Speaker 1 (00:01):
Tammy Hembro is Australia's most talked about influencer. At nineteen,
she made it big on social media when she shared
her fitness journey whilst pregnant.

Speaker 2 (00:11):
This is my first blog again, so he might be
a little bad. I don't know if it's going to
be boring or what, but hope you guys enjoy it.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Tammy's life is far from boring. The fitness influenzer and
her family are Australia's answer to the Kardashians. In fact,
she's even been involved in a few Kardashian scandals herself.
A model explains why she had to leave Kaylie Jano's
Los Angeles birthday party in a stretcher. By sharing her
life online, Tammy has attracted over twenty million followers and

(00:43):
built an empire worth fifty million dollars. What has really
kept her followers glued are her romantic relationships. Over the
last ten years, the internet has borne witnessed at three engagements, three.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
Children, one epic wedding and now a.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
Divorce, Amy and Kate torber And. In this special Outspoken series,
we explored the real story behind the rise of Tammy Hembro.
When we last Left You. Matt Sakowski had just publicly
apologized to Tammy Hembro on his podcast for messaging another girl.
He divulged to his listeners that they were in couples counseling,

(01:20):
and they must have had a fantastic counselor because a
month later they were holidaying in Barley with Tammy's ex,
Reese Hawkins. So at this point, Reese was living full
time in Barley, so the trip provided him with an
opportunity to spend some time with his kids, Wolf and Saskia,
And it really was the ultimate display of co parenting,
with Tammy sharing wholesome videos to her Instagram story of

(01:42):
her Matt, Reese, and the kids all hanging out together
at a beach club. I remember being so surprised when
these photos popped up, and I just thought, how did
Reese and Matt get along? Like, how do you play
this one? If you're Matt? I mean, if you were Matt,
it would be super awkward. But at that time, he
was obviously really trying to impress Tammy and win her
back over. Yeah, he was probably on his best behavior

(02:04):
and seemingly in a bid to prove his dedication to
Tammy after the cheating rumors, he got her name with
a love heart tattooed on his hip to match the
one Tammy got two weeks into their relationship. So he
shared the new tattoo in a photo dump to his Instagram.
And it's always a great idea to go and get
inked just after a cheating scandal, to show how much
you love yeah, your girlfriend.

Speaker 3 (02:25):
I know well.

Speaker 1 (02:26):
By June, wedding plans were back in full swing, but
things weren't running to plan, so influencer Sophia Beg, also
known as Sofa Dofa, ended up accidentally leaking the wedding
invite in her weekly YouTube vlog, so in the midst
of an unboxing, Sofa excitedly showed the camera a close
up of the wedding invite, which gave away key details. Now,

(02:48):
it didn't take long for influencer watchdog account influencer updates
Au to share a screenshot of the invite from the vlog.
Amber did quickly take it down, though upon Matt's request.
It's likely Tammy or Matt also reached out to Sofa,
as the portion of the vlog revealing the invite was
swiftly deleted. In terms of the league, Sofa accidentally revealed

(03:10):
that the wedding was on the twenty third of November
in Byron Bay. However, luckily, the wedding's venue location was
admitted from the invite, as Matt had already revealed on
his podcast that it was remaining a secret until the
last minute. Unfortunately for Tammy and Matt, though, the details
that were leaked was enough information for Supus Loose to
find the online version of the invite, which gave even

(03:33):
more details away. So it included the ceremony time, dress code,
where the guests were staying, and the recovery details. Funnily enough,
people were really shocked by two details that actually appear
on most couple's wedding invites these days. So the first
was that Tammy and Matt were having a wishing well.
So seven News ran with the headline Ozzy AFR rich

(03:54):
lister Tammy Hembro worth fifty million asked for donations at
an upcoming wedding to reach reality start. Matt Sakaus really
did air dirty with the term donations. It was blown
out of proportion because the invite literally rated your presence
on our day is the greatest gift of all.

Speaker 3 (04:09):
However, if you.

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Would like to gift us something, a wishing well will
be at our wedding for your contribution and well wishes.
This reminds me a bit of Chloe Kardashian's wedding to
lamar Odem. I mean, they were worth absolute millions and
they still had a gift registry. It's not like just
because you're worth a lot of money that no one
gives you a gift for your wedding. I think the
difference with that scenario, though, is the Kardashians and lamar

(04:32):
Odom probably all have really rich friends. Where I'm guessing,
particularly Matt's side of the family, they're probably not worth
millions and millions of dollars. And I don't want to generalize,
but I would think that most of the people attending
Tammy and Matt's wedding probably earn a regular wage. So
I think that's why people were like, oh, what does
she need the money? But a lot of influences were
also invited that would have been worth a pretty penny true.

