So when we last left you, it was Father's Day
at twenty twenty and Tammy was taking potshots at her
ex Rhys Hawkins. It turns out she was actually gearing
up to hard launch her new boyfriend. So on the
nineteenth of September twenty twenty, Tammy made things Instagram official
with Australian iron man Matt Paul while holidaying together in
the Wit Sundays. Tammy shared a selfie with Matt to

Instagram and then a week later she added a grid
post of her kissing Matt that read two Tauruses in love.
Matt followed suit, sharing a picture of him kissing Tammy
while enjoying a boat cruise, and Tammy commented, hey lover,
what a launch now.

Later that week, Tammy debut Matt on her YouTube channel,
filming a boyfriend girlfriend tag video, and in it, they
shared interesting insights into their new relationship. So it turns
out they first met in Bali at Finn's Beach Club's
third birthday party in July twenty nineteen, and they were
just friends at the time, but sparks flew when they
saw each other again at Lucy Jackson and Nikki Wescott's

their first kiss at the party, and Matt claims that

I was like can you I was like, you can

it text me and I was so annoyed, playing hard.

Yeah, and he seems to treat her nicely now as well,
now that they're co parenting.

Is it just because our expectations are so low with

and he was trying to make up with Tammy and
she didn't say it back to him until their holiday
in the Wit Sundays, which is when they went Instagram official.

so there's a slight chance she could have been watching

Because that aired in October twenty nineteen. She could have
been late to the party. The next Australian series didn't
air until October twenty twenty one. It also could have

of series airing in twenty twenty. I'm thinking was probably
the UK one. She's all over the Australian one.

For a date now. On the topic of reality TV,
since twenty eighteen, fans have been calling for the Hembros
to have their own Kardashian style reality show. It really
just seemed like the natural progression with the Hembros being
touted as the Australian Kardashians, and in early twenty twenty one,
Tammy excited her fans when she confirmed a Hembro reality

series was in the works. So the Hembro sisters and
Matt Paul all shared behind the scenes snaps of camera
crews at their houses.

Well, Tammy's ex Raci also had his own exciting announcements,
so in March of twenty twenty one, he and London
welcomed their first child together, Stone Hawk ands Kate. What
did you think of that name?
Speaker 5 (06:53):
Look, we discussed it in depth at the time, and
I think listeners won't be shocked to hear that. I
was not a fan of the name. I'm used to
influencers giving their children unusual names, but this one really
took the cake.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Well, it sounds pretty normal compared to some of Nara
Smith's baby names that she didn't use. I don't know
if you saw that TikTok floating around.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Look, I suppose five years on, maybe Stone is a
little bit more normal. But at the time there was
a big reaction to this name, which forced London to
come out and explain why they chose it. However, the
explanation didn't really help the situation because she simply said
they picked Stone because they'd never met or known anyone
with the name. I'm not sure that's a massive endorsement
to name your child that.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, And later on London got slammed for giving her
son the worst nickname when she referred to him as Stoner,
so in an Instagram story, she wrote Stoner Babe, I
love you? Is that just an Australian turn? Could she
have gotten confused?

The father of the child was Australian, so I'm pretty
sure Reese would have flagged it. Perhaps he just was
a pushover with names, because in the first episode, Sophie
and I discussed how Tammy came to him with the
name Wolf and he didn't really like it to begin
with them. Then he was like, yeah, I suppose.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Well, I think the woman should get to choose the name,
to be honest, because they're doing most of the hard work.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
Yes, I agree. And it's pretty interesting because reesea London
actually ended up getting married shortly after their engagement in
September twenty twenty so Rees dropped the news. In December
that year, on London's birthday, he shared a birthday message
to her and just casually referenced her as his wife,
and he was immediately flooded with questions about what was

going on, and he responded to a comment saying, we're married.
We will have a proper wedding after COVID.

It really was a period of big life changes for
Reese Hawkins because four months after the birth of Stone,
he and London attempted to move to the US. So
while London and Stone were able to get in easily
because London is of course a citizen, Reese was unable
to get into the country because he wasn't vaccinated against COVID.

At the time, your vaccination status was such a big
thing and a lot of influencers were being slammed for
being unvaccinated, so there was an lot of sympathy there
for Reese Hawkins when he couldn't get into the US
with his wife and child. Instead, he ended up in Switzerland,
and London and Stone tried to enter Switzerland but were
actually turned away at the border because she wasn't vaccinated.

It turned out that Reese had just gotten in just
in time before the law changed. He just had to
pass a positive PCR test.

in Mexico without London and Stone. I almost said pebble then,

Twenty one, Tammy confirmed during an Instagram Q and A
that she had the kids full time now that Reese
lived overseas.

So back to Tammy and Matt Paul. After dating for
just over a year, Matt proposed to Tammy in November
twenty twenty one, and it was perfect timing with the
reality TV film crew capturing the moment. So Matt organized
a surprise luxury boat ride for Tammy and her children,
Wolf and Saskia, and initially Tammy was sharing updates to

it Instagram story from the boat, so she posted a
selfie in a bikini. She also posted a photo of
a bottle of champagne and videos of her kids. She
then shocked her followers by revealing that she was engaged.

And it really was the perfect background for the film
crew because Matt had decorated the luxury yacht with red
roses and petals, and it was really sweet because he
got both of the kids involved. In the proposal, so
they held up a sign that said Mummy, will you.

I can't actually believe that this proposal was four years
ago because I vividly remember all of the images from it,
like that photo of Saskia and Wolf and the ring.
Oh my god, that is my favorite engagement ring of Tammy's.
It was this beautiful ovalcut diamond with little smaller diamonds
around the band.

