Speaker 1 (00:02):
Hello, and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
Kate Torbert and coming up on today's show, Gabby Sullivan
accuses Jackie Alexander of ruining her wedding. Things heat up
between Tammy Hembro and Bailey Smith, and Kurt Tills squashes
hair transplant rumors. But first, Sophie, you are finally back

(00:26):
after twelve weeks away on maternity leave.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (00:29):
I was hoping though, when I returned that I wouldn't
be as sleep deprived as I currently am. Brandon and
I are still doing our overnight feeds because our son, Luca, he's.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
A little bit on the smaller side.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
He's actually in the two percent for wait, so we
are having to keep up those feeds until he's five
a kilogram. So literally every night that I do a
late night feed, I get him in this bath that
we have and I weigh him because it is my
little light at the end of the tunnel. And last
night he weighed four point nine to eight. So I'm like,
is it on tonight? Well, I get a sleep tonight

(01:00):
very close. I mean also you're assuming that he then
doesn't wake.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
Up for that feet.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
I think I'm just a bit diluted at the moment
with this sleep deprivation.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
But it's we're getting there. We're getting there.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Yeah. And I felt for you so because just as
you went on attorney leave, you missed out on all
these massive pop culture stories that happened. Of course, Tammy
Hembro announced her divorce. I think it was literally a
week after you went on attorney leave. It's like she
knew I was going on leave. I was so disappointed
not to be involved. I loved your take on it, though,
and the Deep Dive series that was very good timing that.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
That all come existed at the same time.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
That helped me get through some of those early weeks
of having a newborn. Well. I lied a little bit
in the intro SOVI because I said it was your
first day back of maternity leave. But we managed to
get you out of the house on Thursday, all three
of us back together to do a photo shoot for
a secret project that we have come Oh, it was
so much fun. I felt like a kid sneaking out
of the house. My parents in law were over, and

(01:54):
also my husband was looking after Luca and it was
just so nice. We want and got our makeup. I
felt put together. We did a bit of a photo shoot.
We even got some sneaking McDonald's on the way home.
It was a big day, but a fun day. And
I heard you teasing about this new project on Friday
Show and I thought, Okay and Amy, who do you
guys think you are? I know, being on the other

(02:16):
side of it, though, it is kind of fun to
drop some cold Well, we.

Speaker 2 (02:18):
Need a new clue. What's one of the clues.

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Look, I'm not gonna be put on the spot. If
I'm going to drop easter eggs, it's going to be
like a Taylor Swift Easter egg where it's really clever
on our social media. Maybe, yeah, maybe we'll have to
come up with something. Well. I do have a bit
of an exciting update regarding Outspoken Plus. So we have
had our subscription channel I think for over two.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
Years now wow.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
And originally when we set it up, due to our
podcast distribute it we could only get it on Apple Podcasts,
and then we could also offer on Patreon, and then
I managed to set up a separate Spotify feet and
it was a bit complicated to get on there wasn't it. Yeah,
it was just an extra step, and the subs episodes
don't show up in the regular feed on Spotify, so
it was a bit of a headache. So I'm now

(02:58):
happy to report that Outspoken Plus is available through Outspoken's
regular Spotify feed, So if that has been putting you
off from subscribing, it's a lot easier now. We'll also
keep our other Spotify feed going with Outspoken Plus on
it because we do have subscribers on there. I don't
want to make it too complicated for anyone. Look, I'm
a bit lost, I'm a bit technically challenged, but I
think it is the perfect time to sign up because

(03:20):
Outspoken Plus is basically an extended version of our current show,
so we have a bit more of an unfiltered chat
about influencers and influencer events.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
And I think I enjoyed those episodes so much.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
I particularly enjoyed them over the break listening to them
because I was laughing along, particularly to last week subs
where you guys chatted about Saffron Barker's boyfriend and his
protein farts. Just keeping all the high brass up for
the subscribers.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
This soun's scary. It's a juicy mm. Okay, my lips
are DRYMS care?

Speaker 3 (03:54):
How to deal with a friendship fallout?

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Did you guys have a friendship fallout? Yes. Jackie Alexander
has hit back at claims that she ruined Gabby Sullivan's wedding.
Jackie was forced to defend herself after her former bestie
claim she got drunk and made her cry at her
own wedding. Before we get into the drama, so can
you give us some background on Jackie and Gabby? Yeah,
I want to get us acquainted with all of the

(04:18):
main players. First, We've got Jackie Alexander and she is
a thirty three year old fashion and lifestyle influencer who
has over five hundred thousand TikTok followers. She is also
the co founder of a fashion label as well as
a reusable coffee cup business. I have a big soft
spot for Jackie. I discovered her content when she was

(04:39):
hitting back at people being ages towards her and wanting
to be an influencer and have fashion content as someone
in their thirties. How dare a thirty year old want
to create content? I'm a big fan of her now,
Jackie got engaged in August last year, and she likes
a joke that she's a bit of a wag because
her fiance is an Olympian. He's called Nathan, He's a
hockey player. So I really enjoyed a lot of her

(05:01):
content when the Olympics were on. We got a real
behind the scenes view at what it was like as
the girlfriend or wife of an Olympian. Then we've got
Gabby Sullivan now. She is a thirty one year old
model and influencer who owns a sportswear brand. Now, she
has three hundred and twenty two thousand followers on TikTok,
and Gabby married her longtime partner, Chad Cross in November