Speaker 3 (04:53):
I mean, I think it.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Was absolutely fine that they had a wishing well. I
just want to know who got the money, Like, did
they split it down the line, did they use them
money on their honeymoon? I also want to know how
much did people give them, Like, was there just some
cheeky fifty bucks going or you know, did people actually
spend hundreds and hundreds on them.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
Well, at the.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Time, there was speculation that the couple were asking for
thousands of dollars, and they actually refuted those claims on
Matt's podcast. Now, the second detail the surprise people was
that the wedding was child free. So a lot of
people thought it was a bit strange considering that Tammy
has three children herself. I mean, obviously her own children

(05:30):
attended her wedding. Yes, spoiler alert, they were the Flower
Girls and Page Boy. I mean, I get this, though,
there's a difference between having your child screaming during the
ceremony as opposed to someone else's kid. Now, in late September,
two months out from the wedding, Matt Zakowski decided to
have his future sister in law's Amy and Emily join
him on his podcast. And I don't know what he

(05:53):
was thinking, because it was a shit show from start
to finish. Amy and Emily iconically called Matt out during
the interview. They couldn't have made it any clear of
how much they hated him. Yeah, they literally called him
an immature baby, and so that they have massive concerns
about their relationship. Emily even revealed that the Hembro family
had had a crisis meeting after they learned that Tammy

(06:15):
and Matt had planned a lope after dating for just
three months. Here's what Emily said.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
When you guys said you were getting engaged, I was like,
he must be that delusional. I was really concerned because
she is, like, she's spontaneous and she's a fun spirit,
and she likes to do what she wants to do.
But for a guy to come in and think that's
okay when she's got a one year old, like I thought,
that was a big red flag.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
It's just interesting going back over all of these details
and being like, how did this wedding even go ahead?
Like how were Emily and Amy able to stand up
there next to Tammy and be bridesmaids? It just blows
my mind. Emily also had a serial chat to Matt
on Mike about the importance of marriage, and I feel

(07:04):
like this clip is really haunting Tammy at this point.
Here's what Emily.

Speaker 4 (07:07):
Said, I just hope you know, marriage is a serious thing. Yeah,
it is actually a serious thing. And like, I hope
you don't make any mistakes, Like I really pray and
hope that you don't do anything to hurt Tammy.

Speaker 5 (07:26):
I'm not gonna hurt Tammy. I have no intention of
hurting Tammy.

Speaker 1 (07:30):
It's just why I'm listening back to this and knowing
how quickly this marriage disintegrates. And I just love the
look on Emily's face, Like when Matt's like, I'm not
gonna hurt Tammy, her.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
Face is just like fuck off, Like you clearly.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Are I mean, how do you listen back to that
and still air this podcast. And we spoke about this
a couple of weeks ago on Outspokens regular episode, and
people were like, oh, it was clearly a publicity stunt.

Speaker 3 (07:54):
No, it wasn't.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
Like yes, okay, it did get Matt attention, but you
don't want this negative, yeah attention when you're legitimately wanting
to get married to somebody.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Now.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
October twenty twenty four was a massive month for Tammy
and Matt. At the start of it, the couple created
headlines for dramatically unfollowing each other on Instagram days out
from their Hens and Bucks weekend. So Tammy's account actually disappeared,
but within an hour it was back up and she
was just following one less person, her fiancee. And interestingly,

(08:31):
at the time of the unfollowing, Matt was visiting the
markets with his sister Emma, who also unfollowed Tammy. Now,
amid the drama going on behind the scenes, Matt found
time to post a photo to his Instagram story of
a Dashound merchandise store at the markets. He wrote, what
a cute Dashy store. Now, this post probably seems pretty

(08:52):
inconspicuous if you don't know the backstory, but Matt's ex girlfriend,
Genevieve Ward, who he dated just before Tammy, as a
dashound that he lived with and he was quite obsessed
with this dog, and they also planned to open their
own Dashound business together, so it seemed like a pretty
loaded Instagram story to upload when he was fighting with Tamamy.

