Speaker 1 (00:03):
On today's show, Sarah's Day is accused of living in
a bubble over insensitive post Travis Kelcey labeled a himbo
after his old tweets resurfaced, Jet Kenny's Tinder stalker and
Indy Clinton's baby name clues. Hello, and welcome to Outspoken.
It's your dose of the hottest influencer and pop culture news.

(00:25):
I name me Torba, and I wanted to start the
episode by saying a big thank you to all of
the listeners because we have received some really kind messages
following the launch of our new Unspoken series, which dropped
on Thursday last week.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
It was, of course, all about Victoria Beckham.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
It's so exciting to see that everyone is getting that
Victoria Beckham fever that we all have. I did want
to clear up a few things though, because there was
a little bit of confusion when our Subs episode dropped
on Friday. A lot of people thought that that was
our regular Friday episode.

Speaker 2 (00:55):
So just to.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Reiterate, our normal Influencer episode is dropping on Tuesdays. We
now have this new series called Unspoken, which is dropping
on Thursdays, and we have changed our Subs episode to Friday.
And I think the confusion is because normally our subs show,
we were doing deep dives in that So now the
free show is actually the deep dive series, and the

(01:17):
Friday episode for subscribers is that extra influencer content. So
thank you so much to everyone who pointed out and
we're like, oh my god, I think you've accidently uploaded
Friday's episode as a subscriber one that was intentional. Friday
is now our new day for subscriber episode. We had
just had such a great response from our deep dives
that we were sharing on our subs episode that we
thought there's so much time and effort that goes into

(01:40):
them that we want to make them available for the
rest of our listeners. And also it kind of works
well because on our subscriber episodes, it means that we
can go into a little bit more depth about some
of the stories that we're covering influencer wise, and because
it is behind a.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Paywall, we can, you know, we can really dive in
a bit.

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Yeah, we can say things that maybe we wouldn't normally
say on the free to air episodes. Also, I've been
saving up a few stories for the subscriber episodes. Stuff
that's happened recently that maybe I don't want people I
know to particularly hear a bit of juicy gossip for
the subscribers, that's a bit of a signal for Amy's
friends and families to follow us.

Speaker 2 (02:19):
So anyway, yeah, thank you.

Speaker 1 (02:21):
We really do appreciate all of the support for the
new series and it's so fantastic to hear.

Speaker 2 (02:25):
That you're all enjoying it.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
We do really want to get our new series out
there to as many people as possible, So if you
are enjoying it, could you please make sure that you
review and also let a friend know or tag us
on Instagram from where you're listening from good morning, we
are getting ready for my pajama photoship. Sarah's Day has
been labeled tone deaf and accused of living in a bubble.

(02:47):
After asking her followers how she can send Christmas presents
to Israeli and Palestinian children on Friday, she shared a
photo holding a bag of toys and wrote, missus Claus
is in the building hashtag boy. She then re shared
that photo and wrote, we've recently discovered we can't currently get.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
My cookbooks to Israel.

Speaker 1 (03:06):
Every year I take part in Operation Christmas child, But
I'd also love to know how can I send presents
to children in Israel and Palestine?

Speaker 2 (03:15):
So was she.

Speaker 1 (03:16):
Hoping to sell the book in Israel and is disappointed
that it won't ship there, or was she hoping to
gift it to the children? Well, my understanding is she
was surprised that it couldn't be delivered to people who'd
ordered it from Israel. I mean, I don't know how
big her audience is in Israel.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Or how important the book would be for them at
this time. That's the thing.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
This is the first post where Sarah has addressed the
horrific conflict that is going on. And when you're addressing
your large platform about such a sensitive and complex situation,
what on earth would possess you to begin that conversation
by airing your disappointment that you can't get your cookbooks
delivered there? It just comes across as so tone deaf

(03:53):
and unaware of what's going on. I mean, I'm sure
that's a really pressing matter for the Israelis right now,
not being able to get Sarah's Day's Cookbook into the country.
As someone said in a Facebook community, this has got
to be satire. They wrote, it's so silly it's horrifying
slash hilarious. Perhaps Sarah saw this as a way of
bringing up what's happening in Israel and Gaza right now,
because she would be getting a lot of dms pressuring

(04:16):
her to make some form of comment, and I am
assuming she thought this might be a good way to
bring it up. While I do think that the comments
have come across as incredibly insensitive and not very educated,
I don't think that she was trying to come from
a completely negative place. It's quite apparent that she does
do a lot of work within her Christian faith to
give presents to kids in need, and perhaps she was

(04:38):
trying to think of a way that you can help,
because I mean, I think we all feel very powerless
watching this all go on and there.

