Then they are joined in studio by Teiya Kasahara, a queer/trans non-binary opera singer and theatre creator. Teiya is performing The Butterfly Project August 5, 2023 as part of the Powell Street Festival, a reimagining of Puccini’s opera, Madama Butterfly.
