It is right on that.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
It is.
It is.
Speaking of which, update forYouTube podcast.
We have no update.
No.
So hopefully, we've got somestuff coming up in August of
this year.
We're gonna be traveling anddoing some stuff.
But hopefully afterwards, wewill have an opportunity to
hopefully have a nice recordingstudio that is not this living

(03:54):

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Two hours of your life.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Enthusiast.
I don't think this episode willbe two hours.
It's it's a lot lessinformation.
Let's go around.
Plus in two hours, we'll haveto leave for work.
So without further ado, we'regonna go ahead and jump into our
pre showed topic.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Oh, pre show topic music.
Gosh, I've missed you.
Well, this week, UniversalStudios has finally announced
the opening of the newly themeland that is replacing the Woody
Woodpecker's kid zone.
What do you look at what do youThis is too early in the
morning for this.
Now, Woody Woodpecker's coasterclosed January fifteenth, and

(05:16):
it decided they decided to closeit to make way for a newly
imagined land called DreamWorksland.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Of twenty twenty three.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
Of twenty.

Speaker 3 (05:23):
So over a year ago Yeah.
Not, like, three months ago.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
Did I say twenty twenty four?

Speaker 3 (05:28):
No.
You just said January fifteenth.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
Oh, my bad.
My my apologies, guys.
The mimosas are getting to mybrain this morning.
But you're gonna get ready toplay in a colorful, imaginative,
new land at Universal, whereyou get to meet Shrek and
splashing a swamp, you get toscream with laughter on the new
trolley coaster And you had tolearn kung fu moves with Po from
kung fu panda.

Speaker 3 (05:50):
Troller coaster.

Speaker 2 (05:51):
What did I call it?

Speaker 3 (05:52):
A trolley coaster.
Climb slide and splash throughShrek's playground and Shrek's
swamp with four little oggers.
Play in Panda Village at PostKung Fu Training Camp and create
a melody at King Harold's swapsymphony or let your little ones
wonder in Poppy's playground.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
You get to hop on the caterpillar counter bus on the
fame on this family friendlycoaster.
You'll join poppy, tiny, andthe twins, satin and Chanel.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Sure.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Okay.
As you try to make an escapefrom spooky spiders.

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Spooky spiders.
That was very treasuriessounding and I didn't like that.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
There you can bear me there.
I hate you.

Speaker 3 (06:33):
So the troller coaster is the original coaster
that was in Woody Woodpecker'swhen it closed.
I think it move did itphysically move locations?
Like, did they tear it all downand then move it, like, fifteen
or twenty feet over and then

Speaker 2 (06:45):
put it

Speaker 3 (06:46):
back together?

Speaker 2 (06:46):
I think so, but I don't know for sure.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
I don't know.
I I think they did, but I'm notsure.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
But I know they definitely tore it down because
it was not there anymore.
And this isn't like an it's notlike reimagined.
This is brand new.
Like, the coasters brand new.

Speaker 3 (06:58):
I was writing this no .
No.
No.
It's the exact same coaster.
They just it's a new paint joband new theming.
Same coaster, though.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
Yeah.
But I think they I thought they, like, fixed a couple things on
it too, though.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
I mean, I'm sure they did, but They had to.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
The white pickers was real

Speaker 3 (07:12):
So one of the key highlights about this and
something that everyone is superexcited for is, as you know,
Shrek four d experience wasreplaced by villain Khan, minion
blast.
And

Speaker 2 (07:25):
I missed Shrek four d .
It was so good.

Speaker 3 (07:27):
So Shrek then moved over

Speaker 2 (07:30):
He screwed it up.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
To yeah.
He screwed it over, and thenthey were evicted yet again.

Speaker 2 (07:35):
Bye bye.