Speaker 2 (04:44):
It feels like there isn't much that we can do.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
But a lot of experts are saying that the best
thing to do is to donate to charities and actually
give money and also be signing petitions to try and
fight for a ceasefire well as opposed to giving Christmas
presents to children who don't celebrate. Yes, on your point, Amy,
only two percent of the population in both Israel and
Palestine identify as Christian. So in Israel seventy four percent

(05:09):
of the population are Jewish, in eighteen percent of Muslim,
while in Palestine ninety eight percent of the population identify
as Sunny Muslim. So it just seems ridiculous that Sarah
would have even suggested sending these places Christmas presents. If
you love Japanese food, then you have to check out
she being Collingwood.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
So it's Harry Styles approved.

Speaker 1 (05:30):
A Melbourne cafe continues to be inundated by Harry Styles
fans months after the pop star dined in for breakfast. Now,
whilst many cafe owners could only dream of the publicity,
owners of Chibi and Collingwood are fed up and of
banned customers from taking photos and videos inside the cafe.
So if it's hard to believe it's actually been nine
months since Harry dined there. Yeah, so he visited the

(05:51):
Japanese cafe when he was touring Australia and February as
part of his stadium tours. And this cafe is also
a homeware shop and it's hidden amongst Colinwood's backstreet, so
you can see why it was an attractive option for
Harry he thought maybe he could blend in now for
those who are heavily invested in this, Harry ordered the
signature breakfast and a green tea. Now, I mean, what

(06:12):
exactly is.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
On the signature breakfast.

Speaker 1 (06:14):
Well, it's grilled salmon, a laid and rolled omelet, vegetables,
potato salad, rice, and misso soup. Sounds like some good
fuel for your standard tours that you're doing now. At
the time, Gib's co owner Meg Tanker, said that diners
either didn't notice Harry or were very restrained and allowed
him to enjoy his meal outside before browsing the Japanese
Home West. Well, they might have been restrained, but they

(06:36):
were still doing the sneaky film. So there are so
many videos of him all over TikTok at this cafe.
I bet everyone is ordering this breakfast as well well. Surprisingly,
the cafe owner Meg said that at the time not
too many fans actually popped in, But now in the
months since, there's been an influx of fans creating content
at the cafe. So I had a bit of a
look online and there's a handful of videos of fans

(06:59):
created videos about their experience at the cafe. So one
is entitled checking out this Harry Styles approved Japanese cafe,
whilst another was captioned where Harry Styles visited in Melbourne
and another one was saying, oh, Harry's been here. So
there's only a handful of videos, but I'm assuming a
lot of teenagers are coming in and making a nuisance
of themselves because the cafe is sick of it. They

(07:21):
have put up signs banning anyone from taking any photos
or videos in the side of the cafe.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Now, I think that's.

Speaker 1 (07:28):
So foolish though, because this trend it's obviously being spurred
on by TikTok and working in pr you want people
posting about your restaurant. This is obviously getting bums on seats. Well,
the Age picked up on this story and they were
trying to push the angle that the cafe is fed
up at influencers creating this content, and they put together
a story saying that it's a really bad business strategy

(07:50):
because as a cafe, you really do want people with
a large platform there. But when I had to look
at the people who were actually sharing this Harry Styles content,
they were all people that only had couple of hundred followers.
So I'm thinking that the cafe is more annoyed by
young people coming in who aren't spending much money and
who are then instead spending the whole time just taking
behind the scenes videos on their phone. Because those people

(08:13):
they're not really getting much off, they're not getting money
and they're not getting exposure. Well, this is becoming a
bit of a trend. So recently The New York Times
reported that a wine bar and ice cream parlor in
Paris went to the extent of hiring bounces because it
was so overrun by people taking photos in the venue.
So the owner of the venue actually ended up banning
TikTok videos and she put up a sign saying no

