I’ve stated many times that all of us have gifts that we can use to help others who are having challenges to their hope.  Sometimes we think we have to do great and wonderful things or have special knowledge and skills.  And yet, more often it is the seemingly small or insignificant things that mean the most.

In this episode I am speaking with Lorraine Smith about her ministry of sending out cards of encouragement to those beginning their walk of faith.  It might not seem grand and glorious but it is very effective.  Most of all, she is allowing God’s power to work through her and those helping her in this ministry.

I invite you to listen to this episode.  Listen to the love and passion in her voice as she describes her ministry and its impact.  A large take-away from this is that each of us can and must use what is in our hands to help others

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
