
opened my ear and I was notrebellious and neither turned my
way back.
And you're thinking all thistime wow, isaiah, that's cool.
You hear the Lord, he's openingup your ears.
That's awesome.
But then, verse 6, it says Igave my back to the smiters and

(15:32):
my cheeks to them that pluckedoff the hair, something happened
, and maybe it happened beforethis point and you just haven't
had it revealed to you.
It says, I hidden out my facefrom shame and from spitting For
the Lord.
God will help me.
Therefore, shall I not beconfounded?

(15:53):
Therefore, I have set my facelike a flint and I know that I
shall not be ashamed.
Prophetic words are not simplytrying to predict something in
the future.
Consider that this passage hereis an example of you, of God
sharing his heart through theprophet of something that He

(16:14):
Himself experienced when In thedays of his flesh.
Consider that these are notsimply the words of Isaiah, but
these are the words of that man,Jesus Christ.
.
.
because we've heard many timesbefore how, in 1 Peter 1.11, it

(16:42):
says they're definitelyprophetic.
It was the Spirit of Christ andthe glory that should follow.
They're definitely prophetic.
It was the Spirit of Christ onthe prophets, giving stuff that
was going to take place, revealing how Jesus was going to
die a sinner's death, but theglory that was to follow

(17:02):
afterward, how he would beraised up, how he would be
placed and seated at the righthand of the Father in glory and
majesty and power, seated highabove, in principality, over
principalities and powers andrulers of the darkness, of
wicked spirits in high places.
Yes, it was the Spirit ofChrist.

(17:23):
Turn to Psalm 22, because it'smore than just predicting what
he was going to do in the future.
It's more intimate, what theSpirit of Christ was revealing
through the prophets of old.

(17:44):
Consider Psalm 22.
Verse 1 says my God, my God,why hast thou forsaken me?
And who's writing this?
David.
And so you think David.
David going through a troublingtime in his life and he's

(18:07):
saying my God, my God, why hasthat forsaken me?
And I'm not saying David didn'texperience this.
I'm not saying that he didn'twrite these words.
What I am saying is isn't thatwhat this man said on the cross?
Was that not his very words?
It's almost as if the Spirit ofChrist wanted to reveal to man,

(18:31):
through the prophets of old, exactly what he was, not what he
would do, not just what hewould do, but what he was
thinking, what he was meditatingon, what was going through his
heart as these things weretaking place.
And all of a sudden, it wasinjected into the Spirit of
David and as he spoke forth, what were his own words, not

(18:53):
realizing they were actually theSpirit of the man, Jesus Christ
speaking through him.
Read these words oh, my God, Icry in the daytime but you don't
hear me in the night season, and I'm not silent.
But thou art holy.

(19:13):
Thou inhabitest the praises ofIsrael.
Our fathers trusted in thee.
They trusted and thou didstdeliver them.
They cried unto thee and weredelivered.
They trusted in thee and werenot confounded.
And yeah, it's easy and safe tosay it was David.
Consider these were the thoughtsof the man, Jesus Christ, in

(19:35):
the days of his flesh.
What was he thinking?
How was he building himself up?
How was he strengtheninghimself up in the word to
complete what he was called for?
It says in verse 8, he trustedon the Lord that he would
deliver him.

(19:55):
Let him deliver him, seeing hedelighted in him.
Is that just David?
Consider, consider, as it says.
But thou art he that took meout of the womb.
Thou didst make me hope.
When I was upon my mother'sbreast, I was cast upon thee
from the womb.
Consider, as it says.

(20:15):
Are these not what we considermessianic prophecies?
Think in verse 14.
Is this the thoughts of the manas he was on the cross?
It says I am poured out likewater.
All my bones are out of joint.

(20:35):
My heart is like wax.
It is melted in the midst of mybowels.
My strength is dried up like apotsherd and my tongue cleave it
to my jaws.
And thou has brought me intothe dust of death.
And the dogs have encompassedme about the assembly of the
wicked, have enclosed me.
They pierced my hands and myfeet.
That's not David.

(20:57):
David did not have his handspierced, did not have his side
pierced, but the Spirit ofChrist of this man came through
David to reveal to us what washe thinking, what was he
struggling with.
He intimately, intimately, knows how we feel.

(21:17):
He intimately understands.
He's showing you his thoughtsas he was on the cross, because
it doesn't record that he saidanything much out loud Beside my
God, my God, why is thouforsaken me Beside Father?
Forgive them, for they know notwhat they do.
You don't hear of anything else, but here you're seeing
messianic prophecies that arerevealing to you his own heart.