(08:34):
TikTok be here to have fun, not take pictures. She
also said it got to the stage where the guests
weren't even tasting the ice creams because they were so
intent on just taking photos and content. The funniest thing
about this Japanese restaurant is just because Harry went there once,
it doesn't actually mean it's like he enjoyed it. He
could ha seniture breakfast, maybe had food poisoning. Yeah, I

(08:57):
totally understand the frustration. It would be so annoying seeing
people who perhaps weren't spending much money just using your
restaurant as a backdrop for their photo shoot, particularly if
they're being pretty shameless about it and getting in people's
way and making other diners feel uncomfortable. I was speaking
to a cafe owner not too long ago, and I
was talking to him about PR and possible opportunities, and

(09:17):
he said, we don't need PR because we have the
clientele we want. We have enough people coming in that
we actually don't want to attract more customers. So maybe
that's the same case with this Japanese cafe, and maybe
they're the customers that they don't actually want.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
That's the thing.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
There are a lot of young people who just want
to go to a restaurant to be seen, and they
may be sitting with that one hot chocolate or a
cup of coffee for hours on end, just taking up
a seat that could be better used.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
For a customer who's spending more and more money.

Speaker 1 (09:45):
I think that's unusual for a cafe, though there would
be so many places out there that would love this
kind of attention, particularly in the economic climate. It's so
confusing when a lot of venues invest money in getting
influences in or they ask general members of public to review,
because a lot of those reviews help build trust and
reputation within that business. I could understand if it was

(10:06):
a negative review and you're on TikTok and everyone's like, oh,
this cafe that Harry dindad is shit, So I could
understand if you were trying to manage that, But that
doesn't seem to be the content that's getting out there.
This is obviously the reason he went to this cafe
because it's not your typical instagrammable cafe that all the
Harry Styles fans would have beat. Do you think it's
a bit of snobbery with these restaurants that are like,

(10:28):
we don't need TikTokers here. I do think it is,
And I wonder would that put you off if there
was a sign that said you're not allowed to film
at this restaurant one hundred percent, because I just think
it's such a bad move strategically, because in this climate,
most young people will check TikTok or Instagram, either reviews
or just to get a look at what the menu
items look like in order to think, oh, yeah, I

(10:49):
might go there with my friends, and also for me
if I'm going to a restaurant for my birthday or
a hen's party or whatever.

Speaker 2 (10:55):
It may be.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
I want to take photos there to remember that experience
and to document it. Reminds you of this pizza shop.
So if and I used to do PR four and
all of the publicity revolved around the fact that this
guy was very controversial and he had a set of
rules to come into his restaurants. So one of them was,
if you ordered a pizza, you can't have pineapple on it.
So I do think it does alienate.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
A lot of people.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
But then there are diners who do want to go
to these restaurants that have specific rules because they're sick
of being around a certain clientele. I think that having
signs up banning certain activities, particularly when taking photos is
quite a normal activity these days to do when you
got a restaurant puts a bad taste in diner's mouths,
and it makes the tone.

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Sort of negative. It makes it very exclusive, though.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
And some people like that. Well maybe they're hoping to
attract more celebrities like Harry Starts. I don't want people
taking photos. Yeah, who are you, random person on the mic?

Speaker 2 (11:51):
My name is Jeff.

Speaker 1 (11:53):
Gladiator Star and model Jack Kenny has revealed that a
Tinder stalker pushed him to make things official with influencer
Lily Brown. So for this one's juicy, what happened? So
Je recently appeared on Lily's finale of her podcast and
they were clearly holding out for him because a lot
of people are interested to get more of an insight
into their relationship. So I was really curious to know

(12:15):
how they actually met, and it turns out it had
a lot to do with Lily Brown's mum. So Lily
Brown's mum was watching Sas Australia back in twenty twenty
one and she texts Lily saying there's a really hot
guy on here and he's nice to his mum, go
and add him on Instagram. So Lily proceeded to follow
her mum's instructions and added him. So Je was watching

(12:36):
the show and he noticed that Lily had followed him.
He didn't follow back straight away, though he actually screenshot
her page to remember. That's a bit of a power play.
I guess he was probably getting a lot of follow
requests that night. Yeah, Well, he said that he wanted
to do a bit of research first before following her back,
and he seemed quite sort of taken by the fact
that she was a redhead. He hadn't seen to date
a redhead before, and Lily was joking on the podcast

(12:59):
that once you go red, you don't go back. Well,
she would have had a blue ticket at the time
as well, so that would have sparked his interest.