(09:13):
What I took from this was he was either sending
a subtle message to Jen saying I want to be
back with you, or he was taking a dig at
Tammy because Jen was possibly a point of contention in
their relationship. Yeah. Now. Despite the unfollowing, Tammy's Hens and
Max Bucks went ahead. On October the fifth, twenty twenty four,
Matt had a dress up party at Top Golf. He

(09:34):
actually came dressed as a convict. Well. Tammy went for
a long lunch with close friends at a fancy house
on the Gold Coast. The couple then met up to
do their joint Hucks celebration at a Palm Beach residence
and unsurprisingly, The Daily Mail sent paps around to Tammy's
event and they didn't leave disappointed. So they managed to
get photos of the couple looking like they were having

(09:56):
a tense conversation. So in one photo it looked like
Tammy was crying. The Daily Mail ran with the headline
what really happened at Tammy Hembro's Hens party that saw
her crying and fighting with Beyonce Matt Szakowski. Now. The
Daily Mail quoted an anonymous source who said Tammy was
visibly upset and Matt was trying to comfort her, but

(10:16):
it was clear she didn't want his affection. The insider
also claimed that they had a big blow up which
had been brewing for a while over Tammy wanting a prenup.
I just think this whole story was actually blown out
of proportion. I think what happened was the perhaps got
a shot of Tammy and matt that looked bad and
they ran with it, because when you looked a bit deeper,
there were other photos of them in the same spot,

(10:38):
laughing and hugging each others. So yeah, I think it
was blown out of proportion well, particularly because they went
off and celebrated together afterwards. Tammy ended up addressing the
rumors in a TikTok video. She labeled the claims that
she and matt were fighting over prenup as completely and
utterly made up, and said that they were in agreement
from the get go that a prenup was needed. Here's

(10:58):
more of what she said.

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Firstly, like I cry at the drop of a hat, happy, sad, excited, nervous, scared,
anything whatever. And in those photos that they literally pressed
in the article, we're literally hugging. That's like, I just
I just can watch with these articles. Anyway. The article
goes on to say that the reason is because we

(11:25):
there has been weeks of tension because Matthew will not
sign a prenuptial agreement. This could not be further from
the truth, like we have not once, Like a prenupp
has not once come up in argument for us. We
agreed pretty much straight away that we would get a premum.
It just seemed like a smart thing to do for

(11:46):
both bearsis like, it wasn't something that we have ever
thought about once, literally ever. So yeah, this rumor is
completely and just utterly made up, like it's there is
no truth to it whatsoever. So yeah, literally not once
have we ever in our entire relationship thought about a prenup.

(12:07):
Like that's a non issue to us, So I don't
know why it's an issue to.

Speaker 1 (12:10):
Everyone else, considering we are going to be going through
divorce proceedings between Matt and Tammy. It's fascinating that this
is all on the record. It's quite funny because a
lot of listeners have messaged us saying, do you think
Matt Sakowski can take Tammy Hembro's fortune. I mean, we're
not divorce lawyers, but I'm pretty comforted in the fact
that Tammy has publicly said she got a prenup. Let's

(12:33):
just hope that the terms are good now. By late October,
Matt found himself at the center of another cheating scandal,
and this one started when Matt posted photos of himself
on a private jet with a bunch of mates en
route to Sydney. So people began speculating that Tammy had
funded a weekend away from Matt while she was away
on a travel retreat with fans in Greece. So the

(12:55):
shit hit the fan when photos of Matt talking to
several women at a bar in Sydney emerged on Reddit,
and it didn't take long for the Daily Mail to
run with the headline Matt Sakowski spotted chatting up a
mystery brunette in Sydney after boozy private jet flight while
Tammy Hembro is away in Greece. I'm still amazed at
the Daily Mail's ability to write such along headline. Now

(13:18):
it turns out Matt was actually on an influencer trip
with a private jet company called flight Club, and while
Matt didn't declare the partnership, he tried to tag the
private jet company but accidentally tagged flight Center instead. So
it turned out the women he was photographed with were
influencers invited on this trip and not some random women

(13:38):
he just met at a bar in Sydney. And that
is why influencers really need to declare their partnership, because
people were so confused about what.

Speaker 3 (13:46):
Was going on.

