Speaker 1 (00:03):
On today's show, Lillly Brown says she was betrayed by
Nicki Westcott and Lucy Jackson. Molly May opens up about
her low sex drive and you won't believe who. Shanni
Grimman sent a pr package to Hello.

Speaker 2 (00:16):
And welcome to Outspoken.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
It's your dose of the hottest influencer and pop culture
news twice a week. I'm Kate Torbert and I can't
believe we're actually talking about this, but it's officially less
than three months to Christmas and Haigs have unveiled their
epic Advent calendar. Now it is quite prizy. This calendar
is retailing for one thousand, two hundred and seventy five dollars. Look,

(00:38):
I know that Haig's is expensive, but this seems to
be a little excessive.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Who is buying this? I know it equates to around.

Speaker 1 (00:46):
Fifty three dollars per window, and I was like, surely
you get more than one chocolate. You do, but you
don't get heaps in it. Yeah, I wouldn't say that
you'd get fifty three dollars worth of chocolate in there,
because this calendar isn't actually that big. It's thirty four
cents meters high and twenty seven centimeters wide. It is
bigger than your traditional Advent calendar. But if I'm spending
twelve hundred dollars on.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
This, I would like it to be huge.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
I would actually like to go to Haig's and spend
twelve hundred dollars on chocolates and make my own Advent calendar.
I think that would be better.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
You would definitely get.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
More value for your money. My sister in law did
float the idea of having a little Haig's bar at
her wedding as a dessert bar, but I think when
she did the math, she was like, oh my god,
this is going to be absolutely obscene. I wonder if
they're not going to sell many and these will be
on super sale after Christmas. I reckon there's very limited
stock with these things. You do know Christmas is coming
when influencers start unboxing these lavish Advent calendars, and I

(01:37):
always wonder who was actually the audience for this, particularly
when we are in a cost of living crisis at
the moment. To be fair to Haig's, they have chosen
some very Christmas y chocolates that I would love to try.
So they've got these really cute little dark Christmas pudding
Brandy truffles. They look incredible. They also have a snowball
and a gingerbread biscuit style chocolate.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
Look.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
At least they're on theme. But again, I don't know
who is buying this.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
I am in the mood to do a really cute
makeup look today, so let's do it.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Shannee Grimman has proven she's well and truly over her
ex boyfriend Jonathan Sour. The Swim Where founder sent Jonathan's
current girlfriend and influencer Madison Woolley a PR package from
her label, Silk Swim. Madison proved there's no bad blood,
sharing a photo of the bikinis and tagging Silk Swim.
I was a bit surprised by this crossover, and it's

(02:26):
not because I think that Sharne is holding some sort
of flame for Jonathan Sour. It's more just because it's awkward.
It is pretty awkward. I do wonder how Madison felt
when she received the package, because if I think about it,
if I got a PR package from my partner's ex girlfriend,
I would almost feel like it was a bit of
a power play. It would definitely start a conversation, I think,

(02:47):
and it would kind of bring up old feelings about
the X because then suddenly they're in your life again
and they're being nice to your new girlfriend. You're like, oh,
that was pretty big of them. I wonder if Sharney
was doing it for a bit of a PR move
as well. I mean, I know it was a PR package,
but obviously it's going to get people talking.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
About her brand and her product.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Yeah, it's very strategic because actually is very clever. Because
I feel like Shany Grimmond is really waning in popularity.
We don't really hear much about her. I know she
is quite active on TikTok, but I feel like she
has lost a lot of the relevance she once had.
I mean, in twenty seventeen, she was the it girl
of social media, and now I don't really know much
about her life. I know she's still with Jacob Tompkin,

(03:27):
but that doesn't really capture me much. I'm not really interested. Well,
I suppose she doesn't really hang out with all the
influences that she used to. Yes, she still is friends
with Michael Finch and a couple of those guys, but
they don't have that big, powerful crew that they used to.
I wonder if Madison is going to do the same
thing and now give Shanny something from her clothing brand.