Speaker 3 (07:35):
Bye.
Minions.
More men Yet again.
So Shrek and Fiona and Donkeyhave been on a bit of a hiatus,
but I think the most amazingthing about this and the thing
that everyone's most excited foris they have fully recreated
Shrek's cottage in the swamp.
Yes.
And it's right in front of theentrance to ET, like directly in
front of it so you get to seethe Shrek swap house or cottage

(07:59):
but is what people have beencalling in on social media.
Cottage but because

Speaker 2 (08:02):
it's like a booty.

Speaker 3 (08:03):
You can see it over the the construction fence.
But you're gonna have a fullmeet and great yet again with
donkey, fionna, and Shrek.
I'm interested to see what thismight mean for donkey.
Because he's always been in awall like the doors open up and
you see donkey there.
So he has to be.
I'm excited for that.
So who knows?
But a couple of the things thatUniversal has confirmed, we
know that there's still more tocome that they haven't talked

(08:25):
about yet, is swap snacks

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Mhmm.

Speaker 3 (08:28):
Which will be obviously a Shrek interpretation
of some snacks and goodies thatyou can

Speaker 2 (08:32):
get.
Do you think that stopmanifesting that we're gonna get
some sort of earwax, candle,something.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
Maybe.
Do you remember Or the, like, the little bugs that he eats

Speaker 2 (08:43):
get out of here.
It's like

Speaker 3 (08:44):
a jelly snack or something.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Out of here.

Speaker 3 (08:46):
That'd be really fun.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
I need an earwax candle, like gummy popsicle ice
cream, something.

Speaker 3 (08:53):
I'm here for it.
Yeah.
Another truck to serve it to meafter

Speaker 2 (08:56):
he pulls it out of his ears.

Speaker 3 (08:57):
He will go.
Another option for food thatyou guys have is going to be
trolls treats.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (09:05):
So I'm excited for that one.
I've heard a lot of good things.
Nothing we can confirm thoughbecause it's and official from
Universal, but if the rumors aretrue, some of that stuff sounds
really cool and

Speaker 2 (09:14):
really good.
Very excited for it.
I'm also really excited for themerch that's coming this way.
So we're getting a high five,high delays.
And I've heard this is kind ofa mixture of everything.
All of all of the differentdream work link, like, the
different dream works that aregonna be inside this.
So I think that's gonna bereally neat.
We're also going to get Mauwenafeline Fiesta.
So this is gonna be a pros andcons concept.

(09:37):
From pros and cons.
To

Speaker 3 (09:39):
And I was reading this up online.
It says that there'sinteractive screens and then
ways to interact with it as well.
So I I don't know if it's, like, You get to play with cats or
what's happening?
You could.

Speaker 2 (09:54):
Do you think Bruce is gonna come home with a brother
or sister?

Speaker 3 (09:57):
I don't know.
Maybe.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
But Bruce, do you want a brother or sister?
I don't think so.

Speaker 3 (10:01):
Nope.
But I'm interested to see howthat works.
Another really fun thing isthere we're gonna get a new
entertainment offering with thisDreamWorks' Imagination
Celebration, which I'm told willbe a live action stage show.
With some of our favoriteDreamWorks characters.
And we will see the return ofmore character meet and greets

(10:24):
with the Dreamark's characterzone.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
I'm really excited.
I hope that means that we'regonna get the Trollback, that
poops fart.
That fart's clutter.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Clitter.
Isn't that one?

Speaker 2 (10:33):
Isn't that tiny?

Speaker 3 (10:34):
No.
Isn't it?
Poppy.
Poppy.
Poppy.
Which puppy gets her ownplayground?

Speaker 2 (10:40):
I know.
But I need her to, like, fartsome glitter on people because
that, like, literally made myentire entire day.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
I've never seen that movie.

Speaker 2 (10:47):
I don't need to see the movie.
It's so cool to me that sheliterally just goes, Gutter.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
God bless.
So we know that there are stillmore things to come because we
know that there are moreDreamWorks characters in and
around.
So I'm excited for it.
I'm hoping that we get theramen from kung fu panda.
I don't know if we're going to.
They haven't said anythingabout it.
So if do, that one is gonna bea big surprise.
But we will find out all ofthis starting June fourteenth of

(11:18):
twenty twenty four, which isjust a little over a month and I
believe ten days away.