It really was a stunning ring, and Tammy announced the
news to her followers, writing I'm in shock, honestly have
not been able to stop crying happy tears. Yes, yes, yes,
my love, and tagged Matt Pool.

Funny enough, Tammy and Matt ended up following in the
footsteps of Reese and London, and two weeks after their engagement,
announced that they were pregnant with a baby girl. So
Tammy uploaded a video to Instagram of her revealing her
baby bump with Matt, Wolf and Saskia, and she captured
the video our hearts are so full now.

A few months later, during a routine pregnancy scan, doctors
discovered that Tammy's baby had an extra finger, so she
had six fingers on each hand.

It's actually a genetic condition. Called polydactyl which is a
condition that runs in the Hembro family. So Tammy, Amy,
and Emily were all born with extra fingers, as well
as Tammy's brother and mum. Emily's child, Gabriel, also had
an extra finger, but Tammy's had it skipped Wolf and Saskia.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yeah, so it turns out that this scan showed that
the baby's extra fingers were a lot more developed than
other members of her family.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
Yeah, so shortly after the baby was born, she did
have the fingers removed, just like Tammy and her sisters did.
It's pretty cute because Tammy has explained in the past
that her sisters and her were left with little scars
on their fingers, and growing up they just assumed that
everyone had the same I don't.

Know what I'd do if I found out my child
had an extra finger, because it could be quite handy.
I don't understand how it would be handy. Well, it
would have been Tammy to have an extra finger. She
could have kept all over her engagement rings and.

God moving swiftly along. In March twenty twenty, while Tammy
was organizing her overseas baby moon, speculations started mounting that
Reese Hawkins was refusing to sign their kids passport applications,
so on her Instagram story, Tammy revealed she was having
a stressful time trying to get Wolf and Saskia's passports renewed,
saying that there were some obstacles now when it comes

to children's passports, both parents need to provide consent, and
it seemed like Tammy's Instagram story led a follower to
ask Reese about his relationship with his eldest children. The
person wrote, so, why haven't you seen your first two kids?
Answer the question? Shut us all up? And Reese responded
because me and their mum have the most funcked relationship
on the planet and always have and it's not possible

white photo of him hugging Wolf and Saskia to his
Instagram story. So he hadn't actually shared a photo of
his kids to social media for years, Despite sharing photos
of his youngest son Stone.

Yeah, So that came off the back of him saying
that he wanted to keep his eldest children private, particularly
because now that they were getting older, they were more
recognizable and they didn't really want to be a part
of the content. Reese had also notably been absent from
his two children's lives during his relocation to the US
with London and Stone, and obviously Rees hadn't been around

Saskia and Wolf for such a long time since trying
to move to the US, and it appeared it was
the first time he'd actually seen them since coming back
to Australia.

Now, in June twenty twenty two, just weeks out from
Tammy giving birth, speculation was continuing to mount that she
and Matt Paul had broken it up. So it started
simmering back in April when photos emerged from Tammy's baby
shower of a decorative sign that said baby Hembro the
Third rather than Baby Paul, and by June the couple
hadn't been photographed together for over a month when Matt

slipped up and revealed they weren't living together. So it
all started when Matt hit back at a follower on
Instagram accusing him of not pulling his weight after Tammy
shared numerous Instagram posts and stories showing her on her
own and discussing how family had been helping with household chores,

but you really need to step up and pull your
weight around with Tammy. Clearly she is struggling with everyday
tasks and you were not there with her helping her.
Family had to go around to your house to help

adding I was around there today. You don't know that

The reference of visiting Tammy's house made it very apparent

that they were no longer living together now, in what
seemed to be a clear bid to stop break up speculation.
Days later, Tammy shared a sweet video of her kissing
and cuddling Matt in front of her pool as he
cradled her heavily pregnant belly. Matt wrote under the video,
come on out, little girl. It seemed to work.

The drama really continued for poor Tammy because, just days
out from giving birth to her third child, she was
rushed to hospital after being bitten by a dog. So
Tammy needed stitches and shared a photo of her bandaged
hand to Instagram. She didn't share how or when the
incident occurred. She wrote little update, lots of tears and
spent yesterday in hospital, but surprisingly not baby related. How

to clean out and stitches from a dog bite. Not
the best day, to say the least, but I'm all good.
Just sare now with her baby just days away from arriving.
She wrote, kind of glad baby hasn't made an appearance
yet because I pretty much can't do anything with his
hand at the moment.

Poor Tammy. She can't really catch a break here, can she?
No now. On the twentieth of June twenty twenty two,
Tammy gave birth to her third child, Posey Paul. Tammy
shared a collection of photos from her labor, which showed
that Matt and her sisters joined her in the birth suite.
Tammy captioned the photos the absolute hardest yet most rewarding
thing I've ever done, an unmedicated vback, No words, birth

story to come for now, just resting in my love
bubble with my perfect little girl. Wow. Now, for those
not across the terminology, a vback refers to a vaginal
birth after cesaian. It was actually after two cesareans for Tammy.
So that's an incredible thing to do.

Yes, we got some idea of just how painful this
was because Tammy shed a photo of her screaming while
in labor and wrote, you guys will get the full
sound version in my birth video. Real and raw screams,
and all my sisters were laughing because I asked if
I really have to push her out low.

Now, the ten minute blog didn't disappoint. I still remember
watching this at my old job with one of my
friends and we just kept having to pause it to
be like, oh my God, like to make comments. I
think we should actually throw to some of the screams.
A yeah, God, it just makes you so glad that

I recently listened to Steph Claire Smith's birth story on
her podcast and they included an upside of her screaming,
and I just was like, Wow, women have to go
through a lot of.