Speaker 3 (03:46):
I kind of just want to delve into the loose
and next situation, just briefly and again prefacing we've hashed
it out. We are all good.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
There is no beef, there is no tea.

Speaker 3 (03:56):
But I do want to just put it to bed
and let you guys know what happened.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Lily Brown has finally shared her side in the infamous
friendship breakdown with the wild Ones Nicky Westcott and Lucy Jackson,
the Pajama Entrepreneurs. Said she felt betrayed by the Happy
Hour podcasters and said it was a traumatic time for her.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Now.

Speaker 1 (04:14):
So rumors have been circulating for years now about their
friendship breakdown. It really has played out very publicly online,
and until now we've only really had information drip fed
to us by both parties in sort of subtle ways,
whether it's digs in the comment section or on Lucy.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
And Nicky's podcast.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
Yeah, people have really come up with their own theories
based on these little bits of information going into their friendship.
It was in twenty eighteen and twenty nineteen that was
evident to everyone on social media that Lily, Nicky, Lucy
and m Davies were part of a really tight friendship
group and they seem to do everything together, whether it
was traveling the world or attending a lot of festivals.

(04:52):
And they also seem to help each other out with
work opportunities, and they regularly appeared on each other's Instagram accounts.
Things really did take a turn when Lily went through
a breakup with her then boyfriend Jerome. Now after announcing
the breakup, Nicki and Lucy continue to publicly hang out
with Jerome, even posting very cozy photos with him, and

(05:12):
this caused a lot of tension online and confusion from followers. Now,
whilst there has been a lot of speculation about what's
gone on, Lily hasn't gone into detail about it until now.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Yeah, this was a very juicy.

Speaker 1 (05:25):
Episode on her podcast, so it was entitled Let's Get Real,
and Lily said she wanted to put the situation to
bed and give her side of things. And I thought
it was really interesting that she was even touching upon
this because in the first episode of her podcast she
made a bit of a comment saying that she didn't
want to give some people airtime. But this is exactly
what she's done. Yeah, I thought it was odd too,

(05:45):
because she kept reiterating that if people were there for Tea,
they weren't going to get it and she's not going
to air dirty laundry. But I feel like that's exactly
what she ended up doing. And I think that a
saw point for her is probably that Lucy and NICKI
have this hugely successful podcast and they've been able to
drop little snippets and sort of give a bit of
their side of things on the Fallout, but she really

(06:07):
hasn't had that opportunity because although she does have her
social media platforms like on Instagram and TikTok, I think
if you jump on and talk about a friendship bust
up on your Instagram stories, it almost feels very antagonistic
and like you're trying to call someone out. And I
think that a podcast is a bit more of a
safe space where you can go deeper on a topic

(06:27):
and it feels a bit more personal, and you can
also subtly drop things in other people's stories, So if
you're interviewing someone and they're talking about a friendship breakdown,
you can kind of add your narrative to it a
little bit without being so overt like you would if
you were doing on your story.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Now let's get into Lily's side of things. So she
explained that in twenty nineteen, at this point, Nicki and
Ollie Frost were single, but they started spending more and
more time together. Now he is an interesting one because
we have spoken a lot about him recently on the podcast.
He went into business with Tammy hem Bro's ex Matt Paul,
the other Matt, and there's been a lot of drama

(07:04):
about that because the business recently went under and Nikki
and Ollie have since gone on to get engaged. But
at this stage they were single and just starting to
talk to one another. Now, Jerome was good friends with
Ollie Frost and would hang out with him a lot,
and shortly after Lily and Jerome broke up, Lily said
that Nicky, Lucy, Ollie and Jerome started hanging out together

(07:25):
as a foursome and started posting content across social media.