Speaker 1 (13:47):
Now Matt came out and he denied he was flirting
with the women. He commented on a gossip forum post,
claiming that the women were his mates. He said they
have the same management company who have met at events.
He added, the women are engaged and they were talking
about wedding prep and comparing proposals. Now, one of the
women featured in the candidate Snaps with Matt Amy Pekeovich

(14:07):
backed up his story, riding high, I am one of
the random girls. Matt and I have the same agent,
Slash Management. This was a brand event. Mingling with other
people that were also invited is normal behavior. You'll need
to chill out. Lifestyle influencer Olivia White, who was also
on the trip, defended Matt's behavior, saying vision she had
shared from the event was used to build a false narrative. Now,

(14:30):
if things couldn't get any worse. Just weeks out from
the wedding, Meghan Pistetto dropped a bombshell expose about Matt
on her podcast So Dramatic. In the episode, she alleged
Matt was a serial cheat who auditioned for Love Island
UK while he was still dating his ex girlfriend, Genevieve Ward.
Meghan also alleged she had spoken to sources that claimed

(14:51):
Matt was still in a relationship with his long term
girlfriend Genevieve when he started dating Tammy. Now. That source
turned out to be Genevieve herself. At the time, she
didn't want to be identified because she claimed Matt threatened
to sue her for defamation. Recently, though she's given Megan
quotes on the record. Now, Matt and Jen's relationship timeline

(15:12):
has always been a bit murky, Unlike the high profile
relationships were used to seeing Matt in Jen is what
you would consider a normy girlfriend and I hate using
that term, but what I mean by that is she
didn't have a public profile nor tried to build one
off the back of Matt Now. They went public with
their relationship in August twenty twenty one, but in May
twenty twenty three, Matt announced that Jen had broken up

(15:35):
with him on his podcast. At the time, he explained
they were still in contact, but the relationship was over.
According to Matt, they had been giving their relationship another
go since being on and off during twenty twenty two.
Here's what he said.

Speaker 5 (15:51):
Yeah, Jen and I have broken up. It's sad. I
guess we broke up for pretty much the reason we've
been on and off since late last year. We were
giving it another go across boundaries that I disrespected her
in ways that look I'm not proud of it. And

(16:13):
when I actually it sounds like I cheated on her
or something that nothing like that happened. It was nothing
like that. It was more just in a way I
wasn't loyal to her in situations that I should have been.
I definitely lost my way. I think that I was
brought into cultures that are a younger version of me
and I should have been more true to who I

(16:34):
am now. And yeah, not done that stuff. And obviously
it was too much for both of us, mostly her,
and she broke up with me.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Matt also revealed since the breakup that he'd moved back
in with his mum but remained on good terms with Jen.
Jen's story was of course different to Matt, so she
claimed she broke up with Matt because he auditioned for
Love Island UK behind her back. She also claimed Matt's
podcast co host Anna McAvoy encouraged Matt to audition for
the show behind her back because she allegedly thought it

(17:07):
would help benefit their podcast, and according to Jen, the
couple continued to date until September twenty twenty three. In fact,
they had allegedly agreed to be exclusive and we're even
starting a dashound business together or while Matt was allegedly
dating Tammy behind Jen's back. Now that Dashhound post Matt
made when he and Tammy unfollowed each other just seems

(17:27):
even more.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Sasti than it really does now.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Jen was absolutely shocked when the photos of Tammy and
Matt at the hotel went viral. She told me in
bistetto that Matt would visit her at work every second day,
they would have lunch together, he sent her flowers. Apparently,
they'd also have sleepovers, go on dates, go on holidays,
and even spend every weekend together. I mean, I can
see why she was so shocked. Where did he find

(17:51):
the time? I suppose Tammy being on the Gold Coast
would have helped. Now, according to Jen, four weeks into
Matt's relationship with Tammy, he was calling Jen NonStop and
on her doorstep begging for her to take him back,
and it got to a point where Jen ended up
blocking his number and also Matt on all social media.
It gets worse. The date of Tammy and Matt's anniversary

(18:13):
is the same date as Jen's birthday, and why this
matters is because in August twenty twenty three, Matt and
Jen celebrated her birthday together with a staycation at a hotel.
Side note, it's claimed Jen Paige for the hotel room.
Jen was then shocked to discover Tammy posting about her
and Matt's one year anniversary on her birthday the following year.

