Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, and welcome to Outspoken. It's your dose of the
hottest influencer and pop culture news twice a week. I'm
Sophie Torbert and coming up on today's show, Veruca Salt's
not So Surprising divorce, Indy Clinton's controversial decision to change
her daughter's December birthday, and brit Hockley teases a move Overseas.

(00:24):
But first, Laura Henshaw has announced the arrival of her
baby boy Kate. I've been closely monitoring her Instagram account
ever since she said on her podcast that is her
birth week. This week, Steph gless Smith seemed beside herself
with excitement. It was almost as if, I mean, it
kind of reminded me of with you guys. I'm like,
I'm so excited for you to just get it. Yeah.
She did make that very clear in a post we

(00:45):
are going to speak about shortly, but yeah, all week
I kept thinking about it because Laura Henshaw knew the
date that she was going to give birth, because, as
she has spoken about and we've spoken about, she had
a planned c section, which seems to be quite controversial
for some idiots on the internet. We will move just
to put it bluntly, Well, that's how I feel about it.
I'm afraid that I intend to agree now. Laura broke

(01:07):
the news on Saturday, sharing a cute family photo in
the recovery room following her c section, so her husband
Dalton was in blue scrubs whilst Laura was breastfeeding her
new baby, and in the post, she revealed his much
anticipated name, writing our whole world Baby Atlas. I was
pretty thrown by the name. It wasn't what I was expecting.

(01:28):
Laura has spoken in depth about how her and Dalton
just don't like the same names. They've been clashing over them.
Apparently they've been having dinner parties with friends and saying
the names that they like and seeing how many votes
they get. The thing is, I was expecting something not
so traditional when I heard that Laura's top suggestion was
the name August, which is actually quite a cute name.

(01:49):
It reminds me of Taylors with a Song, Whereas Dalton
liked American sounding names like Brooks, so they had very
different tastes. Yeah, but Laura revealed on a podcast episode
that they'd come to an agreement on a name that
provided lots of different nicknames, and so I thought it
must be Alfred, because you've got our Fai, you've got
our f You've got Fred, You've got Freddie. Like, it's
a very versatile name for it. There's lots of other

(02:11):
names that have nicknames. Well, I just think it's one
of the cool names out there at the moment. Yeah,
So I was like, Okay, it's kind of traditional, but
you've got variations to it. I don't think listeners will
be surprised to hear that this name isn't necessarily my
cup of tea. We all like quite traditional, mainstream names.
That's not to say that this isn't their cup of tea.

(02:31):
So I'm happy for them if this is a name
that they love. I don't want to sound too judgmental,
but I personally never even knew that this was a name.
Have you never heard it before? Shane Mitchell's got a
daughter called Atlas. There's quite a few influencers that have
called their child Atlas. No, I have never ever ever
heard it. That's why I was completely thrown when I
saw it. I did like that Laura kind of had
a bit of a pun with the whole announcement by

(02:51):
saying our whole world baby Atlas. Oh, okay, that went
over my head. Did she use the globe as well?
I think so. I remember there was some speculation when
Sarah's Day was pregnant that she was purposely choosing baby
names that could be represented by an emoji because she
has a fox, so there's a fox emoji. She had Malachi,
which means angel. There's an angel. The theory got thrown

(03:11):
out the window when she had Harlow.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
I don't really know what you'd use there, But that
was at a time when it was very in vogue
for influences to tease what their baby names were and
for people to guess. I don't think that is as
poppular now. Now. This post from Laura was incredibly popular
at the time of recording. It has had seventy thousand likes.
The Blue Tick Brigade was also out and forced to

(03:33):
congratulate her, so Tully Smythe wrote congratulations, team, so so
thrilled for you. Love the name so much, whilst Victoria
Devine wrote congrats, my love. Welcome to the world Atlas.
You're already so loved now. I didn't know that Beck
Judd was friendly with Laura Henshaw. She wrote congratulations mum
and dad, whilst Michelle Andrews wrote precious baby boy has

(03:54):
the best best best mum. Seph Glesmith also joined in
and wrote out little man. We actually did our own
post congratulating Laura on the news, and there was quite
a strong reaction to the name from our listeners. One
user wrote Atlas has the weight of the world on
his shoulders, but congrats. Healthy baby is all you want,
while another said he'll be handy on road trips, the

(04:16):
poor kid. A couple of other listeners also weighed in,
saying that they felt uncomfortable with people making judgments or
comments about other people's choices of baby names, so it
was a bit of a mixed comment section in this instance.
I think because Laura has been so vocal about her
and Dalton fighting back and forth about the name, there
was always going to be a lot of intrigue and
I suppose judgment about what it was going to be.