Speaker 2 (07:29):
Here's what Lily said.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
I just was really taken back, to be honest, when
the four of them started hanging out like the two
girls and the two boys. I brought it to their attention.
We went and had dinner and sat down. They came
to Brisbane and we had dinner and was there and yeah,
I just like hashed it out with them and then
just let them know like how much it was affecting

(07:53):
me that they were posting all over socials them hanging
out with my ex boyfriend, like going to festivals with them,
seeing him on the cheek, and posted them on his
on their story, and then people were saying me the stories, saying,
what the fuck is this your ex boyfriend, that's a
pretty dog act whatever, which like, I don't give a
fuck about him, This is the whole This has nothing

(08:14):
to do with him, really, It's just more of the
betrayal of my two best friends who I did everything with.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
I'm kind of on Lily's side there.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
I would be so pissed off if I broke up
with a guy and then my two best friends looked
like they were almost out on a double.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Date with the guy.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
I feel like, if you're sharing it on social media
as well, given their profiles, you're essentially siding with that person. Yeah,
it sounds a big message. It almost sent the message
that Lily had done something wrong in that scenario. Yeah,
that they were all getting around Jerome to support him.

Speaker 2 (08:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
Now, Lily did go on to say that when she
voiced her concern with the situation, Lucy and Nicki said
that they respected what she was saying and they were
going to stop hanging out with Jerome and stop posting
about it.

Speaker 2 (08:57):
However, she said that it had the opposite effect.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
The post started ramping up and they continued hanging out
with him. It was pretty clear how much this affected
her because she said numerous times during the podcast that
she felt betrayed, and Lily did mention there was a
photo of Jerome kissing Lucy's cheek, So I wonder if
she was eluding that something was going on between Lucy
and Jerome, particularly how she said the two girls hung

(09:20):
out with the two boys. Yeah, I do think that
she was insinuating that, particularly because they were all single
at that point.

Speaker 2 (09:28):
It almost seemed like a double date situation.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah. Well, it was at this point that Lily really
started withdrawing from social media and she stopped sharing YouTube
videos and also stopped posting as much on Instagram. And
Lily said that this situation was the reason why, and
it left her feeling shattered and unconfident, and it was
really evident. The told that this friendship breakdown had on her.
She broke down in tears during the recording Let's have

(09:53):
a listen.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
And even talking about it now, I'm like, ah makes
me wonder cry, but I can't. I can't. Anyways, this
is so I should cry. Oh, I think it's different
to like deal with dealing with friendship like bust ups

(10:18):
in real life is obviously hard enough, but then when
you've got like hundreds of thousands of people. Mm, wow,
I actually am fine, Wow, sorry, got a little bit emos.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
This was a really refreshing side of Lily that I
don't think that we've seen before. And I think that
it was a really important conversation to have on her podcast.
While I do think she was airing a bit of
tea even though she didn't think so, I think it's
really helpful for young girls to listen to someone talking
about a friendship breakdown, because often we minimize the impact

(10:55):
that friendship breakdowns have on you. I mean, we always
hear about, oh, if you go through a breakup with
a partner, that that's such a big deal, But I
think a friendship breakdown.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
Is just as difficult.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Oh, and it's something that we all go through, particularly
in our early twenties.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
I think there's this period where you start.

Speaker 1 (11:11):
Moderating your friendship group and working out who you actually
see a long term friendship with, and that can be
really tricky, particularly if you're not the one making that decision. Yeah,
and for her, she really lost her ex boyfriend and
her two best friends at the same time. I am
glad that Lily remained friends with Em Davies, but I
do feel for em Davies because she is literally in
the middle of it because she's still friends with Lily,

(11:32):
Lucy and Nikki. I don't know how she does it
because normally when something like that happens, like we had
a similar friendship breakdown, not for the same reasons, but
we were in a big friendship group with a group
of girls and then there was this divide and two
of the girls didn't like one of the girls and
vice versa, and we almost had to pick a side,
and we tried to stay friends with everyone, but it

(11:52):
just does not work. It really doesn't. And during the episode,
Lily said that em knows what they did was wrong,
and they know what they did was wrong. I do
wonder how Em felt being brought into the narrative because
it would be awkward for your friend to say that,
perhaps if you.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Hadn't acknowledged it with the other two. I do wonder how.

Speaker 1 (12:11):
M Davies feels that this has been brought up all again,
because I felt like things might have been getting better
between the four of them, because Lily did appear at
EM's work event recently and it was clear that Nicky
and Lucy were also both there. So people are like, well,
maybe they're cool with each other, but I think this
is going.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
To rehash the drama again.