(18:35):
I mean that really indicates to me that perhaps Matt
was using Tammy for fame. Surely that was one of
the big motivators. Oh, definitely, particularly when Jen revealed that
Matt told his friends that he still loved her but
the dating Tammy would be huge for his career. It
also ties in with the claims of Matt having a
pr relationship with Kira Maguire as well as him auditioning

(18:56):
for Love Island while he was still dating Jen. So
when Matt was on Love Island, he went on and
on about his type being brunettes with big boobs, two
attributes that Jen has, while Tammy and Kira they're both blonde.
I mean they've got big boobs, but you know, only
one of the two things that Matt is so strongly for.
It's such an ick for me when men point out

(19:17):
that their type is just big boobs.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
You're just like, Okay, I.

Speaker 1 (19:21):
Know it's a thing on Love Island where they all
talk about their types, but at least be like Jashon
who's on the current series, and be like, oh, I
love someone that's attractive on the entire and out like,
come up with something a little bit better with like, oh,
big boobs and bro hair?

Speaker 3 (19:35):
What the hell?

Speaker 1 (19:36):
Now? Shortly after the episode went live, it was taken down.
Amigan pissetto claims that she was forced to remove the episode.
On Instagram, she wrote, my Matt Szakowski episode has been
taken down by the powers that be. If you would
like to listen to these episodes in the time being
until I sought things out, you will have to listen
to them on Patreon now. Jen was quick to respond,

(19:58):
writing underneath Megan's post, trying to silence you like he
did me. He knows I have the print screens, and
she added a crime of laughter emoji. Meghan quickly re
shared Gen's comment to her Instagram story and added a
poll asking her followers if she should publish the evidence.
Their response was a resounding yes. Still waiting for the evidence,
so I wonder if it will come now. After obviously

(20:20):
being bombarded with questions, Meghan followed up with another post
that read, for the record, the episodes were not taken
down by me, and not taken down because of lawyers
or defamation. I can confidently back all claims in both
episodes up with evidence. I will explain why these have
been taken down in due time, but it has nothing
to do with me not being able to back up
the claims in the episode. Now, it turns out that

(20:42):
Megan and Matt both were signed to the same podcast network,
and Meghan recently claimed in an episode of So Dramatic
that Matt got her fired from the network for doing
the episode on him. It was an interesting move by
the podcast network because Meghan Pastado's podcast continuously ranks Matt's
SO and the fact that Megan had been working with

(21:04):
his podcast network way longer than Matt. He only recently
signed to that network, clearly off the back of his
relationship with Tammy. I don't think they would have been interested.
It'd be interesting to see what happens to the podcast
now now. Matt didn't publicly acknowledge the episode. Instead, he
stoked the flames on TikTok, uploading a video with Tammy
with the caption imagine talking shit about us when we

(21:26):
just at sushi train like this now. Someone actually tagged
outspoken in it and wrote, Outspoken, we're looking at you.
Matt replied, saying there is a couple of them going
around trying to make a dollar off of us. We
ended up replying we're looking forward to the wedding of
the year, which we really were at the time. I
found Matt's commentary rather ironic when you consider everything that's

(21:46):
gone down Now, two weeks out from the big day,
Matt really began milking the wedding for content and sponsorship deals.
Not only did Tammy make another appearance on his podcast
to talk about the big day, but he also shared
back to sponsored reels using the wedding as a hook.
The first one was an ad for oxy Shred to
do it justice, Let's throw to some of the ad.

Speaker 5 (22:10):
The only thing that I've been stressed about leading into
my wedding is my web shred now jokes aside. I've
been using oxy s tread now for a couple of months.
I knew this would be my go to when trying
to lean up for the big day.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
The fake laugh like was he referring to the stress
of all the speculation that had been happening or just
wedding planning now. The second reel was part of an
ongoing partnership with a numbing cream brand. Ironically, Matt did
an ad with the company earlier in the year to
help him get through the process of removing a tattoo
of Genevieve's name from his ass. This time around, he

(22:44):
used it to numb his skin before getting a tattoo
dedicated to the wedding. I mean, clearly he doesn't learn
from his mistakes. The tattoo in question said always and
forever and.

Speaker 3 (22:54):
Was written in tammy.

Speaker 1 (22:55):
Hembrose Hanradi says, another opportunity for NUMBERT to be a
sponsor when he has that one removed. No, there's just
ongoing deals here. Let's row to the ad.