Speaker 2 (11:25):
That's so I'm so excited.
But don't worry.
Stay tuned with all of us wewill keep you guys updated as
much as we know and go fromthere.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Are you ready?

Speaker 2 (11:34):
I'm beyond ready.
Let's do it.
Alright.

Speaker 3 (12:24):
At Super Nintendo World, you'll experience a new
way to play from challengingBowser on Mario Kart Bowser's
challenge to venturing throughdonkey kong country and so much
more.
This was the first landconfirmed at the new park, but
it's been the third to revealany details.
Now this will be the thirdsuper Nintendo world that
Universal has brought to lifewith Universal Japan being the

(12:46):
first and Universal StudiosHollywood being the second.
You'll enter into an NintendoWorld through the iconic green
pipe.
While inside, you'll takeescalators up and be met by
sweeping views on the mezzanineof what universal is calling the
most themed and interactiveland that they have ever created
.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
Now, you need to use your power up bands are one of
the coolest experiences inNewland is of this new land.

Speaker 3 (13:11):
You got this.
Use the power of music.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
One of the coolest experience of this new land is
guests will have the opportunityto boost their fun with power
of bands.
Now throughout this land, youwill you could test your
quickness, skills, and timingwith a variety of interactive
challenges.
If you're wearing a power upband, you can collect your
digital key each time you winone of the interactive
challenges throughout the land.
Gathering enough of these keysand you'll be able to lock the

(13:38):
Bowser's junior shadow showdown.
And guests will be able tracktheir score and see where they
rank in the games with otherguests on the park.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
So some of the challenges that you'll see
throughout this land is gonna beyou're gonna have to bear with
us on this one.
Goomba crazy crank where youturn a crank to make the ground
spin fast enough to make aGoomba fall backwards.

Speaker 2 (13:59):
You also have the piranha plant plant nap mishap.
And you're gonna run back andforth tapping multiple iron
alarm clocks to put huge piranhaplants back to sleep.

Speaker 3 (14:09):
And then there is the cupa trupa pao or punch.
Is that how you say that pao orhow tell Universal spelled it,
capital p o w, lowercase star.
Where?
You hit the pow block withperfect timing to send a Koopa
shell.
Up the pipe and knock over theCoupa Coupa.
That sounds like an Amazon.
Coupa Coupa shells are gonnafight.

Speaker 2 (14:35):
I hate us too, guys.
Don't worry.
Bam.
Wait.
Bam.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Bam.
It's Baboom.
Baboom.
Baboom.
Baboom.

Speaker 2 (14:46):
Baboom.
Kumba?
Kaboom.
No.
Kaboom.
Room.
Where you are gonna gatherfragments of a key from around
the room to assemble them or thegiant boom goes kaboom.
Wow.
Super nintended.
That is it for making a sound

Speaker 3 (15:04):
That's the little the little bombs that walk around.
The little the bottle of bombs.
Yep.
And then the last puzzle thatyou have is going to be the
thromp panel panic.
So the question to this one is,are you fast enough?
You will try to flip every tileon the wall to be the same
color to win the digital key.

(15:24):
Now, so that's a total of one, two, three, four, five.
So you have a total of fivegames.
So you have the ability to felltwo of those and still win a
key for the Bowser junior Shadow.
Show down.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yes.
Because if you collect at leastthree keys of your band, you'll
get a chance to confront Bauerjunior to recover the stolen
golden mushroom in a final showshadow showdown.
Now they recommend that thesegames are about kids for ages
five and up, so literallyeverybody can play.

Speaker 3 (15:54):
Mhmm.
And then a couple of things tonotate with this is bands are
sold separately and valid parkadmission is required to
participate in this.
And the current universalwebsite shows eight different
band designs, and some of theminclude Mario Luigi, Princess
Peach, and donkey kong, and Didikong, and there's

Speaker 2 (16:14):
Which one did you get ?