Speaker 2 (13:05):
So a fuck ton of followers.

Speaker 1 (13:07):
I mean I looked to his account now he's only
got seventy thousand followers, so she clearly had the bigger
name in terms of social media than him. So he
didn't hear who actually asked who out. But a week later,
Lily happened to be on the Sunshine Coast and she
booked an.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
AIRB and B. That is so planned.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
There is no way that she just happened to be
there at the time. She would have splashed the cash
to make this happen, or Lily Brown's mum, she just
suddenly booked it. I think you need to go here. Well,
on the way there, Jet text her and said, oh,
what do you like and she said she'd love champagne.
So he rocked up with two bottles of champagne and
she'd apparently already had two or three drinks before he'd
arrived because she was that nervous to speak to him anyway.

(13:46):
So they ended up going out for dinner and then
they went back to her AIRB and B and ended
up watching the second episode of sas Australia. To me,
it's funny because he actually comes across as super lovely
and intelligent and really well spoken. Because I was going
to say, in any other circumstance, it seems like a
bit of an ego thing by putting on.

Speaker 2 (14:08):
The TV show that you're on. But I suppose because
they struck up.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
A conversation about the show, maybe that's why they watched it.
It almost seems though from Lily's perspective, that she was
a bit on the back foot, as if he was
the biggest starstruck. Yeah, because it's odd to me a
lot of influencers. I think they placed a great level
of importance on people who were on television as opposed
to YouTube, when most people probably know, especially in our
age bracket, who Lillly Brown is over Jet Yeah. Yeah,

(14:34):
Well it's funny because I think that they must have
spent the night together and Lily said there was some
sort of shower action going on.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
I don't quite know the full.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
Details there, but she said that she has hair extensions
and her hair got ruined by the shower, so she
woke up with her hair looking an absolute mess. So
she rang up her hairdresser and said, I'm seeing Jet
again tonight. I'm going to come down to Brisbane and
you're going to give me a blow dry. So she
literally did a five hour round trip to Brisbane to
get her hair done, then back to the Sunshine Coast.

(15:03):
So she told him that she'd just been working from
a cafe that day. Anyway, Day two went well. She
ended up going back to Jet's house and he lives
with his dad, so she met the dad and they
ended up watching episode three of SAS and by that
stage Jet was already holding her hand on the couch,
and she pulled out her phone and took a photo
of them holding hands. He didn't know this and sent

(15:25):
it to her mom, saying, oh, check this out, Mum.
Have you guys ever done that before, like taking a
sneaky photo of maybe someone you've been dating.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
No, No, I haven't. I've always been too scared to
do that.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
It's pretty ballsy, isn't it scared?

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Much?

Speaker 1 (15:37):
I've been caught out being like, what the hell are
you doing taking a photo of our hands? Well, see,
so I was quite surprised because I thought that they
must have then just started their relationship from there. But
after that they were friends for a year, and then
Jet was filming another show in Brisbane, so he had
a couple of months where he was hanging out with Lily,
but they weren't official. So how do you go from

(15:58):
bringing a girl over to your parents' house, holding her
hands on the couch while you're all watching a TV
show to then just being like, oh, we're just friends.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah, it's very confusing.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
But remember she was involved in a video with Michael Finch.
It was one of those say it or shot at once,
and I think she was asked who's the most famous
person you've slept with, and she referenced Jack Kenny and
then she specified that, oh, we're friends and we've been
friends for a while. Well you could tell at that
point that she's really into this and she probably wanted more.
But it seems like he's the one with the commitment

(16:26):
issues because Lily is his first ever girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Yeah, he is twenty nine.

Speaker 1 (16:30):
It did surprise me that Lily is his first girlfriend.

Speaker 2 (16:33):
And it seems like this Tinder.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Stalker amy that you referenced at the start is what
actually led to the making things official, because whilst he
was in the talking stage with Lily, this girl that
he met on Tinder years before kept just popping up
in his life in random situations. So he was at
the front of his house and he lives by the water,
and she just happened to be sitting on a bench nearby.