Speaker 5 (23:04):
I wanted to get a tatoo to dedicate my love
to my fiance. But the pain I was not about.
I wanted to enjoy this sentimental moment and not think
about the sting of the tattoo. So I have partnered
with Numbing Cream which is number one numbing cream in
Australia pharmacies.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
Side note, Tammy Hembro has the most gorgeous handwriting that
Everlia does. It's on par with megamarcles. Now the wedding
content from Matt continued. He shared a reel of his
final farewell with Tammy before the big day and someone commented,
you're pooh, Matt, and weren't you trying to get back
with Genevieve while you were seeing Tammy? Lmao, we've seen
her screenshots now. Matt responded, what screenshots? Two people talking

(23:46):
about me? Anyone can do that? Show me messages from
my number dated Please won't find it because it never happened.

Speaker 5 (23:54):
Now.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
On the twenty third of November twenty twenty four, Tammy
Hembro married Matt Sakowski in Byron Bay. The wedding took
place at a French inspired luxury estate on the outskirts
of Byron Bay and controversially the Daily Mail were the
first to publish photos of the newlyweds after flying a
drone over the ceremony. I mean, is not totally surprising

(24:16):
that the paparazzi were able to track down this wedding,
considering Sofa Dova accidentally leaked the inverie month earlier. As
if the Daily Mail ended up getting aerial shots of
the ceremony, which immediately got people talking due to the
strange setup. Yeah, it was pretty unusual because Tammy and
Matt did their vows standing on the top row of
these grand stairs in front of the chateau, and it

(24:38):
looked absolutely stunning. But the issue was that the bridal
party and guests were so far away from the action.
So the bridesmaids and groomsmen stood on a lower level
far away, and as for the guests, they were even
further away, seated within the swimming pool enclosure that was
fenced off within a hedge. The guests also went even
facing the bride and groom. They were set either side

(25:01):
of this pool facing each other, so they had to
crane their necks to watch the ceremony. Then they were
the unlucky guests who had to stand behind the seated guests.
As for Tammy's kids, they were seated within this pool area,
despite the fact that Saskia and Posey were flower girls
and Wolf was a paid I saw a video with
Matt and Tammy after the wedding and they were both saying, actually,

(25:22):
everyone had a great view of the wedding.

Speaker 3 (25:24):
It just looked weird from the aerial shots.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
I wonder if the guests actually back up what Tammy
and Matt said or if they were just being poor.
There were also a lot of questions around how Tammy
actually walked down the aisle because the pool was in
the direct path. I thought with the budget Tammy had,
she may have had a perspect runway so she could
have walked across water to get to Matt. However, she
ended up walking down one of the sides of the pool.

(25:49):
Tammy also had to do the walk by herself because
her dad, Mark Hembro, missed the ceremony at the last
minute after pulling a ligament in his leg at the hairdresser.
So he'd gone to get a haircut the day of
the wedding and felt something snap in his leg and
ended up in hospital. He arrived at the reception on crutch.
Maybe that was an omen It was like a warning

(26:10):
so many omens. Now, as for Tammy's dress, she wore
three so the ceremony dress was the most iconic of
her looks. It was a Vera Wang blush pink gown.
It had a corset bodice with an elaborate chill train
and a very long ivory veil. It's believed the dress
was gifted to Tammy by Vera Wang. So back in February,
she shared vision of her trying on wedding dresses at

(26:32):
the designer's Sydney store, despite declaring a month earlier in
Matt's podcast that she'd already bought a dress. Now, unexpectedly,
the dress that Tammy ended up choosing from Vera Wang
was actually off the rack. It wasn't a custom gown,
and the dress was called the Vera Dress, and it's
five years old. It retails for twelve eight hundred dollars
and it was actually the last dress that Tammy tried

(26:54):
on at her appointment. And as soon as she put
it on, she said she felt like a princess. She
also really liked the fact that it wasn't white. She
said it appealed to her because her relationship with Matsakowski
wasn't a conventional one. Overall, the dress seemed to be
a big hit. Many of our listeners at the time
said she looked straight out of the Barbie movie and
that she'd never looked better. As for her other wedding looks,

(27:17):
she finally had her white moment wearing the Camille gown
from Vivian Westwood as for a third look. It was
designed by Carla Gill and featured Chantilly lace detailing and
along Georgette side train. Now, if anyone likes these wedding dresses,
as we mentioned on our podcast this week, Tammy is
currently selling them, you just have to hit her up
via DM.