Speaker 3 (16:16):
Which one am I gonna get?
Yeah.
I don't have one yet.
Sorry.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Which one

Speaker 3 (16:19):
am I

Speaker 2 (16:19):
gonna get?

Speaker 3 (16:20):
I don't know.
Like, I part of me is, like,Mario Kart would or Mario would
be cool, but I am more of adonkey kong fan than a Mario fan
, so I would probably get donkeykong or did it come.
Also, I love that his name isDidicom.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
So, yeah, I'd probably get either Mario and
Luigi because I definitely grewup playing those games.
More than I did, Donkey Kong.

Speaker 3 (16:39):
You wanna talk about one of the newest and funnest
attractions that everyone islooking forward to?

Speaker 2 (16:45):
Absolutely.
So Mario Kart bouser challenge.
Here we go.
On Mario Kart, Bowser championchallenge, you'll put on your
special goggles and steerthrough your iconic courses
alongside Mario, Luigi, andprincess peach.
In this interactive ride, youcollect digital coins and throw
shelves to try to defeat TeamBowser and win the Golden Cup.

(17:06):
With multiple outcomes, it's adifferent experience each time
you ride, which I think is socool.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
So I didn't learn about this until I watch the
actual video that UniversalCreative released with this.
I knew that it was some form ofaugmented reality, but I didn't
realize because you're in aright vehicle with other guests.
So I was like, well, you can'tturn left and right and do all
these things separately.
It's the right vehicle.
But so this right type is athree d four d motion based

(17:32):
simulation with augmentedreality goggles.
So this means that while you'resitting in the car, You can see
all of the scenery in front ofyou.
You can see everything that isin real life.

Speaker 2 (17:43):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (17:43):
But what you see on your goggles is augmented
reality based solely on you asan individual person.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Correct.

Speaker 3 (17:52):
So you are gonna have your own race and I'm gonna
have my own race alongside you.
So our outcomes can bedifferent and every time you
ride this attraction, it's gonnabe different because you are
actually playing Mario Kart.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Yeah.
But live.
Now the net requirement forthis is a minimum of forty two
inches and a supervisingcompanion needs to be under
forty eight inches in order tobe right with those people.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
And since Ashley never does this because she
hates Europeans, obviously, thatis a hundred and seven
centimeters tall to ride.
And a hundred and twenty twocentimeters.
Between a hundred and seven anda hundred and twenty two, you
are required to have that supersizing

Speaker 2 (18:30):
don't hate your opinions for the record.
I just you guys seem to get onthe metric system.
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Now, this next ride is an interesting one believe
it's an omnimover attraction, sosimilar to that of a haunted
mansion Mhmm.
Walt Disney World.
You take a ride with Yoshi andyou search for three glowing
eggs in the enchanting familyfriendly attraction.
On Yoshi's adventure, you willweave your way through the
iconic mushroom kingdomlandscapes, encountering many

(18:57):
familiar characters and spottinghidden colored eggs along your
journey.
So again, this is yet againanother interactive ride that
you're not just riding, butyou're actually participating in
this pardon this really cornyjoke, Easter egg hunt.
Because you're literally on thehunt

Speaker 2 (19:13):
for eggs.
Gosh.
Where's our iPad when we needit?

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Charging because I'm horrible.
So for this attraction, theminimum height requirement is
thirty six inches or ninety twocentimeters and guess between
ninety two excuse me, guessbetween thirty six inches and
forty eight inches do require asupervising companion or ninety
two centimeters to a hundred andtwenty two centimeters.
You do have to have thatsupervising companion and this
is a kit friendly family styleattraction.