(16:56):
Then she kept rocking up at the beach where he's
a lifeguard. It even got to the point that she
delivered him a handwritten letter which said can we give
things a go? And listed all of these dates that
she wanted to go on with him. And it's clear
that this girl really bothered Lily because she just said,
oh my god, sucked in eye one and all these sorts.

(17:17):
But isn't it funny because they're stead of talking about
this girl being a stalker. But then it seems a bit,
you know, not saying Lily was a stalker, but she
did rock up at the Sunshine Coast on her little holiday.
And maybe he incites this kind of behavior and girls,
because he is obviously a really nice guy, but there
must be something he does to make all of these
girls hooked on him. She was saying what a gentleman
he is, and that from day dot he treated her

(17:39):
so beautifully and held her hand. Do you think that
he kind of made out that this Tinder girl was
a stalker, but he was really just seeing her at
the same time. That's what I thought, because so when
this girl handed him the letter saying I want to
do all these things with you, Lily said, well, why
didn't you just fother off and say you have a girlfriend.

(18:00):
And apparently it was that comment that made him think, oh, okay,
well maybe.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
You are my girlfriend, Lily. So it wasn't really the
most romantic story of how they got together.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
See to me, if I was looking at this in
a black and white situation, it sounds like he was
tating two girls at the same time.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Came to the point when we were at to pick one.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
I love when you go to a wedding and the
celebrant gives you the whole spill on how the relationship
first started, and they're able to twist and make it
so beautiful.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
I want to hear this story. Do they mention the stalker?
If they get married, well, I would love to know
the stalker side of things.

Speaker 1 (18:31):
Imagine being classified as this tin the stalker when you actually,
perhaps genuinely had a relationship with this person. I am
really interested to see how their relationship progresses because they
are doing long distance at the moment, and Jet does
live with his family, So I think that things will
start evolving more if they actually move in together, because
they were talking about how their plans are to buy

(18:52):
a house with each other in a couple of years time,
so it'll be interesting to watch.

Speaker 2 (18:58):
I've got some wise words that Cincinnati matter.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
Travis Kelsey has been labeled a himbo after decade old
tweets of his have emerged. So usually when old tweets
are dug up, it's not good for the person. And
while there have been a handful of tweets that haven't
aged well, overall, the swifties are happy as they're mostly
very wholesome. So for those of you who haven't seen
the tweets, Travis basically just tweeted anything that popped into

(19:24):
his head in the twenty ten So I'll give you
an example. One of his tweets that have gone viral says,
I just gave a squirrel a piece of bread and
it straight smashed all of it. I have no idea
they ate bread like that. Ha ha hashtag crazy. Another
said the moon looks crazy tonight. I'm gonna chill out
for a little while and just visualize my success and

(19:46):
vibe to the scenery. Another one simply read USA is
pissing me off. I'm confused why everyone's so shocked by
these tweets, because in the twenty tens, that's the sort
of shit.

Speaker 2 (19:57):
That people wrote.

Speaker 1 (19:58):
It's so random what people you use to put on Twitter.
I find it interesting that these comments are being classified
as himbo comments. So for those who don't know, a
himbo is like the male version of a bimbo. So
maybe ditzy, airheaded comments that have said these are just
general observations that people would make on Twitter ten years ago. Yeah,
but when you compare it to the tweets that Taylor

(20:18):
Swift was making at the time, there is a big difference.
Taylor was writing these beautiful things that were so deep,
and then you've got Travis talking about a squirrel.

Speaker 2 (20:27):
He also spelt squirrel wrong.

Speaker 1 (20:29):
It's the comparison that makes it funny, because I think
a lot of us weren't having really deep and meaningful
thoughts back on Twitter ten years ago.