Speaker 1 (12:30):
Yeah. Well, in the podcast, Lily said that she did
congratulate Nicki when she got engaged to Ollie, and she
said that them getting engaged almost made the whole situation
make a bit more sense because that's probably why they
were all hanging out together. It would be a hard
peel to swallow, but I suppose it makes a little
bit more sense because it appears that Nicki was really
trying to impress Ollie and in turn except his best

(12:53):
friend Jerome.

Speaker 2 (12:54):
Yeah. I did really.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
Enjoy this style of episode from Lily. It was interesting
to see her so to pull down the facade and
say what's actually going on in her life, because she
spoke about how she made a lot of bad financial
decisions off the back end of bad financial advice, so
much so that she could no longer afford to pay
her gym membership.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Here's what she.

Speaker 3 (13:14):
Said, I literally almost lost everything at the end of
last year. So yeah, that in itself like not being
and I even when I was literally scraping the bottom
of the barrel, like could barely afford my rent, had
to obviously move to the Gold Coast, almost got my car,

(13:34):
moved all myself into storage unit. I just was always
making sure that I had enough money to go personal
training three times a week.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
I think it's so important for influencers to actually open
up about their influence of lifestyle because so many of
us to see it as this glamorous life where they
have so much money and they can.

Speaker 2 (13:54):
Buy whatever they want.

Speaker 1 (13:55):
But that's actually not the reality, and every life has ups,
and so it is nice that Lily has finally spoken
about some of the downs that she has experienced, because
sometimes you just think they get everything so easily. Yeah, well,
I don't think that anyone expected the past twelve months
has been this difficult for her, particularly having to move
to the Gold Coast because she couldn't afford her rent.

(14:17):
And I think it is just also the reality of
starting a business, because she did reveal that to get
her pajama business Chill, off the ground, she invested seventy
thousand dollars, and.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
She said overall she's put.

Speaker 1 (14:29):
About two hundred thousand dollars into her business and continues
to do so. I found her putting those numbers to
the business really interesting because I've never heard an influencer
actually say how much they've invested in their business. And
I think it's quite refreshing because a lot of us think, oh, yeah,
they've just started up this business, like you know, it's
all easy for them. But it clearly had an impact

(14:51):
on her.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
I suppose it.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Also gives an insight into the type of money that
she has earned along her career. And it's interesting she
said she couldn't afford her rent because a lot of
influencers got into this position where they were so used
to having so much money coming in that they would
rent these massive houses that would cost thousands and thousands
of dollars a week, and they would also be always
buying designer gear and they've got used to that excessive spending,

(15:15):
and then I suppose now when they're not earning as
much or they're not as relevant, they have to learn
how to actually live on a normal way.

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
She also mentioned that she used to spend one hundred
and fifty dollars a week on the gym and having
personal training, and to me, that sounded like a huge
amount of money. And it just shows the pressure that
is on these women to appear on social media looking
a particular way. Yeah, it is a very expensive lifestyle,
particularly when you're trying to make your life look so
perfect online challengers. Are you ready? Gladiators? Are you ready?

(15:49):
The cast of the Gladiators revival has been announced and
it includes an influencer's boyfriend, Iron Man and male model
Jet Kenny, who dates Lily Brown, has been cast as
a gladiator. Now it's not known what his gladiator name
will be, but he was dressed in a crop top,
tight fitted pants and a faux fur cape. They must
be paying him a lot to get up in this outfit.

(16:11):
I mean, he's obviously a very fit looking guy. He
was able to pull off, but I wasn't expecting the fur.
The fur was a different touch.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
For me, and the makeup was quite out there as well.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
They are meant to be channeling the nineties Gladiators, so
I loved this show back when I was a kid.
It aired between nineteen ninety five and nineteen ninety.