(04:37):
I think anytime you choose a out their name, of
course there's going to be comments. We didn't get to
find out what the middle name was, though, because on
Laura's podcast she spoke about how they had asked Dalton's
father if they could use his name as the middle name,
and he actually came back to them and said, oh, well,
I don't actually really like my name that much. Can
I just come up with another name? And this is

(04:57):
of course, because Dalton has actually taken the last name Henshaw,
so they wanted Dalton's family to feel included. Yeah, because
Atlas is Atlas Henshaw aside from the name. Another thing
that surprised me was the fact that Laura showed her
newborn's face because it's been a hot topic because her
best friend and business partner, Steph CLEAs Smith, was the

(05:17):
talk of the town when she stopped showing her son's face.
We've discussed it in length on our podcast. Steph then
had another baby six months ago and she decided from
the get go not to show her face, and Steph
ended up coming out and saying, well, I actually would
have been quite comfortable showing her face as a newborn
because they changed so much, but I knew that I
would receive a lot of backlash for doing so. Well.

(05:38):
It sounded like Laura and Dalton were quite undecided. It
seemed like Laura was okay about sharing it, whereas Dalton
was a bit more conservative with his feelings towards it.
I mean, again, this is a newborn. They are going
to change. I don't think it really matters that much.
He's a very cute baby, I have to say, though,
he is absolutely adorable. Yeah. Well, on the podcast episode

(06:01):
where she was discussing it with Steph, she said potentially
she might feel comfortable showing his face for the first
couple of months and then stop doing it, so it'll
be interesting to see how she tackles it. She did say, oh, well,
you know, if he's really cute, we'll probably show him.
And he is a door. That's a difficult thing. When
you have a baby, you're just so proud of them
and you sort of want to be like, look, everyone,

(06:21):
how cute did they now? Following Laura's announcement post, Steph
did one of her own. So She shared a series
of black and white photos of her lying in the
hospital bed next to Laura, and Laura was holding Steph's
daughter Billy while Steph was holding Atlas, and Steph wrote
about her excitement of seeing her best friend with a
baby for the first time. She then spoke about knowing

(06:44):
what's ahead for Dalton and Laura saying, welcome to the
club of late night texts, venting sessions, gigantic coffees, endless questions,
delayed responses, letting go of control, tired hellos, bringing up
your child in any conversation you can and Joy, that's
impossible to explain. Reading between the lines, she is saying,

(07:05):
thank God you're finally having a child, Laura, so that
you get it, Yeah, that you're finally on the same
page for me. I had to wait ten months with
Amy and a year for you. Well, I mean Steph
had to wait four years her son, Harvey's four years. Yeah,
she's been waiting a long time, so I can see
why she was so excited. It's funny because you guys
have both apologized to me since you've got a baby.
I just think a lot of people go on an

(07:26):
apology tour, and I think that Laura will probably be
the same. I'm so interested to hear her give an
update on her podcast about what it's like. She teas
that she will be back pretty soon on there. Oh,
I'm hanging out for it. There's going to be some changes.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
For example, we might be saying choo a lot more
are going to be seeing choo a lot more.

