Dr. Stephen Michael Dahlstedt is a highly experienced urologist based in Greensboro, North Carolina. He has been practicing at Alliance Urology Specialists since November 2006 and has also attended the Reidsville Urology satellite clinic for approximately 14 years. Dr. Dahlstedt has a rich history in private practice, having served as president of his practice from 2012 to 2016.

Born on June 17, 1960, in Richmond, Virginia, Dr. Dahlstedt pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Richmond, graduating cum laude with a BS in Biology in 1982. He earned his MD from the Medical College of Virginia in 1986. His postgraduate medical training includes an internship and residency in General Surgery, followed by a residency in Urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Dahlstedt is a member of several professional societies, including the North Carolina Medical Society, American Medical Association, and American Urological Association. He has been board certified since March 7, 1994, and was re-certified in December 2003.

Throughout his career, Dr. Dahlstedt has been actively involved in clinical research, contributing as a sub-investigator to numerous studies focused on prostate cancer, overactive bladder, erectile dysfunction, and other urological conditions. His research has been published in reputable journals, including the Journal of Urology.

Dr. Dahlstedt’s dedication to his field and his patients is evident through his extensive clinical experience, leadership roles, and commitment to advancing urological research.