Shit they do. This vlog was pretty interesting for more
than the reason of just listening to Tammy screaming, because
you got the vibe that Matt really took a back
seat during the birth, so he didn't actually feature much
in the video, and Tammy's sister Amy cut the umbilical
cord rather than that.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Now, breakup rumors continue to follow Tammy and Matt in August,
and this was despite the fact that the couple traveled
to Bali together for Tammy's fitness retreat that she held
with journey retreats.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
Yeah, something just seemed off because Matt was spotted with
Tammy and the kids at the airport, but he actually
didn't feature in any of the photos in Tammy's Barley
photo dump. Matt did his own photo dump as well,
and Tammy was in one of the pictures, but they
weren't photographed in a couple shot together at all. However,
to the delight of their Instagram followers, they ended up
being photographed together at a wedding and posted that photo.

But the relief was actually short lived because the couple
just continued to unfollow and refollow each other, so everyone
was like, what is actually going on now?

As breakup rumors were intensifying, Reese Hawkins made a surprise
appearance at Saskia's sixth birthday party, and for the record,
Matt was at the party and posted about it on
his Instagram. It was the second time in two months
that Reese posted photos with Wolf and Saskia, and this
appearance with his children also coincided with rumors of his

own breakup with his wife London.

Yeah, so a month earlier, London appeared without her wedding
rings on Instagram and super slus also spotted that they
hadn't engaged with each other's social media content for months
and had unfollowed each other. So it wasn't really a
very good look that suddenly Reese wasn't with London and
he was visiting his kids. It made it seem like
London had stopped him from visiting them, which I'm not

saying is the case at all, but just the optics
weren't good at all.

Yeah, and it really seemed like was trying to restore
his reputation as a father because, in a deleted comment,
a follower remarked on Reese's absence, to which he replied,
I'm not an absent dad. Can you please stop saying that? Yeah,
and reading that at the time, it made it seem
like Reese was purposely sharing his kids again online as
an attempt to quieten the critics. Now just back to Tammy.

So in September, she added further fuel to the breakup
rumors when she dyed her famous blonde hair red.

We all know that when a girl makes a dramatic
hair transformation, something is going down. The relationship is not good,
either that or your postpartum. Then she was postpartum at
the time, So that's true.

But despite this dramatic hair change, Tammy and Matt were
photographed together that weekend at the Burly Festival with their
daughter Posey, as well as Wolf and Saskia.

Yeah, they looked really happy. They picked up a box
of oysters. They were eating ice cream. The Daily Mail
published some terribly suggestive photos of Tammy Hember eating ice cream.
I was like those bloody Priddics. And Matt was actually
at the festival running a food stool for his now
defunct restaurant with olive frost. Myman, isn't that just a
blast from the past. It was noted, though, that Tammy
wasn't wearing her engagement ring and there wasn't much PDA

coming from the couple. They did go to time Zone
after and documented that on their Instagram story. However, despite
all of this, Tammy didn't share a Father's Day post
about Matt on his first Father's Day, and to make
matters worse, Tammy's best friend Isabel Laws and Matt stopped
following each other on Instagram. Isabel Laws always seems to

and just a week after their public outing, Tammy followed
in her best friend's footsteps and unfollowed Matt on Instagram

because Tammy will just unfollow her boyfriends constantly.

good sign. Matt also a spotted celebraty the NRL Grand
Final in Sydney without Tammy, and then he attended a

It just seems like deja vu with everything that's gone
down with Matt Sakowski Reach.

The Daily Mail claimed Tammy told a makeup artist on
a photoshoot that it was tough being a single mother
of three. Apparently, she explained that she had to bring
Posey on set with her because she'd split from Matt,

If we fast forward to May, all eyes were on
Tammy's son Wolfe's birthday to see if Reese Hawkins would
show up, and he didn't. Disappoint so Tammy's sister Emily
shared a video to her Instagram story of recent Tammy
chowing down on burgers together.

Oh this was crazy to see, particularly because of the
timing of this reunion between them, because they were both
seemingly single and there were sort of flirty vibes between
the two of them. I think people were hoping that
they might get back together.

And it's also seemed like he'd gotten the green light
from Tammy's family, the fact that it was Emily sharing
the photo of them.

Together and she was like mum and dad like she
was sort of shipping the relationship I suppose as well.
And this resulted in a lot of people praising both
Reese and Tammy for their co parenting and getting along
so well for their children's sake.

Now, at around the same time the video of Tammy
and Reese e merge, Matt Paul made a snarky remark
on his Instagram. So he shared a photo of him
posing on a balcony and someone commented saying he should
use the photo for an online dating profile. He replied,
I don't need Tinder. I'm happy with the new upgrade
with a wink emoji face. Now, the backlash was swift,

but Matt claimed it was just a joke and he
was on good terms with Tammy. He wrote, calm your speculation.
The upgrade has nothing to do with what you were thinking.
The mother of our child and I are fine. I'm
single and certainly not miserable. Matt went on to claim
that the original commenter was a mate who sold him
a surfboard. The joke is the new board is my upgrade,

that now. In July of twenty two, twenty three, Matt
Paul Hard launched his new girlfriend, Mattie Woodward. He shared
a selfie of the pair cuddling on his Instagram story
and this was just months after he and Tammy broke up.