Speaker 1 (07:46):
Brea Hockley has teased she's moving to Italy to live
with her soccer player husband. The admission was made in
Life on Cut Spotify Wrapped Video Yeah. This year, Spotify
has introduced this new feature where podcasters can film a
vidio for their top listeners, essentially thanking them for their support.
I want to peel back the curtain for a second
because we were actually asked by Spotify to film one

(08:08):
for our listeners, and firstly, I want to say sorry
we didn't get around to doing it, But secondly, I'm
quite glad that we didn't because I think that ours
would have looked very amateur compared to the very sleek
ones that I've been seeing, because we were just going
to film something quickly in the car. I remember getting
the email being like, oh, guys, just a reminder you've
got to send yours through. And we were sitting at
a cafe with like I literally had food on me

(08:28):
that my son had been eating. You guys were feeding
your baby's bottles. We were looking a little bit disheveled,
and I was like, God, do we be really real
and film it from the table. So yeah, sorry, we
didn't get around to do it. I want to put
it out there. I think that if we get asked again,
we need to do it next year. But looking very
professional and getting back to this story. So it was
in Lifeline cuts Spotify wrapped video to their audience that

(08:51):
they teased brit maybe moving overseas. Let's take a listen
to what they said. You were watching this, it means
that you are one of our absent top two life
as you have listened to so many hours of life
uncut this year. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (09:05):
Wow, we had one of our biggest years yet.

Speaker 1 (09:07):
We hit over one hundred million downloads. I finally got
myself a husband, and Laura had a baby. Thank you
so much for being the best. Twenty twenty six is
gearing up to be such an exciting year. There's going
to be some changes. For example, we might be saying
chow a lot more. Wendred percent are going to be
saying chow a lot more. Have you round now? This

(09:28):
video elicited a huge response from the girl's Facebook community.
One listener, broke eeke my Spotify rap left me with
a special message from the girls and they mentioned they'd
be saying a lot of chow in twenty twenty six.
Is Britt moving please confirm now. It was actually Laura Burn,
BRIT's co host, who jumped into the Facebook group to
give more details about BRIT's move. She wrote, Britt is

(09:49):
going to spend more time recording from abroad so she
can be with Ben. Yeah, so it sounds like Britt
isn't leaving Sydney for good, but more so that she'll
be going back and forth but be spent extended periods
of time in Italy. Britt did that when she was
dating that tennis player, like she went on tour with
him and was recording remotely. It seemed like a complete
head fuck in terms of the actual logistics of it

(10:11):
because of time differences. I mean, they were moving around.
At least with Britt being in one spot, you can
kind of work out the time that suits. I mean,
Laura's just had a newborn, She's probably up a lot
of the time.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
But I mean the added thing is that they film
their podcast now, like it's more of a sleek production.
That's going to make it extra challenging. It's really interesting
because Britt's husband, Ben has been living in Italy since
the start of the year, so he made the move
from Romania after being signed as a goalkeeper for an
Italian professional soccer club. And their relationship is a really

(10:43):
interesting one because they first met on celebrity dating app
Raya when Ben was over in Australia playing in a tournament,
and at the time, Britt said she wasn't looking for
anything serious because she had just gotten out of a
long distance relationship with that tennis player Kay who you
referenced Jordan Thompson, and she vowed that she was never
going to do long distance again. But they had this
instant connection, so they ended up catching up every single

(11:05):
day that Ben was in Australia and quickly became official
and since then they've been doing long distance. This has
been going on for three years, even after they got
married in Bali in the middle of the year. Personally,
I found it really hard to get my head around
the fact that they were married and still doing long distance,
because I kind of feel like when you're making a
lifelong commitment, it gets to the point where you go, Okay,

(11:27):
we're either going to break up we're going to make
this thing work. So they've clearly gone we're going to
make things work. But it was clear that they still
hadn't decided where they were going to live, and to
make things more confusing, on the night of their wedding,
they actually purchased their first home together. It seemed like
a bit of a whim is a two point four
million dollar very esthetically pleasing house on the Gold Coast.
They said that they must have been feeling the good

(11:48):
vibes from the night or had a few too many
cocktails when they purchased it. In the post on Instagram,
the couple wrote, we may be living on opposite sides
of the world, chasing our own dreams, but we are
working towards our future together and that's the most important thing.
I mean For those unaware, Britt lives in Sydney, so
it didn't make sense that they had bought a house
on the Gold Coast, particularly because the podcast is what's

(12:11):
been keeping Britain Sydney from the get go. Well. She
actually recently opened up on her own podcast saying that
she was set to move into the house on the
Gold Coast, but she decided against it after finding out
that their real estate agent had actually revealed their address
to a large number of people, so in a bid
to promote his business and himself. He ended up calling
heaps of people, telling them the address of the home