(21:38):
It says they part my garmentsamong them and cast lots upon my
vesture.
He saw that.
He saw what they were doingBecause they were right next
door.
They took his garments and theywere casting lots, as it was
recorded.
He saw that and he's crying outto his God.
My God, they're parting mygarments, they're casting lots.

(22:00):
You have a revelation into theheart of the man, Jesus Christ.
And he says in verse 19,.
But be not thou far from me, oLord.
My strength, haste thee to helpme.
That man was crying out to God.
Right there are his words.

(22:23):
Right there are his own prayersto his God.
Let this mind be in you.
That was also in Christ Jesus.
It says deliver my soul fromthe sword, my darling from the
power of the dog.
Verse 22,.
I will declare thy name unto mybrethren.
Is that not what he did?

(22:44):
All throughout the four gospelsthat are recorded, I declared
my name among them in John 17.
That are recorded.
I declare my name among them inJohn 17.
As he prayed, I declare yourname among them, in the midst of
my disciples.
Deliver my soul, ye that fearthe Lord.
Praise him all.
Ye seed of Jacob.
Glorify him and fear him all.

(23:06):
Ye seed of Israel.
For he hath not despised norabhorred the affliction of the
afflicted.
Neither hath he hid his facefrom them when he heard.
But when he cried unto him, heheard this man, jesus, was
crying out to his God and heknew that his God was going to
hear him.

(23:28):
Psalm 119 is a big chapter andI'm not going to hear him.
Psalm 119 is a big chapter andI'm not going to go over
everything, but I'm going tohighlight for you and I'm going
to ask you to consider thatthese were not just simply
David's words.
I want you to right nowconsider, as I just highlight
some scriptures to you.
We're going to start in Psalm119, verse 89.
Consider this was the heart ofGod, this was heart of the man,

(23:52):
Jesus Christ.
And he is not just speakingthrough David for David's sake,
he's speaking through David forall of our sake.
Let this mind be in you.
That was also in the man,Christ Jesus.
The word is lamed, and thisportion of the scriptures is
describing God's unchangeablelaw.

(24:13):
He says Thy word is settled inheaven, o Lord.
They continue this dayaccording to thine ordinance,
for all are thy servants.
I will not listen.
Let this mind be in you.
That was also in Christ Jesus.
For he says I will not forgetthy precepts, for with them thou
hast quickened me.

(24:34):
With your precepts you've mademe alive.
I am thine.
Save me, for I sought thyprecepts.
Let this mind be in you thatyou seek the precepts of the
Lord.
The wicked have waited for me,to destroy me, but I will
consider thy testimony, eventhough my enemies surround me
about.
I will consider while I'mhanging on the cross, that your

(24:57):
testimonies are true.
Your testimonies are sure.
You are forever faithful and Iwill commit my soul unto you,
even into this death, for I knowthat you have never failed your
saints.
The next section is mem.
It describes a lover of God'slaw.

(25:18):
It says oh, how I love thy law.
It is my meditation all the day.
Consider this is not David'swords.
Consider, this is the man,Jesus Christ, speaking through
David.
I love your law.
I meditate on it, that throughthy commandments, you've made me
wiser than mine enemies.
They are ever with me.

(25:39):
I have more understanding thanall of my teachers for thy
testimonies on my meditation.
We don't know much about Jesus'life, but we know that at 12
years old he was confounding thePharisees in the temple.
Consider that those were thewords of the man when he was
confounding the Pharisees andwithin himself he was like
saying oh my God, yourtestimonies have made me wiser.

(26:03):
Your commandments have made mewiser than all of these ancients
, these elders.
What was it that made him wiser?
Your commandments have made mewiser than all of these ancients
, these elders.
What was it that made him wiser?
Let this mind be in you that hekept his commandments.
Consider that God's law is notjust the law, the 10

(26:24):
commandments.
Consider that God's law is theword of God.
When you read this, considerthat that's the word of God.
I held on to your word, o God.
I held on and I kept your word,o God, and it's made me smarter
than all of them.
And this is not in pride.
This is things that he'sthinking within himself.
He says I understand more thanthe ancients.