Speaker 2 (19:38):
Yes, it is.
This is what I'm most excitedfor.
As we all know, I'm a bigfoodie, massive one.
So this I cannot wait for him.
Tod's still cafe.
You are going to fuel up whereyou can watch chef toad, cook up
some of his favorite recipesand see colorful scenes.
Of the mushroom kingdom throughthe windows.
Now you're gonna enjoy tastingcreations prepared daily, which

(20:00):
include soups, salads, sandwiches, and as well as
delicious entrees and delectabledesserts.
This is gonna be a quickservice.
The menu details have yet tocome out yet, but The big thing
that I saw on here that you sawas well was that this was
massively highlighted as healthyoptions like, bold in black

(20:21):
ready to go Mhmm.
For you as soon as you couldtype in on this.
So I'm very excited for this.
Like, I cannot wait.
I'm hoping that we're gonna get, like, some sort of, like,
toadstool, toad sandwich,something.

Speaker 3 (20:33):
Now I know with this being the third Super Nintendo
world.
We've seen two other toadstoolcafes around the world.
I will say the one in Japan, tome, looks a superb.
Oh.
Because the Japanese always doan amazing job when it comes to
food, and their culturedefinitely pours into that.
Their tolled still cafes havesome amazing food.

(20:54):
We have a friend right now,Jordan, who is over in Hollywood
at Universal Studios.
I'm sure actually, I think wegot photos yesterday of him at
Ted Stolt Cafe with me.
I'm sure we'll get more.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
I know that his biggest thing is that he's a
really big fan of theirsandwiches that are there.
This is, like, I wanna say hissecond time going this.
Excuse me.

Speaker 3 (21:15):
Ma'am, is that coming up the wrong way?

Speaker 2 (21:16):
Yeah.
It is.
It is the second time going tothis two toed stools, and he
gets the same sandwich everysingle time.
It's that good.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
I'm yeah.
I'm I'm really excited for thisone.
Now,

Speaker 2 (21:28):
very excited.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
One of the great things about this land, and
personally, my absolute favoriteabout this land, is that
there's actually a secondsmaller land located within this
one.
So we're getting like a bonusland here.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
So guests will be able to enter into donkey kong
which is a completely separatelandscape from Super Nintendo
World according to SusanCummings, who is the assistant
director and executive producerof Universal Creative.
In this land.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
What a title, by the way?

Speaker 3 (21:57):
I know right.

Speaker 2 (21:58):
What's the name?
I Praise.
That's awesome.

Speaker 3 (22:02):
And you should see the video.
She's got this cute littlemushroom coffee cup set beside
her, and I was like, I was like,yes, a

Speaker 2 (22:07):
bit.
Slay.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Slay.
Girlly pop.
She's girly pop.

Speaker 2 (22:10):
Girl bawson in.
Yes.
I'm here for

Speaker 3 (22:14):
So the thing that I'm most excited about about this.
I'm excited about all of it,but the most excited is
Universal has created a brandnew state of the art mind that
will make guests feel like theyare literally jumping off of
their rails on a mine car.

Speaker 2 (22:28):
I'm excited.
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
It's called minecart madness.

Speaker 2 (22:32):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (22:33):
Tell us about it.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
Do you do you wanna talk about

Speaker 3 (22:35):
it?
Sure.
I'll do I'll do I'll do thething, and then you can do you
can do the right stuff.
Okay.
So It's up to you to helpdonkey kong protect the golden
banana

Speaker 2 (22:44):
on mine cart madness.
I just want to paint thispicture for everybody right now
that you were, like, hunchedover, all excited about to eat
your microphone, literallygetting ready to talk to us
about this.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Yes.
Also, as a doctor who fan, Ialso find there's not a hidden
meaning in here, but I'm findinga hidden meaning in here
because doctor who, bananas, ifyou know, you know.
So you enter the majesticGolden Temple and you board your
mind car and you take off onthis thrilling family coaster,
speeding through the mind, you'll appear to jump across
gaps in the track.
And perform other eye poppingfeatures from the donkey kong

(23:18):
country video game.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
How cool does that sound?

Speaker 3 (23:23):
This ride literally looks like the most amazing
thing.
And the thing that I like aboutit is I don't know the ride
manufacturer.
I don't know if it's an inhouse universal creation or what
, but it looks as though themine carts only sit for people
at a time.
Mhmm.
So it's gonna be I imagineseveral mini blocks.
So there's gonna be severalcars.