Yeah, so the photo showed them relaxing at the beach,
and moments after the news broke, Tammy shared a video
of her andner sister Ava miming to a song about
seeing your ex with a new woman. So the song
was called Angel Eyes and it sung by the cast
of Mamma Mia Here we go again, and the lyrics say,
one night I was taking a walk along a river

when I saw him together with a young girl, and
the look that he gave me, gave me shivers because
he always used to look at me that way. Now,
they filmed this video while they were holidaying Impositano. As
you can imagine, everyone went nuts and said that she
was trying to throw shade at Matt Paul and his
new young girlfriend. Tammy came out and denied the video
and said that she'd actually sent herself the viral song

and had planned a mime to it when they were
in Italy. Let's hear more of what she said.

directed at someone, it's shade at someone, or it's some
hidden secret meaning behind it. No, to me, TikTok is

I do now. In April of twenty twenty four, Tammy
broke her silence on her breakup with Matt Paul during
an interview with me A Friedman on her podcast No Filter.
When asked if there's been anything she's wanted to share
but hasn't, Tammy said her breakup with Matt Paul. She
said the reason and why she didn't talk about it

publicly was because she felt like a failure, having two
failed engagements involving children.

Now, as sof and I discussed in the first episode
of this series. Tammy also touched on her breakup with
Matt Paul briefly in her book, saying that it left
her devastated, and she wrote that ultimately her and Matt
weren't meant to be and while she wanted it to work,
it was beyond her control.

She then said this, I'm not going to go into
the ins and outs of our relationship. Obviously, we're human,
we're not perfect. We have ups and downs like everybody else.
I just wanted to let you guys know that we're
not currently together. I don't want people to think that

They're very complex. We love each other very much, and
we're always going to be a family. No matter what,

It's interesting to compare how Tammy dealt with her breakup
with Matt Paul compared to her most recent breakup now
with Matt Zakowski. She was so private about it. She
didn't even want to admit that they weren't together anymore,
and it seemed like the easiest thing for her to
do was just to pretend it wasn't happening. It's so
interesting that that was the strategy behind it, and it

kind of worked because Matt moved on, Tammy moved on.
They now have this really good co parenting relationship with Posey,
and Posey can look back and go, oh, Okay, my
mum and dad didn't fight it out in the headlines.

a baby involved makes this breakup very different to her
breakup with Matt.

Now, after all of that, it seemed like we were
set to get the best reality TV series, but alas,
it never eventuated. In an interview in twenty twenty four,
Emily Hembro revealed that her family pulled the pin on
the reality show. After seeing how they were portrayed in
the pilot Wow, So, she complained that they made the
family look so bad and it was fake dry. She said,

I feel like my family has authentic drama and problems
that are really relatable, and I don't know, I don't
think we needed the fake kind of stuff. Now, Emily
didn't name the network in case it breached their agreement.
I have to say that I think this network, whoever
it was, has completely fumbled this deal. It is a
travesty that we will not be seeing Matt Poole proposing

to Tammy Hembro and all of the manufactured drama go down.

It does seem like.

The reality show might not totally be off the cards
because just recently, the Hembro sisters were on a press
tour for the launch of their supplement brand and they
were asked by The Daily Telegraph about a potential career
shift into reality TV, and Tammy responded saying, if we

went on to say, I feel like it's not something

Amy said that the show would have to be right
and authentic to them. She said, we wouldn't want it
to be drama focused, and you know, like what a

off the books. So this has got me thinking. I

docuseries about you, similar to the one that Molly May

has just done, and it's not manufactured drama. It's following
you around and sharing your side of things. Given that
Tammy has just broken up with Masakowski, it is the

So when we last left you, it was Father's Day
at twenty twenty and Tammy was taking potshots at her
ex Rhys Hawkins. It turns out she was actually gearing
up to hard launch her new boyfriend. So on the
nineteenth of September twenty twenty, Tammy made things Instagram official
with Australian iron man Matt Paul while holidaying together in
the Wit Sundays. Tammy shared a selfie with Matt to

Instagram and then a week later she added a grid
post of her kissing Matt that read two Tauruses in love.
Matt followed suit, sharing a picture of him kissing Tammy
while enjoying a boat cruise, and Tammy commented, hey lover,
what a launch now.

Later that week, Tammy debut Matt on her YouTube channel,
filming a boyfriend girlfriend tag video, and in it, they
shared interesting insights into their new relationship. So it turns
out they first met in Bali at Finn's Beach Club's
third birthday party in July twenty nineteen, and they were
just friends at the time, but sparks flew when they
saw each other again at Lucy Jackson and Nikki Wescott's

housewarming a couple of months later. They ended up sharing
their first kiss at the party, and Matt claims that
Tammy chased him. Let's throw to what they said were at.

Controversial I actually posted a comment on one of our

But the logical side of me is like, no, Matt Paul,

Yeah, and he seems to treat her nicely now as well,
now that they're co parenting.

Is it just because our expectations are so low with
ree Hawkins. You know, he's gone off overseas, he barely

and he was trying to make up with Tammy and
she didn't say it back to him until their holiday
in the Wit Sundays, which is when they went Instagram official.

For a date now. On the topic of reality TV,
since twenty eighteen, fans have been calling for the Hembros
to have their own Kardashian style reality show. It really
just seemed like the natural progression with the Hembros being
touted as the Australian Kardashians, and in early twenty twenty one,
Tammy excited her fans when she confirmed a Hembro reality