Speaker 2 (20:37):
I think it's this whole contrast.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Yeah, it is interesting when you consider the two men
that Taylor Swift has been linked to since her breakup
with Joe Alwen. So you've got Travis kelce who's been
labeled as a himbo and a Golden Retriever boyfriend, and
the Swifties absolutely love him because of it. And then
you've got musician Matt Healy who has deactivated his Twitter
account countless times because he's always saying really problematic things,

(21:02):
and the Swifties instantly hated him, they rejected him, and
it wasn't long until Taylor Swift dumped him. So these
two guys have completely different brands. I find it so
funny because we've heard so much about Travis Kelcey and
Taylor Swift's relationship. We've been given a front row seat
into how their romance has played out. Yet we are

(21:23):
also intrigued. It's like a drug to find more. Okay,
let's go and look at his Twitter comments. What else
can when we find out about this guy? Even though
he literally has a podcast that he puts out every
week where he drops stuff about Taylor Swift. It's because
everyone feels like they're Taylor Swift's friends, so they're doing
that background search making sure he's good enough for Taylor.
In regards to his old tweets, I just love all

(21:43):
of the brands that have jumped on board all of
the publicity around it, because you mentioned that he spoke
about his love of Taco Bell and they've been replying
humorous things, and so have a lot of other restaurants
like Olive Garden, who he was very impressed with their
I think it was their fetichini. Do we think that
someone has just stumbled on these tweets or they've sort
of been pushed into the right hands, because we know

(22:04):
how good Taylor's PR team are because they're on top
of everything. Because before there were even whispers in the
media that these two were going out, I'm sure that
Taylor's PR team would have gone through everything with a
fine tooth comb making sure that there were no offensive
comments on his page because they want to be really
strategic and make sure he is this wonderful guy with

(22:25):
golden Retriever energy that everyone loves. I don't agree because
they let her date Matt Haaley. Yeah, but a lot
of people are saying that that was strategy so that
then her next relationship was so well liked.

Speaker 2 (22:36):
I don't think so.

Speaker 1 (22:37):
I mean a lot of people have said, oh, this
is a PR relationship. I don't actually think it is.
And it is important to note that since all of
these funny tweets have popped up, there is a subreddit
thread that is claiming that there were some problematic tweets
regarding him being fat phobic and calling girls ugly, so
it's not all positive. I don't think any PR team
wants to be digging up old tweets.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
I am interested to know that.

Speaker 1 (23:00):
Do we like the fact that Taylor is dating a himbo?
Because I actually love that Taylor is dating a himbo
because twenty twenty three is the year of the himbo.
Think about the Barbie movie and how Ken became the
breakout star, and it's all about these powerful women that
are independent, they're successful, but they're dating a himbo because

(23:20):
it actually really works with them. So many people have
spoken about how this relationship is different for Taylor, and
I think it's because she's dating a himbo and she
hasn't before I totally get where you're coming from, because
a lot of fans have pointed out that it's so
exciting to see one of Taylor's boyfriends actually publicly supporting
her and showing up to her concerts. I mean, particularly

(23:41):
because he is an NFL player. Usually we see you know,
wives and girlfriends in the stands cheering them on, so
it's really special to see him cheering her on. The
only thing I don't like about this whole himbo tag
is there's sort of the inference that Taylor's quite happy
to have someone who will just coast along and not
challenge her. And that's what I think is dangerous because

(24:01):
we don't know the ins and outs of this relationship.
Maybe he does really challenge her, and maybe they are equals.
I think that the whole himbo term almost puts him
in a lower category than her. I think what Kate's saying, though,
is that Taylor Swift is so powerful and there almost
needs to be a man that sort of. Obviously, Travis
is hugely popular in the NFL, but he's less of

(24:24):
a star than her, so he sort of needs to
take the back seat, and maybe that's what she needs
rather than you know, like the John Mayers of the
world who might.

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Be competing against her.

Speaker 1 (24:33):
Tamas isn't competing against her, and she's the star.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
He's speaker than Joe Allen though.

Speaker 1 (24:38):
Yeah, but she's had the brooding, intelligent John Mayers that
are over complicated. She needs a golden retriever boyfriend who
doesn't want someone to be loyal and reliable and have
a kind soul and be hot. And I think people
are loving Like you saw everyone going nuts about that
hug after the concert.

Speaker 2 (24:57):
He's fucking hot, he's buff.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
They love the fact that he he's bigger than Taylor
and he's embracing her.

Speaker 2 (25:02):
And a man. She needs a man.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
She needs a man and who cares if he's not
very bright and doesn't know how to spell squirrel.

Speaker 2 (25:07):
He loves her and he's nice to heir. I think
it's fucking great. I'm going to whisper Mama into Bamby's
hair while she sleeps Hofelle, she has some sort of
brain fart and says.