(23:43):
Mine cars rolling at the sametime.
So it's like a I don't know.
But it looks really cool andyou get shot out of a can a
barrel just like you do in thevideo game.
It's gonna be so much fun.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Oh my goodness.
If we ever lose us, then weknow where to find him, guys.
Now this ride is going to be avery thorough ride, obviously.
And the height requirement isgonna be a minimum of thirty
inches.
And, yes, from a Europeanfriends, it's ninety two
centimeters.

Speaker 3 (24:05):
Good job.

Speaker 2 (24:05):
Now, you do require a supervising companion required
for children under the under theheight requirement of forty
eight centimeters, and they mustbe accompanied for

Speaker 3 (24:13):
Forty eight inches.

Speaker 2 (24:14):
Sorry.
Forty eight inches must beaccompanied by a supervising
companion.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
A hundred and twenty two centimeters.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
So proud of you.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
I didn't put that one in the note for you, so I
figured I'd

Speaker 2 (24:23):
be disappointed.
Now those handheld infants, unfortunately, are not permitted
.
However, I'm assuming thatUniversal is gonna do their
parents swap than they do forall other rides.
That would that's all I got.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
Yeah.
That's I I said this one wasgonna be a quick episode.
Universal have kept a lot in inwraps.
We know, you know, based onwork permits and things that
we've seen in the past in ourprevious episode that rumored,
there will be more things to do,more dining options, stuff like
that.
But nothing that Universal hasconfirmed.

(24:57):
And like I said, this late inthe game, wanna ensure that
we're not giving you guys anykind of misinformation.
So if

Speaker 2 (25:03):
So can we talk about one thing, though?
Have you driven past it yet?
When was left semi driven inPacific?

Speaker 3 (25:08):
So I only drive across the back end when I'm
going to and from your work.
So I am only seeing he Leo'sgrand.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
Have you that's what I wanna talk about.
Have you seen it lately?
What was the last time you sawit?
Last week when I took it offDid they have the Golden Dome
yet?

Speaker 3 (25:26):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
They put the gold I I drove past it yesterday, and
they have the Golden Dome up.
And it is beautiful.

Speaker 3 (25:32):
You know what makes me the saddest about that?
Mhmm.
The only thing that they'veconfirmed about Helios grand is
its name.
That is it.
I think that's

Speaker 2 (25:40):
good though.
They need to keep some sort ofit like, you know what it's
giving me?
It's giving me likeCinderella's Caso vibes.
Like, It's gonna be

Speaker 3 (25:49):
Oh, it's giving me soup

Speaker 2 (25:50):
It's gonna be very quiet.
It's gonna be like hush-hush.
I bet you you can stay in thatgolden ball or there's I I'm
envisioning that there's eithera restaurant inside that Golden
Ball or that that's like thegrandest room is in the

Speaker 3 (26:05):
I have heard and this is the only speculation that
I'll say, and I'm not confirmingor denying anything.
This is just what I've heard onthe Internet.
I've heard that the top floorof that resort is the amenities
level.
So that is where the bar is.
And I think there was someleaked leaked pictures and stuff
back when Tara Luna and StellaNova were announced that showed
the bar being in the dome.

(26:26):
Oh.
But again, we're not gonna knowthat until universal officially
.
No.
No.

Speaker 2 (26:30):
If that's the case, Okay.
Let's let's work down this pathreal quick.
If Universal decides thatthat's the case here and they
have this golden this if you ifyou live in Orlando and you are
able to drive past epic.
I would do so.
So then you can see this goldenI wanna say golden ball, but
it's it's like a cylinder thatthat dome.
Drive past it.
It's very impressive to look ateven in their pre construction

(26:51):
era that it is right now.
It is so very impressive.
Okay.
So you're staying at this hostthis resort.
It's beautiful.
It's grand.
And you go upstairs to have acocktail.
And then the fireworks go offor a water show or a drone show
or whatever

Speaker 3 (27:09):
star dust.
Star dust tracers.