Speaker 5 (27:37):
Well.

Speaker 1 (27:37):
One thing that's going to take longer to get rid
of is the wedding tattoo. So Tammy joined Matt in
getting a custom tattoo for their marriage. She got their
wedding date tattooed on her wrist. This is the deal
that just keeps on giving to this mumming cream company.
I wonder if they'll ditch Matt and sponsor Tammy. That's
at least two tattoos she'll need remove now from her body.
This is why I can't stand when people get their

(27:58):
partner's names tattooed on them. You just never know what
is going to happen. I mean, you'd hope getting a
tattoo to celebrate your wedding would be a surefire thing
that you wouldn't have to get that removed. I mean
in saying that, isn't the stat like, over fifty percent
of marriages and in.

Speaker 3 (28:13):
Divorce, how many ended tullis?

Speaker 1 (28:16):
Yeah, But with Tammy, I mean she got the first
one two weeks into their relationship. What was she think? Well,
maybe because she had that one, she was like, fuck it,
I'm just gonna go all in.

Speaker 5 (28:25):
Now.

Speaker 1 (28:25):
Getting back to the wedding, there were a bevy of
influencers in attendance, including Ruby Tuesday. Matthews. M Davies was
also there and she broke the no kid rule by
bringing her newborn daughter, Eiler. Lily Brown was also there,
and of course Matt's co host Anna McAvoy.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
Anna ended up being accused of trying to steal the
spotlight from Tammy because she wrapped up in a navy
gown with a plunging neckline and a thigh high split. Ironically,
Tammy was accused of doing the same thing at Ana
McAvoy's wedding earlier.

Speaker 2 (28:55):
In the year.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
The Daily Mail always accused someone of trying to steal
the freaking spotlight at a wedding. Ridiculous Now, Sofa Dofah
was a notable absentee. As we touched on earlier, she
was the reason the wedding invite got leaked. Tammy and
Matt actually spoke about having to cut the guest list
back on Matt's podcast. I wonder if she was one
of the first to go. She ended up attending a
friend's twenty first instead that weekend. Now, a lot of

(29:18):
people were dying to see the official wedding photos from
the day, but we were left waiting because Tammy and
Matt's post was delayed due to them signing an exclusive
deal with Vogue. I mean, thank goodness of the Daily
Mail being the pricks that they are and flying that
drone over so we got the unofficial photos from the day.
But I really did want to see the professional photos
because there was a lot of chat about The Daily

(29:38):
Mail turning up the saturation and Tammy's dress not being
as pink as it appeared in the drone shots. Can
you imagine how pissed off Vogue would have been that
they got those shots. Oh, they would have been so
mad in saying that, though they did get all the
details thanks to an in depth interview that they did
with Tammy, they ended up sharing sixty three photos from
the big day as well. Another part of the deal

(30:00):
with Vogue was the announcement post. So interestingly, it was
just Vogue and Tammy who collaborated on the official wedding post.
Matt was not a collaborator or even tagged in the post.
His name was simply how because he is not as
big as Tammy Hembro Or is this because Tammy had
already blocked him by the state this stage, Yeah, two
days after the wedding, they weren't following each other. I

(30:20):
want to know if this Vogue spread was the nail
in the coffin, because TikTok is a buzz with this
theory that Vogue weddings are more likely to end in
short lived marriages, with couples divorcing usually a year or
less later. It's called the Vogue curse, and it seems
legit in this even I just think this marriage was
cursed from the start. I don't think it had anything
to do with Vogue. I think you're right now. In

(30:41):
December twenty twenty four, Matt and Tammy surprised their followers
by honeymooning in Lapland, so they bucked the trend of
going somewhere tropical and enjoyed an early white Christmas. And
I think it was at this point where Tammy's fan
started to get a bit of a soft spot for
Mat because their honeymoon content was next level. They shared
the stunning views of the northern lights, and the TikTok

(31:03):
content was pretty epic. They were playing in the snow
together doing all these really cool Christmasy things. At one
point they even got stranded out in the cold because
Matt forgot to bring the key card down with them. Well,
I think that a lot of people were just surprised
that the wedding had gone ahead, and so we kind
of had to go through this stage of well, let's
accept this relationship. Yeah, people are probably like, oh, maybe
it is the real deal now. In the new Year,

(31:24):
Matt really overshared about his honeymoon on his podcast. He
said that he and Tammy had sex under the northern lights.
So on the first night of their honeymoon, He said
they got woken up by their tour company to let
them know that the Northern Lights were visible. So, after
viewing the once in a lifetime attraction, Matt said he
and Tammy returned to their hotel room and ticked something
off their bucket list. Here's what he said.