(05:24):
last year. Now, in terms of their friendship, the pair
became friends during the pandemic when Jackie moved from Melbourne
to Gabby's hometown of Perth, and it seemed like Jackie
was somewhat of a fan of Gabby before they met,
because she admitted that she followed Gabby on social media
for years, and with both of them being influencers, Gabby
was also familiar with Jackie and she suggested that they

(05:46):
catch up when she found out she was moving to Perth,
and it turns out they finally met when Jackie asked
Gabby to shoot for her fashion brand, and she later
admitted it was a dream come true for her. From there,
they clicked instantly and became best friends. That seems to
be a bit of the norm in the influencer world.
I feel like a lot of micro influencers watch bigger

(06:08):
influences from afar, then when they suddenly gain more of
a following, they then reach out and befriend them. Yeah.
I mean, I think they were similar standings in the
influencing industry at that time. But as an up and
coming influence you're always going to follow other big influences
and have that sort of fan girl moment with them,
aren't you. And you're also going to have a lot
in common because you like doing the same thing creating content. Now,

(06:29):
it's not the first time that the pair have had
a friendship fallout. So in May last year, Jackie interviewed
Gabby on her podcast and they spoke about a fight
they had that broke up their friendship for eight months.
I found this episode so fascinating to listen to, particularly
at this point when we know there's another argument.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
Going on Now.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
They didn't go into the specifics of what happened this time.
They just said that something came between them that they
should have communicated better about. And they said that the
communication following the incident made things even worse. Apparently it
got so bad that they would still go to the
same gym but ignore each other.

Speaker 2 (07:05):
That is so awkward.

Speaker 1 (07:06):
Yeah, and their partners got so sick of it that
they said, can you just text each other and catch up?
Or does this remind me of something that the three
of us would do? But I think it's slightly different
when your sisters. Like the other night, we had a
Father's Day dinner and you were telling your husband Reese
that no, well.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
Brandon, I can't remember who, but you were telling.

Speaker 1 (07:22):
Someone that I unfriended you on Facebook and then blocked
you and deleted you, up everything just for a reaction.
Oh this was years ago, though, this wasn't recently. No,
not recently, not recently. But I think it's something petty
that you do. I think when your sisters, you can
kind of get away with it. But I think when
your friends, this really damages the core of the friendship.
Doesn't say yeah, well, when I listened to the podcast,

(07:42):
they definitely had a sister dynamic, like they didn't mind
giving it back to each other.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
Okay, it turns out.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
That Jackie actually blocked Gabby on her stories because she
said she operates under this sort of out of sight,
out of mind thing, whereas Gabby said that she was
more toxic and likes to quote, know what this bitch is.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Doo, that's me. I could never do the block. I
want to know what your I.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
Don't want to say enemy, but what your old friend
is up to. It's kind of like a relationship. I
never was the sort of person when I got broken
up with someone that would be able to just block
them and ignore. I just had to keep up with
their life. What they're doing too much? I think, yeah,
too much to my own detriment sometimes.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Well, during this eight month radio silence between the pair,
Gabby actually got engaged to her long time partner and Jackie.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
Didn't reach out. Wow.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
They ended up reconnecting at a brand event, so this
brand didn't know that they were arguing and invited both
of them.

Speaker 2 (08:35):
Wow.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
I'm so surprised that they were able to rekindle a
friendship after all of that. I mean, I know it
hasn't ended well well.

Speaker 2 (08:43):
They admitted on.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
This podcast that they'd had three smaller fights since that
big one. So one of the arguments took place on
the final day of Australian Fashion Week, so they were
staying together in Sydney and they were meant to be
looking at wedding dresses for Gabby on the last day
of the trip.

Speaker 2 (08:58):
However, they said.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
They ended up having an argument over whether a pub
is called a pub.

Speaker 2 (09:03):
But throw to some of what they.

Speaker 3 (09:04):
Said, angry you were hanging you on your period and
when Jackie's on her period, fucked me. Sorry, Nathan, Oh,
I'm a cow.

Speaker 2 (09:13):
It's actually a move.

Speaker 3 (09:15):
Yeah, but like no, and I think I was just
like I just snapped and I shouldn't have called your cow,
but I just told you it.

Speaker 2 (09:25):
I get it because I become like really annoying, and.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
I was like, can you just not ruin this day
for me of being an absolute cow?

Speaker 1 (09:32):
Like I'm taking for he's about this pub thing.

Speaker 2 (09:35):
What else can a pub be known as?

Speaker 1 (09:36):
Well?

Speaker 2 (09:37):
I don't really know.

Speaker 1 (09:37):
Maybe maybe it's a Melbourne verse Perth thing because Jackie's
from Melbourne. Oh it's funny because I can actually imagine
us getting in a heated argument about the pronunciation of
something or whether the word is right for something like this. Well,
it turns out they also had another fight at the
start of twenty twenty four, and that was in front
of their mutual friend Lucia, who was visiting Perth the time.