series was in the works. So the Hembro sisters and
Matt Paul all shared behind the scenes snaps of camera
crews at their houses.
Speaker 2 (06:42):
Well, Tammy's ex Raci also had his own exciting announcements,
so in March of twenty twenty one, he and London
welcomed their first child together, Stone Hawk ands Kate. What
did you think of that name?
Speaker 5 (06:53):
Look, we discussed it in depth at the time, and
I think listeners won't be shocked to hear that. I
was not a fan of the name. I'm used to
influencers giving their children unusual names, but this one really
took the cake.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Well, it sounds pretty normal compared to some of Nara
Smith's baby names that she didn't use. I don't know
if you saw that TikTok floating around.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
Look, I suppose five years on, maybe Stone is a
little bit more normal. But at the time there was
a big reaction to this name, which forced London to
come out and explain why they chose it. However, the
explanation didn't really help the situation because she simply said
they picked Stone because they'd never met or known anyone
with the name. I'm not sure that's a massive endorsement
to name your child that.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Yeah, And later on London got slammed for giving her
son the worst nickname when she referred to him as Stoner,
so in an Instagram story, she wrote Stoner Babe, I
love you? Is that just an Australian turn? Could she
have gotten confused?
Speaker 5 (07:46):
The father of the child was Australian, so I'm pretty
sure Reese would have flagged it. Perhaps he just was
a pushover with names, because in the first episode, Sophie
and I discussed how Tammy came to him with the
name Wolf and he didn't really like it to begin
with them. Then he was like, yeah, I suppose.
Speaker 2 (08:01):
Well, I think the woman should get to choose the name,
to be honest, because they're doing most of the hard work.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
Yes, I agree. And it's pretty interesting because reesea London
actually ended up getting married shortly after their engagement in
September twenty twenty so Rees dropped the news. In December
that year, on London's birthday, he shared a birthday message
to her and just casually referenced her as his wife,
and he was immediately flooded with questions about what was

going on, and he responded to a comment saying, we're married.
We will have a proper wedding after COVID.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
It really was a period of big life changes for
Reese Hawkins because four months after the birth of Stone,
he and London attempted to move to the US. So
while London and Stone were able to get in easily
because London is of course a citizen, Reese was unable
to get into the country because he wasn't vaccinated against COVID.
Speaker 5 (08:51):
At the time, your vaccination status was such a big
thing and a lot of influencers were being slammed for
being unvaccinated, so there was an lot of sympathy there
for Reese Hawkins when he couldn't get into the US
with his wife and child. Instead, he ended up in Switzerland,
and London and Stone tried to enter Switzerland but were
actually turned away at the border because she wasn't vaccinated.

It turned out that Reese had just gotten in just
in time before the law changed. He just had to
pass a positive PCR test.

Yeah, so he ended up spending most of the year
in Mexico without London and Stone. I almost said pebble then,
like I just.

Have found anyway.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
Twenty one, Tammy confirmed during an Instagram Q and A
that she had the kids full time now that Reese
lived overseas.
Speaker 5 (09:39):
So back to Tammy and Matt Paul. After dating for
just over a year, Matt proposed to Tammy in November
twenty twenty one, and it was perfect timing with the
reality TV film crew capturing the moment. So Matt organized
a surprise luxury boat ride for Tammy and her children,
Wolf and Saskia, and initially Tammy was sharing updates to

it Instagram story from the boat, so she posted a
selfie in a bikini. She also posted a photo of
a bottle of champagne and videos of her kids. She
then shocked her followers by revealing that she was engaged.
Speaker 2 (10:12):
And it really was the perfect background for the film
crew because Matt had decorated the luxury yacht with red
roses and petals, and it was really sweet because he
got both of the kids involved. In the proposal, so
they held up a sign that said Mummy, will you.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
I can't actually believe that this proposal was four years
ago because I vividly remember all of the images from it,
like that photo of Saskia and Wolf and the ring.
Oh my god, that is my favorite engagement ring of Tammy's.
It was this beautiful ovalcut diamond with little smaller diamonds
around the band.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
It really was a stunning ring, and Tammy announced the
news to her followers, writing I'm in shock, honestly have
not been able to stop crying happy tears. Yes, yes, yes,
my love, and tagged Matt Pool.
Speaker 5 (10:55):
Funny enough, Tammy and Matt ended up following in the
footsteps of Reese and London, and two weeks after their engagement,
announced that they were pregnant with a baby girl. So
Tammy uploaded a video to Instagram of her revealing her
baby bump with Matt, Wolf and Saskia, and she captured
the video our hearts are so full now.
Speaker 2 (11:13):
A few months later, during a routine pregnancy scan, doctors
discovered that Tammy's baby had an extra finger, so she
had six fingers on each hand.
Speaker 5 (11:23):
It's actually a genetic condition. Called polydactyl which is a
condition that runs in the Hembro family. So Tammy, Amy,
and Emily were all born with extra fingers, as well
as Tammy's brother and mum. Emily's child, Gabriel, also had
an extra finger, but Tammy's had it skipped Wolf and Saskia.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Yeah, so it turns out that this scan showed that
the baby's extra fingers were a lot more developed than
other members of her family.
Speaker 5 (11:47):
Yeah, so shortly after the baby was born, she did
have the fingers removed, just like Tammy and her sisters did.
It's pretty cute because Tammy has explained in the past
that her sisters and her were left with little scars
on their fingers, and growing up they just assumed that
everyone had the same I don't.
Speaker 2 (12:02):
Know what I'd do if I found out my child
had an extra finger, because it could be quite handy.
I don't understand how it would be handy. Well, it
would have been Tammy to have an extra finger. She
could have kept all over her engagement rings and.
Speaker 5 (12:13):
God moving swiftly along. In March twenty twenty, while Tammy
was organizing her overseas baby moon, speculations started mounting that
Reese Hawkins was refusing to sign their kids passport applications,
so on her Instagram story, Tammy revealed she was having
a stressful time trying to get Wolf and Saskia's passports renewed,
saying that there were some obstacles now when it comes
(12:36):
to children's passports, both parents need to provide consent, and
it seemed like Tammy's Instagram story led a follower to
ask Reese about his relationship with his eldest children. The
person wrote, so, why haven't you seen your first two kids?
Answer the question? Shut us all up? And Reese responded
because me and their mum have the most funcked relationship
on the planet and always have and it's not possible

for me too right now.