Speaker 1 (25:19):
Mama, I know, I look like I've been on a
fifteen day bender, but this one fucking pregnancy looks like
when you have four weeks to go. Indy Clinton has
four weeks to go in her pregnancy and is encouraging
her followers to guess her baby's name. So earlier this year,
Indy's baby name selection became talk of the Internet when
she and fellow influencer Molly May both called their daughter's

(25:40):
Bambi and now, for the record, Indy was first with
the name. So this year she's asking her followers to
guess the name of her unborn daughter. So for those
who don't know, Indy's son is called Navy, and she
obviously has Bamby, so everyone is predicting an unusual name.
I just can't believe that she's giving birth in four weeks.
It just feels it's like she gave birth to Bambi

(26:01):
the other day. How do we all feel about these
guessing games when it comes to influence as kids? Because
I think a lot of people are having a positive
reaction to this guessing game because she is such a
beloved influencer, because she really posts the reality of motherhood
on her channel. However, I feel like if another influencer
who perhaps was more controversial, was having this guessing game,

(26:24):
they might be being slammed for monetizing their child or
putting their child out.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
There for game.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
I think it's different because her brand is this chaotic
mum on Instagram and she hasn't produced these polished clues.
It feels very authentic, so let's go through the clues.
So she has said that the name is a short
name and it doesn't end in an e, sound like
Navy or Bambi.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
She's also shared a photo of.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
Her Christmas tree with a hint on it, so followers
picked up that there is a letter s ornament hanging
off the tree near the star. So this has led
a lot of people to guess the name might be
Stuff or Scout or Sunday. Indy has also shared a
photo of Bamby in the garden and asked if anyone
spotted the hint. So based on this, followers have been

(27:10):
guessing the name is Sage because it looks like there
is a herb garden in the background, so Sage the
s It's all coming together.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
I love the fact.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
That no one's just guessing Sally or Samantha or you
know what I mean. Like, it's just it's gonna be
an unusual name for sure. I was trying to think
of a Disney name with an S, but all I
could think of was Simburb, but that's a boy's name.
It's just such a branding opportunity for these new parents,
it seems to be, particularly those who have a following
to They always have to have a name that no
one else has. And that's why there was so much

(27:40):
controversy when she found out that Molly May also named
her kid Bamby, because you'd be like, fuck off, I've
just come up with this weird name. The guessing game
is very clever though, because it's adding so much engagement
to her page. People would be dming her all the time.
She does get so many replies and views on her story.
She shared recently a screenshot and I couldn't leave how

(28:00):
many people were engaging with her content. It just shows
what a strong following that she does have. In terms
of more guesses. She has shut down the name Sailor
because she said it would be too.

Speaker 2 (28:10):
Much with the name Navy.

Speaker 1 (28:12):
And it's pretty funny because an American TikToker has done
this whole intricate video where they're coming up with all
these different concepts and theories based on whether it's a
Disney theme or anything to do with Navy and it's
pretty funny because Indy has commented on the video saying
that the guess of Dove was the closest to the
name that she's picked.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Is it wrong that I don't really care what her
kids called? I do.

Speaker 1 (28:36):
I'm invested in this big time because I love seeing
her tiktoks. She actually shows the real side of motherhood.
It's not like a filtered thing like her kid's going nuts.
And I just like these unique names.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
I like her content.

Speaker 1 (28:50):
But again, I'm quite happy to wait for the four
weeks until I just find out what the name is. Like,
I'm not going to be doing a huge investigation into
what this unorned.

Speaker 2 (28:59):
Yeah, but you're probably not.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Into her content as much. I remember when Sarah's Day
was spoon feeding details about Fox's name. I was ready
for that name. Yes, Sophie, I think you're being highly cynical.
I think this is just a little bit of fun,
and I'm all for buying into the clues and seeing
what it is. She did provide an update on Monday,
sharing the photo of a Christmas tree and said that
thousands of people had guessed the hint, but surprisingly, only

(29:23):
two people have guessed the baby's name. So the unsuccessful
guesses are Rosemary, Lynnen Cyber Monday and Sunday cyber Monday.

Speaker 2 (29:33):
That's a good one.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
Well, I think that's all we've got time for. If