(10:00):
So they took her on this trip to Rottness, Ireland
and they had this massive blow up on the ferry
in front of an older couple. They said they were
really going ham at each other and they had to
actually apologize to the couple who also were on the
ferry on the way back. I suppose no one in
the world has captured them arguing, because it seems like
they're having quite public spats. I think the most awkward
part of this interview was that they'd said that they'd

(10:22):
both really matured since the big fight and it's made
their friendships stronger. Yeah, so much so that Jackie actually
went on to be Gabby's maid of honor at her wedding. Well,
it was an honorary maid of honor because Gabby ended
up having quite a small ceremony. It was very extravagant,
but she only invited thirty people and she said she
wanted the vibe of the wedding to be like a

(10:43):
big dinner party with friends. That's how intimate West wedding was.
So Jackie was there getting ready with Gabby, but they
didn't have an official bridal party as such. Now, this
wedding took place in November last year, but by February
there was a lot of speculation that Jackie and Gabby
were not no longer friends because people noticed that they
weren't following each other anymore. It's a telltale sign. We

(11:06):
had so many people sliding into our dms asking us
to speak about this potential friendship bust up. I couldn't
believe how many people were interested in it, but we
didn't want to touch on it until there was something concrete.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
Well.

Speaker 1 (11:18):
Lucy Jackson and Nicky Westcott actually added a lot of
fuel to the fire around that time in February on
their podcast Happy Hour, because they spoke about how two
of their friends had a falling out and unfollowed each other,
and later in the episode they implied it was over
competitiveness and jealousy over weddings. I love that they dropped
that on their podcasts. I am a big fan of

(11:39):
the Happy Hour podcast and Nicky and Lucy. They seem
to be interested in the influence of tea despite being
influencers themselves, which I enjoyed. Yeah, particularly when they've got
a bit of tea to share.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Yeah, I love it. Please share more.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Yeah. Well, we don't have to speculate anymore because Gabby
has confirmed that they are no longer friends. Now. All
of this drama started last month when Jackie shared a
TikTok that seemingly commented on the friendship breakdown. So in
the video, Jackie is joined by none other than Rannie Bransbury,
which was a complete blast from the past. She lives
in Perth, so it kind of makes sense though it's

(12:13):
very Perth centric this story.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
So Jackie, Rannie, and Gabby all used to be friends together.
They were in a bit of a trio. So Jackie
has filmed herself with Rannie and added text to the
screen that says what happened to the trio and in response,
Jackie mimes to the lyric oh Boy from the Sabrina
Carpet a song Manchild. The pair then shrug and look
at something on Rannie's phone, the shade I'm living for the.

Speaker 2 (12:36):
Shade as you can imagine.

Speaker 1 (12:38):
The comment section absolutely blew up, and while Gabby didn't comment,
she did like a comment that said Jackie threw a
fit at her wedding. Now. Another commenter pointed this out
and Jackie replied, I did throw a fit though my
dress ate Now. That comment got over four thousand likes.
Jackie then went on to defend herself, saying if this happened,

(12:58):
why would we have posted Fords videos from the wedding together.
Let's use critical thinking skills here. Well, it is a
good point because if there's been a massive bust up
at this wedding, you aren't posting photos of your honorary bridesmaid.
You're going to try and eliminate them from those posts. Well,
the follower replied to Jackie saying, I'm not saying it happened.
I'm saying she's spreading this narrative, to which Jackie said,

(13:19):
I fear you are too, babe. Someone else wrote, wait,
what have I missed, and Jackie replied, nothing of no
queen now. Sofa Dofa also inserted herself into the narrative,
and she replied and a oop. Rannie Bransbick also wrote
over a bottle of wine, and Jackie replied, say less,
this to me feels like an old school influence a

(13:40):
few the way that the influencer's friends are actually getting
involved and weighing in. And I feel like we need
a bit more of this. Yes, it's a bit petty
and high school, but I feel like we need a
bit more of that injected into the influence the world
to make it more interesting, because for a while there
everyone's getting too boring. Oh it's so bloody entertaining. I've
been glued to this all week, and I came across

(14:02):
an old TikTok of Gabby's from last year in November,
where she referred to Jackie as her best friend. And
it seems like off the back of Jackie's TikTok, Gabby
has decided, well, maybe I'll reply to some of the
commentas on this video asking what had happened. So she
wrote back she ruined my wedding day and went on
to say we are definitely not friends anymore. She then
took things a step further and shared her own clap

(14:24):
back to TikTok on Thursday, and in the video, she
looked seriously at the camera with a text on the
screen that said, some people will never forgive you for
what they did to you.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Read that again.

Speaker 1 (14:35):
Someone commented spill the tea. Jackie and Gabby ended up
writing under that the truth is simple. She got black
out at my wedding, yelled at me in front of
my entire family and made me cry. Obviously, after that,
our friendship never recovered. I'm just trying to move on
with my life. We are literally grown adults, and it's
so sad and embarrassing. Some girls thrive on drama and

(14:57):
bulling in twenty twenty five and others. A pretty big
accusation from Gabby. Ah, that's a massive accusation, and Jackie
responded with her own clap back, and it was quite
the timing because she was celebrating her Hen's party, which
also appears to be a collab with Cat the Label,
and Jackie shared a video from her Hen's party where
she was posing for photos sitting in the back of

(15:18):
a convertible with text on the screen that said, ain't
nobody safe When I'm a little bit drunk. The lyrics
of that song also played, and Jackie added the caption
read that Again, which was a copy of Gabby's caption.
I love that she took time out of her hens
to do this. It shows how much she's obviously impacting her.
Someone commented under the post, so we've heard, and Jackie replied,

(15:39):
talking about me again, because no one listens when they
speak about themselves. Now, Jackie just keeps delivering. So on
Friday she backed it up with a TikTok of her
strutting through the airport with the caption me trying to
act like I'm not slowly losing my mind, And underneath
the post someone wrote, we need your side asap, and
Jackie replied, God forbid, a girl has a dream. She

(16:00):
does have a point, because Gabby is really painting Jackie
to be someone who can't handle their alcohol. And it
seems to be quite clear from the fact that they've
had a friendship bust up before that it's not just
to do with this one incident.