Speaker 5 (31:48):
But then we came back to the resort and we
went into the spa at like two thirty am and
we literally watched the Northern Lights dancing above USA. Made
love on the northern lights. That's a bucket list fun.
There too much honeymoon, give us a preak. So that's
a bucket list thing.

Speaker 1 (32:07):
Only making love part we want to hear about.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
Yeah, so under the northern lights, that's a cool thing
to do.

Speaker 1 (32:13):
That's pretty. That's a pretty good way to consummate the marriage.

Speaker 5 (32:16):
Yeah, it was. It was cute. Yeah, it was nice.

Speaker 2 (32:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
I mean, can anything be private these days?

Speaker 1 (32:23):
Yeah, I'm sure Tammy loved that tidbit being released to
the public.

Speaker 3 (32:26):
Now.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
In late January, media publications were a buzz with reports
Tammy and Matt had a public spat at the Australian Open.
So Tammy and Matt were being hosted by Chemist Warehouse
and given VIP suite seats worth nine hundred and fourteen
dollars per person. So news outlets reported that patrons were
shocked by the couple's behavior. A witness told The Daily

(32:47):
Mail they heard Tammy say get your stuff out of
my house. Another onlooker commented, one thing is for sure,
The Australian Open won't be having them back next year.
Tammy ended up turning to the Gold Coast without Matt
while he stayed in his hometown of Melbourne partying with
his friends. Tammy was then spotted without her wedding rings. However,

(33:09):
it didn't take her long to act like nothing had happened,
as she shared a date night with Matt at the movies.
Over the next five months, breakup rumors continued to follow
the couple. It was really clear that they were on
a break at the very least, with Matt relocating back
to Melbourne and working his old job at his dad's
pool company. Yeah, and he was also a notable absentee

(33:30):
at key family events including Tammy's birthday, Wolfe's birthday and Easter.
Then you had the couple constantly unfollowing and re following
each other as well as Tammy posting with and without
her engagement ring, and it seemed like it was only
a matter of time until a break up announcement was
coming when Tammy's best friend Isabelle laws unfollowed Matt on

(33:50):
Instagram not to mention. When Tammy and her sisters launched
their supplement companies Selfish, and Matt was nowhere to be seen.
He was either Mia from his socials posting about going
to the movies by himself. He threw a spanner in
the works in May, though, when he appeared on the
Inherited podcast where he spoke about the importance of being
a stepdad and his relationship with Tammy. Is likely though,

(34:12):
that that episode was pre recorded. Yeah, it was a
bit of a strange move from Inherited. They're normally so
good with the people that they choose to interview, but
they got a bit of backlash for including Matt.

Speaker 5 (34:21):
Now.

Speaker 1 (34:21):
On the twenty second of June twenty twenty five, Tammy
announced the news we were all waiting for. She was
divorcing Matt Sakowski after seven months of marriage and after
five episodes. It is at this point where we are
going to wrap up this deep Dive. Over the last month,
we have covered the divorce announcement as subsequent fallout in depth,
So if you are new here and haven't heard those episodes,

(34:42):
check them out in our back catalog from June and July. Amy,
I'm absolutely exhausted. I have been in the world of
Tammy Hembro since March putting this deep dive together. Yeah,
I feel like this is just on pause though, because
there's can be so much that comes out over the
next couple of months. I'm sure we will cover it
in our episodes on Outspoken. Yes, I'm sure by Tuesday
we'll have something new to talk about with Matt and Dammy. Now,

(35:04):
next week we're going to be making people feel very
nostalgic because we are dropping our deep dive series on
Freely The Banana Girl.

Speaker 3 (35:11):
Gosh, what a blast from the past.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Yeah, it was wild to go back and look at
this time, particularly under the lens of twenty twenty five. Like,
I cannot believe some of the things that went on
back in the twenty tens.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
We can't wait to share that with you now.

Speaker 1 (35:26):
This episode was recorded on the traditional land of the
Ghana people of the Adelaide Planes.

Speaker 3 (35:31):
We pay respect to elders past and present, and.

Speaker 1 (35:33):
