BEAUTY: Ed Fox and Phoebe Martin of the Union Omaha FC "Proud Owls" Last year Fox and Martin started the Proud Owls, the LGBTQ supporters group for the USL League One Union Omaha FC. They started the supporters' group to provide a safe space for LGBTQ and Ally fans of the 2021 USL League One champions. Last Week, as their state began hearings on anti-trans discrimination and protest were called, they went to the state capital to show support. They were their to give support and be there. To them it was an evolution of what they started their group. SPEED: Zach Herrin and Kevin Jennings Zach Herrin has been in pro motorsports since he was a 16-year-old on the pro motorcycling circuit, and had potential, but finding his truth as a gay man and his chosen profession was since as a bridge too far. Herrin left the racing saddle to attend to himself. Along the way, the only answers he could have? Yes, you are gay and yes, you are a racer! Herrin began his road back.