Probably not the best response from Reese Hawkins, not really
showing a united front.

Later on, and in a turn of events, a month later,
Rees shocked his followers by sharing a sweet black and
white photo of him hugging Wolf and Saskia to his
Instagram story. So he hadn't actually shared a photo of
his kids to social media for years, Despite sharing photos
of his youngest son Stone.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
Yeah, So that came off the back of him saying
that he wanted to keep his eldest children private, particularly
because now that they were getting older, they were more
recognizable and they didn't really want to be a part
of the content. Reese had also notably been absent from
his two children's lives during his relocation to the US
with London and Stone, and obviously Rees hadn't been around
(13:43):
Saskia and Wolf for such a long time since trying
to move to the US, and it appeared it was
the first time he'd actually seen them since coming back
to Australia.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Now, in June twenty twenty two, just weeks out from
Tammy giving birth, speculation was continuing to mount that she
and Matt Paul had broken it up. So it started
simmering back in April when photos emerged from Tammy's baby
shower of a decorative sign that said baby Hembro the
Third rather than Baby Paul, and by June the couple
hadn't been photographed together for over a month when Matt

slipped up and revealed they weren't living together. So it
all started when Matt hit back at a follower on
Instagram accusing him of not pulling his weight after Tammy
shared numerous Instagram posts and stories showing her on her
own and discussing how family had been helping with household chores,
so one follower wrote, Matt, not trying to put you down,

but you really need to step up and pull your
weight around with Tammy. Clearly she is struggling with everyday
tasks and you were not there with her helping her.
Family had to go around to your house to help
her and clean rooms today and yesterday. Not even going
to speak about that. Can you not see she is
passively posting about you not helping her when we can
all see it. Why not you? Drinking can be done

anytime with your besties, but having the last week with
Tammy to your is so very precious before you become
parents now. Matt responded, writing I understand your message comes
from a good place. You have zero idea what myself
and Tammy are going through, nor do you know or
need to know what is happening with our relationship, and it.

Appears Matt then slipped up and gave away too much information,
adding I was around there today. You don't know that
because all you see is Instagram. I don't know you.
You don't know me, You don't know Tammy. I understand
you guys are all fans of her, but keep your

nor do I care to hear it. Have some respect now.
The reference of visiting Tammy's house made it very apparent

that they were no longer living together now, in what
seemed to be a clear bid to stop break up speculation.
Days later, Tammy shared a sweet video of her kissing
and cuddling Matt in front of her pool as he
cradled her heavily pregnant belly. Matt wrote under the video,
come on out, little girl. It seemed to work.

The drama really continued for poor Tammy because, just days
out from giving birth to her third child, she was
rushed to hospital after being bitten by a dog. So
Tammy needed stitches and shared a photo of her bandaged
hand to Instagram. She didn't share how or when the
incident occurred. She wrote little update, lots of tears and
spent yesterday in hospital, but surprisingly not baby related. How

to clean out and stitches from a dog bite. Not
the best day, to say the least, but I'm all good.
Just sare now with her baby just days away from arriving.
She wrote, kind of glad baby hasn't made an appearance
yet because I pretty much can't do anything with his
hand at the moment.
Speaker 5 (16:34):
Poor Tammy. She can't really catch a break here, can she?
No now. On the twentieth of June twenty twenty two,
Tammy gave birth to her third child, Posey Paul. Tammy
shared a collection of photos from her labor, which showed
that Matt and her sisters joined her in the birth suite.
Tammy captioned the photos the absolute hardest yet most rewarding
thing I've ever done, an unmedicated vback, No words, birth
(16:56):
story to come for now, just resting in my love
bubble with my perfect little girl. Wow. Now, for those
not across the terminology, a vback refers to a vaginal
birth after cesaian. It was actually after two cesareans for Tammy.
So that's an incredible thing to do.
Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yes, we got some idea of just how painful this
was because Tammy shed a photo of her screaming while
in labor and wrote, you guys will get the full
sound version in my birth video. Real and raw screams,
and all my sisters were laughing because I asked if
I really have to push her out low.
Speaker 5 (17:29):
Now, the ten minute blog didn't disappoint. I still remember
watching this at my old job with one of my
friends and we just kept having to pause it to
be like, oh my God, like to make comments. I
think we should actually throw to some of the screams.
A yeah, God, it just makes you so glad that
(18:00):
I had a cesarean.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
I recently listened to Steph Claire Smith's birth story on
her podcast and they included an upside of her screaming,
and I just was like, Wow, women have to go
through a lot of.
Speaker 5 (18:11):
Shit they do. This vlog was pretty interesting for more
than the reason of just listening to Tammy screaming, because
you got the vibe that Matt really took a back
seat during the birth, so he didn't actually feature much
in the video, and Tammy's sister Amy cut the umbilical
cord rather than that.
Speaker 2 (18:28):
Now, breakup rumors continue to follow Tammy and Matt in August,
and this was despite the fact that the couple traveled
to Bali together for Tammy's fitness retreat that she held
with journey retreats.
Speaker 5 (18:38):
Yeah, something just seemed off because Matt was spotted with
Tammy and the kids at the airport, but he actually
didn't feature in any of the photos in Tammy's Barley
photo dump. Matt did his own photo dump as well,
and Tammy was in one of the pictures, but they
weren't photographed in a couple shot together at all. However,
to the delight of their Instagram followers, they ended up
being photographed together at a wedding and posted that photo.