(12:32):
and sort of saying, oh, I sold them this house,
bizare It is very bizarre, And she said that she
felt too unsafe to move in there alone, So that's
why they've actually opened up the house for people to
have photo shoots in. Well, does that mean that they
won't actually be moving in there, because isn't that giving
the address to even more people? Well, yeah, exactly, And
she's also teased that she's going to be in Italy anyway. Yeah,
it's hard to get your heard around. I mean, I

(12:53):
suppose it's reflective of the fact that they both don't
really know what they're doing. But I think it's a
very positive move that Britt is moving to Italy. The
whole time, I was like, God, one of them just
needs to make the move, and that's the thing. As
an outsider looking in, it looked like neither of them
really wanted to compromise. I mean, Britt has a very
established career in Australia. She's on one of the top
podcasts in the country and they have been also hosting

(13:15):
a daily radio show. Then there's Ben, who's got this
professional football career in Italy. The thing with professional sport
is that it's so cutthroat, like he could do an
injury and his career could be over. You know. It
doesn't have the longevity stay of BRIT's career, so there
is a timeline on that. But the issue is I
suppose he's a little bit younger than Britt too. What
also makes it tough though, is him playing professional sport.

(13:37):
You would have to have a lot of trust in
that relationship, particularly when you're going six months without seeing
each other.

Speaker 2 (13:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
I mean not to say that that is an issue
at all in their relationship, but I mean there is
that stigma around athletes. I mean, he seems like a
completely amazing guy that they do that, they seem beautiful together,
but yeah, you would have to be very trusting and
have a very solid relationship to make it work. Now,
this and She'll move to Italy only seems to be
possible now that Britt and Laura are no longer hosting

(14:05):
their radio show, The three pm Pickup, So they announced
a couple of weeks ago that they have parted ways
with aarn who's their podcast network and also who they're
doing the radio show through They've been with AARN for
the past six years, so this was pretty big in
the podcast world for them to leave. I think it's
important for us to point out for full transparency before
we dive too much deeper into this section of the chat,

(14:26):
that we are also signed with ARN, similar to Life
on Cut, we still run our show independently that AARN
secures us ad partners. Yeah, and it was quite interesting
because Laura seemed to throw a bit of a swipe
at AARN, so she jumped into the Life un Cut
Facebook group to clear up about BRIT's move, and she
also touched on the duo's move from ARN, so she

(14:48):
wrote high Loves just to clear up the chatter. We
are employed by ARN for the radio show, which isn't
continuing next year. Britt is going to spend more time
recording from abroad so she can be with Ben and
I wanted more time with the kids, which wasn't something
AARN could offer. We are moving to SCA, and although
we own our own podcast and independently create and produce it,

(15:10):
SCA will support us by helping us to sell our
ad space in brackets, just like AARN has to date.
That way we can focus on what we do best,
content rather than sales. Nothing changes about the podcast. We
are just so stoked we get to go into twenty
twenty six with more life balance. I mean, I don't
know if i'd say it's a swiper ARN, but she's

(15:30):
essentially saying that AARN didn't provide them the work life
balance that they wanted. I mean, again, I want to
put out there. Even though we're a part of the
AARN network, we have no idea about the ins and
outs of the deals of other podcasts. This is our
own pure speculation, but it is interesting. I would have
thought that if AARN wanted to keep Life on Cut,
they would have just said, Okay, don't worry about the show.
Maybe it's just an excuse that Laura is providing us

(15:52):
to why they've moved to Aarn's competitive I mean, if anything,
you think the benefit of having our own radio show
would be one to stay. They're kind of making it
sound like AARN said you either do both or you
do nothing, but which I don't actually think would have
been the case at all. The one thing this really
shows me is that a lot of influencers appear to
be turning their back on these radio gigs. We saw

(16:13):
Abby Chatfield quit her radio show, and I think a
lot of influencers know that they have more power in
their own platforms than the mainstream media does these days,
and they think to themselves, I'd rather have this work
life balance than be stuck doing this gig every single
day that I'm not particularly that passionate about, which I
think has upset a lot of journalists who have worked

(16:34):
their whole lives to be given those opportunities. I mean, yeah,
at the end of the day, I think it just
comes down to flexibility. With a radio show, you have
to show up every day at a certain time, and
even though you get I'm presuming a massive paycheck, sometimes
it probably doesn't compete with what you can get for
a more flexible job that you're not having to put
in the hours. I also think that it would be
difficult for Laura and Britt to continuously be coming up

(16:56):
with content for a radio show and all podcast that
they put out there.