(26:44):
I keep thy precepts, and weknow that he did, for there was
no sin found in him.
I have refrained, I haverefrained my feet from every
evil way that I might keep thyword.
Let this mind be in you.
That was in Christ Jesus.
I have not departed from thyjudgments, for thou hast taught

(27:07):
me.
Jesus said in John that as myfather hath taught me, so I do.
He said that himself.
Is he so distant that this man,Jesus Christ, did everything as
God?
Well, I can't do that.

(27:32):
It was God, of course God didthat.
This was a man dependent uponGod, and here is his heart,
revealing to you what was soimportant to him.
What did he love?
He loved his word.
He loved his word and no matterwhat, he was going to keep his
word.
And no matter what he was goingto keep his word.
How does a man cleanse his way?

(27:55):
Heed according to his word.
He says how sweet are yourwords?
Unto my taste, they are honeyto my mouth.
He loved his word.
Do we get into the word and sayhow sweet are your words?
Unto my taste, they are honeyto my mouth.
He loved his word.
Do we get into the word and say, oh gosh, I've got to read this

(28:15):
chapter so I can say I read thechapter?
Or are we going to him in asanctified holiness of heart and
say God, I want to hear fromyou, open my eyes to your
scriptures, allow me to loveyour word.
I desire to keep your wordbecause for the born again man,

(28:36):
it is him that worketh for youto will, to want, to desire and
then to do.
The next section of verses isNun in its.
God's law is a lamp and a light.
It says thy word is a lamp untomy feet and a light unto my
path.
I am afflicted very much.

(28:58):
Quicken me, o Lord, accordingunto thy word Also, this man
began to have an understanding.
I am fulfilling the word of God.
My life is fulfilling the wordof God.
Quicken me what, according tothy word, he says teach me thy

(29:26):
judgment.
Have this mind in you that wasalso in Christ Jesus.
To ask him to teach you, hehumbled himself to become
obedient, even unto death.
Listen to what he says.
I don't forget your law.
Yet do I not forget thy law?

(29:46):
In verse 109.
In verse 111.
Thy testimonies have I taken asa heritage forever, for they
are rejoicing of my heart.
It said in verse 110.
The wicked have laid a snarefor me, yet I have not erred
from thy precepts.
Listen to verse 112.
I have inclined my heart.
Let this mind be in you.

(30:07):
That was also in the man ChristJesus.
I inclined my heart to performthy statutes.
I committed my ways to performyour word because I've gotten a
revelation.
You opened up my ears and Iunderstand that I am here to
fulfill your word.
That is my purpose in life tofulfill your word.

(30:35):
In Semech, verse 113,.
God's law is my hiding place.
I hate vain thoughts, but thylaw do I love.
I hope in thy word.
I will keep the commandments ofmy God, uphold me according
unto thy word that I may live, and let me not be ashamed of my

(30:55):
hope.
Hold thou me up and I shall besafe, and I will have respect
unto thy statutes continually.
This is the heart of that manJust pouring himself out to his
God, and you have a glimpse sothat you have an example to
follow.
He says therefore I love thytestimonies, I love them.

(31:22):
The next section, verse 121, Imean I titled it the son of man,
or the son of God loves God'slaws.
He says I have done judgmentand justice.
Leave me not to mine oppressors.
This man is saying I've heldfast to your word.
Don't let me be in the hands ofthose that oppress me, those

(31:44):
that will afflict me.
I opened my mouth, I panted, for I longed for thy
commandments.
Order my steps in thy word.
He understands I am here tofulfill your word and let not
any iniquity have domin.
Fulfill your word and let notany iniquity have dominion over
me.
And he was faithful because noiniquity had dominion over him.

(32:05):
So I will keep thy precepts.
Make thy face to shine upon thyservant and teach me thy
statutes.
In the next section, god's lawis truth.
Zadi Thy testimony.
See, he was on the crossthinking about his testimony.
He says Thy testimonies thatthou hast commanded are

(32:25):
righteous and very faithful.
He put his hope in God.
He put his hope in his word.
He read these things forhimself.
Lord opened up his eyes, hisears to receive them and he held
fast to them.
They were his hope.
He says thy word is very pure.
Therefore thy servant loveth it.

(32:47):
Yet thy commandments are mydelight.
I delight in your commandments.
Let this mind be in you.
That was also in the man, christ Jesus.
And the next section is a cry ofsalvation.
Cough, oh Lord, I will keep thystatutes, it says.