But the relief was actually short lived because the couple
just continued to unfollow and refollow each other, so everyone
was like, what is actually going on now?
Speaker 2 (19:11):
As breakup rumors were intensifying, Reese Hawkins made a surprise
appearance at Saskia's sixth birthday party, and for the record,
Matt was at the party and posted about it on
his Instagram. It was the second time in two months
that Reese posted photos with Wolf and Saskia, and this
appearance with his children also coincided with rumors of his

own breakup with his wife London.
Speaker 5 (19:35):
Yeah, so a month earlier, London appeared without her wedding
rings on Instagram and super slus also spotted that they
hadn't engaged with each other's social media content for months
and had unfollowed each other. So it wasn't really a
very good look that suddenly Reese wasn't with London and
he was visiting his kids. It made it seem like
London had stopped him from visiting them, which I'm not
(19:55):
saying is the case at all, but just the optics
weren't good at all.
Speaker 2 (19:58):
Yeah, and it really seemed like was trying to restore
his reputation as a father because, in a deleted comment,
a follower remarked on Reese's absence, to which he replied,
I'm not an absent dad. Can you please stop saying that? Yeah,
and reading that at the time, it made it seem
like Reese was purposely sharing his kids again online as
an attempt to quieten the critics. Now just back to Tammy.
(20:21):
So in September, she added further fuel to the breakup
rumors when she dyed her famous blonde hair red.
Speaker 5 (20:28):
We all know that when a girl makes a dramatic
hair transformation, something is going down. The relationship is not good,
either that or your postpartum. Then she was postpartum at
the time, So that's true.
Speaker 2 (20:40):
But despite this dramatic hair change, Tammy and Matt were
photographed together that weekend at the Burly Festival with their
daughter Posey, as well as Wolf and Saskia.
Speaker 5 (20:50):
Yeah, they looked really happy. They picked up a box
of oysters. They were eating ice cream. The Daily Mail
published some terribly suggestive photos of Tammy Hember eating ice cream.
I was like those bloody Priddics. And Matt was actually
at the festival running a food stool for his now
defunct restaurant with olive frost. Myman, isn't that just a
blast from the past. It was noted, though, that Tammy
wasn't wearing her engagement ring and there wasn't much PDA
(21:12):
coming from the couple. They did go to time Zone
after and documented that on their Instagram story. However, despite
all of this, Tammy didn't share a Father's Day post
about Matt on his first Father's Day, and to make
matters worse, Tammy's best friend Isabel Laws and Matt stopped
following each other on Instagram. Isabel Laws always seems to

be the one that goes, don't have time for you anymore,
and just a week after their public outing, Tammy followed
in her best friend's footsteps and unfollowed Matt on Instagram
as well.
Speaker 2 (21:43):
Its law telling when her best friend unfollows the guy
that maybe it's actually officially over because a soft lawn. Yeah,
because Tammy will just unfollow her boyfriends constantly.
Speaker 6 (21:54):
Yeah.

If Isabel Laws is still unfollowing them, it's not a
good sign. Matt also a spotted celebraty the NRL Grand
Final in Sydney without Tammy, and then he attended a
Harbor Cruz party rather than attending Tammy's fitness app event.
He also didn't support the event on his social channels.
It just seems like deja vu with everything that's gone
down with Matt Sakowski Reach.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
It really does. And in December of twenty twenty two,
The Daily Mail claimed Tammy told a makeup artist on
a photoshoot that it was tough being a single mother
of three. Apparently, she explained that she had to bring
Posey on set with her because she'd split from Matt,
and then in January twenty twenty three, it was widely
reported that they had broken up, with both removing each

other from their social media accounts again and.
Speaker 5 (22:39):
A couple of months later, in March, Tammy replied to
a comment on TikTok asking what happened with Matt, and
she wrote, some people are just not meant to be together,
no matter how hard they try. We're much better as friends,
not that it's anyone's business. She also responded to a
fan asking why Matt wasn't in her YouTube video, writing,
that's just part of my life. I'm choosing not to
share anymore, and out of respect for everyone and for

my kids, I just don't feel like I need to
give an explanation now.
Speaker 2 (23:05):
If we fast forward to May, all eyes were on
Tammy's son Wolfe's birthday to see if Reese Hawkins would
show up, and he didn't. Disappoint so Tammy's sister Emily
shared a video to her Instagram story of recent Tammy
chowing down on burgers together.
Speaker 5 (23:20):
Oh this was crazy to see, particularly because of the
timing of this reunion between them, because they were both
seemingly single and there were sort of flirty vibes between
the two of them. I think people were hoping that
they might get back together.
Speaker 2 (23:33):
And it's also seemed like he'd gotten the green light
from Tammy's family, the fact that it was Emily sharing
the photo of them.
Speaker 5 (23:39):
Together and she was like mum and dad like she
was sort of shipping the relationship I suppose as well.
And this resulted in a lot of people praising both
Reese and Tammy for their co parenting and getting along
so well for their children's sake.
Speaker 2 (23:52):
Now, at around the same time the video of Tammy
and Reese e merge, Matt Paul made a snarky remark
on his Instagram. So he shared a photo of him
posing on a balcony and someone commented saying he should
use the photo for an online dating profile. He replied,
I don't need Tinder. I'm happy with the new upgrade
with a wink emoji face. Now, the backlash was swift,

but Matt claimed it was just a joke and he
was on good terms with Tammy. He wrote, calm your speculation.
The upgrade has nothing to do with what you were thinking.
The mother of our child and I are fine. I'm
single and certainly not miserable. Matt went on to claim
that the original commenter was a mate who sold him
a surfboard. The joke is the new board is my upgrade,