Speaker 3 (17:02):
If you haven't heard, my beautiful husband and I are divorcing, Annolling,
I don't know. I've got to iron out the details,
not one hundred percentual of how to do it.

Speaker 1 (17:10):
Varuka Salt has announced she's getting a divorce, ten weeks
after her shotgun wedding in Vegas to a man she'd
only met two weeks prior. Now, the news came as
no surprise to anyone. Before we get into the marriage breakdown, Kate,
can you get listeners up to speed with a relationship timeline?
So Faruka met her husband on the twenty eighth of

(17:30):
September this year, and they got married two weeks later
on the twelfth of October. Until this weekend, he was
only known online by his social media handle digit Premium. However,
in a recent TikTok video, Veruka revealed his real name
is drum Roll Donovan. Donovan, I feel like digit Premium

(17:51):
has a bit of ring to it. Someone actually makes
you saying his name has been revealed, but I can
only think of him as Digy Premium now. Veruka broke
the news to her followers about the wedding on the
second of November. The video went viral at the time,
clocking up four point five million views on TikTok. Now,
it didn't seem like they had wedded bliss for too long,

(18:13):
because a week later, Donovan begged Aruka's followers via his
Instagram story to tell her to unblock him and that
he's sorry. Look, can we please refer to him as
Digy Premium because I just can't get the new name,
and I feel like we're going to forget about this
guy soon. Anyway, He's going to be Digy for me
to me forever now, Okay, well, I'll refer to was
Digy if that helps you, Yes, thank you now. Veruka

(18:34):
at the time hit back and accused Digi of cheating
before taking him back. She then shared a video telling
her fans to stop bullying him and that he didn't
cheat on her. Now that we are all up to speed,
let's dive into the breakup announcement. So on the fourth
of December, Veraruka announced the breakup on her Instagram stories.

(18:54):
She also updated the caption on her initial grid post
about the wedding, so she poked herself, updating the caption
to read, we broke up before the est even finished
laughing my ass off, but I'm hot, so I'm keeping
the picks up now. For those unfamiliar with the term esther,
it is basically a ninety day US visa. They've spoke

(19:15):
a lot about on ninety day fiance, I love that
she's just keeping the pictures up because she thinks they're hot. Though,
like what a call? It sort of reminds me of
when Olivia Rodgers and Justin mckinn got that shock divorce
and Olivia shared the Olivia edit of her video of
her wedding video because they got divorced, well separated, before
they'd even got the official video back. I mean, is

(19:37):
that a blight on the vieography company or the marriage,
because I mean that's you know, eight months is a
long time to wait for a wedding video. And he's
actually a South Australian company called I Do Cinema. I
don't know, but they are renowned for taking ages to
get the videos back because off footage they're that pop pillar.
This videography company, they're a great one. Now, after the breakup,
she issued a statement and apologized to her followers for

(19:59):
quote lifting a man that is a compulsive liar and scammer.
She also said she hoped her followers could forgive her
for being a stupid idiot now. She went on to
say that she would be leaving la and returning home
to Australia. Interestingly, in the announcement, Veraruka made reference to
her husband's T shirt business, so that's the one that

(20:20):
she had recently started promoting to her followers now. Weeks earlier,
she shared that she had been bedazzling some of the
lovely designs, which included slogans like Chlamytia survivor very Tasteful,
and she urged her followers to contact her if they
purchase anything from her husband's website so she can personally
refund them. Now, when these two got married, we discussed

(20:41):
how it seemed like it could potentially be for content
and for views, and quite a few of Veraruka's followers
joked that they were holding out for the long TikTok
series that Veruka would ultimately share about the demise of
their relationship. Now, Varuka shut down the prospect of spilling
the tea in her initial statement, writing, I told you guys,

(21:01):
Veruka salt law never ends. I really hope this doesn't
get messy with back and forth posting about each other,
and I want to make it clear that there will
be no I married a man I didn't know part
forty seven unless he is posting about me first.