(33:11):
I cried with my whole heart.
Hear me, I hope in thy word.
Quicken me according to thyjudgment, according to thy word,
all thy commandments are truth.
Concerning thy testimonies, Ihave known of old that thou has
founded them forever.
He realizes his word isestablished forever.

(33:34):
He has no considerationwhatsoever to do anything
contrary to his word because herecognizes his word is already
established.
The next section is keepingGod's law in adversity.
He says deliver me, for I donot forget thy law.

(33:56):
Be faithful to me, lord, I havekept thy word and deliver me,
quicken me according.
Forget thy law.
Be faithful to me, lord.
I have kept thy word anddeliver me.
Quicken me according to thyword.
Quicken me according to thystatutes.
Do I not decline from thytestimonies.
Consider how I love thy precept.
Quicken me, o Lord, accordingto thy loving kindness.
Thy word is true from thebeginning and every one of thy

(34:17):
righteous judgments endurethforever and there is peace in
keeping God's law.
My heart standeth in awe at thyword.
How about you?
Let that mind be in you, because in the man, christ Jesus
, he was in awe of his word.

(34:37):
My heart stand was in awe ofhis word.
My heart standeth in awe.
But thy law do I love.
Great peace have they whichlove thy law, and nothing,
nothing shall offend them.
I hoped in thy salvation anddone thy commandments.
My soul hath kept thytestimonies.

(34:58):
I love them exceedingly.
I have kept.
My soul hath kept thytestimonies.
I love them exceedingly.
I have kept thy precepts andthy testimonies, and the last
section.
There is peace forunderstanding.
He says let my supplicationcome before thee.
Deliver me according to thyword.
My tongue shall speak of thyword, for all thy commandments

(35:20):
are righteous.
I have chosen thy precepts andthy law is my delight.
Consider when you read Psalm 19,.
To have that mind be in you.
He read the scriptures.
He only had the Old Testamentscriptures and they were made
alive to him.
They were opened unto him.

(35:40):
He realized I am here tofulfill his word.
And later on he then opened thescriptures.
He opened the scriptures to who?
The disciples, because they didnot understand that all the
things that were spoken ofthrough the prophets needed to
be fulfilled.

(36:00):
Think about Psalm 111.10.
The fear of the Lord is thebeginning of wisdom.
A good understanding have allthey that do His commandments.
Consider in Proverbs the fearof the Lord is the beginning of
knowledge.
Fearing the Lord is to departfrom evil.
It also says in Proverbs Fearof the Lord, men will depart

(36:23):
from evil.
This man, jesus Christ, had afear of the Lord and he departed
from evil because he inclinedhis heart toward loving his law
and keeping it.
Consider Psalm 86, 11 through17.

(36:45):
Consider that these are not thewords of David himself or
whatever the psalmist was, butconsider that the spirit of
Christ injected himself throughthese words, For it says teach
me thy way, o Lord.
I will walk in thy truth.
Unite my heart to fear thy name.

(37:07):
I believe these scriptures areopening up the very prayers of
this man, the very prayers ofthis man unto his God, for great
is thy mercy toward me.
Thou hast delivered my soulfrom the lowest hell.
O God, the proud are risenagainst me, and the assemblies

(37:28):
of the violent men have soughtafter my soul and have not set
thee before thee.
But thou, o Lord, art a Godfull of compassion and gracious,
longsuffering and plenteous inmercy and truth.
Turn unto me, have mercy uponme, give thy strength unto thy
servant.
Can you imagine if that was hisprayer in the Garden of
Gethsemane, when the discipleswere sleeping and he ended up

(37:51):
saying, not my will but thine bedone?
There was no doubt that thatman needed strength.
He was grievous almost untodeath on the Garden of
Gethsemane that night, and hereis this man crying out Shew me a

(38:16):
token for good.
It says in verse 17 that theywhich hate me may see it.
Did not Jesus become a tokenand a sign unto everyone when he
hung on that cross lifted upupon the earth?
Because thou, o Lord, has hopein me and comforted me?
So I say here our life mustconform to His Word.

(38:40):
It must, it must conform to HisWord.
There are prophecies that speakof His destiny In Isaiah 11,
there shall come forth a rod outof the stem of Jesse and a
branch shall grow out of hisroots, and the Spirit of the
Lord shall rest upon him, theSpirit of wisdom and
understanding, of counsel andmight.

(39:01):
These are all prophetic of whatwas going to be upon this man,
but all the other scriptures arethe heart of that man Revealed
unto us.
He says in Isaiah 42, behold myservant, whom I uphold.
God is responding.
I uphold my servant, mine elect.
My soul delights in him.