Speaker 2 (16:12):
Yeah, there's a lot of things brewing in the background.
They clearly just clash heads.

Speaker 1 (16:16):
Yeah, it seems to be a systemic problem. And I
found this focus on alcohol really interesting because as research
for this episode, I listened to the episode of Jackie's
podcast where she interviewed Gabby, and Gabby was talking about
her life and she grew up as I suppose, a
teen model, and when she was fifteen, she actually moved
to Asia by herself and was in this model house
and she said they used to go.

Speaker 2 (16:37):
Out all the time.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
They didn't really worry about IDs where she was living,
and she got into alcohol pretty early and that's part
of the reason that she's now sober. And she spoke
about how her and her partner are both sober and
she kind of wishes she could have a sneaky champagne
on her wedding as liquid courage, and Jackie was like, oh, well,
I'll have one for you. And so it seems to
me perhaps this is a case of their life style's.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Not Oh definitely.

Speaker 1 (17:01):
I mean it's safe to say that Jackie is a
bit of a party girl, so it would be hard
as her friend if you're trying to live this sober lifestyle.
Maybe she feels like she's been left out of a
few nights out as well.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Who knows.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Well. It was interesting because during this interview on Jackie's podcast,
they were talking about, well, what is it like being
the only sober friend? And she said, I remember every
little embarrassing thing everyone else does, but they don't remember
shit what I did. Oh, so does it sound like
she's sort of lauding their behavior over them. Yeah, I
did get that vibe. And I mean, we don't know
what actually happened at this wedding, but we've got Rannie

(17:33):
Bransby sort of backing up Jackie's claims. You know that
they were just having a few drinks. So maybe it
was a case of a lot of the girls were
drinking and having fun. You know, when you're in that
mood and you're drinking, you don't know how loud you're being.
And then you've got Gabby who was so maybe wishing
that she could have a drink at her wedding, and
it seems really Yeah, I do feel a bit for

(17:53):
Gabby though, as the person who is generally well is
always the sober friend I don't drink. It can be
hard when you're out and about and your friends are
being obnoxious and acting like Dix really and you're like
just rein it in, particularly for a wedding. You're not
saying that, not saying that Jackie's actually done anything wrong.

Speaker 2 (18:12):
At the wedding.

Speaker 1 (18:12):
Yeah, But the thing is if you're both sober as
the bride and groom, and you're having this very intimate
wedding where there's only thirty people. Everyone knows you really well.
And if you don't want it to be a party
vibe with alcohol, why don't you.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
Just not serve it. Yeah, that's a good point. We joked.

Speaker 1 (18:27):
My husband and I joke that we wouldn't serve any
alcohol at our wedding. But we had about one hundred
people and we're like, well, no one will probably come
and no one will give a present if we did that,
I don't think it would be a popular decision.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
No. Now.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
The Daily Mail ended up covering this story and they
reached out to Jackie, who ended up giving them a statement.
She said to set their record straight. I did not
yell at Gabby's wedding, nor did I ruin her day.
We continue to remain friends post her wedding day. There
is a deeper problem and level of the story which
is missing, as anyone who has been in a toxic

(18:58):
friendship will completely understand, sometimes people aren't meant to be friends,
and that's simply what has happened here. In the end,
it wasn't healthy for the both of us, and that's
why it ended, which had already happened once before, but
I chose to forgive her and try again. These accusations
are false and hurtful. What has been more upsetting is
the ongoing bulling and public shaming directed at me, since

(19:21):
I have always respected that it was Gabby's special day
and I would never want to take away from that.
But respect goes both ways. I would not stand by
silently while my.

Speaker 2 (19:30):
Character is attacked.

Speaker 1 (19:32):
That is a pretty strong statement to put out there,
and I do feel for Jackie because there is this
particular narrative and story being built around her and her
consumption of alcohol, which is pretty unfounded and quite unfair. Yeah,
I think the fact that she was confident enough to
give this statement to The Daily Mail speaks volumes. Gabby's
very clever because she knows that there's nothing more than

(19:54):
the Daily Mail in particular, love than a story where
a bride and a bride'smaid ap pitted against each other
and the bride'smaid has tried to steal the show or
ruin the day. Because I think even just with normal people,
weddings really do generate a lot of friendship bust up.

Speaker 2 (20:14):
So they bring out the worst and people.

Speaker 1 (20:16):
They do be honest, and there's so many people who
have no longer been friends with someone after a wedding.
They do say that sometimes your wedding will be the
last place that you see some of your friends. And
I think that's why this story resonates with so many people,
because not only is it a friendship bust up, which
a lot of us has been through, but it's also
due to a wedding.