Speaker 3 (21:16):
To me, it.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
Seems like more of a threat than a promise, because
she continued writing also to my husband, please don't post
anything negative about me, because once I opened my mouth
about what you said about my son, it'll be over
and we both know that it's just the tip of
the iceberg. Now, it only took twenty four hours for
Veruka to renege on her plan, so she ended up

(21:37):
posting seven very damning Instagram stories about her husband's alleged behavior.
The posts were swiftly deleted, but not before being screenshot
and shared around the internet. So in the deleted Instagram stories,
Veruka painted a very disturbing image of the marriage. She
explained that she had been planning her quote escape for
a while and had announced her breakup publicly, so she

(21:59):
didn't have the option to change her mind again. Within
the lengthy post, she also alleged that her husband sexually
assaulted her, was violent, and cheated on her. Now, I
want to reiterate at this stage these are unfounded allegations
and her husband is yet to speak on them. They
are some very disturbing allegations. Now. Veruka also opened up
about her husband's financial situation, which was a hot topic

(22:23):
of discussion when they first announced their marriage, so a
comment began trending on Vuka's page that said nobody falls
in love faster than a man with no place to stay,
which I do agree with that sentiment there at the time.
Veruka hit back, saying she was the one using her
husband because she was staying at his house. However, the

(22:43):
reality was that Veruka was actually paying her husband's rent.
In fact, Varuka alleges that her husband didn't have a
bank account when she met him, as he gave it
to a scammer to get ten thousand dollars. Now it
gets worse. She alleged that he barely works and he
does one shift a fortnite as a waiter at a
seafood restaurant called bupa gump shrimp only in America, I

(23:05):
just see. Averuka also alleged using women he was dating
for financial support was a theme in her husband's past relationship.
She also used these Instagram stories to out some of
her own bad behavior. I'm assuming this is in a
bid to get in before DIGI shares any receipts. So
she ended up sharing a text message that her husband
sent her accusing her of having sex with a famous rapper.

(23:29):
Now she didn't name this rapper, but a fun fact
is actually Diggy's favorite rapper. I'm presuming it's the same
rapper that flew her out to the US a couple
of months ago. Now, Varuka was very honest. She said
that yes, she did go to the rapper's house and
it was her only violation of the marriage, but conceded
she didn't feel bad about it, and she said it
was the only thing that made her husband take their

(23:51):
marriage seriously. Now, despite originally saying that she wasn't going
to share what DIGGI said about her late son, Cash,
who tragically passed away from Sid's last year, she didn't
hold back on her Instagram story now out of respect
for Veruka and Cash. We're not going to be going
into the abhorrent things that Digi allegedly said about him,

(24:11):
because I just don't want to give that oxygen and
I just find it too unsettling and upsetting. I found
it very disturbing. Now, in terms of these Instagram stories,
Ruka ended with maybe it's time for a YouTube video.
He has drained the joy out of me for the
past two and a half months now. We haven't got
a YouTube video as of yet, but over the weekend,
Veruka shared more details about her toxic marriage. So she

(24:32):
alleged the physical and emotional abuse that she experienced started
the night of the wedding, and she spoke about how
she had lost a lot of weight because she hadn't
been eating after her husband called her fat. She also
called out his family, saying that they enabled his abuse. Now,
she also went into details about the fight that ultimately

(24:53):
led to their breakup. So she claims that Diggi asked
her for two thousand dollars to go on a trip
to Miami and when she's said no, he exploded with rage.
So during that argument, Varuka said that she poured her
Starbucks over his suitcase of clothes, but conceded she was
the one who bought them for him, so that she
she had sorry, it's just gragging me up, so she

(25:14):
had every right to do so. I know this is
a very serious matter because it does involve alleged domestic violence,
but I just left how She's like, well, yeah, I
poured my Starbucks alver with clothes because I bought them
for him. Now, from there, Veruka alleges that Digi got
physically abusive and stole her shoes and camera before leaving
the apartment. Now, Vruka was very quick thinking, so while