(39:23):
I have put my spirit upon him.
He shall bring forth judgmentto the Gentiles and he shall not
cry nor lift up or nor causehis voice to be heard in the
street.
Jesus was the fulfillment ofthis word.
Thus said the Lord God, that hecreated the heavens and

(39:44):
stretched them out, that hespread forth the earth which
cometh out of it.
He that giveth breath unto thepeople upon it and spirit to
them that walk therein.
I, the Lord, have called theein righteousness and I will hold
thine hand and will keep theeand give thee for a covenant for
the people.
He's responding to that man'scry and giving him a promise of

(40:09):
his word.
I will uphold thee, I will keepthee, I will not fail thee.
You will be a covenant unto thepeople, a light unto the
Gentiles To open the blind eyes,to bring out the prisoners from
the prison and them that sit inthe darkness.
And isn't that the samescripture in Isaiah 61, that

(40:33):
Jesus himself read in the templewhen he began his ministry?
The Spirit of Lord God, is uponme, because the Lord hath
anointed me to preach goodtidings unto the meek.
He has sent me to bind up thebroken hearted, to proclaim
liberty to the captives and theopening of the prison to them
that are bound.
Is that not the words he spokein the temple?
And he said this day it isfulfilled.

(40:53):
He's constantly fulfillingGod's word, and he does it on
purpose.
He's willing to do that, tocommit his life, to sacrifice
his will, to do that whichpleases the Lord.

(41:13):
Consider, in Psalm 16, verse 8,that these are the cries of the
man Jesus Christ.
He said I have set the Lordalways before me.
Because he is at my right hand,I shall not be moved.
You think?
Well, that's just David.
Therefore, my heart is glad andmy glory rejoices.
My flesh shall also rest inhope, for thou will not leave my

(41:35):
soul in hell.
Neither will thou suffer thineHoly One, to see corruption.
Thou will show me the path oflife.
In thy presence is fullness ofjoy.
At thy right hand, there arepleasures forevermore.
Poetically beautiful words ofDavid.
And if that's all we see, thenwe are seeing it carnally.
For even Peter had therevelation.
For he says on the day ofPentecost, in Acts 2, verse 25.

(41:59):
He says hey, David spoke.
Concerning this man, Jesus, whoI am preaching to you of.
He said I foresaw the Lordalways before my face.
He's quoting Isaiah.
He says for he is on my righthand and I shall not be moved,
excuse me.
He's quoting David in thePsalms.
He says, therefore, did myheart rejoice and my tongue was
glad.
Moreover, also my flesh shallrest in hope, because thou will

(42:21):
not leave my soul in hell.
Neither will thou suffer, thineHoly One, to see corruption.
Thou hast made me known to methe ways of life.
Thou shalt make me full of joywith thy countenance, and he
stops.
He says hey, david spoke ofthis, and we thought it was
David.
But men and brethren, he sayslet me tell you our patriarch

(42:43):
David, he's dead.
How does that apply to himBecause he's dead, he's buried,
he's in that sepulcher, overthere in the kings, with the
rest of the kings.
Therefore, being a prophet, hesays, and knowing that God had
sworn with an oath to him, thatof the fruit of his loins,
according to the prophet, hesays, and knowing that God had
sworn with an oath to him, thatof the fruit of his loins,

(43:04):
according to the flesh, he wouldraise up Christ to sit on the
throne.
That word was for Christ, thatword was for that man, so that
he would understand.
Oh my God, you're calling me tothis.
Not my will, lord, but thine bedone.
So be it, because I have yourword.

(43:27):
You will raise me up, you willnot let me see corruption, you
will not let the enemy have thefinal say.
Even Peter had the revelation.
The scriptures were open to him.
It says he, seeing this beforespake of the resurrection of

(43:47):
Christ, that his soul was notleft in hell.
Neither did his flesh seecorruption.
This Jesus hath God raised up,whereof we are all witnesses.
So what was his purpose here,he said?
In Matthew 26, jesus said how, then, shall the scriptures be

(44:10):
fulfilled?
That thus it must be.
In that same hour, said Jesusto the multitudes are you come
out against a thief with swordsand stays for you to take me?
I sat daily with you in theswords and stays for you to take
me.
I sat daily with you in thetemple and he laid hold, not
upon me, but all this was donethat the scriptures of the