Speaker 2 (20:36):
Got to take the kiss of school in a minute.
I went to Melbourne.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
I've got a brand event and stuff like super quick
trip should be fine. It appears things are heating up
between Tammy Hembro and Bailey Smith, with Tammy spending the
second weekend in a row in the AFL player's hometown
of Melbourne. It seems pretty serious and we touched on
last week. But it's bloody awkward because Tammy's ex husband,

(21:00):
Matt Sakowski, is of course from Melbourne as well. She
never seemed to be there when they were dating. Yeah,
because it was always Matt Sakowski who was having to
jump on the plane to the Gold Coast put in
the effort to go and visit Tammy and her family
do we reckon It's because in that situation that was
the lesser known person. He was just some guy off
a reality show, whereas Tammy was the big star. But

(21:23):
now Tammy's in a situation where Bailey Smith in Australia
is more mainstream known than her, So he is the
bigger mainstream celebrity. Yeah. I think being an AFL player,
he's definitely put on a pedestal in saying that, though.
I think it has to do with the fact that
at the moment he's in a finals campaign and he
can't just drop everything to fly to the Gold Coast

(21:44):
every weekend. That's a good point. Is actually got shit
going on. He's got a bit going through him as well.
I mean Tammy does as well. She's got her businesses
and her children. But it shows how much she wants
this new romance to work. Yeah. Well, she just keeps
using these brand events that she's invited to that she
would never normally go to as an excuse to go
to Melbourne. She actually shared a TikTok updating her followers

(22:06):
about her weekend plans and get Ready with Me video. Now,
she didn't mention Bailey, but she said she was going
on a fun, super quick trip to Melbourne for a
brand event and stuff. And the brand event in question
was for a fashion label, and they must have been
thanking they're lucky stars at the timing because the media
were in full force to get pictures of Tammy. How
many Melbourne brands are going to be reaching out to Tammy?

(22:28):
Now we've got this fantastic event in Melbourne, You've got
to come along.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Well, the media had an absolute field day at this
event because Tammy rocked up in this sarong style dress
with a plunging neckline, and the media were reporting that
she nearly had a wardrobe malfunction, which which means basically.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Her boobs were about to pop out.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
That's very early two thousands, the whole wardrobe malfunctions stories,
isn't it. It reminds me of when Jennifer Hawkins genuinely
had a wardrobe malfunction and I think she was wearing
a strong actually and her sarong fell off when she
was walking down the runway. But you know how funny
it is, it just showed off her g string bikini
like now everyone's just wearing now. The media also spotted

(23:07):
at this event that Tammy was wearing a twenty five
thousand dollar Cartier watch and they are claiming that this
must be a gift from Bailey. I mean, I think
they're forgetting that Tammy Hembro is worth fifty million dollars.

Speaker 2 (23:20):
I think she can.

Speaker 1 (23:21):
Buy her own Cartier what and out of those two,
if someone is going to be gifting someone a twenty
five thousand dollars watch, it's going to be Tammy for Bailey. Now,
Geelong are in the finals at the moment, and I'm
not usually one who wants to sit down and watch
the footy on the weekend, but I wanted to see
if I could spot Tammy Hembro in the crowd. It
is still unknown if she was in the stand supporting Bailey.

(23:42):
I didn't see her myself, and no pap shots have
appeared yet. I feel like if she was there in
the wild, someone would have snapped a photo and she
had it to TikTok. But then again, maybe it's not
the demographic that's interested in Tammy Hembro. What we do
know is that she was in Melbourne, so she probably
celebrated with him at the very least after It seems
like she's a bit of a lucky charm because Geelong

(24:04):
won and they're through to the pre limb. I just
love that Tammy Hembro is entering her wag era, particularly
after her divorce. It's a bit of fun. She's on
the sidelines. I'm here for it. I love it bringing
a bit of glamour back to the AFL. Isn't she
blitz and glamour. I'm just counting down the days to
the Brownlow to be completely honest with.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
Do you actually think she's going to be at it?

Speaker 1 (24:24):
Yes, I definitely do think she's going to be at it.
She is gearing up to be at the Brownlow.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Do we reckon?

Speaker 1 (24:29):
We'll see a bit of a sponsored number for her outfit.
We had Vera Waang who provided some wedding dresses for her,
which she's currently trying to sell.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
Maybe she could rewear one of the dresses.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
I mean it was pink, isn't it When people get divorced,
didn't they used to trash their dresses or die? Then
maybe she could dye the dress a different color, given
another spin. Yeah. Well, it's been reported that she's had
a lot of designers reach out to her, but the
strong rumor is that influencer stylist Paul Fasaci will be
dressing her for the eventually. Because he's very controversial at
the moment, he is now talking about controversials over. I

(25:00):
want to talk to you about what Bailey said after
the game to the media, because I haven't heard this.
This is an epic quote. He was asked what he's
going to do with his week off footy because they've
got a buy in between waiting to play the prelimb,
and he said, probably get on the piss for a bit,
relax the mind, hang out with my mates. I think
there will definitely be a sneaky trip to the Gold
Coast thrown in there. What does his coach think about

(25:22):
him saying this?

Speaker 2 (25:23):
See, I actually like this.