(25:35):
she was at the apartment by herself, she ended up
taking some of his stuff so she would get her
own possessions back. Let's take a listen to what she
had to say about it.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
When he left and I started packing myself up to
get the fuck out of there, I realized my dunks
were gone, and my fifteen hundred actually eighteen hundred dollars
canon gee have an ex camera was also gone. Guess
he's fucking sold it because now he's pissed that I'm
posting on the internet about I've taken some of his
stuff accidentally when I packed it. Oh sorry, I accidentally
packed your projector in your sublimation print out. Oh it

(26:07):
seems like accidentally packed out. Come get it. He will
not deal with the fucking divorce with me. He's driving
me fucking mental. The only option right now for me
is to go back to Australia, which I'm trying to
fucking do. But I'm gonna have to go back there.
Wait twelve months of separation, file for divorce, hire a
fucking private investigator to find out where he's at so

(26:27):
I can serve him with fucking divorce papers when all
he needs to do is show up here, give me
my things. I'll give him his. We can sign it,
take it to court, file it, and it will be
done in thirty fucking seconds. No, he wants to make
it hard as fuck, and his family wants to be
included in the fucking blackmailing and being bitch to me.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
All I can think of that this is wild, that
this is a two and a half month relationship like
this is going to be ongoing though for the next year,
as she said, because it doesn't seem like he's going
to play ball.

Speaker 3 (27:00):
No.

Speaker 1 (27:00):
I mean, this is an evolving story, and I'm sure
it's not the last we will hear about it. I
think the forty seven part series will be coming on TikTok.

Speaker 2 (27:08):
I was actually going to ask you guys for your
opinion on something, but I've already made up my mind,
so I may as well just tell you because I
don't need your opinion. I just want to let you
know what I'm doing as a mother.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Indy Clinton has divided the Internet by announcing she's officially
changing her daughter's birthday. The Tiktoker's youngest daughter's soul is
set to turn two on the eighteenth of December. However,
it will now officially be celebrated on the twelfth, moving
forward to avoid the Christmas chaos Kate, can you tell
us more so? In a TikTok that has notched up

(27:40):
over two point one million views, Indy explained her reasons.
Let's take e listen, mat.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Me think why don't more people do this? Because I
actually can't genuinely think of any reasons why this would
be a bad thing. My third child, Solina devils that one,
the third born. I have decided to change her birthday
to the twelfth of December. She was actually just too
close to Christmas for my liking, and I just I
just thought going forward, she's never going to know we
have officially changed now.

Speaker 1 (28:08):
Indy finished up saying that she knew her daughter would
thank her in years to come for ensuring that she
got attention on her birthday. As you can imagine, Indy's
decision has divided opinions online. What did you think about it?
I thought a bit weird about it. I mean, is
this for real?

Speaker 2 (28:24):
Like?

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Is it just that they're going to be having a
birthday party on the twelfth, or are they actually telling her, Hey,
this is your birthday and we're going to legally change
I mean, I'm not think you can actually legally change
your birthday, can you. No, you can't. So there's going
to be a point of time where soul finds out,
actually my birthday is six days later than I think
it is in terms of moving it forward by six days,
I was surprised. I'm like, I would have done it earlier, like,

(28:45):
you know, maybe in the first of December, or even
later in November, because by the twelfth we're already full
swing into Christmas. Like my husband's birthday is the fourteenth
of December, and it's funny because he's someone who dislikes
both his birthday and Christmas. And I've always wondered if
it's because both of them are so close together. You
think you'd like it, though, And look at Taylor Swift.