Speaker 2 (16:31):
Six, and it was epic.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
My favorite growing up was Storm and Volcan. For any
other nineties kids, they might remember them too, and it's
weird to think that they were probably the it models
and athletes of the time. They did try and revive
the show back in two thousand and eight and they
had Tiffany Hall on as a gladiator, so she was
the trainer from The Biggest Loser and she was called Angel.
I do love the names that they give them, but

(16:54):
it just wasn't the same as the nineties, so I
wonder how they're going to make it better. I did
see that they're going to bring back some of the
challenges from the ninety show, so they're going to have
the challenge, hang tough Jewel, the Wall, Powerable Pyramid, and
the Eliminator. Okay, for those who can't remember them, my
favorite was the one where they both down on these
podiums and they'd have these big sticks and they basically.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Just try and hit each other off. I think that's
called the jewel.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I do remember there was another one, and we used
to recreate it at sleepovers with our friends, and it
was that tunnel that you had to run through and
they're all standing there with those like padded sticks.

Speaker 2 (17:30):
I forgot about that one.

Speaker 1 (17:31):
I was also thinking of the one at the end
when they have to do all the different challenges and
they'd always have monkey bars and they'd have to put
their hands in some sort of powder just so they
could do the monkey bars. I remember doing that so
often as a kid at school. Well, that put my
hand's in the bark chip. That one's called the eliminator.
There was also that one. I think it is hang
tough when they had to do sort of monkey bar things,

(17:51):
but they were like circular hooks and they had to
swing across, but then out of nowhere a gladiator would
be chasing them and rip them down. Off this I
always remember, the contestants would have these really skin tight
outfits on and it was pretty unforgiving for some of
the men because I feel like they patted out the gladiators.

Speaker 2 (18:08):
Outfits were not the bulges.

Speaker 1 (18:10):
Yeah, I am excited to see how this show does go.

Speaker 2 (18:14):
I know our dad was really excited for it. I
think it would be a good family show.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Yeah. Well, Jet is going to appear alongside eleven other athletes,
including a couple of footy stars, CrossFit champions and also
a Hollywood stunt woman. And I love the fact that
Liz Ellis is going to be hosting this show alongside
the host of the amazing Race Bo Ryan.

Speaker 2 (18:33):
Liz Ellis is very of.

Speaker 1 (18:34):
The moment because she did win, I'm a celeb and
of course she is a very successful Australian netbuller and
all time legend. This is going to appear on Channel ten,
which is the original channel that it aired on back
in the day, so I really like the nostalgia of
it all.

Speaker 2 (18:48):
This will take you back.

Speaker 1 (18:49):
So if you've got the full list of Gladiator names,
so there was Commando, Condor, Cougar, Force, Hammer, Predator, Taipan, Tornado,
Tower and Volcom So they were the male contestants. The
female were Blade, Cheetah, Delta, Electra, Flame, Fury, Glacier, Rebel

(19:10):
and Storm God. That brings back a lot of memories, guys,
I literally had the best euro Summit. Now officially that
influencer Talia Scaines has revealed the plans for her epic
Ballei villa. So Talia and her partner Jake Sajano moved
to Bari at the start of the year and for

(19:30):
the past six months have been building a villa to
permanently live in.

Speaker 3 (19:33):
Now.

Speaker 1 (19:34):
Talia's partner, Jake, he runs a development and construction company
in Bari called The Villas, so his company is behind
the whole build and as influencers do, Talia has made
a home account for the villa and she's also given
the villa a name, so it's called Cassa Su which
means home at the end of the River, which is
quite fitting because the villa is located in Illawatu and

(19:56):
overlooks Dreamland Beach. I'm glad she's learnt from her past
mistake because she did buy a villa with her ex
boyfriend Mitch Third and they called it Villa Tami, which
was a collaboration of both of their names. So I'm
glad she's done something a little bit different. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Now, this villa is incredible.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
It spans across three levels and it has the most
grand entrance, so it's just in the building stage at
the moment, but she did take her followers for a tour,
and this isn't your run of the mill villa. The
bottom floor has a cinema and a gym, as well
as a guest bedroom, and then the second floor has
a kitchen with a six meter island bench top and

(20:32):
a massive pool and outdoor area that forms this balcony.
And then on the top floor, it's made up of
three master bedrooms, all with en suites, walking robes, and balconies.
I do wonder if they're going to have friends live
with them, or if they're going to rent out some
of the rooms, because this house is too big.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
For two people.

