FIANZAS PARA LOS DETENIDOS POR ICE:
En un memorándum con fecha del 8 de julio, el director de ICE informo a los oficiales que los inmigrantes quienes hayan entrado a EE. UU. de manera ilegal no serán elegibles para una audiencia de fianza mientras pelean contra la deportación en la corte de inmigración. O sea, que el memorándum instruye que deberán permanecer detenidos durante el proceso de deportación lo cual puede tomar meses o años. Esta nueva política conforme a ICE aplicara a millones de inmigrantes quienes entraron a EE. UU. de manera ilegal recientemente o hace décadas.
Históricamente, la detención sin fianza aplicaba solamente a personas quienes recién cruzaron la frontera y no aplicaba a personas quienes han estado en EE. UU. por largo tiempo y se encentren en el interior del país.
Esta nueva política de ICE es un abuso de la ley y se espera que enfrente desafíos legales.
AUTODEPORTACION:
El 5 de mayo de este ano el Departamento de Seguridad Nacional anuncio lo que ellos han descrito como una “oportunidad histórica” para que las personas quienes se encuentren en el país de manera irregular se auto deporten. Es mas el gobierno se ha comprometido a ayudar con los gastos del viaje y a proporcionar un incentivo de $1000 el cual supuestamente es pagado una vez que la persona haya regresado a su país y el regreso sea confirmado por la aplicación CBP Home App.

¿La abogada nos puede hacer un papel que diga que tenemos un abogado por si algo nos llegaraa a pasar? Pregunto por que ya uno estando dentro es más difícil agarrar un buen abogado.

Mi mama lleva 30 anos en EE. UU. Ella entro ilegal y es de México. Nosotros somo 4 hijos ciudadanos estadounidenses. Tengo una hermana de 23 años que desde jovencita maltrata a mi mama con golpes y amenazas. Unos abogados le dijeron a mi mama que ella puede tener un caso fuerte de VAWA pero mi mama entro y salió de EE. UU. varias veces. En 1997 a ella la detuvieron entrando y la deportaron. Ella ahora está aquí en Georgia desde el 2009 y no ha salido.

En el 2011 yo le estuve arreglando papeles a mi esposo. Yo soy ciudadana estadounidense y tenemos un hijo. En el 2013 a el lo deportaron a Honduras y allá se quedó. En 2018 yo me divorcié de él, pero nunca hice nada con el proceso. Ahora tengo una pareja y nos vamos a casar y yo quisiera arreglarle. ¿Necesito averiguar algo con inmigración sobre el caso de mi exesposo? El nunca arreglo papeles y sigue en Honduras.