and I don't need Tinder, a dating app. Mind blown.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
It just goes to show you can't read into every comment.
Sometimes the tone and the context isn't there.
Speaker 2 (24:42):
Sometimes the punctuation isn't there either. Now there's like spelling
errors apparently, which lead people to think or read too
much into things.
Speaker 5 (24:49):
Now, I swear the influencers don't know what an apostrophe is.
I get so annoyed about it.
Speaker 2 (24:55):
Yeah, I know, you get very triggered by things like
that now. In July of twenty two, twenty three, Matt
Paul Hard launched his new girlfriend, Mattie Woodward. He shared
a selfie of the pair cuddling on his Instagram story
and this was just months after he and Tammy broke up.
Speaker 5 (25:10):
Yeah, so the photo showed them relaxing at the beach,
and moments after the news broke, Tammy shared a video
of her andner sister Ava miming to a song about
seeing your ex with a new woman. So the song
was called Angel Eyes and it sung by the cast
of Mamma Mia Here we go again, and the lyrics say,
one night I was taking a walk along a river

when I saw him together with a young girl, and
the look that he gave me, gave me shivers because
he always used to look at me that way. Now,
they filmed this video while they were holidaying Impositano. As
you can imagine, everyone went nuts and said that she
was trying to throw shade at Matt Paul and his
new young girlfriend. Tammy came out and denied the video
and said that she'd actually sent herself the viral song

and had planned a mime to it when they were
in Italy. Let's hear more of what she said.

As per usual, everything I post like people think it's
directed at someone, it's shade at someone, or it's some
hidden secret meaning behind it. No, to me, TikTok is
just TikTok. I You'll never ever, I can assure you,
you will never see me like posting something directed at

someone or being shady. That is just not not who
I am. That's not I'm too focused on my own
life to even be aware of what's going on at
other people's lives, let alone, like, look at this view,
look at where I am.

Do you actually think she was throwing shade?

Yes?

I do now. In April of twenty twenty four, Tammy
broke her silence on her breakup with Matt Paul during
an interview with me A Friedman on her podcast No Filter.
When asked if there's been anything she's wanted to share
but hasn't, Tammy said her breakup with Matt Paul. She
said the reason and why she didn't talk about it
(27:01):
publicly was because she felt like a failure, having two
failed engagements involving children.
Speaker 5 (27:06):
Now, as sof and I discussed in the first episode
of this series. Tammy also touched on her breakup with
Matt Paul briefly in her book, saying that it left
her devastated, and she wrote that ultimately her and Matt
weren't meant to be and while she wanted it to work,
it was beyond her control.
Speaker 3 (27:22):
She then said this, I'm not going to go into
the ins and outs of our relationship. Obviously, we're human,
we're not perfect. We have ups and downs like everybody else.
I just wanted to let you guys know that we're
not currently together. I don't want people to think that
we just gave up like most people would know. There's

a lot more to it. When it comes to relationships.
They're very complex. We love each other very much, and
we're always going to be a family. No matter what,
Our kids come first. Their health and their happiness are
always going to be my number one priority.
Speaker 5 (28:00):
It's interesting to compare how Tammy dealt with her breakup
with Matt Paul compared to her most recent breakup now
with Matt Zakowski. She was so private about it. She
didn't even want to admit that they weren't together anymore,
and it seemed like the easiest thing for her to
do was just to pretend it wasn't happening. It's so
interesting that that was the strategy behind it, and it
(28:20):
kind of worked because Matt moved on, Tammy moved on.
They now have this really good co parenting relationship with Posey,
and Posey can look back and go, oh, Okay, my
mum and dad didn't fight it out in the headlines.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
Yeah, you're right. I think the fact that they had
a baby involved makes this breakup very different to her
breakup with Matt.
Speaker 5 (28:38):
Now, after all of that, it seemed like we were
set to get the best reality TV series, but alas,
it never eventuated. In an interview in twenty twenty four,
Emily Hembro revealed that her family pulled the pin on
the reality show. After seeing how they were portrayed in
the pilot Wow, So, she complained that they made the
family look so bad and it was fake dry. She said,
(29:00):
I feel like my family has authentic drama and problems
that are really relatable, and I don't know, I don't
think we needed the fake kind of stuff. Now, Emily
didn't name the network in case it breached their agreement.
I have to say that I think this network, whoever
it was, has completely fumbled this deal. It is a
travesty that we will not be seeing Matt Poole proposing

to Tammy Hembro and all of the manufactured drama go down.
Speaker 2 (29:25):
It does seem like.
Speaker 5 (29:26):
The reality show might not totally be off the cards
because just recently, the Hembro sisters were on a press
tour for the launch of their supplement brand and they
were asked by The Daily Telegraph about a potential career
shift into reality TV, and Tammy responded saying, if we
did anything, it would be obviously like real And she
went on to say, I feel like it's not something
we wouldn't do. Let's just leave it at that, Stay tuned. Now.
(29:50):
Amy said that the show would have to be right
and authentic to them. She said, we wouldn't want it
to be drama focused, and you know, like what a
lot of stuff is out there. Emily added, its not
off the books. So this has got me thinking. I
think a streaming service like Netflix or Prime has come
to Tammy Hembro and said, we want to make a
docuseries about you, similar to the one that Molly May
(30:11):
has just done, and it's not manufactured drama. It's following
you around and sharing your side of things. Given that
Tammy has just broken up with Masakowski, it is the
absolute perfect time.
Speaker 2 (30:21):
It would just be the Australian Molly May. Wouldn't it
be framed like that, coming fresh off the back of
a breakup? I mean, I'm hoping that then Tammy wouldn't
end up back with Matt Lake. Molly's enter Tobby.