Speaker 1 (20:51):
I couldn't get over how massive this villa was. I've
never seen one that big, and the view was just
so incredible. I'm assuming it's because he owns this construction company,
so he's going to give himself the best feeler possible.
When I was in Bali for my honeymoon, I just
got so nervous walking past the construction sites because there
was a big sign that said the aim is zero accidents,

(21:12):
but I feel like they rarely hit that because you'd
see construction workers with no shoes on there was no
safety gear and they'd be standing on the top of
this huge ledge with no infrastructure around them. It's just
incredible how they managed to build these amazing villains. Yeah. Well,
she was just walking around the construction site in a bikini.
Looked like she had no shoes or no construction hat.

(21:33):
So yeah, it's really interesting to watch the process. It
doesn't look like they'll be in the villa anytime soon.
There's a lot to do, but she has been sharing
some inspo photos on her Instagram and it's very much
a European feel, that's what she's describing it as, and
everything inside the house is pretty much white and beige,
with a lot of marble and a lot of stone finishes.

(21:54):
I always wonder how people go living in Balley because
I was there for a week, as I mentioned, and
I loved it, But I don't think I could live
in Balley. No, I was wondering how it would go.
It seems to be working well with her job and
her partner, Jake, has actually previously lived in Balley before.
They seem like quite a cute couple because they're both
just as obsessed with Bali as one another.

Speaker 2 (22:15):
They've actually met in Balley, but she never seems to
actually be home in Balley.

Speaker 1 (22:18):
She's always in Australia or she was traveling Europe with
a lot of brands. Yeah, but I think it works
for her career because she probably doesn't get sick of it,
and then when she is at home, she's got a
really beautiful backdrop to shoot content for her bikini line
with very true I just yeah, I don't think I
could do it.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
I answered a question whats on my YouTube about was
a love lining in a business move for you? And
it is tricky for me to say the right thing
without upsetting people. But I didn't go on that show
to find love.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Molly May and her sister Zoe Haig have opened up
about their sex drives and also their experiences with cosmetic procedures.
During a recent YouTube video, they did put a call
out to their followers asking what they wanted vice on.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Now.

Speaker 2 (23:01):
I think that I've.

Speaker 1 (23:02):
Ever heard anyone, particularly with a large platform like Molly May,
talk so openly about their sex drive before. She has
been opening up more and more recently, though, because back
in March last year, she did share that she was
battling endometriosis and that the condition was actually making it
really excruciating to have sex with her partner, Tommy Fury,

(23:22):
And this was so brave to talk about because if
you're in the public eye, people always want to talk
about your relationship, and there's so many rumors regarding their
relationship and a lot of bullshit about cheating. And I
feel like talking about the fact that they didn't have
sex that often because it was painful was opening up
a can of worms.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
But she wanted to do so to help out her followers.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
Yeah, because Tommy is often away on different camps to
do with his boxing, so they actually aren't under the
same roof a lot, which, as you said, Kate, does
lead to a lot of speculation. So I think it
was really brave for her to put herself out there
and have this conversation, which is so important. Now, Molly
did undergo surgery to try and alleviate some of these
symptoms and.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
It has seemed to work. It's funny.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
I always know when Molly's gonna say something juicy on
her YouTube channel when she puts a disclaimer saying, oh,
I didn't know if I should talk about it because.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
I don't want to deal with the headlines. Let's throw
to what she actually said.

Speaker 4 (24:16):
I actually dread the things I'm gonna come from this video.
Mollie may say she hates sex, No I don't.

Speaker 3 (24:22):
I don't.

Speaker 4 (24:23):
Oh God.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
I really like that Molly was brave enough to have
this conversation because I think in the past few years
we've really seen this wave of sex positive feminism where
women are feeling more liberated to talk about sex and
the idea of enjoying it isn't something to be ashamed of,
which I think is really positive. But I think it
has left some women wondering why, perhaps for them, sex

(24:45):
isn't at the top of their priority list, or why
they don't seem to have as much desire as other
women do online, and whether that's normal or not.