Speaker 1 (25:24):
I feel like they're bringing a bit of character back
to the game. I know over the weekend, Nick Daykos
got in trouble because he said the F word during
a press conference, and like, what will little children think?
And I kind of understand it from that perspective if.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
They're not hearing on TikTok.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
Yeah, but I just love having a bit of character
to the game, like a bit of fun. As a
Crow's supporter, I hope that Bailey Smith does get on
the beers and then he heads to the Gold Coast
and he's not in full form if they're to face
them in the prelim final, because that what a shit
game that was on the weekend. Yeah, I'm one of
those Crows fans who I'm jumping back on the bandwagon.

(25:59):
I've been off the bandag for about ten years. It
used to be a die hard Crows fank. We would
cry if they lost. And now that we've finished as
minor premier. Sorry, this is a bit of footy talk
for people we might not be interested, but as we
finished as minor premiers, I'm back. I'm wanting to actually
watch the games. I had to beg my husband, who's
a massive port fan. We actually watched the Crows games.

Speaker 2 (26:17):
Are you okay? What's wrong with you?

Speaker 3 (26:19):
Oh?

Speaker 1 (26:20):
We watched it as well. It was so funny seeing
Taylor Walker play his three hundredth game and his son's
standing on the sidelines in a Nick Daykos jumper.

Speaker 2 (26:27):
It was hilarious.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
But those who haven't seen it somehow his son is Louis.
I can't rember his name, but he is a massive
fan of Collingwood and Nick Daykos and these social media
teams for the Crows and Colin would have been having
some fun with it. So he actually got to meet
Nick and he presented him with a jersey. Taylor Walker
was such a good sport though. He patted him on
the back, gave his son a hug. It was the

(26:48):
first thing he bloody saw as he's being chair lifted
off after a very bad loss for the Crows. Yeah,
now we will get away from footy talk because some
of our listeners may be snoring their heads.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
Off, but in fact we used to want to be
sports journals. Happened to us.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
Yeah, well that's why I'm loving the influencer in sports.
Well collide, Yeah, the crossover. Now back to Tammy Hembro.
She continues to bless us with very entertaining snapchats and
while she was in Melbourne over the weekend, she filmed
herself miming in the back of an uber and she
panned her camera across as if she was going to
show who she was sitting next to, but then just

(27:20):
showed an empty seat and gave it the finger.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
When she was.

Speaker 1 (27:24):
Back on the Gold Coast on Sunday, she also filmed
a TikTok where she was in her car playing up
how difficult it is to date. So the caption on
the screen said, trying to be cool in the talking stage,
but you have no game. I have still agree Tammy
doesn't have any game. She's probably not used to the
chatting dating stage because got no game. When I say

(27:44):
she doesn't have game, obviously she does have game. Everyone
saying she's collected three engagement rings.

Speaker 2 (27:49):
She does have game.

Speaker 1 (27:50):
But what she doesn't have is she's not used to
being in a casual, fun, relaxed relationship. Everything goes from
zero to one hundred with her, so she's probably liked
a second. Why isn't this guy proposed to me yet? Yeah,
that is true, because if we reflect on a relationship
with Mattzakowski, she should already have Bailey Smith's name tattooed somewhere.

Speaker 2 (28:09):
That'll be a new rumor that the Daily Mail will
be running. Yeah, first heard and outspoken.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
Don't quote us on that one, because we have absolutely
no proof of that. No. The thing is, though, she's
also dealing with someone who is quite a bit younger
than her in that gen Z demographic who he's the
face of Tinder at the moment, he's you know, into
casual dating apparently, so I.

Speaker 2 (28:27):
Wonder if he still is on Tinder.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Please, if you're on Tinder and you see him on there,
let us know, as if he's actually on tin he's
not talking to anyone now. Meanwhile, the Daily Mail have
tried their hardest to conjure up a story about Tammy
being involved in a neighborhood feud that sounds very today tonight.
Oh so I saw these pap photos on Influence Updates
AU and I was like, oh my god, what an

(28:50):
invasion of privacy because the photos were of the exterior
of Tammy's home, literally doxing her address, and the pictures
were of this big ton of cardboard out the front.
Obviously she'd done a big unpackaging. Well, it's probably a
lot of pr packages that she gets sent. I heavily
related to this because we have a trailer filled with

(29:12):
cardboard which sits to the side of our house, which
is quite ugly to look at. But from having a baby,
you buy so many things. They all come in large boxes.
Our couch came in a large box.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
You can't get rid of this shit.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Well, yeah, just as regular people, you deal with a
lot of cardboards, so imagine, you know, express and thought
for the influencers that have ten ton of it. There
were also photos of like shoes.

Speaker 2 (29:34):
Piled out at the front. I'm like, she's got three kids.

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Yeah, And they also noted that the light fitting was
a bit rusty and the fence was stained. I'm like,
this woman runs two businesses and has three children and
you know, is a single mum.

Speaker 2 (29:46):
Can we give her a bit of slack?

Speaker 1 (29:48):
She's also been flitting back and forward to mel but
she might not have had time to do it on
the weekend. So is the crux of this story that
the neighbor has apparently complained and sent them through the photo.