(29:07):
Her birthdays on the thirteenth of December, and she loves Christmas. Yeah,
I mean I think that maybe it's in her blood.
I mean, she did grow up on a Christmas tree farm. Yeah.
I want to know from our listeners, who's born in December,
does it make you like December? More or less. Well,
I think it's hard on the people, like the wives
and the parents of the people with the December birthdays,
because for me, I've got to organize a gift for

(29:29):
Christmas and December. I don't want to be an asshole
and get him a combined present because I think that's cruel.
A lot of December babies complain about that. You know what, though,
I actually feel like if Soul's birthday fell on a twentieth,
like a twenty or the twenty first one, whatever, that
is very very close to December. But I feel like
eighteenth is not as bad. I mean, my ex boyfriend's
mum's birthday was Christmas Day. Well, that's when I feel

(29:51):
like you probably have the right to change it. But
eighteenth of December you've still got, you know, a week
in a bit. Well, it's not. It's a week like
seven days exactly seven od my mass is very bad,
but still it's a week. It's a week before Christmas.
Why don't you just hold the birthday party a week before,
but then just do something still to celebrate them on
the eighteenth. Well, Jesse Stevens from Mom and Mia, she's

(30:11):
very passionate on this topic. So her birthday is on
the twentieth of December, so she shares it with her
twin sister Claire. To make matters worse, Claire had a
baby the same day, so they now share it with her.
That's even worse than our situation because for people who
can't remember, my son was born a day before Kate's son,

(30:32):
and there was a whole year difference. But I was
scheduled to have a c section on Jack's birthday, and
I actually ranged them up and said, could you please
change this, like our sons are going to have the
same birthday now. They didn't care, they weren't phased by it.
They said, sorry, we can't do this. The babies didn't care.
The medical staff did not care, and they were like, no,
I'm sorry, we can't change this. A couple of days later,

(30:53):
I got a round him call being like, we've moved
you forward a day. So it worked out all right.
But yeah, well I was quite thrilled because Mama Mia
also talking about this topic and they mentioned that the
ideal birthday month is June and that is the month
of our suns. And originally I was feeling bad because
I was like, oh, June is shit, Like it's cold,
you can't have your birthday out at a park. You know,

(31:16):
I don't really like winter. We're March babies, so I
actually think March is a really good birthday month. Is
June ideal because it's six months before Christmas? Yeah, so
you space out the presence you've got, you know, exactly
six months between. You have a celebration in winter and
a celebration in summer, so you kind of like both
of the months. And I was like, yeah, also, if
they ever wanted to travel abroad for their birthday, like

(31:38):
you know in Europe euro summer, yeah, exactly. Well back
to Jesse Stevens. She actually wrote a tongue in cheek
article entitled people born in December are Superior to everyone else?
A theory, and in this article she said that December
babies are well adjusted, resilient, and have a healthy sense
of self loathing. She also explained the painful reality of
a December birthday, which includes no one attending your birth

(32:00):
because Christmas festivities take priority, and issues with having to
wait all year for presents with a potential of either
getting a combined one or none at all. She then
spoke about one birthday that she had where I think
she was fifteen, and she woke up and her mum
hadn't got her a present, so her mum rushed down
to Westfield and bought her a blender because she worked
at Boost Juice. And she said, she cried, I mean,

(32:21):
poor Anne Stevens. I mean, she has two sets of twins.
Birthdays would be a big time. I think I wonder
if her theory about birthdays is also impacted by the
fact that she is a multiple. This is a bit roy,
but I love watching Saffron Barker's videos on Christmas Eve
because her dad's birthday is Christmas Eve and he always
demands that his presence not be wrapped in Christmas paper.

(32:42):
Like he gets really upset if his birthday present is
in Christmas paper. But every year she's always forgotten to
get it, and isn't it like he can only celebrate
his birthday up until twelve o'clock in the afternoon and
then it's Christmas Eve every else pretty much because their mum,
Wendy does these Christmas Eve boxes for all of them
and they do big Christmas Eve night celebration. See in

(33:03):
that instance, I am all for moving your birthday. Yeah,
the mith before or even even the day before, like
Christmas Eve, because for a lot of people in the
UK when Europe in general, yeah, it's Christmas is celebrated
on Christmas Eve. So I'd love to hear our listeners thoughts.
Let's put up a thread in our Facebook community. Please
December babies way in there. Well that is all we've

(33:25):

(33:47):
Tammy away filming a Shark show, Like, yeah, I feel
like we haven't had it. It's quite rare for us
not to have an episode including Tammy, Hambro and Masakowski.
I think some people will be celebrating and there are
some listeners I'm sure rejoicing. Let's wrap things up. This