(44:31):
prophets might be fulfilled.
It's all according to his word, and if you want to be contrary
to His Word, then he's also gota word for that too.
It says in Luke 24, 27,.
When Jesus was speaking to Hisprophets, they described Him as

(44:54):
and Jesus, from the beginning ofMoses and through all the
prophets, expounded unto them inall the scriptures, the things
concerning Himself.
There are a whole lot ofscriptures out there through the
prophets that are actuallyconcerning Christ, and I just
read a bulk of them to you togive you the idea.
Maybe it'll open up the creaseof revelation for you to realize

(45:21):
what you have at yourfingertips if you receive the
revelation.
And they said to one another,as they were walking through the
Emmaus Road did not a heartburn within us while he talked
with us?
By the way, while he openedunto us the scriptures, did not

(45:46):
the man Jesus, through the otherprophetic words he opened up my
ears to hear.
He said in Luke 24, these arethe words which I spake unto you
while I was yet with you, thatall things must be fulfilled
that were written in the law ofMoses, in the prophets and in
the Psalms.

(46:06):
Concerning me, that was me he'ssaying that was about me, but
it was also me speaking throughthem.
Paul said to the Corinthians Idelivered unto you first of all,
which I also received, howChrist died for our sins,
according to the scriptures, andthat he rose again on the third

(46:32):
day, according to thescriptures.
Consider Psalm 40.
Let this mind be in you.
That was also in Christ.
Jesus Then said I lo, I come inthe volume of the book.
It is written of me.

(46:55):
I delight to do thy will, oh myGod, yea, thy law is within my
heart.
This is a glimpse of this manand how he loved the Lord.
He delighted to do his will, even unto death.
I have preached righteousnessin the congregation, lo, I have

(47:19):
not refrained my lips, o Lord, thou knowest, I have not hid Thy
righteousness within my heart.
I declared it.
I declared Thy faithfulness andThy salvation.
I have not concealed Thy lovingkindness and Thy truth from the
great congregation.
Don't withhold from me Thytender mercies, o Lord.
Let Thy loving kindness and Thytruth continually preserve me.

(47:49):
If this man was capable of doingthese things as a man, he was
the son of man.
He was the son of God.
Does he not call us the son ofman?
Did he not call Ezekiel?
He never called Ezekiel Ezekiel.
Every time he spoke to Ezekielhe said son of man, son of man,

(48:15):
all throughout the chapter.
Son of man, prophetic.
Does he not call us they thatare led by the Spirit are the
sons of God?
He was the blueprint, theprototype.
He blazed the trail that we areto follow if we conform our
life according to his word.

(48:44):
And it is no easy, simplesacrifice.
For he says if any man come tome and hate not his father and
his mother and his wife and hischildren and his brothers and
his sisters, yea, even his ownlife, he cannot be my disciple.
He cannot.
And whosoever doth not bear hiscross and come after me cannot

(49:07):
be my disciple.
So, likewise, whosoever he beof you that forsaketh not all
that he hath, he cannot be mydisciple.
Don't put aside those words.
They carry great weight andgravity.

(49:32):
You can't just say well, I'mjust going to give you a part of
this, but not, don't touch this.
He's all or nothing.
Whether you like it or not, whether you think it's fair or
not, he wants all of your heartand the man, Jesus Christ, was
willing to give all of him forthe service of his God.

(49:54):
Which of you intended to builda tower?
Doesn't sit down first andcounts the cost.
You want to be a disciple ofChrist?
You want to call yourself areal and true Christian?

(50:15):
Count the cost, because it'sgoing to take every ounce of
your life, of your heart, ofwhat's important to you.
You have to be willing.
Hear what I'm saying.
You have to be willing tosacrifice it all in order to

(50:41):
have Him.
It says in a parable or in astory that a man found a pearl
of great price in a land and heput it back in the land and then
he sold everything that he hadso he can have that land, and by
having that land, he then hasthe pearl of great price.
You have to be willing to sellit all.
Abraham had a promise His sonIsaac, and he had to be willing

(51:09):
to sacrifice the promised son.
And then he found out the Lordhimself will provide the
sacrifice, but he had to bewilling.
You must be willing tosacrifice what is so had to be
willing.
You must be willing tosacrifice what is so important
to you, to have what's moreimportant than anything else in

(51:31):
this life.
That is the word of the Lordfor today.
Consider the words and let thismind be in you.
That was also in the man, christ Jesus.