Speaker 2 (29:56):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (29:56):
So apparently the Daily Mail spotted some anonymous comments on
Tammy's posts about how there was a neighborhood feud because
Tammy's not maintaining her front yard up to the standard
that her neighbors want. So they flew a journalist across
to investigate. And this journalist obviously took the pap down,
took photos of the front yard and then she started

(30:16):
doing a door knock of the area and was asking
Tammy's neighbors about her I mean, I wonder if they
went through the bins like. I don't want to turn
my nose up at this sort of story, because I
did used to Eka today tonight, and this is the
exact sort of shit that we would concentrate on. Neighborhood
feuds thrown in with an influencer.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
It's a great story.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
I actually loved that the Daily Mail was dedicated enough
to send a journal out their door knocking.

Speaker 2 (30:42):
Usually they just make shit up. I don't want to
give them too much props.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
It seems like a complete invasion of privacy because they
were literally going to all her neighbors being like, what
do you know?

Speaker 2 (30:49):
What does she do?

Speaker 1 (30:50):
It is an invasion of privacy. But we've said for
a while now that investigative journalism is dead.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
Clearly it is not.

Speaker 1 (30:55):
Yeah, Well, what the journalists managed to uncover is that
Tammy has a gardener once a fortnight and that the
people were just being malicious on social media. But they
did manage to tack on at the end that an
anonymous neighbor said that Tammy was quite unpopular on the
street and wasn't friendly. I would literally hate if an
investigtive journalist came down to speak to our neighbors when

(31:18):
the three of us lived together, because my golly, they
would have some stories about the constant arguing and yelling
that came from out At least they went to our
family home, because our dad is your typical retired man
who is you know, has an issue when people park
out the front of his house. It's funny because I
remember growing up, we saw a neighbor and her mum said, oh, yes,

(31:40):
we spent the weekend that goa and the neighbor responded.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Yes, we know.

Speaker 1 (31:44):
We couldn't hear your kids screaming in the backyards like
a lot.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Of guys for the past, like tennys.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
For weeks now, rumors have been swirling that Sarah's Day's husband,
Kurt Tills, is set to undergo a hair transplant. Speculation
was ignited when Kurt popped up in the background of
one of Sarah's reels, sporting a freshly shaved head. Now so,
the new look seemed to shock a lot of Sarah's followers,
with one describing it as a jump scare. I also

(32:18):
got a bit of a jump scare when I saw
him pop up. I mean, his initial appearance was so
quick that you could have blinked and missed it because
he appeared in a reel which was focused around their
son Fox cooking, so he was cooking up some healthy
cupcakes for his family, and Kurt was literally in the
video for i'd say a millisecond eating one of the cupcakes.

(32:38):
But his fleeting appearance seemed to rock some followers to
their core because with no warning, Kurt, who has been
a permanent fixture on this channel since twenty seventeen, was
suddenly bald. And not only was he bald, but he
looked like an egg because his head was so shiny
and pale. He usually has.

Speaker 2 (32:57):
A bit of a tan to him. It was just
a very dramatic change.

Speaker 1 (33:01):
I feel like it's a bit harsh to say he
looks like an egg. But what I think you're trying
to say is that it's not like he finally bit
the bullet, because he has been losing his hair for
a bit. It's not like he finally went I'm going
to go and get it shaved off. I've got a
bit of you know, stubble on the head. It was
like literally very extreme close shaved.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
It was very close shave.

Speaker 1 (33:20):
Well. I wasn't the only one who was shocked. The
top comment under the video was where is Kurt's hair?
All in capitals, and that comment received over five hundred likes.
Another follower said that they almost died when they saw
the bald head, whilst another said they nearly pulled their
neck reeling from the quick flash of Kurt's head. I

(33:42):
have to admit that this screenshot of Kurt's bald head
it did the rounds in our group chat, because I,
for one, wasn't sitting through Fox's cooking video. It was
quite a lengthy video. It was Amy who was very
quick with the screen shot. Yeah, I do want to
point out that there is absolutely nothing wrong with having
a ball head or shaving your head. It's just definitely
not I've been saying he should do it for years

(34:03):
because he, as Sarah pointed out, for ten years, he's
been losing his hair and he has been holding onto
the scraps.

Speaker 2 (34:11):
A bit, hasn't it.

Speaker 1 (34:12):
Yeah, he and Sarah have been very upfront with the
fact that he's been losing his hair and is not
really sure what to do with it. They've spoken about
him trying different hairstars, and that's what I was most
surprised about. The fact that she just dropped it in
this reel with no explanation, because remember when she first
cut her son Fox's hair, because they let it grow
really long, and it was at the stage where they're like, oh,
we've got to cut it because we can't actually get

(34:33):
a brush through it. And she teased it for weeks
that they were going to do this unveiling of Fox's
new hair.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
So I'm surprised that Kurt's.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
Hair transformation wasn't used as contents. Yeah, she's really missed
an opportunity there to click bait, hasn't she.

Speaker 2 (34:49):
I mean, she's probably too busy with her three children now.

Speaker 1 (34:51):
Sarah is known for weighing in in the comment section,
and she decided to respond to a follower who wrote, wait,
why is Kurt Bold? She replied saying, I have a
lot to update you on. Make sure you're watching my
YouTube blogs, and this response led her followers to start
speculating that perhaps Kurt was set to undergo a hair transplant. Well,

(35:14):
it seems to be something that a lot of men
are getting done now. On the most recent series of
Love Ireland, it came out that Harry and Ben both
that had hair plugged so the media managed to dig
up these before and after photos of them from like
some hair transplant clinic in Turkey. Oh, the transformation was
pretty dramatic.