Speaker 2 (27:12):
Star dust racers or whatever it is.
That's what you get to see atnight.

Speaker 3 (27:16):
Oh.
It'd be gorgeous.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
Ugh.
Can you imagine?
Like I say, my universal feelswhen they had the water show
that studios had Like, I wouldget in my fields.
It's the same way you get, like, after watching at

Speaker 3 (27:28):
this time.
Which which cause coming back,a brand new water show this
summer in June, I think, Yes.
I think it can't wait becauseFourteen or fifty.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
I, like, get tears in my eyes at an end of night show
.

Speaker 3 (27:39):
And a new Hogwarts show.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
Oh, I know I saw that .
I'm very much excited for that.
But, like, I am one of thosepeople that gets like, I tear up
.
I get very emotional.
I'm like, I wrote the moviesand I hung out with these people
.
Can you imagine what people aregonna be like?
I'm gonna be a babbling brookof just emotions

Speaker 3 (27:56):
sitting up there.
This kind of goes in into playI'm actually glad you touched on
this because this is somethingthat it means a lot to me when
it comes to hospitality.
Yes.
So, like, when we go to Disney, don't watch the fireworks show
or usually run into rollercoasters and rides because the
lines are short during that time.
But when that grand music playsand, you know, this is all
music that are underscores formovies

Speaker 2 (28:19):
that we were up with.

Speaker 3 (28:20):
Yes.
And in those moments, eventhough I'm rushing to a ride or
something, I am a lot more selfaware of what's happening around
me.

Speaker 2 (28:30):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
And I see those family units huddled together on
the side of the sidewalk.
And they're I know.
And, you know, they're watchingand you see the smiles on their
faces and you see theexcitement.
And that's when it it clickswith me.
And then I realized that for agood amount of these families,
this is

Speaker 2 (28:49):
a vacation of a once in a lifetime.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
It's a vacation of once in a lifetime.
It may be the final vacationwith a terminally ill family
member.
All of these peoples are makingcore memories.
That are going to last them alifetime.
I think And then it reminds meexactly why I work in this
industry and my ability.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
And I was just gonna say that literally the reason
why we do this.
Like, I think all of us decidedthat this is the place we
wanted to grow up and livebecause at one point, that did
it for us.
I mean, I remember going toDisney World.
I'm going to I I I didn't growup with Universal.
I grew up with Disney.
So when I when we went to there, when we would go to the park,
and we would finish the daywatching well, at that time, it

(29:31):
was wishes.
And we're watching wishes.
And we had popcorn fingers andchukka ice cream faces and
sitting on top of dad'sshoulders or, you know, chilling
in the stroller and that washow we ended the night.
So as a kid, that probably somuch joy.
And now as an adult, they dothe same like, it does the same

(29:52):
thing, but it's a different joynow because you get to play a
factor in those in otherpeople's choice.
And I think that's why we alldo what we do and why we love it
so much.
What a what a rant we just wenton I'm kinda here for it though
.

Speaker 3 (30:06):
I mean, it's a fun rat.
You gotta love it.
It's like

Speaker 2 (30:08):
But I I can't wait to to experience a whole new land
in a whole new world and a wholenew park with Universal because
I I got to I got to seeUniversal grow when I got to go
as an adult.
So my Mhmm.
My love for universal is adifferent kind of love.
It's not one of that I grew upwith.
It's not a culty love.
It's a I'm a brand new, youknow, love to that park.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
So Oh my god.
We're a uni adults.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
We are uni adults.
I'm a Disney child but a uniadult.
And I I cannot wait.
Like, I am will buy my wand andgo and play in Harry Potter's
Newland and go pick your arse atthe Mario Kart, and I cannot
wait.
Like and I I'm going to closemy eyes and be very terrified

(30:52):
during their Halloween.
Section.
The monsters.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
You'd be alright.