Speaker 3 (24:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
And Molly did say that she'd spoken about this with
her friends before, and it actually left her feeling worse
about the situa because none of them could relate to
what she was feeling. So I think she has put
it out there to be like, well, this is how
I feel, So if anyone's feeling like me, you're not alone.

Speaker 3 (25:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
And I think it really highlighted that if you are
feeling a particular way you should talk about it with
your partner, and it doesn't mean that you're any less
attracted to them at all. On the flip side, Molly
said that when she was pregnant with Bambi that her
sex drife went through the roof and it was actually
Tommy who wasn't reciprocating things because he felt strange about

(25:29):
their daughter technically being there. Molly did say at the
time it did make her question whether Tommy was still
attracted to her.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Here's what she said, When.

Speaker 4 (25:38):
I was pregnant and I want to have sex all
the time and Tommy didn't, I do not find me attracted.
That's god. I wanted to have sex and I'd be like, yeah, no, literally.
And also I always say to Tommy like, if I'm
not feeling it or whatever, it's like nothing to do
with you as a mere problem. It's literally a problem.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
It was also interesting how they spoke about their relationship
with cosmetic proceed just because both girls have been very
open about what they've had done. They did say that
every time they've had something done, it seems to have
gone wrong. They weren't so much against cosmetic procedures, they
just wanted people to be open minded and realized that
this is actually something serious. You are doing something to

(26:17):
your face and you might react negatively to it, because
Zoe said she's had a number of allergic reactions, so
she was allergic to cheek feeler. Apparently she got it
done and her whole face blew up like a chipmunk.

Speaker 2 (26:29):
Oh my god.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
And then she had botox done to kind of calm
her crows feet down, and she said that then it
stopped her from being able to smile. But they did
acknowledge that it looks great on some people, it just
doesn't seem to work for them.

Speaker 3 (26:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:42):
Well, I mean that is a good message because over
the last ten years, social media has really glamorized the process,
and it is important to know that things can go wrong.

Speaker 3 (26:50):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
I think that cosmetic procedures have almost become something like
just getting your hair done. It's sort of just this
routine that you go and do. It's something in your schedule.
But I think that the lot of people don't talk
about the negative side effects that can happen. I mean,
I go on TikTok and I hear everyone talking about
the botox that they're getting in their forehead or for
their crows feet, and I do feel a lot of pressure.

(27:12):
I think, you know, getting into your mid thirties, you
start thinking why I want to keep looking young? You know,
you feel this pressure that you want to look like
everyone else. And you know, I do also think that
the botox forehead it almost comes with an element of
privilege and you think, oh, wow, that person must be
really rich because they can afford to go and get
that done all or you just assume that anyone that
looks young has had botox when it might not.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Be the case at all.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
And again, absolutely no shade to anyone who gets it done,
because I do find myself like, oh, you know, getting
interested in seeing people people's results, but I like to
be reminded that it is a process.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Some people can have negative reactions.

Speaker 1 (27:49):
So the reality check of you know, you have to
choose the right person to do it. And Molly May
and Zoe they have access to probably the best people
in the industry, and yet there's having issues with it.
So it's not so black and white that you're always
going to look great after having it. And that is
a concern because I think that whilst we don't want
to be shaming anyone who chooses to go and get

(28:10):
cosmetic procedures, because it is one hundred percent your decision
if you want to get that done. I also think
that we still need to be having important conversations about
you know, putting out that there are risks, you need
to be choosing the right people.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
To do it.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
You need to really research what procedures you're going to
get done. And I think that's why it's really important
that there are more guidelines in place at the moment.
And I do like how there seems to be a
trend on TikTok of people sharing the failures as well,
like everyday people saying, oh, actually I got my lip
filler and it looks ridiculous on me and I hate
it because you haven't seen that side of things on

(28:42):
social media for so long. Well, I think that is
all we have time for today. Thank you so much