Speaker 2 (35:30):
Oh, it's so good. That's the thing.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
I would think, because Kurt and Sarah have so much money,
why not get a hair transplant if it's something that
is bothering you. Yeah. And particularly when Kurt joined Sarah's
YouTube channel, he was kind of like the Ken to
her Barbie. Like, he was this pinup guy who was
very fit, and he had blonde hair, he had a
tan rock a fake tan. He seemed to be very

(35:54):
into his appearance. I think as he's gotten older, he
hasn't placed as much importance into it.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
Side note, I'm.

Speaker 1 (36:01):
A bit of a fan of the videos on TikTok
where bald men go and get the wigs.

Speaker 2 (36:06):
Done although glue on white.

Speaker 1 (36:07):
Yeah, and you're shocked at how much.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Better they look.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
Sorry, I know that sounds really harsh, but it's a
dramatic transformation for some men. I mean some men absolutely
rock a bald head. I mean you think of David Beckham,
he looks great with his buzzcut. Well, there's those guys
that actually get the sort of hair stubble tattooed onto
it and it actually looks really good.

Speaker 2 (36:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (36:27):
The thing is, I think a lot of people assume
that this was also a hair transplant due to the
fact that Sarah was saying, look out for my video.
There's something coming. Maybe people thought that there was some
sort of sponsorship deal with a surgeon, which I mean
I would have thought that maybe surgeons would be reaching up,
particularly surgeons in Australia who might be trying to generate
interest in it because a lot of people fly Turkey,

(36:48):
but you could get it done in Australia. Also because
back in the day, Sarah got a deal for Kurt
with a dentist that got his teeth strange. Yeah, Sarah
definitely knows how to generate Engagement's been very good at it,
and she knows what her audience wants. So when she
dropped her latest YouTube video, she included in the title
Kurts bald, so people automatically wanted to click on it,

(37:11):
and they decided to address the news with humor, which
I quite enjoyed. Let's throw to a snippet of what
they said.

Speaker 4 (37:18):
We have major family news and I'm really sorry you guys.
Didn't even get his say goodbye, and it's going to
be a jump scare, and it may be it may
really emotionally affect a few people on the channel, but
now there's a conspiracy going around on the comment felt
like he's bald because he's getting.

Speaker 2 (37:36):
A hair traced.

Speaker 4 (37:37):
Like, no, I just shaved it all off to get
rid of it.

Speaker 2 (37:39):
Tell us the story. I was in the gym.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I took my hat off and my hair was just
sitting in a weird position, and I was like, Nah,
stuff this and get rid of it.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
So I'm MESSI Sarah, I said, hell, the boys get
the shaver out shav.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
So what he shaved his head at the gym?

Speaker 1 (37:53):
No, no, no, He waited until he got home and
he got Fox and Malachi, his sons, to each take
turns at shaving his head. So he knelt down in
the shower so that the hair would all go in
there whilst they were shaving his head, and you could
tell he was almost regretting it as it was going on.
Causerah's like, are you sure that you want to do this?
And he's like not really? Oh God?

Speaker 2 (38:12):
So is that why it was such a close shave?

Speaker 1 (38:14):
Because they probably had these kids hacking at it, and
they're like, well, we're going to have to just go
right to the scout.

Speaker 2 (38:19):
Maybe it'll look better once it grows back a little bit. Oh,
I think it. Definitely.

Speaker 1 (38:22):
He's a nice looking guy. He's got a nice face, Like,
of course he'll be able to rock the balllet head.
It just needs a bit more stubble to go through.
I love that they actually addressed the conspiracy theories. I'm
a fan of when influence has actually touch on what
everyone's been saying in the comment section instead of just
ignoring it. Yeah, well, good on him. I kind of
like that he just dealt with it like a band
aid straight off.

Speaker 2 (38:40):
I also had to laugh when their son Fox.

Speaker 1 (38:42):
Was like, you're bold, brother, You're bold.

Speaker 2 (38:45):
That was what he's funny.

Speaker 1 (38:47):
Well, that is where we are going to leave things today.
But if you do want to hear more content from us,
as we mentioned at the start of the episode, we
drop a subscriber only episode every Thursday. It is now
available on our Spotify feed, much easier to subscribe to
if you do want to subscribe. All the details are
in the show notes. Again, that show is just an
extension of this show. Basically, and I think we're a

(39:08):
bit more unhinged on there. Is that the right word
unhinged or just a bit more unfiltered. It's probably a
nice When we have our discussions about what topics we're
going to cover on the regular shows, we're always like, oh,
maybe just like that one for the subs. I think
I feel we're comfortable talking about it on the subs.
It's pretty good timing because my son is waking up
for his two hour nap. He's decided to start screaming,
so I'm perfect timing. I'm very impressed with him. It's

(39:31):
been quite relaxing, thanks for the podcast. He's throwing his
legs around in there at the moment, so I better
go in. But this episode was recorded on the traditional
land of the Ghana people of the Adelaide Planes.

Speaker 2 (39:40):
We pay respect to Elder's past and present.