Speaker 2 (30:56):
I'm not excited for that.
But you know what I am excitedfor?
What?
Is all the food?
I'm going to be so fat.
Mhmm.
Mhmm.
Because I'm gonna be like, hihere, eat this, eat this, eat
this,

Speaker 3 (31:09):
Yep.
I actually the other day, I sawsome photos online of from
outside the park looking in ofMonster's Universe.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
And I saw the big windmill.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
And it looks really really cool.
I'm I'm pretty sure.
I think that's gonna be aneating establishment.
It's not been confirmed yet,but I'm super excited for that.
It's gonna look like a lot offun.
But one thing that we wanted totalk about or discuss or
mention is for more informationon universal studios, epic
universe, Halloween hornets, andany and all things universal

(31:44):
There is another really amazingpodcast out there that I found a
while back, and we absolutelylove.
And that is the discoveruniversal podcast.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Ten out of ten.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
It is this.
The official Universal podcastrecorded and I just found this
out the other day when I was atUniversal with your brother, it
is recorded live inside the parkin what is it?
Hollywood?
Is it that Hollywood?
Yeah.
If you go across the streetfrom the board and start
spectacular, you will see thebrown derby shop, which is
closed.

(32:13):
And then a what looks to belike just storefront and then
Schwab's Pharmacy.
Between the Brown Derby andSchwab's Pharmacy, if you look
in the windows, you willactually see the recording
studios for discover universal?

Speaker 2 (32:29):
Yes.

Speaker 3 (32:30):
So I didn't know that .
That's so now my goal is tofigure out when they're
recording.
So I can, like, press my faceup against the window and be,
like, Oh my god.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Can you plug our podcast?
Like, we just plug yours?

Speaker 3 (32:42):
Yeah.
That's not gonna happen.
Maybe they should just oh mygod.
They should hire us.
And then we can, like, recordlive from epic universe when it
opens.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
We can

Speaker 3 (32:52):
be, like, the spokespeople.
Like, you know that movie.
What is that movie?
The cup song, the the pitchperfect.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Oh my god.

Speaker 3 (32:58):
I know the two the two narrators from the
competition.
That can be us inside epicuniverse.
When it opens, how fun wouldthat be?

Speaker 2 (33:05):
Can you imagine that would be epic?

Speaker 3 (33:08):
It would be epic.
It would be so epic.

Speaker 2 (33:11):
Don't worry, guys.
I hate this too.

Speaker 3 (33:15):
Alright.
So unfortunately, Universal didnot give us any epic fast facts
.
With this announcement, whichis so sad.
I was totally looking forwardto some epic fast facts.

Speaker 2 (33:24):
I was really looking forward to it.

Speaker 3 (33:26):
I have an epic fast fact.
I'll throw one in there.
I'll create one.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Lay it on us.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
So Yoshi's Adventure

Speaker 2 (33:31):
Uh-huh.

Speaker 3 (33:32):
Has been seen the vaccine photos of the ride
vehicles, and there is aspecific ride vehicle for guests
that cannot transfer out of awheelchair so they will be able
to roll on and have a companionwith them so they can ride.

Speaker 2 (33:44):
Oh, I'm here for it.
Love it.

Speaker 3 (33:48):
I was like, are you gonna fill this dead spot?

Speaker 2 (33:50):
Inclusivity.
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (33:52):
It's great.
And then yeah.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
That's it.

Speaker 3 (33:57):
So that's that is all we got.

Speaker 2 (33:58):
What a short haul up is so damn proud of us.
I know.
But join us next podcastbecause we will be finishing our
book because

Speaker 3 (34:06):
Oh, you're putting you're you're putting that on me
to do that.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
As a goal.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
I'm working seven days away.
I know.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
But we're gonna get it done.
We're gonna tap into it.
And we're gonna get it takencare of.

Speaker 3 (34:15):
Yeah.
And then we are interested indoing some future different
topics as the future progresses.

the two remaining lands thatuniversal, epic universe has to
confirm and we'll have them back.
